Opponent, Kathy Taylor, endorsed by pro-abortion Planned Parenthood, was critical of Santorum's record on "women's rights." Taylor, and her political allies, have endorsed the killing of more than 25 million females in the womb since the Roe v. Wade decision in January 1973. Norma McCorvey, the "ROE" in that case, claims to have been misled, and is now a vocal public supporter of all babies in the womb.

The original lady (Norma McCorvey, alias Jane Roe) in Roe v. Wade now has a "PRO-LIFE" stance with newfound Christian beliefs.
He Still Makes House Calls Simon Greenleaf, one of the principle founders of the Harvard Law School, originally set out to disprove the biblical testimony concerning the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He considered himself an agnostic and was convinced that an in depth examination of the internal witness of the Gospels would dispel all the myths at the heart of Christianity. So, as a legal scholar came took God to task. In doing so he came to the conclusion that the Gospel writers were in fact reliable witnesses , and that the resurrection did indeed take place. "Norma McCorvey better known by her legal pseudonym, Jane Roe was the plaintiff in the landmark American lawsuit Roe v. Wade in 1973, which overturned individual states' laws against abortion by ruling them unconstitutional. Despite asking for an abortion in her original suit, McCorvey never had the procedure. She gave birth to a girl, who was put up for adoption. In 1994, McCorvey converted to Christianity and expressed remorse for her part in ...
It was June 1969 and Norma discovered she was pregnant. She felt completely unprepared for another baby and did not want to be pregnant, so her friends advised her to falsely say that she had been raped in order to obtain a legal abortion. But without a police report, she discovered she could not make the case. Norma was not thinking of her pregnancy as another human life, but as simply an unwanted condition. She went to two attorneys, who told her, “It’s just a piece of tissue. You just missed your period.” The attorneys were looking for just such a case as Norma’s, so they filed suit against the State of Texas, using Norma under the alias of Jane Roe. In the meantime, Norma McCorvey gave birth and then gave the baby up for adoption. The case, of course, was eventually decided by the United States Supreme Court in favor of abortion, on January 22, 1973 – ushering in a new world of legalized “abortion on demand” throughout the United States. We have now “celebrated” the 40th anniversary ...
Roe v. Wade originally limited abortion to fetuses that couldn’t survive outside the womb. But today, it’s been expanded into barbaric arguments that a child born during a botched abortion shouldn’t even be allowed medical care. Jane Roe herself, Norma McCorvey, eventually realized with horror what she’d done and became a pro-life activist. But feminist attorney Sarah Weddington, who won the case, says the case saved women from illegal abortions and she has no regrets. It’s her right to think that. But someday, we’ll all have to stand before the highest court of all. It might be harder to convince that judge that aborting 55 million children over the past forty years was a positive achievement. In 1973, 40 years ago, liberals introduced Norma McCorvey to the world as Jane Roe, the poor victim of rape who just wanted an abortion. Problem is, she wasn't raped. Roe v Wade was brought to the Supreme Court based on a lie. In similar fashion, liberals are screaming about the gun laws claiming they need to be reformed. Many of these "caring" liberals are siting the use of an assault rifle at the mass shooting in CT. Evidence now shows that too is a lie. It's sad that liberals can't make their case based on truth and sell it to the American public.
Does ANYONE know who Norma McCorvey is? If so, why hasn't anyone ever told her true story? Does anyone know her story?? I have an interest in this because we grew up in the same small town USA. Little did I know she was the Roe!
This lady was the original plaintiff in the Roe vs. Wade landmark abortion case. She has totally repudiated her former liberal mindset, and has turned her life over to God. The other female plaintiff has also renounced the premise of a woman's right to choose. Why? How could these women do such a drastic 180 degree turn? Once you catch a glimpse of the glory of God in his creation of a living being inside the womb, you cannot callously discard that life. It is more precious that eagle eggs, snail darters, various reptiles, and other forms of life. These other creatures are considered to be more valuable than the unborn child, but Norma McCorvey has had an epiphany. Satan's lies will never ensnare her about the humanity of the unborn again.

Have you ever wondered about Ms Jane Roe from Roe v. Wade,
Reflections on 40 Years of Roe v. Wade By Jerry Newcombe 1/23/2013 On January 22, 1973, seven robed men in Washington, D. C. decreed that abortion on demand is the new law of the land in these United States. With the bang of a gavel, they nullified virtually any state law at the time restricting abortion. The high court decided Roe v. Wade without public debate, without the people's representatives getting to weigh in. And here we are, forty years later, still arguing about it. We live in what Dr. Richard Land calls “the Divided States of America.” Abortion is one of the most divisive issues. Associate Justice Byron White, appointed by John F. Kennedy, called this an act of “raw judicial power.” He could not and did not agree with Roe v. Wade and became one of only two dissenters. The other was William Rehnquist, who went on to serve as chief justice. Some lawyers agreed with the effect of the Roe decision (abortion on demand), but thought the case itself was poorly decided. Associate Justice Harr ...
The surprising life of Norma McCorvey, aka Roe from "Roe v. Wade"
I thought this was very informative and interesting...I would love to hear her testimony on how God turn her life around and is using her now: A profile in the February 2013 issue of Vanity Fair sheds light on Norma McCorvey (the "Roe") and her checkered past. McCorvey was the main plaintiff in the watershed suit. She was referred to as "Jane Roe" in court to protect her anonymity at the time. No longer perceived as a feminist icon, McCorvey is a complicated figure, sometimes hidden, oftentimes broke and currently anti-abortion. 1. The "Roe" pregnancy was McCorvey's third. Her first came when she was 17, after she'd dropped out of high school and married a man six years her senior. They later separated after he abused her. According to Vanity Fair, McCorvey was also hit regularly by her mother, Mary Sandefur, who's now 90 and suffering from dementia. 2. McCorvey granted custody of her first child, Melissa, to her mother, who says McCorvey abused drugs and alcohol and was incapable of caring for the baby. ...

I understand there are circumstances in a womans life that are difficult but what I do not understand is why abortion is now the only answer. It was the womans choice to do what makes the baby in most cases so why is it the baby has to pay for their bad choices. Have the baby give it up for adoption for some loving people to raise. In the case of rape maybe abortion could be considered but even then something great could be the result of not having an abortion. Certainly there are times a mothers life is in great jeopardy because of the baby she is carrying that is a different scenario and I trust that Doctors would do what is right for both.

Retracing the life of Jane Roe (Norma McCorvey), plaintiff in the watershed legal ruling Roe v. Wade.
(In honor to our children, with deep respect to them and with great sadness on America's 40th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade, I dedicated my column this week to this very dark day in our history.) Anniversary Of A Dark Day Newtown has reminded us how much we love our children. The Left is stripping away our rights to protect our children while women’s rights are supreme over our children’s rights. How can we forget the devastating blow to the unborn when innocence was ignored with the Supreme Court’s 7-2 ruling on Roe v. Wade back on January 22, 1973? With respect to the 50M aborted who were never given the opportunity to speak out for their rights, the very least owed is a factual discussion. Why wasn’t Jane Roe (Norma McCorvey) prosecuted for perjury when she made the false claim of having been raped and why wasn’t the Supreme Court’s decision then reversed? Roe, a 21-year-old, had become pregnant from an affair and admitted to such. With such backlog on the docket, why were the attorneys allow ...

Norma McCorvey, commonly known as "Jane Roe", has declared that she will spend her life trying to undo Roe v. Wade.
From Norma McCorvey (Jane Roe) on her decision to use abortion as birth control: "I was sitting in O.R.'s offices when I noticed a fetal development poster. The progression was so obvious, the eyes were so sweet. It hurt my heart, just looking at them. I ran outside and finally, it dawned on me. 'Norma', I said to myself, 'They're right'. I had worked with pregnant women for years. I had been through three pregnancies and deliveries myself. I should have known. Yet something in that poster made me lose my breath. I kept seeing the picture of that tiny, 10-week-old embryo, and I said to myself, that's a baby! It's as if blinders just fell off my eyes and I suddenly understood the truth — that's a baby! I felt crushed under the truth of this realization. I had to face up to the awful reality. Abortion wasn't about 'products of conception'. It wasn't about 'missed periods'. It was about children being killed in their mother's wombs. All those years I was wrong. Signing that affidavit, I was wrong. Working ...

Today is the 40 year anniversary of Roe v Wade, perhaps the most infamous Supreme Court Decision in the history of our Republic. Over my lifetime I have read, heard, and watched people squirm around this issue. I have been intimately involved beyond my desire and heartbroken by that outcome. With that said...I think I am simply describing what most anyone of adult age has dealt and will deal with in their lives or the lives of their family and friends. By far the most common statement I hear again and again when people do brave the topic is... "I am pro-life for myself, but could never make that decision for others." As a man who is firmly pro-life and could never support the taking of what could only become a child if it were allowed the normal process of time in the womb, I still must respect the individual aspect of not wanting to push personal beliefs onto others. The issue has never been confusing to me...but the emotions most certainly are. Let me say this before my final wish... Abortion is NOT HAR ...
This is quite a story. It's the story of Norma McCorvey. If that name doesn't sound familiar, I should explain that Norma was the Plaintiff, ['Roe'], in Roe Vs Wade. I should say that it's a Hot-Button issue for sure, and I believe that life is sacred, but I don't feel that repealing Roe Vs Wade makes sense. I am posting this because it's a thorny issue, and it's worth knowing Norma's story. It's a story that you will probably never hear on any major network, NPR or the NYT's or the Inquirer or MSNBC.

Planned parenthood was created by a racist who wanted to eliminate black families A majority of abortions are done on black babies

Norma McCorvey, aka Jane Roe, had already given birth and placed the baby for adoption before the three-judge Texas panel ruled against her in May of 1970, long before the Supreme Court decision in January of 1973.

If this doesn't make a statement, what will?
Sad day for America, look around you today, anywhere there is a empty space, in that empty space could have been where one of the truly innocent 53+ million babies we have aborted since January 22, 1973 when Roe v. Wade was determined.
40 Years ago today! - And the controversy continues! There are many reasons for people to express concerns about the direction our government has been leaning since 1973. During that time period there have been over 55,772,015 Abortions in... America, since Roe vs. Wade was decided on January 22, 1973. That is a staggering number, isn't it? I have posted here before on how Norma McCorvey (who never... has had an abortion, but was the ROE in Roe V Wade) who was intimately involved in the decision about abortions, now believes that abortions are wrong! Here is a brief history about her life since: AND how she recently made an ad about how she feels now: here is the current status of a movement to over turn the continuation of it's Federal Funding through your tax dollars!
55 million babies is a holocaust. It's a horrible death of dismemberment for the unborn,-at all stages of gestation, fully intact central nervous sytems, and they get no anaesthesia. Come join the March for Life. There IS HELP and hope for women in crisis pregnancies. There are so many agencies now to help women and their babies! Come join with people all across the country at our state capitols and in the streets of our nation's capitol, come join with Jane Roe(Norma McCorvey) of "Roe V. Wade"( yep, she's with us!!!) and help us make abortion unthinkable!
Exceptions? No, I don't make exceptions. As difficult as the tragic circumstances are, when we make exceptions we transform a 1-victim crime into a 2-victim crime, and lose sight of who is innocent and who is guilty. Emergency medical intervention is a rare necessity where the focus of an ethical physician is to use all resources necessary to save both lives. Such an event is not a simple elective procedure, nor should such instances be used as pseudo-justification for the other 3000+ abortions each day in the U.S.
If you haven't ever read the book "Won by Love" by Norma McCorvey, it is a great read. She was the "Roe" in the suit and she tells how everything was only a big lie and the attorneys used her to get this tragic law passed. She is now a big pro-life advocate...and she was won by a little child.

This week on Pro Life Friday Radio, we are going to be interviewing the Lawyer at the forefront of the abortion battle here in America. Alan Parker represented Norma McCorvey, when she filed to have the abortion ruling overturned at the Supreme Court level. He also represented the woman in the Doe V. Bolton case which made abortion Legal up to the day of birth in cases of medical emergencies for women. But what you all don't know is that the woman behind that case fled the state that she was in to avoid having an abortion. And she was misled by planned unparenthood lawyers who used her name anyway after she told them that she didn't want an abortion. No more playing lose with the truth. We are about to blow the lid off this issue once and for all. We will also be interviewing several post abortive women. So you all will be able to hear for yourself whether or not abortion was safe for these women. Stay tuned. link for the show will be up on Friday. God bless you all.
