Lambert "Bert" Millholland Macy Lambert "Bert" Millholland Macy, age 66, of Lawson, Mo., born February 11, 1948 in Newburg, N.Y., died November 28, 2014. He was survived by his wife, Stacy A. Macy (formerly Stacy M. Andreas); his children, Elizabeth Rogers of Stamford, Conn., Lambert Allan Macy of Denver, Colo., Barbara Metallo of San Diego, Calif., and stepson, Christopher Andreas Wilkinson of Lawson, Mo.; grandchildren Catherine, Keira and Anna Rogers, and Cecelia and Gregory Metallo; brother to E. Herbert Macy, James Macy, and Virginia Renschen. Lambert Millholland Macy attended the University of Texas and graduated with a degree in Geology. He received his MBA from Houston Baptist University. He was drafted and served honorably in the Vietnam War, where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, two Overseas Bars, Republic of Vietnam Commendation Medal, Bronze Star, and Army Commendation Medal. Another Legionnaire has passed. David Burton Holobaugh, 70, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013. David was a decorated Vietnam Veteran of the U. S. Army and received such honors as the Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device 60, Air Medal with 34 Oak Leaf Clusters, a Ranger Tab, and Army Aviator Badge for his service during the war. He was a U. S. Army pilot and Ranger who selflessly volunteered to serve in Vietnam after graduating from Rose Polytechnic Institute where he was involved in ROTC. It is with a deeply saddened heart that I must announce that the State of Tennessee is in mourning as we have lost another hero. Chief Larry T. Symons, Sr. passed away while living in Hawaii, and has been transported back to the Knoxville/Maryville area to be buried here in East Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery – John Sevier. The family has asked that the Patriot Guard Riders be in attendance and help the family show honor to their fallen hero. It will be our honor to do so.
