1.The Anglo-American Axis is represented, first and foremost, by the major English-speaking countires of the world: USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel. The European member nations of NATO, such as Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands are also closely aligned with the AAA as are all the Scandinavian countries. So are the Asian Pacific Rim nations of Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines. Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar also owe their allegiance to the AAA. The World Shadow Government is a secret, supranational organization which completely controls the Anglo-American Axis, as well as the European Union, NATO, among many other institutional entities which constitute the Global Control Matrix.[2] The very backbone of the Anglo-American Axis (AAA) is formed by the ‘special relationship’ that exists between the United States of America (USA) and the United Kingdom (UK). Where the USA ...

History of Halloween Halloween is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31. The word Halloween is a shortening of All Hallows' Evening also known as Hallowe'en or All Hallows' Eve. Traditional activities include trick-or-treating, bonfires, costume parties, visiting "haunted houses" and carving jack-o-lanterns. Irish and Scottish immigrants carried versions of the tradition to North America in the nineteenth century. Other western countries embraced the holiday in the late twentieth century including Ireland, the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom as well as of Australia and New Zealand. Halloween has its origins in the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain (pronounced "sah-win"). The festival of Samhain is a celebration of the end of the harvest season in Gaelic culture. Samhain was a time used by the ancient pagans to take stock of supplies and prepare for winter. The ancient Gaels believed that on October 31, the boundaries between the worlds of the living and the dea . ...

Hi Folks, .a trip down memory lane. In every association there is a person who contributes much to shoring up its establishment, such as Elsie Hydon did for CFA in the USA, Cyril Yeates and others in the UK, and in New Zealand, we had Bernice Downey. Bernice was one of our major cat breeding pioneers, not the first by any means, but certainly a power of influence connecting the British Cat Fancy to the fledgling NZGCCF. Bernice's "Lindisfarne" cattery was based in Auckland, in the suburb of Avondale (today she would be known as a "Westie"!). Her loves were Sealpoint Siamese and Blue Persians, but extended to other colours as well. In this photo we see her with her pride and joy, the English import "Ch.Spotlight Pride". And to emphasize the huge influence she had on both Siamese and Persian breeding on these shores, I have added a two page spread, advertising both her interests, showing no less than TEN importations from the United Kingdom across the respective breeds!! These cats all travelled over 12,000 ...

How Secret Partners Expand NSA’s Surveillance Dragnet documents reveal how the NSA has established secret partnerships to spy on huge flows of private data. Huge volumes of private emails, phone calls, and internet chats are being intercepted by the National Security Agency with the secret cooperation of more foreign governments than previously known, according to newly disclosed documents from whistleblower Edward Snowden. The classified files, revealed today by the Danish newspaper Dagbladet Information in a reporting collaboration with The Intercept, shed light on how the NSA’s surveillance of global communications has expanded under a clandestine program, known as RAMPART-A, that depends on the participation of a growing network of intelligence agencies. It has already been widely reported that the NSA works closely with eavesdropping agencies in the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia as part of the so-called Five Eyes surveillance alliance. But the latest Snowden documents show th ...

Hey Friends ... today is the 70th Anniversary of D-Day ... the best we can say is "THANK YOU" to the Armed Forces who gave their lives on this historic day! Here's some history for you about this day ... The 70th Anniversary of D-Day The term "D-Day" has been used for many different operations over time. But for the last 70 years, it has generally referred to the Allied landings on the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944. D-Day was a turning point in World War II, a moment when the course of the war – and of world events - depended on the Allied troops participating in this action. The majority of troops who landed in Normandy were from the United Kingdom, Canada, and the U.S. but there were also troops from many other countries including Australia, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, France, Greece, Holland, New Zealand, Norway, and Poland. That day the Allies landed about 156,000 troops in Normandy: 73,000 were American and the British and Canadian had 83,115, of whom 61,715 were British. The landings were su .. ...

targets Nazarene churches, leaders Tuesday, May 6, 2014 Global Ministry Center By NCN News Staff Church leaders were alerted recently to a sophisticated hoax that is currently targeting Nazarene pastors and churches. The scam has already been reported in the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Canada. The scam goes something like this: A person will call, text, or send an email that states they are a Nazarene district superintendent or pastor from a foreign country. They will use the name of a real Nazarene leader in that country and say they have been delayed in a foreign country because of visa problems. They claim various regional leaders they have attempted to contact are unavailable or the offices are closed. They also claim that a pastor, district superintendent, or other leader has given him the name of pastors in the area that could help by wiring money through Western Union. Aboard his new horse Balmoral Sensation, 26-year-old Johnstone rode a beautiful clear showjumping round to finish comfortably at the front of the field. In just six months, Johnstone has turned his luck around. He moved back to New Zealand from the United Kingdom, more than a little short on horsepower and wondering what would be next after a run of bad luck. But today, he won the 3*, was both first and second in a CNC1* and top 10 on his other two mounts. “I have five lovely horses now, and feel very lucky,” he said. “Six months ago I wouldn't have expected to have a team like this.” As the 3* winner he also won the inaugural Bounce Trophy – in honour of Vaughn Jefferis' superstar little horse who won gold at both the Olympics and World Champs.. Legend's whiskeys. Today focus on Cutty Sark Did you know that the brand name comes from the famous clipper Cutty Sark, which was a British sailing ship that served in the tea trade of China and New Zealand wool with the United Kingdom. Cutty Sark is also the name of a witch in a poem by Robert Burns. Cutty Sark is a blend brand that was created in 1923 by Berry Bros & Rudd, who was a trader specializing in tea, spices, wine and spirits in the eighteenth century London. Cutty Sark has long been reserved for private salons of the aristocracy London. Was then imported into the United States during Prohibition via the Bahamas to reach the American public. This boldness was more than rewarded since, the Cutty Sark whiskey is now one of whiskey favorite of American people.
Same-sex marriage (also known as *** marriage) is marriage between two people of the same biological sex and/or gender identity. Legal recognition of same-sex marriage or the possibility to perform a same-sex marriage is sometimes referred to as marriage equality or equal marriage, particularly by supporters.[1][2][3][4][5] The legalization of same-sex marriage is characterized as "redefining marriage" by many opponents.[6][7][8] The first laws in modern times enabling same-sex marriage were enacted during the first decade of the 21st century. As of 19 August 2013, fifteen countries (Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark,[nb 1] France, Iceland, Netherlands,[nb 2] New Zealand,[nb 3] Norway, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Uruguay) and several sub-national jurisdictions (parts of Mexico and the United States) allow same-sex couples to marry. A law has been passed by the Westminster Parliament in the United Kingdom, effective in England and Wales, which will be fully in force on 29 March 2014.[9 ...
Another comment from an article in the Guardian: Yes Coalition Carpetbaggers - now pay special attention to number 4 of The Quiz. I was so slain by your profound informed statement, I decided to really test your knowledge and ability. The Quiz was made during the reign of the non carpetbaggers, the previous Labor government. Simple solutions for simple folk. The Quiz made simple, for all those who only read crime boss Murdoch or faux newslite Fairfax, and think what they read and hear on commercial TV, radio and newspapers is true, here is a challenge for you! And very pertinent as Abbott has 16 of Howard’s useless bludgers on his front bench. Wait for the trolls to fail the quiz and number four and get nasty. 1. How many of these 15 countries have triple A credit ratings and stable outlook with all four major credit agencies — Standard & Poor’s, Fitch, Moody’s and Dagong? Did You Know? The three nations to have hosted the games the most number of times are Australia (5), Canada (4) and New Zealand (3). Furthermore, six editions have taken place, or will take place, in the countries within the United Kingdom (Scotland 3, England 2 and Wales 1), twice in Asia (Malaysia 1 and India 1) and only once in the Caribbean (Jamaica 1). Only two cities have held the games on multiple occasions: Auckland (1950 and 1990), and Edinburgh (1970 and 1986).

On yesterday's post we introduced how The Brotherhood, or the Illuminati, wields it's power and influence to bring about its agenda. The Bilderberg Group is only one entity put in place do the 'legwork' necessary to bring about a one world government, which is their ultimate goal. Another such group is the Trilateral Commission (TC). Often referred to as "the child of the Bilderberg Group", the TC was founded by David Rockefeller in 1973 with the stated purpose of fostering closer corporation between the US, Western Europe and Japan. As a result, the following countries are part of a "global coalition" which conducts bi-annual meetings in secrecy - never divulging what is discussed: the entire North American continent - US, Canada, Mexico; European nations - Germany, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Spain; the Pacific Asia group - Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. In fact, the TC claims that they have more tha ...

In the United Kingdom, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and other areas whose cultures were recently linked to the UK, the title Doctor generally applies in both the academic field, for those who hold doctoral-level research degrees, and the clinical field, for those who hold medical degrees and/or related professional doctorates." Registered medical practitioners" hold the degree of Bachelor of Medicine (usually also with surgery). Though they are holders of bachelor-level degrees, history has allowed the use of the title doctor by physicians, however, it is recognised that it is in essence an honorary or courtesy title.[4] Cultural conventions exist, clinicians who are or Fellows of the Royal College of Surgeons are an exception. As a homage to their predecessors, the barber surgeons, they prefer to be addressed as Mr, Mrs, Ms or Miss, even if they do hold a medical degree. When a medical doctor passes the examinations which enable them to become a fellow of one or more of the Royal Surgical College ...

In this Channel 10 breakfast program, Wake Up, 21 January 2014, presenters James Mathison and Natarsha Belling consider the increased involvement of Prince Charles in royal activities. In this segment, ''Royal Handover'', James’ and Natarsha's guest is Professor David Flint, National Convener of Australians for Constitutional Monarchy. Prof Flint explains that there has been a merger of the press officers of the sovereign and the Prince of Wales, a sensible decision he says. As to the handing over of more functions to Prince Charles, he says this will no doubt be done on a case-by-case basis. He points out The Queen will never abdicate. She is committed to her Oath and to the promise she made on her 21st birthday to serve. In a briefing to Channel 10, he confirms that the Dutch model is not applicable in the United Kingdom notwithstanding suggestions years ago by various ''royal watchers'' that this was imminent. Thus the Queen will remain Queen of Australia, Queen of Canada, Queen of New Zealand and s ...

Nauru (English Listeni/nɑːˈuːruː/ nah-oo-roo), officially the Republic of Nauru and formerly known as Pleasant Island, is an island country in Micronesia in the South Pacific. Its nearest neighbour is Banaba Island in Kiribati, 300 kilometres (186 mi) to the east. Nauru is the world's smallest republic, covering just 21 square kilometres (8.1 sq mi). With 9,378 residents, it is the second least-populated country, after Vatican City. Settled by Micronesian and Polynesian people, Nauru was annexed and claimed as a colony by the German Empire in the late 19th century. After World War I, Nauru became a League of Nations mandate administered by Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. During World War II, Nauru was occupied by Japanese troops, who were bypassed by the Allied advance across the Pacific. After the war ended, the country entered into trusteeship again. Boxing Day is traditionally the day following Christmas Day, when servants and tradesmen would receive gifts, known as a "Christmas box", from their bosses[1] or employers. Today, Boxing Day is the bank holiday that generally takes place on 26 December. It is observed in the United Kingdom, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Kenya, South Africa, Trinidad And Tobago and other Commonwealth nations. So come on down for some fun & beer!
In the United Kingdom, it is traditional for the Premier League (England and Wales), Scottish Premier League (Scotland) and Irish Premier League (Northern Ireland), as well as the lower divisions and rugby leagues, to hold a full programme of football and rugby league matches on Boxing Day. Traditionally, matches on Boxing Day are played against local rivals. This was originally to avoid teams and their fans having to travel a long distance to an away game on the day after Christmas Day. It also makes the day an important one in the sporting calendar. In Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, much anticipated Test matches are played on Boxing Day. Prior to the formation of leagues, a number of important rugby fixtures took place on Boxing Day notably Llanelli v London Welsh and Leicester v The Barbarians.. -Wikipedia

The United States has a "special relationship" with the United Kingdom[252] and strong ties with Canada,[253] Australia,[254] New Zealand,[255] the Philippines,[256] Japan,[257] South Korea,[258] Israel,[259] and several European countries such as France and Germany. It works closely with fellow NATO members on military and security issues and with its neighbors through the Organization of American States and free trade agreements such as the trilateral North American Free Trade Agreement with Canada and Mexico. In 2008, the United States spent a net $25.4 billion on official development assistance, the most in the world. As a share of America's large gross national income (GNI), however, the U.S. contribution of 0.18% ranked last among 22 donor states. By contrast, private overseas giving by Americans is relatively generous.[260]

Buy Nothing Day was founded in Vancouver by artist Ted Dave] and subsequently promoted by Adbusters magazine, based in Canada. In 1997, it was moved to the Friday after American Thanksgiving, also called "Black Friday", which is one of the ten busiest shopping days in the United States. Possums are controlled through a combination of trapping, ground-baiting and, where other methods are impractical, aerial treament with 1080 poison.[32]IBM 91P9252 CPU Fan From 1979–1984, possum control was stopped due to lack of funding. In spite of regular and frequent TB testing of cattle herds, the number of infected herds snowballed and continued to increase until 1994.[33] The area of New Zealand where there were TB wild animals expanded from about 10 to 40 per cent. Antarctica is the coldest, driest, windiest, and most isolated continent on Earth. The extreme climate limits the presence and activities of humans in Antarctica. The persistent cold (even during the austral summer), the limited precipitation (which qualifies much of the continent as frozen desert), the frequent overcast skies, the severe winds, and the succession of storms over the ocean and coastal areas help explain why Antarctica is the only continent that has never had a native human population Although seven countries (Argentina, Australia, Chile, France, New Zealand, Norway, and the United Kingdom) maintain claims to territory in Antarctica, the United States and most other countries do not recognize those claims. Governance of the continent is managed through the Antarctic Treaty (signed in Washington, DC, in 1959) and its associated instruments, such as the Protocol on Environmental Protection to the Antarctic Treaty. The continent is reserved for peaceful purposes and science, and most of those ...
Solicitor From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Not to be confused with Solicitor General (disambiguation) or Door-to-door salesperson in American English. A solicitor is a lawyer who traditionally deals with any legal matter including conducting proceedings in court. In the United Kingdom, a few Australian states, Hong Kong, South Africa (where they are called attorneys) and the Republic of Ireland, the legal profession is split between solicitors and barristers (called advocates in some countries), and a lawyer will usually only hold one of the two titles. However, in Canada, New Zealand and most Australian states, the legal profession is now for practical purposes "fused", allowing lawyers to hold the title of "barrister and solicitor" and practise as both. The distinction between barristers and solicitors is, however, retained. Some legal graduates will start off as one and then decide to become the other.[1] Contents [hide] 1 England and Wales 1.1 Regulatory scheme 1.2 Training and qualifications 1. ...

Brown recorded the song for his pop audience as he had been doing a lot of mixtapes and urban records. "Yeah 3x" is an uptempo dance-pop, Europop, and electro-house song; it uses a video game-type beat and features a thick bassline and big synth chords. The song contains a musical sample from Calvin Harris' 2009 single "I'm Not Alone". Critical reception towards the song was positive, with critics praising its production and lyrics. Other critics noted its similarities to Brown's 2008 single "Forever". It surprises me that Commonwealth Leaders like Stephen Harper, of Canada, and David Cameron, of the United Kingdom, Manmohan Singh, of India, and John Key, of New Zealand, can be critical of the human rights record of Sri Lanka which has just come out of a bloody civil war, when they are either fighting civil wars (Kashmir in India) without adhering to human rights; or actively supporting the actions and war crimes being perpetrated by the United States in Afghanistan, Iraq and the rest of the Middle East, including the Commonwealth's Pakistan; or actively supporting the Zionist Nazis in committing war crimes and genocide against the Palestinian people. Or is it fact, that these leaders, like the US President are criminal hypocrites who deserve to stand in the dock with war criminals like Obama and Netanyahu.

Maori tribe in New Zealand The Māori are the indigenous Polynesian people of New Zealand. The Māori originated with settlers from eastern Polynesia, who arrived in New Zealand in several waves of canoe voyages at some time between 1250 and 1300 CE. Over several centuries in isolation, the Polynesian settlers developed a unique culture that became known as the "Māori", with their own language, a rich mythology, distinctive crafts and performing arts. Early Māori formed tribal groups, based on eastern Polynesian social customs and organisation. Horticulture flourished using plants they introduced, and later a prominent warrior culture emerged. The arrival of Europeans to New Zealand starting from the 17th century brought enormous change to the Māori way of life. Māori people gradually adopted many aspects of Western society and culture. Initial relations between Māori and Europeans were largely amicable, and with the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi in 1840 the two cultures coexisted as part of a ne ...

After all the momentum and hype the Toyota Tour de OROC has been completed and it was a raging success. Initially, I had two objectives with this event. Firstly, I wanted to raise $100,000 towards the patient accommodation unit at the Dubbo Base Hospital. We achieved well over that target, with a net result of more than $140,000 (donations are still coming in so we don’t have a final figure yet). Secondly, I wanted to demonstrate just how large an area the Dubbo Base Hospital services. With the shortest possible distance through the region encompassing 1,125km of bitumen, we certainly demonstrated the size of the area. In fact, if OROC was a country, it would rank at number 89 in world land mass size ahead of countries such as Syria, Bangladesh, and Ireland and not much smaller than the United Kingdom and New Zealand. Something the Tour de OROC also demonstrated – which I hadn’t initially planned – was the symbiotic relationship between Dubbo and OROC. The support from every town as we rode throug ...

Nigeria’s arrested development Four decades and 13 years ago, Nigeria obtained paper independence from the United Kingdom. Even though the independence was some sort of fluke, men of goodwill still had great expectations. Generous observers compared the prospects of Nigeria to nations such as Australia and New Zealand. They thought Nigeria would likely surpass then work-in-progress nations such as India, Malaysia, Singapore, and other Asian Tigers. With a liberal inventory of primary goods such as cocoa, palm oil, groundnut and hide and skin, which were in high demand by the industrial nations on both the East and West blocs of the Cold War, Nigeria looked well on its way to taking its rightful place in the comity of developed nations. The brimming enthusiasm of the white-men-in-black-skin who replaced the retreating colonial bureaucrats was palpable. While receiving visiting Prime Minister Abubakar Tafawa Balewa to Washington, D.C., in July 1961, the American Vice-President, Lyndon B. Johnson, observe ...

Towards Effective Technology Education in New Zealand Maxwell S. Reid Introduction New Zealand is a small former British colony in the South Pacific with a population of 3.9 million people. The small economy of the country is heavily dependent on overseas trade. Historically, a large proportion of New Zealand’s exports, mainly agricultural products, went to the United Kingdom. In the past 20 years, however, New Zealand has had to adapt to a changing world, so that now our largest exports are to Australia, Japan, the United States, and China. New Zealand has, of necessity, moved away from its dependence on dairy, meat and wool exports, as the new industries of forestry, horticulture, fishing, manufacturing and tourism have become more significant (Department of Statistics, 1999). These changes, together with the huge advances in the associated technology, have created dramatic changes to our economy, and consequently, the fabric of New Zealand society. There has been an increasing awareness of the delica ...

4th July 2013 BADGERS ARE A DROP IN AN OCEAN OF BOVINE TB MUDDLE   Two significant news releases issued yesterday (July 4th) by the Department for the Environment Food and Rural Affairs and the National Farmers Union contain a series of equivocations and unsupportable assertions.  They also complain of the ruinous effect of slaughtering TB cattle without acknowledging that ten times as many animals are killed because of other diseases.   The Defra statement: said: “. . . bovine TB (bTB) was once a disease isolated to small pockets of the country”.   Wrong.  The disease was once extremely widespread across the United Kingdom just before and after World War II.  A radical programme to eradicate bTB infected cattle brought it down from an estimated 47,000 before the war to about 1,000 by 1970 without killing badgers.  It remained about this level for 20 years and throughout these decades any “wildlife reservoir” had no effect.  Then, from 1990 onwards progressive relaxations of cattle restric ...
The Queensland Air Museum has secured the remains of an iconic Australian airliner, BCPA Douglas DC-6 VH-PBG. The aircraft has been donated to QAM by Lanseria International Airport, where it is located on the fire dump there. We are now faced with the daunting prospect of returning it from South Africa to Australia. We feel it is important to attempt this task as no examples of this once great airliner exist in Australia and to also commemorate British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines (BCPA). BCPA was a short lived airline established in 1946 with the shareholders being the governments of Australia (50%), New Zealand (30%) and the United Kingdom (20%). It operated trans-Pacific services from Australia and New Zealand to San Francisco firstly with DC-4s before moving to DC-6s. BCPA was wound up in 1954 with Qantas taking over the services. If you feel you might be able to assist in the recovery in some way, please contact the museum by sending an email to dc-6 You can read more about the aircraft and the airl ...
Obamacare won't implement for another year. The GOP is crowing about this, saying the health care system doesn't need fixing. The facts suggest otherwise, to wit: "When the Commonwealth Fund rated health care systems by nation, the top marks in the surveyed categories went to the United Kingdom, New Zealand and the Netherlands. Ezra Klein examined the study, and observed: "The issue isn't just that we don't have universal health care. Our delivery system underperforms, too. 'Even when access and equity measures are not considered, the U.S. ranks behind most of the other countries on most measures. With the inclusion of primary care physician survey data in the analysis, it is apparent that the U.S. is lagging in adoption of national policies that promote primary care, quality improvement, and information technology.'"

A pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves promising participants payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public.[1][2] Various forms of pyramid schemes are illegal in many countries including Albania, Australia,[3][4] Austria,[5] Brazil, Canada, China,[6] Colombia,[7] Denmark, the Dominican Republic,[8] Estonia,[9] France, Germany, Hong Kong,[10] Hungary, Iceland, Iran,[11] Italy,[12] Japan,[13] Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, the Netherlands,[14] New Zealand,[15] Norway,[16] the Philippines,[17] Poland, Portugal, Romania,[18] Russian Federation, South Africa,[19] Spain, Sri Lanka,[20] Sweden,[21] Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand,[22] Turkey,[23] the United Kingdom, and the United States.[24] These types of schemes have existed for at least a century, some with variations to hide their true nature, and because of this, many people believe that all multilevel marketing plans ar ...

The Crow Valley Bombing and Gunnery Range (IATA: RPXC) or CROW VALLEY. Crow Valley Gunnery Range, and presently Tarlac Military Testing Ground, was the main bombing range of the United States Armed Forces in the western Pacific, and currently by the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Crow Valley is located in Camp O'Donnell in Tarlac, The Philippines. The 42-mile facility is located approximately 14 miles from Clark Air Base and is primarily used for aerial combat training, which include bombing and strafing practice, as well as ground unit maneuver and live fire exercises.[1] Crow Valley was a component facility of Clark Air Base during the American presence in the Philippines. The facility was used extensively by the US 13th Air Force. It came to prominence during Cope Thunder exercises by forces from the Philippines, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand and the Republic of Singapore during the 1970s. ..Seven years ago, the World Health Organization made the first major effort to rank the health systems of 191 nations. France and Italy took the top two spots; the United States was a dismal 37th. More recently, the highly regarded Commonwealth Fund has pioneered in comparing the United States with other advanced nations through surveys of patients and doctors and analysis of other data. Its latest report, issued in May, ranked the United States last or next-to-last compared with five other nations — Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand and the United Kingdom — on most measures of performance, including quality of care and access to it. Other comparative studies also put the United States in a relatively bad light.

American English or New Zealand English, Canadian English, English English or Australian English. Whichever version you learn you'll find that the biggest difference is in the accent. There are no dialects in English as there are in many other languages, there are on the other hand plenty of slang words. Slang words can sometimes be found in dictionaries, it depends how often and by how many people they are used. Accents vary from place to place, you will easily recognise the strongest examples others will be more suttle. Countries such as Wales, Scotland and Ireland still use their own language and as such their accents are very thick. Bordering towns in England will naturally have strong accents as these towns would have once been used as market places and centers of commerce and as such the local population will be mixed between native English and neighboring countries. Today the United Kingdom, made up of 4 countries, England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, speaks English as their predominant language.

Breaking down SA's bowling unit By Zaahier Adams Cape Town – The last time the Proteas competed in a major ICC 50-overs tournament, the bowlers took all 10 opposition wickets in every one of the six World Cup group matches in 2011. In the seventh match, they took eight, and lost. Can the blame then be laid at the bowlers’ door for South Africa’s shock quarter-final exit at cricket’s showpiece event? That would be grossly unfair, especially taking into account that the Proteas crashed to 172 all out in pursuit of a meagre New Zealand total of 221/8. South Africa’s bowling is their main strength, and remains so, especially with the majority of that attack still available two years later for the upcoming Champions Trophy in the United Kingdom. The conditions will, of course, be in complete contrast in Cardiff – where South Africa open the tournament against world champions India next Thursday – than what they encountered in Dhaka, Mumbai, Delhi and Nagpur then. Intense heat and humidity, accomp ...

i have written this post earlier but repeat it because i like that post very much. In 1983 when Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) was hosted by us, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth declared that she will honour Mother Teresa with Knighthood in the Durbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan. Unlike Australia & New Zealand, we are a republic nation and no other person except our own president can organise such a function in Rashtrapati Bhavan. Late Indira Gandhi was our PM at that time. She asked our then Foreign Secretary K Natwar Singh to resolve the issue but in vain. Then She wrote a letter to then British PM Margaret Thatcher which read "Her Majesty can very well knight Mother Teresa in Rashtrapati Bhavan. But we have adopted parliamentary model of democracy from United Kingdom and I do not wish that Her Majesty's reference comes in Indian Parliament". Immediately the function was cancelled and instead a tea party was organised by the Queen. Happy Women's Day to everyone belonging to this great natio ...

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was initiated by the late President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his final resting place is located on the grounds. The mosque is the key place of worship for Friday gathering and Eid prayers. Neville Meade (12 September 1948 – 13 March 2010) was a Jamaica-born boxer who emigrated to the United Kingdom settling in Swansea in south Wales. He rose to prominence when he won the gold medal in the heavyweight division at the 1974 Commonwealth Games in New Zealand. He turned professional in 1974 and won the Welsh Heavyweight title in 1976 and then followed this with the British title in 1981. He retired in 1983 after a failed defence of his British title. Meade was known for his big-hitting style of fighting with very few of his bouts going the distance. Of his 20 professional wins, 18 came via knockout. Despite this ability, Meade lacked motivation in training and during the middle of his career, with his weight reaching above 17 stone, he suffered a lack of form that saw him lose seven out of nine fights. He took on a new trainer, Jimmy Bromfield, in 1979 and this saw a change in his fortune which led to Meade taking the British Heavyweight title. Boxing career Amateur career Jamaica born Meade e ...
Pope Benedict, well, he is under a little pressure. Not only because of his advancing years, but there appears to be more than a whiff of fin de siècle decay in the air over the global pandemic of priestly paedophilia: the disease has gone viral. The Independent refers to 'the lonely reign of Benedict XVI' as he is 'plagued by scandal upon scandal'. Following hard upon the litany of appalling revelations emerging out of Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines, Richard Owen in The Times says the Roman Catholic Church has now 'been accused of a cover-up after at least 170 allegations of child abuse by German Catholic priests’. This is evidently not just a little local difficulty. Ruth Gledhill follows this with the observation that the latest revelations from Germany coming ‘on top of a succession of damaging revelations… can only inc ...

Heavenly Sword Heavenly Sword is a video game developed by Ninja Theory exclusively for the PlayStation 3 console and published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. The game was released on September 12, 2007 in North America and Japan; September 14, 2007 in the United Kingdom and Ireland; September 20, 2007 in Australia, New Zealand and Europe; and November 15, 2007 elsewhere the rest of world. Gameplay The gameplay of Heavenly Sword resembles a martial arts title focused on melee combat while featuring opportunities for ranged attacks. The main character, Nariko, uses a weapon called the "Heavenly Sword" which changes into one of three forms depending on what attack stance the player uses as part of a unique fighting style. Speed Stance provides an even balance between damage and speed, where the sword takes the form of two separate blades. Range Stance allows fast, long-range, but weaker attacks, with the sword being two blades chained together. Power Stance is the most powerful, but slowest style, w ...
Dear Pastor Khong,   I wrestled at length how to reply to your statement. I believe you spoke out from your own firm beliefs, and I respect your right to those beliefs and your right to speak up, even though I do not agree with you.   I want to point out several things you have brought up that need to be clarified. You are misrepresenting the truth.   You stated that "examples from around the world ...have shown that the repeal of similar laws have led to negative social changes, especially the breakdown of the family as a basic building block and foundation of society." Can you give me an example? And what do you mean by the breakdown of the family? Higher divorce rates? You see, you are repeating the rhetoric of the Christian Right in America. England, where we inherited Section 377A from, repealed their version of the law in 1967. I do not see the United Kingdom falling apart. The United States of America eliminated their laws in 2003. Australia, Fiji, Hong Kong, New Zealand and India inherited the ...

Bell pepper, also known as sweet pepper or a pepper (in the United Kingdom) and capsicum (in India, Australia and New Zealand), is a cultivar group of the species Capsicum annuum. Cultivars of the plant produce fruits in different colors, including red, yellow, orange and green. Bell peppers are sometimes grouped with less pungent pepper varieties as "sweet peppers". Peppers are native to Mexico, Central America and northern South America. Pepper seeds were later carried to Spain in 1493 and from there spread to other European, African and Asian countries. Today, China is the world's largest pepper producer, followed by Mexico.

The Season of Giving Charities have had a rough time during the aftermath of the Great Recession, and many continue to struggle against the tide of slow wage and income growth. The Nonprofit Research Collaborative reports that 46% of charitable organizations saw an increase in giving during the first half of 2012 compared with the same period in 2011. One-quarter said giving remained about the same, and 29% reported drops in total funds raised. These results were similar to the same survey conducted in mid-2011. The Blackbaud Index reported that giving rose modestly in the first seven months of 2012 but then turned negative in August, September and October. Blackbaud attributed this to the unsettled economy and the vagaries of election season. Nevertheless, Americans are generous by nature, ranking fifth on the World Giving Index published by the Charities Aid Foundation. The U.S. ranks behind Australia, Ireland, Canada and New Zealand and just ahead of the Netherlands, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Para ...

What is MBBS? Narcotics Anonymous sprang from the Alcoholics Anonymous Program of the late 1940s, with meetings first emerging in the Los Angeles area of California, USA, in the early Fifties. The NA program started as a small US movement that has grown into one of the world's oldest and largest organizations of its type. For many years, NA grew very slowly, spreading from Los Angeles to other major North American cities and Australia in the early 1970s. In 1983, Narcotics Anonymous published its self-titled Basic Text book, which contributed to tremendous growth. Within a few years, groups had formed in Brazil, Colombia, Germany, India, the Irish Republic, Japan, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. Today, Narcotics Anonymous is well established throughout much of the Americas, Western Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Newly formed groups and NA communities are now scattered throughout the Indian subcontinent, Africa, East Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. Narcotics Anonymous books and information pamphlets ...

"we have Go1Den Tickets being released in Israel, Argentina, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, India, Hungary and New Zealand!!"
By Matthew Ehret-Kump With the recent announcement by UK and Canadian foreign Ministers this week that many of the embassies of both countries shall be melded into single missions, Canadian based British agent and media mogul Conrad Black, unable to control his enthusiasm, has voiced a revealing op-ed in the right wing mouthpiece The National Post. The title of the op-ed reads: "The British Commonwealth Will RiseAgain". After re-writing history by making FDR appear to be an imperialist, and asserting that China's “new imperialism” is meeting resistance with all of its neighbors, and predicting the breakup of Europe into two teams (winner and loser countries), Black writes: "There will be regional powers like Brazil and Turkey, but the only other coherent force that could arise and occupy a role somewhat analogous to a great power of old would be some cohesive bloc of Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, India, New Zealand, Singapore and perhaps a few other Commonwealth countries. The talented Austra ...

On YouTube, there is a place where you can see where the people have been viewing your videos. according to this, I have 2370 views which is low by youtube accounts. but the where is incredible. In order from most to least my videos have been viewed in: United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, Turkey, Ireland, Italy Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Netherlands, Israel, Denmark, France, Tunisia, Sweden, New Zealand, Vietnam, Greece, Austria, Serbia, Switzerland, Norway, Poland, Philippines, South Africa, Japan, Egypt, Taiwan, Romania, Qatar, Portugal, Armenia, Thailand, Bulgaria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Singapore, Slovakia, Columbia, Mecedonia, Hungary, Indonesia, and India. Not a bad spread for only 2370 views. I don't know why I think that's amazing. I know the internet does this, but it has me in awe when I see the list of people that have heard my songs. It makes me proud to be a singer/songwriter.
