President with his father Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. Happy Birthday (Just a 'normal' kid living in State House)
Three Presidents of Kenya. When Uhuru Kenyatta was born, his dad,the First President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta never thought his son could one day climb political ladder & became President.During Kenyatta's death in 1978,his son now President was still a teenager,17 years old. Before the First President died,he left his successor Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi who was then his Vice President with one major condition;"hold my son's hand(s) to State House when you retire." Moi ruled Kenya in the next 24 years later and when Kenyans went blutant with his leadership,he surprisingly endorsed Uhuru Kenyatta for Presidency in 2002.At that time Uhuru was only 38 years old and when elections were held later that year,3rd President,Mwai Kibaki won landslidely on a Narc Ticket by garnering 6m votes against 3m of Kenyatta.Kibaki's win got boost from Rt.Hon Raila Odinga who rallied "Kibaki Tosha" as he was on a wheel chair @ that time.UK is now Kenya's 4th President, three & half decades later after his father's death#
How about another Jomo Kenyatta? Not letting opportunity pass, the death of Gatundu South MP – who took over from President Uhuru – has opened up another opportunity for another Jomo Kenyatta to get into the national political limelight. A source near State House informed a local blog site that President Uhuru’s eldest son, Jomo Kenyatta, whose friends often just call Mo’ Kenyatta, has already been earmarked byThe National Alliance party to replace the late Jossy Ngugi who passed on yesterday. The entry of Jomo III may mark another road to the presidency by a filial of the founding President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. This may seem far fetched but the rise of President Uhuru kenyatta from political obscurity just a decade to the presidency adds credence to it, nor is the Kenyatta family so naive to stay away from power – they have everything to lose if the do so, and, on the other hand, everything to gain both for the family and the populous Kikuyu community. Jomo III will start relatively ahead of ...

I have historical evidence that Uhuru Kenyatta was not born in State House as many people claim. His mother conceived him in Maralal where she had gone to join Mzee and that was two years before we achieved independence. Mzee was living in a bungalow from 1959 awaiting release which was being championed by Oginga Odinga. Jomo was not in Sate House by then and you can't cheat me that the gestation period of Mama Ngina lasted for more than two years to enable Uhuru be born in Sate House!
What is this about willing buyer - willing seller defense for Uhuru? Jomo Kenyatta was penniless when he walked out of jail and into State House - and within a few years owned hundreds of thousands of acres. Who's naive enough to propose that this land was acquired above board? And the leaving colonialists from whom Kenyatta fraudulently acquired land from had grabbed it from their owners in the first place, so there's no willing seller since a thief cannot be recognized as a legitimate seller of stolen property. Address this historical injustice first then we can talk about willing buyer - willing seller.
A lot shall be written about President Kibaki and his State House. As student of Kenya politics I can almost see the upcoming chapters glide by my eyes. There will be chapters about the man who they say adopted a hands-off approach, and reduced the presence of government in our lives. This is a far cry from Kanu under both Mzee Jomo Kenyatta Moi and Mzee Daniel Moi, where the president’s diary was national news.
