Morning Joe & Mitt Romney

Morning Joe is a weekday morning talk show on MSNBC, with Joe Scarborough discussing the news of the day in a panel format with co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist. Stupidest thing said on Morning Joe (OK-other than that): "Get somebody non-political in there to run the VA, like Colin Powell or Mitt Romney." Joe Scarborough.
A week ago, Mitt Romney paid a visit to Billy Graham at his home in Montreat, just outside Asheville, NC. Also present at that meeting was Graham's son, Franklin, who now heads up Billy Graham's ministry. During that meeting, Romney and the Grahams prayed together and then Billy Graham told Mitt Romney that he would do whatever was needed to help Mitt Romney win the Presidency. As result of that meeting and Dr. Graham's endorsement of Mitt Romney, we witnessed a great example of the type of hypocrisy that seems to go hand in hand with evangelicals. Follow me over the fold for more. In February of this year before the Republican Party had chosen Mitt Romney to run under their banner, Franklin Graham appeared on Morning Joe and assessed the religiosity of the various candidates. In that conversation, Franklin Graham said that Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich were definitely Christian, but that Mormons such as Mitt Romney were not. He also would not say whether he believed Romney is a Christian. "Most C ...
In an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Mitt Romney said he'd decided to support a minimum wage hike because the Republican Party “is all about more jobs and better pay.” "I also believe the key for our party is to be able to convince the people who are in the working population, particularly in the Hispanic community, that our party will help them get better jobs and better wages." ... So "President Romney" would have evolved on this and what else?
In a wide-ranging interview with Morning Joe on Thursday, former presidential Candidate Mitt Romney said, "I, for instance, as you know, part company with many of the conservatives in my party on the issue of the minimum wage."
Mitt Romney tells Raise the minimum wage!
*** it. I set my alarm last night. I forgot it was reset for my trip to Sacto. 4am. So my first thought is, "Oh, Morning Joe is on." I used to watch it when I actually did wake up at 4am. They were interviewing Mitt Romney. My stomach started to churn. I felt my blood pressure rise. Then I realized I don't HAVE to do this anymore. With the floodgates open for tons of big money in politics, the 1% owning something like 70%, (Don't remember exact but its sickening.) of our Country's money, the Partisan Politics on both sides. The sickening reality of racism in this country. Yes, in politics too, I won't mention President "Blackenstein" Bill Maher's term, by name. Anyway, I've said too much. Thank God I.D.G.A.F. anymore.
Mitt Romney just said on Morning Joe on MSNBC, that he's going to go through his neighborhood and pick lilacs for his wife for Mother's Day. *** Mitt, you can't spring for lilacs for your wife for Mother's Day, you have to steal your neighbors'? Not only are you a sore loser, you're cheap too! That's how the rich get richer, they keep their money to themselves -- no trickle-down effect here.
7:18 am. Whew! That was close. Mitt was on Morning Joe and I only saw the last minute of stupid trash talk. Did hear Mitt say, the "Far Leftwing Extremist in the Democratic Party" are pulling Obama's puppet strings and won't let him approve the XL Pipeline; that they are using the issue to raise "massive amounts of money" thru fund raising from "powerful anti-environmental, billionaire activists." This wildass talk got Joe all giddy, but Mika looked like she was going to throw up. Got to go for coffee. I'm sure for the next 2 hrs, this show is gonna be about how great and right and presidential Mitt Romney is.
While watching Morning Joe this morning, which is the only MSNBC news show that I can tolerate, anyway they had an exclusive interview with Mitt Romney. I can't stop thinking about how much better off America would be if he was president. He was probably the most honorable person to have run for president with the best qualification to keep America strong and respected. Be open minded and be truthful with yourself.. obama has Failed America on Everything!
By mistake, I turned on "Morning Joe" and watched the worst panel interview I can remember in some time. Mitt Romney was permitted to make provocative statements on the economy, foreign affairs, and domestic politics with not a single follow-up question responding with facts to anything he fabricated. Joe, Mika, John Heilemann and plagiarist Mike Barnicle are proud graduates of the David Gregory School of Interviewing.
Mitt Romney is on MSLDS's Morning Joe. DVR it, they will repeat it in the 8:00 hour. Mitt said that the Brookings Institute just reported that for the FIRST time in our History, more businesses closed last year than opened. I think after 6 miserable years, it's time to just admit that Obama is the worst President in History. Jimmy Carter is smiling this morning, now that Obama has taken the title from him. Even Kenneth D Camarro has to take off the rose colored glasses at some point and be honest about it.
I'm looking at Morning Joe. They are interviewing Mitt Romney. I'm about to throw up.

Dan Senor, GOP political advisor for Mitt Romney, took issue with the level of loyalty among Romney's surrogates. He also admitted that the GOP needed to avoid repeating the failures of 2012. He told "Morning Joe" that the party's rigidity on tax cuts for the wealthy hurt it with the middle class, and that Republican struggles with immigration, while a longstanding problem, would need to be addressed in order to shore up some key demographic shortcomings. He even threw criticism at Republican pollsters, blaming them for the misplaced optimism among some in Romney's circle, saying that they were suffering from a "systemic crisis". Short sighted view on what Americans expect.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Friday he doesn't agree with Mitt Romney's recent statement claiming President Obama won re-election because he gave voters "gifts." Dam Republican Party chewing each others legs off. Another republican turns on poor old mitt New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie on Friday added his name to a growing list of Republicans who are rebuking Mitt Romney over his “gifts” comments. “You can't expect to be a leader of all the people and be divisive,” said Christie on MSNBC’s Morning Joe when asked if he agreed with fellow Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, who was one of the first to criticize the former GOP nominee over the comments. In a conference call with donors Wednesday, Romney said that minorities and young people voted for Obama because he offered them “gifts.” Said Christie: “You have to talk about themes, policies that unite people. And play to their aspirations and their goals and their hopes for their family and their neighbors. And I always think this is scapegoating after elections. When you lose, you lost." Jindal, an Indian-American and possible presidential candidate in 2016, quickly condemned Romney’s comm ...
When you think of the widespread Republican condemnation of Mitt Romney for saying President Obama beat him only because he gave "gifts" to young people and minorities, it helps to think of the former presidential candidate as two men: Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock.
Spent the last hour channel searching between Fox News Channel and MSNBC's Morning Joe. Fox covered the crisis going on in Israel,Obama Cabinet appointments, Fema and Sandy disaster, Libya hearings on CapitalHill, unemployment spiking, the stock market losing 1000 pts. since the election. MSNBC spent the last hour bashing Republicans and playing sound bite of Mitt Romney( who lost the election) saying that takers (my words) gave Obama the win.
Joe Scarborough promised I could *** slap Dan Senor on Morning Joe if Mitt Romney lost. Still waiting for booker to call.
Interesting take from Former Bush speech writer David Frum on Morning Joe: "The people who put concrete shoes on Mitt Romney are the same ones blaming him for sinking." He said this in reference to the "conservative entertainment complex" that he accused of forcing Romney to "twist himself into a pretzel."
Chris Matthews on Morning Joe this morning: "Advertising in Presidential elections is a waste of money. Anybody that spends a dollar, the Koch brothers wasted their money, anybody else spent their money, Karl Rove. You can't tell an American who to vote for for President with a 30 second TV ad. That's disrespectful to begin with." I DISAGREE with Chris Matthews. Romney got 48% of the vote with a campaign based on lies, lack of transparency, racism and fear mongering. Those votes were bought with TV and other ads by superpacs, dark money and other 1% contributions. And how about the effect on downticket races. Sorry Chris, you're wrong! Five minutes before Chris made his statement, Joe Scarborough said this: "Let's tell the truth about Republicans before [Romney's concession] speech. Mitt Romney ran a cynical, cold campaign. He ran false, misleading commercials -and we said it on air in real time - he lied about welfare reform, he lied about the auto bailout, he lied about medicare, he had a running mate t ...

Please find the humor in this...I love all my friends of both parties. Loving my Hoosier State. Be well and get out and vote all my Hoosier friends and family. Remember, love and respect you all...event if you are of the GOP. :)
Morning Joe – Romney lied about binder Mika Brzezinski, co-host of “Morning Joe” discusses the ramifications of the disturbing news that Romney lied during the debate about the “binders of women”. Mika also pointed out that Romney’s portrayal of women’s work needs seemed reflective of an archaic and demeaning perception of women and went on to note that women should be concerned about Romney, particularly if they combine all that with the assumption that Romney does not support the Lilly Ledbetter Act which guarantees equal pay for women. The panel includes economic analyst Steve Rattner and Time’s Mark Halperin, who analyze comments Mitt Romney made during Tuesday’s presidential debate at Hofstra University, and in particular that his “binders full of women” for staff positions when he was governor of Massachusetts.
There are only a just few days left so indulge me a little bit more with my political ramblings. The question of the day is why has Mitt Romney not held an interview, in fact not answered virtually any questions, in 26 days? I understand the reticence to answer questions regarding Richard Murdoch's statements that rape pregnancies are "what God intended" but that was only a couple weeks ago. That may be the reason Paul Ryan has been sequestered in the south to avoid the awkward reminder that Ryan's views and Murdochs are virtually identical. The governor has avoided questions for nearly a month. The president, on the other hand, has had several, from in depth day long interviews to off the cuff questions and answers with the Morning Joe hosts. He has gone on television shows and been accessible. Now some may say he does too much T.V. but I disagree. I find that the more I hear from a person, not just in speeches and prepared remarks the more I learn about the character of the person. I learn abo ...
On Thursday, Morning Joe host Mika Brzezinski called out Mitt Romney for what she described as his insulting and untrue meme-churning binder full of women remark.
Mitt Romney has been running on the (false) claim that he will create 12 million jobs and make the economy shine bright. For Howard Schultz, the man whom the right says “knows business,” to endorse Barack Obama, is a huge slam to Romney and his entire platform, fake as it may be. Schultz’s Starbucks is one of the few American companies that offer Health Care to even part time employees. Schultz, who has also endorsed has said that Starbucks spends more on employee Health Care than on coffee beans. In March of last year, Glenn Beck’s The Blaze reported: If anyone knows business, it’s Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz. On Tuesday, Schultz weighed in on the ongoing debate over Democrats’ landmark Health Care overhaul law on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. Though he says he initially supported the bill, the Starbucks exec cautioned that the new regulations will put limiting burdens on America’s small businesses and changes need to be made to avoid harming the nation’s economy. Congressman Cantor jumped on t ...

Sue Vernon Donny Deutsch made a comment on Morning Joe about the difference in the two leaders standing together to solve the problems of the devastation in New Jersey and the comments made by Mitt Romney. He said the two men were talking from the heart with feeling but Romney was "saying words without feeling them." That's the difference in President Obama and Mitt Romney-feeling, empathy, compassion; all words that have no meaning for Mitt.
Breaking from Newsmax.com Axelrod, Scarborough Put Down Moustache Markers on Election David Axelrod, a senior adviser to President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign, is so sure that his boss will win Michigan, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania that he’s betting his most prized possession: his moustache. On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Wednesday, Axelrod offered the bet during comments about Gov. Mitt Romney closing some of the gap in the three states expected to be solidly blue. Editor's Notes: Urgent: Suzanne Somers Found the Doctors Who Beat Cancer 3,981 New Millionaires Were Created Yesterday. Are You Next? "I will come on Morning Joe and I will shave off my mustache of 40 years if we lose any of those three states," Axelrod said, adding that he “can only bet my moustache once, but I'm very confident at the end of the day we'll win Virginia [too].” According to Real Clear ...

Okay I need a little help...I'm watching Morning Joe and the discussion is about Mitt Romney changing his positions last night. After a year plus of saying something different he has now changed all his views over the last three debates. The Bible does say, "that G-d will send them strong delusion that they would rather believe a LIE THAN TRUTH!" Okay I see now...wow! ATAS 10/22/12 6:33am
Rudeness is no longer tolerated in our society, it is now celebrated. We see it on television, in print and online. Here are some recent examples of rude behavior on both sides of the aisle: 1. During a radio interview yesterday Tagg Romney said that he wanted to take a swing at President Obama for calling his father a liar during the debate. He said the Secret Service would have intervened had he attempted to do so. He has since said he was kidding. Tagg has also been known to drop a birther joke to the faithful. 2. Congressman Joe Wilson called the president a liar during a televised joint session of Congress. He made his obligatory apology and then he fundraised off the incident. 3. John Sununu while being interviewed by Andrea Mitchell called the president "lazy." She gave him a chance to take it back, but he doubled down on his unflattering critique. 4. Chris Matthews while appearing Morning Joe called the GOP Chairman Reince Priebus a "liar." 5. Appearing on CNN Van Jones called Mitt Romney a "douch ...
Committee of Seventy's 2012 annual event was one for the books! We'd like to thank Morning Joe's Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski for a spectacular presentation at Seventy's 2012 annual event. We knew Joe would be a fantastic speaker, but we were all blown away when Mika joined him at the event. The crowd of 700 was enthralled, entertained and educated about issues from ultra bipartisanship to Mitt Romney's "binders full of women" debate comment. We'd also like to take this moment to thank our Board of Directors, whose hard work and dedication made the successful event possible. And, of course, our sponsors and the hundreds in attendance. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you all next year.
Earlier, we shared how Morning Joe host Mika Brzezinski accused Mitt Romney of lying about how he came into possession of his binders full of women. Her co-host and panelists might not have agreed with her, but she does have one high profile defender: Cher. Yes, that Cher.
Mika Brzezinski blasted Mitt Romney at length for his "binders full of women" story on Thursday's "Morning Joe."
Between Wednesday's Nightly News and Thursday's Today, NBC displayed an obsession with the liberal meme of attacking Mitt Romney's "binders full of women" remark during Tuesday's presidential debate. The network's delusional hyping of the manufactured controversy reached a crescendo when Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski appeared on Today to proclaim: "Romney just completely doesn't have any leg to stand on when it comes to women and the economy."
Mika Brzezinski : (as she left set of Morning Joe) "I'd stay but Mitt Romney told me I have to go make dinner."

Franklin Graham, the son of evangelist Billy Graham was interviewed on CNN last night by Piers Morgan. Graham readily identified homosexuality as a sin, and an abomination before GOD. He's right, and the Bible teaches this truth. However, when he was asked if Mitt Romney was a christian or not, he could not give a YES or NO answer. His answer sounded like he was a politician, and not a minister of the gospel. Most of America knows that Mitt Romney is a practicing Mormon, and that Mormons hold to the teachings of their founder, Joseph Smith. Some Mormons, the Reformed Mormons, Latter Day Saints, don't practice having multiple wives, but that doesn't mean that they're christians. Mormons are a cult religion. They have added to, and taken away, from the holy scriptures, and the Bible plainly warns us not to do so (see Revelation 22). Graham also publicly voiced his vote for Mitt Romney. Confused? Back on February 21 of this year on MSNBC's Morning Joe, Graham stated that President Obama may secretly be a Mu ...

With a national debt surpassing $16 trillion and a pending "fiscal cliff" that threatens to send the economy into recession, both presidential candidates, Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, agree on the need for entitlement reform and tax reform, but both candidates lack some specific details about which reforms they would support. "Let me ask you, in a second term, what is the president proposing to do to reform Social Security, save if for future generations, and will it involve lower benefits for anyone or higher taxes for anyone?" Time magazine journalist Mark Halperin asked David Axelrod, chief strategist for the Obama campaign, Monday on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." After Axelrod said Obama would reform Social Security in a "balanced way," but offered nothing specific, Halperin repeated the question: "What's his proposal?" Axelrod answered that the specifics would be up to Congress. The Romney plan is to cut all the tax rates by 20 percent while also doing away with deductions and credits. The amount raised by ...
Today on Morning Joe, Carl Bernstein may have been remembering the audacity-with-mendacity label applied to George W. Bush ... ooops ... somewhere along the way, Barack Obama swiped audacity ... now old Carl clings simply to mendacity for Mitt Romney. In plain sight or under the guise of Bernstein's sophisticated synonyms, I'm thinking that one stoops way below base to shout out LIAR (commonly referred to as the L-word alongside of the R-word with both below the F-word). Working for MSNBC has gone to Joe Scarborough’s head, or at least his ears. The Joe of “Morning Joe, broadcast on the “Lean Forward” network, was caught in the latest TV video scandal because he won’t listen. During his Wednesday broadcast, Scarborough again mocked GOP presidential Candidate Mitt Romney, this time for how he handled an Ohio appearance with vice presidential running mate Paul Ryan. The show played a clip of Romney taking the mike and saying Ryan is “quite a guy.” The crowd was then shown chanting as the words “Ryan!” popped up on the screen to indicate that’s what they were saying. Romney then instructed the crowd to chant “Romney/Ryan.” The camera flashed back to the “Morning Joe” set where Scarborough put head in hands and said "Oh, Sweet Jesus.” That reaction made the front page of Huffington Post and, as things do when spurred on by HuffPo, it went viral. Only that isn’t what happened at all – shocking, I know. Rather than have an incident that made Ro ...

Money making suggestion: INVEST IN KOOLAIDE! Why? Because the folks at MSNBC are swilling it down at an incredible rate! This morning on "Morning Joe" the host Joe Scarborough said that it was true that the lame stream media was focusing too much on Candidate Mitt Romney's statements instead of The Current Administrations extremely poor performance in handling the current Middle East crisis. His reasoning was that Romney got in the way of the media critiquing the Administration because of his statements. He said if Romney had said nothing the media would have had more time to cover the Presidents actions. This tells you a lot about the bias in the media. Drink up folks!

Thumbs up to: Chris Matthews lashed out at Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus on Monday in Tampa during a live "Morning Joe" segment, with the feisty MSNBC host accusing Mitt Romney and the GOP of playing the Race Card in their campaign against President Barack Obama. "The only thing the American people know about Mitt Romney is he is a plutocrat and his wife is an equestrian" ... Fmr. Gov. Haley Barbour on 'Morning Joe' today!
Daily Rant - 8-27-12 In what will be a famous clip from "Morning Joe", Chris Matthews tears into RNC Chair Reince Priebus over the constant allegations from the Republican Party, that Pres Obama is not "one of us", and is "somewhat foreign". Mitt Romney's "birther joke" did prove one point: NO other sitting POTUS has ever had to produce Birth Certificate; exception Barrack Obama. Gee I wonder why?? Full disclosure: I'm not 100% agreement with the current administrations policies, I tend to be progressive politically and not centrist as is Obama, but due to the blatant racial overtones the POTUS is subjected to since taking office, I will cast my vote the POTUS OBAMA.
Joe Scarborough on Morning Joe today, responding to Mitt Romney's series of TV ads (here, here, and here), claiming that Barack Obama has gutted welfare reform.
Washington Post columnist and MSNBC contributor Jonathan Capehart appeared on "Morning Joe" on Wednesday to defend Vice President Joe Biden's "put y'all back in chains" remarks. Willie Geist, a co-host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, was blunt: “If Paul Ryan, the Republican candidate, said that to an African-American audience, there would be calls this morning for him to get out of the race, for Mitt Romney to withdraw from the race. There’s a double standard

The Morning Joe Show is in the tank for the Republican Party. The Republican Party leader was on this morning for about fifteen minutes and 90 % of it was talking about some *** cheese. I knew it was not going to be a serious discussion when they ran off Lawrence O'Donnell before he came onto the show. The one guy who would ask tough questions was NOT ALLOWED to stay and ask questions. But I understand, Lawrence had just said a few minutes before that Bret Hume of Fox didn't ask tough questions when had Paul Ryan on yesterday and Joe and the "uninformed" Mika Brzezinski jump and down when he made that statement, so there was no way they was going to let him ask the Republican Party leader any questions. There was two serious questions ask and then Joe cut it off by bring that *** CHEESE up. But the VP mention that Mitt Romney would put people back in chain. They should have had a discussion about it but to overall spend an hour and a half on it. But then spend 20 minutes with the leader of the Republica . ...

All of us political junkies on both sides are waiting to see if Mitt Romney takes the cowardly way out and fires Andrea Saul, his chief spokesperson, who said that woman wouldn't have died if she lived in Massachusetts under Romneycare. Or is he creating his own Sister Souljah moment and bravely facing up to the right wing nutjobs he had to pander to during the primary season? This will be a test of his character, his authenticity, his ability to lead rather than meekly follow the conservative punditocracy. Can't wait to see what they say about it on Morning Joe today.
"Morning Joe" panelists Michael Steele, fmr. RNC chairman, Huffington Post's Sam Stein, and host Joe Scarborough takes on Obama campaign adviser Robert Gibbs over a new ad by the Obama-backed Super PAC Priorities USA that implies Mitt Romney is responsible for the death of cancer-stricken woman beca...

Never mind that Romney had left...

Can Mitt Romney garner one final push of support with his upcoming appearance at the Republican National Convention? That's precisely what the Morning Joe panel found themselves discussing early Monday morning, eventually coming to the conclusion of (and we're paraphrasing here) Meh.
Just heard Van Jones on Morning Joe say this, Mitt Romney was being considered to be John McCain's V.P. and that Romney showed McCain 23 Years of his Tax Returns and at some point after that decided that Sarah Palin would be a better running mate than Romney. McCain is the only person recently to have seen 23 Years of Romney's Tax Returns and felt that regardless of Mitt's experience he felt that Palin was more qualified than Romney. The Tax Returns are Too Damaging to Romney and that is why they will not release them. To me it reminds me of something about a "Snake in the Grass".
Dan Senor, one of Mitt Romney's advisors brought up a good point on Morning Joe this morning. He said that congress was functional before the Republicans took the house. Wow, I wonder if there is some correlation between the number of Republicans in office and the inability of congress to do literally anything useful. I think its kind of a cop out to say that the dysfuntion in congress can be laid at everyone's feet. Its kind of like having a kid in your car that hits people, throws things, and then you turn and yell at all the kids in the back seat. Is it really the other kids? Really?
On "Morning Joe" today, NBC News' Andrea Mitchell defended the Palestinians from a recent comment about their economy that Mitt Romney made. The 2012 presidential campaign may be teeming with money, but neither Mitt Romney nor President Obama is saying anything of substance, Joe Scarborough and the Morning Joe panel argue. Time's Joe Klein and Columbia's Dr. Jeffrey Sachs join a conversation on 2012 and why it's a campaign about "nothing."
Mitt Romney is planning a weekend Utah gathering of GOP heavyweights to help unite the party ahead of the election. Gov. Bobby Jindal, R-La., will be in attendance this weekend at the meeting, and he joins Morning Joe to discuss the gathering, President Obama, the GOP, Romney and 2012.

Following President Obama and Mitt Romney's Ohio speeches and fundraising events, the Morning Joe panel -- including MSNBC's Chris Hayes -- discusses Romney and Obama's rhetorical strategies and how they can be used best by the candidates. Joe Scarborough, a former Republican Congressman and current host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, explained yesterday in his column at Politico that he couldn’t bear the thought of casting his ballot for Mitt Romney or Rick Santorum, so he
Tim Pawlenty is such a tool. He just called Mitt Romney a "Ronald Reagan conservative" on Morning Joe. Is he really that stupid or does he just think most Americans are that stupid?

Nice to see economist Joseph Stiglitz talking sense on *Morning Joe* today. He totally buried Michael Steele when he tried to bend the conversation to Financial Inequality being a failure of gov't thus "proving" we needed less regulation...These financial elites, epitomized by Mitt Romney, don't get what a dangerous track they are on with the American people. Eventually, people like Stiglitz will get through to even the most pig-headed conservative who still believes the fantasy of upward mobility. When the realization of how duped we as a society have been for the last 40 years, there will be *** to pay. I sincerely hope that day comes sooner than later, we are in thrall to a very small number of people who care nothing for the plight of the poor, the marginalized, the old. To them, we are surplus and inconvenient.
Video on msnbc.com: Former Louisiana Gov. and now former 2012 GOP presidential candidate Buddy Roemer joins Morning Joe to give campaign advice to Mitt Romney and President Obama and reflect on his time in the race.
boston.com - C'mon, Mitt, think! So said former Secretary of State Colin Powell on Wednesday as he assessed Mitt Romney's wildly dangerous Foreign Policy saber-rattlings. Powell, appearing on Morning Joe said he was befuddled when he heard that Romney had declared that Russia was the top geopolitica...
Colin Powell said on "Morning Joe" just now, he's concerned that Mitt Romney's Foreign Policy team is "top heavy with too many neocons." Here we go again! Not that anybody asked, but apparently Mittens wants to resurrect the good ol' days of George W. Bush. No wonder Romney thinks Russia is America's greatest threat in the 21st Century — something else Powell said was a boneheaded remark. I smell a renewed Obama endorsement coming.
In what may come as a surprise to some, former Democratic Congressman Harold Ford, Jr., took to MSNBC's Morning Joe on Monday morning to defend Newark Mayor Cory Booker's comments criticizing President Obama's campaign for demonizing private equity. I agree with , private equity's not a bad thing. A...
Corey Booker, the democrat mayor of Newark, NJ, committed the cardinal sin for a democrat. HE TOLD THE TRUTH! He said on Meet The Press Sunday morning that Bain Capital, which Mitt Romney used to run, was not doing bad things. In fact, they do good things by taking companies that are about to close and try to make them productive again. He also said that sometimes employees need to be let go (fired in stark terms) and that he himself had to lay off about 25% of the workers in the Newark government in order to keep things going. He later posted a 4 minute video on you tube trying to “take back” what he had said. Do you think that he got a call from the Obama campaign? Monday morning on Morning Joe on MSNBC Harold Ford Jr., a former democrat senator, said that Booker was correct in his first statement and that he should have stood by those thoughts. HOW DARE THEY SAY THAT THE EMPORER HAS NO CLOTHES!
