The 2013 campaign kicked off in New Town where 200 community and industry volunteers cleaned 12 miles of roadways, collecting 350 bags of trash. The New Town event was followed closely by two community-wide clean-up efforts in Williston led by Statoil and the Energy Outreach Initiative. North Dakota-Oilfield Stands Down For Safety-Other States Participating Feb. 7th, 2013 The MonDak Safety Network, in conjunction with OSHA, is asking area oil companies to participate in a safety stand down, starting Feb. 14. During the stand down, OSHA is asking companies to halt work for an hour or two on every work site to provide safety information to their workers. The stand down will also be happening in the other oil-producing states including Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas. “The goal is improving overall safety and reducing critical incidents in the field,” said MonDak safety network chairman Dustin Austin. Austin said the stand down in North Dakota will include a central meeting that will take place in Minot, where safety presentations will be given by leaders of the big oil producers. The presentations will be simulcast to other meeting centers in Stanley, Williston, Sidney, New Town, Dickinson and possibly Watford City. Austin said there will be interaction between the main meetin ...
An oil well blowout is spewing oil onto land surrounding the well site near New Town, North Dakota. The blowout happened Wednesday night at a well operated by Slawson Exploration just a half mile north of Lake Sakakawea, a reservoir on the Missouri River. Slawson District Superintendent Kyle Waliezer says no one was injured when the well failed between six and seven on Wednesday night. He says the company has put up three barriers between the site and the lake to keep liquid oil from reaching the Missouri River. He says the accident happened as the company was working on the rig that was already producing oil. North Dakota currently has 182 rigs drilling for oil and is nation's second leading state for oil production.

For all our friends and family: Paul Newman is in New Town, North Dakota. He is a roustabout for Trustland Oil. I can't wait until I find housing so I can get there too. Right now he is living in a trailer with another guy, one that the company provides for their employees. Looks like we will be moving to Minot, North Dakota. Minot has plenty of housing available. Paul's phone does still work so you can hit him up if you have his number.

I got such a good response last time I thought I might try again. With the unemployment rate at 2.2% in North Dakota all of the good, reliable workers already have jobs. That makes it difficult for many places to find good people. How bad is it? Well, here in New Town they are in need of pharmacists, pharmacy techs, doctors and nurses, at the city we need a good janitor, City Manager, of course soon we will need a couple of police officers and a records clerk, plus the city needs a new auditor (City clerk).
Want to know why immigration control is important, ask a Native American! Of coarse you can fully trust the US Government, just ask a Native American! I saw those as bumper stickers on a truck where I live, and honestly if you aren't already aware of why they are so true just ask me, I'll happily tell ya! The Native American's trusted the boat loads of White Men when they came, we spoke of GOD and how loving he is, and how we'd fairly treat their people. Anyone ever heard of "Wounded Knee", the White Man along with Custer cut them down with gatling gun's as they came for food (meat rotten, flour filled with bugs) as our promise to give them food and meat in turn for their land. Custer and the white man cut them down in one of the greatest slaughtering in all of human history, and still today in New Town, North Dakota we steal the oil beneath their tribal land and say we gave them the top of the land, not the oil under it. We admit the Black Hills, South Dakota is Tribal Land, but we the White Man are stil ...
today was stake conf. in the Bismark North Dakota stake so we went to New Town to watch it on TV. one reason why I love this gospel is it doesn't matter where you are you hear and are taught what you need to hear the Redmond Oregon stake conf. was great and it was what the people in Central Oregon needed to hear and be taught. So on Friday we left for North Dakota and Thur. i was having a bad day thinking about leaving my kids and wife for I don't know how long today's message was it does'nt matter where you are right now or what the situation is in your life you are here for a reason you and your family might not know why but our heavenly father knows why, all you can do is pray and read your scriptures and everything will be alright with you and your family so has I fall asleep tonight my feeling from being away from my family it is for a reason I don't know why but I do know everything will be just fine and one day I will know why he sent me to North Dakota so thank you to the Bismark stake for t ...
