It's ironic that there's a time Oginga Odinga and Mzee Jomo Kenyatta owned a joined bank account.
Dedan Kimathi, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta,Tom Mboya, Oginga Odinga, Mekatilili wa Menza, Koitelel arap samoie, Paul ngei, J M Kariuki Daniel Arap Moi. .they fought for the unity of kenya, our great nation. It's time this generation stop hating and hitting on each other in the name of tribalism and unhealthy politics . Lets take care of this great nation. One nation under God!
As people celebrate Kenya at 50, my heart goes out to the late oginga Odinga, Tom Mboya, Bildad kagia, Dedan Kimathi, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, and full list of the kapengurias. Regards to. Prime minister Raila Odinga, president Mwai kibaki [for vast economical growth, educational investment,,health facilities development during their grand coalition ].,late George saitoti, Orwa ojode, hon. Mutula Kilozo, Wamalwa Kijana and those who died for the sake of Kenya. Kenya. Happy 50th birthday my nation.
According to that NTV documentary, there were only two groups who stood to benefit from the Tom Mboya assassination; KANU politicians who wanted to succeed Mzee Jomo Kenyatta and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga and his supporters, Kenyatta himself had everything to loose and nothing to gain from the killing. The two groups were involved in a cut throat race to influence who would succeed the old man who as Koigi wa Wamwere said, was so old and sickly that it was obvious he wouldn't last long, the question was when. As to who between the two groups eliminated Tom, your guess is as good as mine!
When Mzee Jomo Kenyatta was coming to power Oginga Odinga brought him from jail and he became president. Now Uhuru Kenyatta is going back to jail to replace his father as Raila Odinga is taking over the seat.History repeats itself, people do you notice this fact?
Sum x history repeat itself.Uhuru Kenyatta son of the late president of Kenya, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta has just been declared president.ironically Raila Odinga, son of late opposition leader, Oginga Odinga has just lost the election.i.e. he becomes an opposition leader like his father.ozungu sodaname kuti .'like father like son'.or we can say like fathers like sons.
I have historical evidence that Uhuru Kenyatta was not born in State House as many people claim. His mother conceived him in Maralal where she had gone to join Mzee and that was two years before we achieved independence. Mzee was living in a bungalow from 1959 awaiting release which was being championed by Oginga Odinga. Jomo was not in Sate House by then and you can't cheat me that the gestation period of Mama Ngina lasted for more than two years to enable Uhuru be born in Sate House!
What Mzee Jomo Kenyatta and Oginga Odinga started, and will stop.
Happy mashujaa day!! I wonder tho whether we have any politician in Kenya at the moment who will ever be a part of that club of mashujaa. But let's remember heroes that have made Kenya proud like Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, Oginga Odinga, Kipchoge Keino, Paul Targat, John Ngugi, Wangira Napunyi, Wangari Maathai, Conjestina, Muso Otieno, Wamalwa Kijana, Samuel Rugo and David Rudisha!!!
