Nathan Dunlap & Governor Hickenlooper
Bourke Blakemore Hickenlooper (July 21, 1896 – September 4, 1971) was a Republican politician from the US state of Iowa./5
Great. Governor Hickenlooper is threatening Colorado by saying if he loses in November he'll release serial killer Nathan Dunlap.
In an interview with Mike Rosen on 850KOA yesterday Governor Hickenlooper took a lot of heat from callers over his cowardly decision to grant a temporary reprieve to cold-blooded killer Nathan Dunlap. He also made clear in a number of statements that he doesn't know jack about the death pena
Governor Hickenlooper gives convicted killer Nathan Dunlap a reprieve. Now the next Governor will have to decide if he lives or dies. What do you think of this decision/indecision?
My gawd. What an absolutely worthless, gutless governor Hickenlooper has turned out to be. "It has forced me to think of the issue in a personal way because it is on my conscience the decision will weigh," he says. YOUR conscience? YOUR decision? Nathan Dunlap showed just how little conscience he had when he gunned down five people in cold blood. The men and women on a jury of his peers made the decision he should die for these crimes, as has been affirmed by numerous courts since then. Governor Hickenlooper, I could not give a rat's a$$ about YOUR conscience. Rather than take a stand, a stand on the side of justice, you chickened out. It is time for you and those of your ilk to go. Period.
What do you think about this quote that Governor Hickenlooper said a few moments ago: "I think part of the question was, around this case but also around the death penalty, is it just and moral to make a decision to take this person's life? Is it of benefit to the world?" He was speaking about his decision to grant a reprieve to convicted killer Nathan Dunlap.
Governor Hickenlooper is a coward. Rather than making a decision on whether to grant clemency to Chuck E. Cheese mass murderer Nathan Dunlap, Hickenlooper instead chose to issue an executive order for an "indefinite stay" of his execution. In typical Hickenlooper fashion, he chose not t
I am greatly disappointed in Governor Hickenlooper's decision to further delay justice for the victims and family members of those brutally murdered by Nathan Dunlap. Being governor comes with the responsibility to make the tough decisions. Governor Hickenlooper should respect the decision of the jury who thoughtfully deliberated this issue.
Chuck E. Cheese killer Nathan Dunlap may have a few more months before his scheduled execution in August, but sources tell Colorado Peak Politics that a decision on whether or not to commute his sentence is likely coming much sooner than that. Governor Hickenlooper has been publicly weighing whet
A local couple is part of the effort to convince Governor Hickenlooper to spare the life of a man on death row for murdering four people in Aurora in 1993. Nathan Dunlap was convicted of shooting five people at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant in Aurora. Marge Kohlberg, Sylvia Crowell, Ben Grant and Col...
