Nicki Minaj Onika Tanya Maraj was born in Saint James, a suburb of Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago, on December 8, 1982, to parents Carol and Robert Maraj. She is of mixed Indian and Afro-Trinidadian ancestry and has three siblings. Minaj's mother held numerous jobs, including an accounting clerk, a foreign exchange teller, and a gospel singer. Her father worked for American Express, suffered from alcohol and drug addictions, and once attempted to kill her mother by setting their house on fire. Until she was five years old, Minaj lived with her grandmother in Saint James, and was occasionally visited by her mother. She and her mother later moved to the Queens borough of New York City. Minaj stated that her upbringing lacked discipline, and caused her to "seek out and practice self discipline". London’s Martin Sorrell, after helping the Saatchis, bought Ogilvy & Mather and J Walter Thompson:) and combined their media operations. To be with those boss media-buying bargainers in New York City in the early morning at the next upfront TV marketplace and Sprint a JWT client and IBM an O&M client wanted a deal with a network to close:( but Ford a JWT client and American Express an O&M client didn’t want it to happen. They called it:) where the rubber hits the road. Through the 1990S, stand-alone media-buying corporations consolidated huge budgets and resistance began to fade in America. Both Advertising and Marketers realized that the U.S. media corporations should include the planners. What remained of Advertising [wouldn’t you know it, only the fear remained] was 5 Corporations that owned advertising-networks, regional Advertising, creative boutiques, public-relations agencies, promotion shops and branding companies. The 1990s saw a warrior struggle for control of media buying:) New York [Omni ...

arly history American Express Co. shipping receipt, New York City to St. Louis, MO (August 6, 1853) American Express was started as an express mail business in Albany, New York, in 1850.[10] It was founded as a joint stock corporation by the merger of the express companies owned by Henry Wells (Wells & Company), William Fargo (Livingston, Fargo & Company), and John Warren Butterfield (Wells, Butterfield & Company, the successor earlier in 1850 of Butterfield, Wasson & Company).[1][2] The same founders also started Wells Fargo & Co. in 1852 when Butterfield and other directors objected to the proposal that American Express extend its operations to California. For years it enjoyed a virtual monopoly on the movement of express shipments (goods, securities, currency, etc.) throughout New York State. In 1874, American Express moved its ...
