Nick Kyrgios (born 1995) is an Australian tennis player who reached the final of the boys' doubles at the US Open in 2012. With Jordan Thompson he lost 5-7 6-4 10-6 to Kyle Edmund and Frederico Ferreira Silva. Samantha Sam Jane Stosur (born 30 March 1984) is an Australian professional tennis player. She won the 2011 US Open singles title and was a finalist at the 2010 French Open. 5.0/5

Tennis - Australian Open Day two was another good day for Australia, with four of the five Aussies in action posting victories. In the men's draw, Lleyton Hewitt managed a four-set win over Ze Zhang to progress to the next round. On the women's side, Casey Dellacqua and Sam Stosur posted straight sets victories, Adia Tomljanovic came from behind to beat Shelby Rogers in three sets, but Olivia Rogowska wasn't so lucky, falling in straight sets. Sean's Report 2014 French Open The second Grand Slam of the year has seen the first major upset with No. 3 seed Stan Wawrinka crashing out in the first round. The Australian Open champion lost to Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 4-6, 7-5, 2-6, 0-6 and dished up 62 unforced errors. Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer easily progressed to the second round each recording straight sets wins. On the women's side Maria Sharapova continued her great form on clay with a 6-1, 6-2 thumping over compatriot Ksenia Pervak. Defending champion Serena Williams also progressed with a win over French youngster Alize Lim. Aussie fans will be pleased as Sam Stosur won her first round clash but Ash Barty and Nick Kyrgios unfortunately bowed out. :)
