MDC-T faces fresh split Barely five months ago, the party plunged into turmoil after Tendai Biti — its secretary-general then — led a section of the MDC-T to rebel against Morgan Tsvangirai, leading to the formation of the MDC Renewal Team. This became the second split inside a decade. When the MDC-T split in 2005, it was Welshman Ncube, the party’s secretary-general then, who fomented its fragmentation, unhappy with Tsvangirai’s style of leadership.

Tsvangirai dismis Lesotho as land of Donkeys and water MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai attacked President Robert Mugabe's woeful economy record Wednesday but the opposition leader may have shoved a foot into his political mouth by suggesting he missed Rhodesia and, possibly, insulting Lesotho as well. Should he replace Mugabe and have to visit Maseru as Zimbabwe's head of state, Tsvangirai will likely wish he had showed more diplomatic panache and nous after dismissing Lesotho as a land of nothing but donkeys and water. Addressing party youths in Harare Wednesday, the former premier said under Mugabe's inept charge, Zimbabwe had been reduced from number two economy in the region behind South Africa to the bottom of the lot. "We were second in terms of economic growth after South Africa but now we are like Lesotho which only has donkeys and exports water to South Africa," he said. And in remarks that could also be seized by rivals who accuse him of dodging the draft to go and fight for independence against ...

MDC Veteran Activists (VAA) consisting of stalwarts that have been active in the party since 1999 have rejected secretary general Tendai Biti and his leadership renewal team, opting to side with the President Morgan Tsvangirai as the party continues to implode. Addressing journalists at the MDC-T provincial offices in Bulawayo this morning (Sunday) VAA Bulawayo chairperson Joubert Mangena said Biti and his crew were renegades who were not in any way associated with VAA. "We want it to be known that we are 100 percent behind Morgan Tsvangirai and the people who were voted into leadership positions during the party's last congress. Biti and his renewal team will never get our support. As VAA, it is our duty to safeguard part core values and principles lest they be distorted Animal Farm style," said Mangena. Flanked by acting MDC-T Bulawayo spokesperson Swithern Chirowodza who is also the MDC-T Bulawayo provincial secretary for research and policy, VAA coordinator for the southern region Gideon Mangena, Sihl ...
BENNETT ABANDONS TSVANGIRAI MDC-T treasurer-general Roy Bennett has abandoned the faction led by Morgan Tsvangirai following power struggles ignited by calls for leadership renewal. Bennett, who lives in self -imposed exile in South Africa, is unlikely to seek re-election as treasurer-general when Tsvangirai’s group holds its congress in October. A senior MDC-T official told Chronicle that should he decide to contest, he was unlikely to get any votes. Bennett is among the first MDC-T members to call for leadership renewal in the party in the aftermath of last year’s general polls that saw the formation losing to a resurgent Zanu- PF, even in some of its urban strongholds. He announced at some point that he had quit the party, but later retracted the statement. Tsvangirai has brushed aside calls for him to step down and divisions over the matter reached a crescendo after Bennett’s deputy Elton Mangoma wrote a letter to the former trade unionist accusing him of a number of misdemeanours. Mangoma’s s ...
TSVANGIRAI, BITI TALKS COLLAPSE HARARE - Envisaged talks between opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai and his former secretary-general Tendai Biti, have all but collapsed, with the MDC ruling out ever engaging the rebels. A charge sheet compiled by Biti and company against Tsvangirai has dealt a mortal blow to the talks. Biti has summoned Tsvangirai to appear before his disciplinary committee on June 18, a demand spurned by Tsvangirai. Insiders said Sekai Holland, the chairperson of the MDC’s Guardian Council, has been frantically trying to open talks between the two feuding sides but to no avail. MDC spokesperson Douglas Mwonzora ruled out re-engagement talks. “The MDC wishes to categorically state that there is no mediation taking place whatsoever between the party and the rebels who have now been expelled by the National Council,” Mwonzora told the Daily News yesterday. “We note with concern the false narrative to the effect that Sekai Holland is leading mediation efforts between the MDC and the ...
AMH MOBI NEWS 12 JUNE 2014 NEWSDAY AND SOUTHERNEYE HEADLINE NEWS BUSINESS AS USUAL INFORMATION minister Jonathan Moyo yesterday continued his ministerial duties as usual despite his weekend tongue-lashing by President Robert Mugabe over allegations of fanning factionalism and divisions in Zanu PF. TSVANGIRAI,BITI RIFT WIDENS CHANCES of reunification between the two warring MDC-T factions fronted by party leader Morgan Tsvangirai and his 'fired' secretary-general Tendai Biti remain a pie in the sky as the two protagonists have continued to pour scorn at each other. United coalition suffers stillbirth The idea of a united coalition, or front, against the Zanu PF government can’t, and shouldn’t, even be debated. However, the whole issue and subject has been poisoned by blatantly stupid strategies, mannerisms and machinations by particular individuals and groupings that have sought to claim a leading role in forging the “grand” coalition. Tendai Biti addressing members of his faction in Harare As if by some mysterious design, the current players chanting the grand coalition slogan are commonly sworn arch-rivals, or even political enemies, of Morgan Tsvangirai. Then, in their lack of wisdom, they have tried to ride on that attitude and public position. In doing so, they have plunged into the disaster of trying to fight and dismantle the Tsvangirai brand, before they start making any progress of their own. That fight has been debilitating and taxing the Tendai Biti and Welshman Ncube camps. The simple logic and reason behind the point here is that, evidence is cl ...

Also Anglistone Sibanda is not a political analyst but a church member of some sort who claims to be a Bulawayo Agenda or BUPRA board member. * Tendai Biti pulls his 'boss' Morgan Tsvangirai into checkmate Published on 07 June 2014 THE Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-T) renewal team headed by Tendai Biti, the party's secretary-general, has set June 18 as the date on which embattled opposition leader, Morgan Tsvangirai, would appear before a disciplinary hearing following his controversial suspension from the party in April. But, Tsvangirai has scoffed at attempts to haul him before a hearing constituted by his rivals, with MDC-T spokesperson, Douglas Mwonzora, saying those convening the disciplinary tribunal were no longer members of the main opposition party. "First of all, Tendai Biti, Jacob Mafume (spokesperson of the renewal team) and others have f ...
Confusion after confusion, Zim politics is kak: Biti reveals Zanu PF links: HARARE - Expelled MDC secretary-general Tendai Biti has revealed working with top Zanu PF officials, war veterans, nationalists and some unnamed rich and powerful nations in his bid to politically bury his ally-turned foe Morgan Tsvangirai. Strange Bedfellows: Lawyer Tendai Biti and his client Gideon Gono The Daily News is in possession of a 58-minute-long audio recording, in which the former Finance minister, who is fronting the MDC Renewal Team, literally dangles a carrot to the MDC structures to back his project as he moves to form his own party. In the stunning audio recorded in Dzivaresekwa in May during a meeting with his Renewal Project structures, Biti claims his pockets are deep enough to finance the project since he has the backing of foreigners. In the recording, Biti says he is closely working in cahoots with some very senior officials in Zanu PF. “Chechipiri vanamai munoziva kuti tirikuita mameetings anotyisa nevamw ...

RIP Zimbabwe.Best of luck Africa. - More than ten months after the elections which triggered his exit from government, MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai has insisted he will not vacate the Harare home he used as Prime Minister during the fractious coalition administration. Challenged Wednesday over his continued occupation of the US$4 million property in the capital’s leafy Highlands area, a bewildered Tsvangirai told Studio 7 of the Voice of America (VOA): “I don’t see the anxiety over the issue. “What is so controversial about the former Prime Minister occupying a (government) house?” Government and Zanu PF officials recently said Tsvangirai ...

What is opposition politics in Zimbabwe ? How many political parties outside Zanu PF are registered ? I know MDC-T, MDC-N, NCA, MKD, DARE and little known K. Mkwazhi. Another unknown quantity of misgruntled few is mulling an idea called UDF fronted by Tendai Biti. Amongst all these parties MDC-T has sent shockwaves and Tsvangirai is the only name which comes into picture as if other players are now dead. It is rare to find Tsvangirai's name missing on as many news items, be it print media and electronic media. Not feeling well...Morgan Tsvangirai RELATED STORIES MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai has fallen sick and Sunday failed to attend a party rally where a crowd of about 10 000 waited for hours for his much talked about Africa Day address at the Zimbabwe Grounds. Party organising secretary Nelson Chamisa allowed proceedings to carry on until well after 3pm when he broke the news to a disappointed crowd the charismatic leader would not be available for the star rally. Chamisa said his boss had been instructed by his doctor to take a rest over an undisclosed ailment although party sources said the embattled leader was down with malaria. His announcement was met with angry murmurs from a crowd that had waited patiently since morning for the address which Tsvangirai had planned to give his thoughts on Africa's teething problems. In an apparent attempt to empathize with the crowd, Chamisa said he had pleaded with the veteran opposition leader to show courtesy to his loyal supporters by making a short appearance at ...
Police forced to overturn MDC-T Africa Day rally ban by Staff Reporter POLICE have been forced into a last minute overturn of a contentious ban they had imposed Saturday on an MDC-T star rally which party leader Morgan Tsvangirai was due to address at the symbolic Zimbabwe Grounds in Harare's Highfields suburb on Sunday. Tsvangirai has earmarked the event to present his perspective on Africa Day. But police Chief Superintendent Garikai Gwangwava, the officer commanding Harare South District Saturday wrote to the MDC-T notifying them of the ban. Police further cited the shortage of manpower to cover what they felt was a potentially volatile event. "...my office would like to advise you that police will not be able to provide officers to cover your rally considering that the day will be a Sunday and public holiday," read Gwangwava's letter. Gwangwava also cited the recent skirmishes which rocked a party rally in Harare's sprawling settlement of Epworth where MDC-T youths clashed with Zanu-PF supporters resu ...
COALITION OF *** AGAINST ANOTHER OPPOSITION They say it's a coalition against Robert Mugabe when in actual fact its a coalition to block Morgan Tsvangirai from leading Zimbabwe. Jealous people are always unhealthy, look at Biti and Sipepa Nkomo. Thus a coalition of *** that will always produce zeros if not negative figures. THE proposed merger of different political parties, civil society and churches into a grand coalition against President Robert Mugabe and ZANU-PF ahead of the next general elections scheduled for 2018 elections is still to take shape with no definite matrix yet by parties involved, showing it could be a while before the united front comes to fruition. Sources said the coalition, although having been mooted by many other parties before, is currently widely believed to be propelled by leader of the latest MDC-T splinter group, Tendai Biti and MDC leader, Welshman Ncube. Ncube and Biti are believed to be leading the alliance talks that appeared to be in full swing in recent weeks but ...

Makoni Backs Tsvangirai MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai, who has expelled his rebellious allies who plotted to topple him, has received backing from opposition Mavambo Kusile Dawn (MDK) leader Simba Makoni. Makoni, a former Cabinet minister in President Robert Mugabe’s government, joined forces with Tsvangirai ahead of the July 31 election and has rallied behind the MDC leader in the latest turmoil. There have been overtures by expelled MDC secretary-general Tendai Biti to court Makoni, but he told journalists at his party headquarters in Harare yesterday that unlike the smaller MDC faction leader Welshman Ncube, he believes in an all-inclusive coalition that includes Tsvangirai. While Ncube has said he was open to a coalition with Biti, he has ruled out joining hands with Tsvangirai again. “The grand coalition should include everyone,” Makoni said. “I do not buy the Welsh perspective. If Welsh is saying exclude Tsvangirai and Tsvangirai is saying (the coalition) is for all, then I back that perspect ...
The political circus unravelling in the country’s opposition politics needs no introduction. The tag of war between the Morgan Tsvangirai and Tendai Biti camps over control of the opposition MDC has dominated news headlines over the last few weeks. Social media platforms are awash with heated debates over the developments. Although the end circumstances are not yet known, logic would suggest that Tsvangirai’s camp has an upper hand on the tussle and that despite all the rhetoric coming from Biti and his supporters, it appears his political career is coming to a sad and abrupt end. There is a very sarcastic but interesting analogy doing the rounds in the social media which somewhat captures the rise and fall of Biti and his allies. It is the biblical story of Jesus and his entry into Jerusalem. The Bible narrates how Jesus rode on a donkey upon entry into the city. Some people who were part of the crowd welcoming Jesus spread their garments for the donkey to tread on. Zimbabweans who are overly comical ...
MDC-T:GOVERNED BY FAILURE MDC-T and its leader Morgan Tsvangirai became widely-known and somewhat relevant on the international scene since the party’s formation in 1999, not exactly because of any specific achievement or success on the part of the Western-sponsored political outfit, but purely on the basis of the treacherous willingness of Zimbabweans making up the party to front the anger of the dispossessed white land owners and their allies in the imperial West. The party started as a coalition of students, unionists, intellectuals, Rhodesians, leftists, and civic activists — all confederated by the bond of Western moneybags, indisputably pre-eminent to any of the conflicting values that existed between the groups. The West overreacted to Zimbabwe’s land reform programme, in the process disastrously underestimating the strength of Zanu-PF and its leader Robert Mugabe. British and American intelligence overrated the influence of Morgan Tsvangirai, and they disesteemed Robert Mugabe to their own p ...
AFTER BITI FEUD , TSVANGIRAI WANTS SG POST WEAKENED MDC faction leader, Morgan Tsvangirai wants the powerful secretary general post to be weakened following clashes with Welshman Ncube and Tendai Biti. Tsvangirai said the SG post creates two centres of power within the party yet the party president is the one who is in charge. He said the constitution crafted by lawyers had to be revisited.
"This party bears its soul from the working people, the poor. Unfortunately, our intellectuals, the likes of Biti and Welshman Ncube, have thought that they will allow people to fight for the revolution and they will just wait to take over the pieces but the people have resisted" - Morgan Tsvangirai.
Robert Mugabe lives in a mansion. Morgan Tsvangirai lives in mansion. So does Biti, Ncube, Mutambara and other political gurus. They all have more than enough to eat and drink. They all have beuatiful wives! In short these individuals are living the American dream right here in Zimbabwe. Then you hear reports of some morons who live in hovels in Epworth and have hardly anything to eat, engaging in vicious fights on behalf of these fatcats to the extent that some of them are hospitalised. Then one wonders if these people are in full control of their thinking faculties... # kubvunzawo
Why is it that players and coaches blame one another after loosing the match.MDC played very well against ZANU.they controlled the match in all position.it was 79% ball possesion to ZANU's 21%.like chelsea ZANU packed 2buses giving young captain and striker Morgan Tsvangirai no chance at all.it was the brilliants of young coach Jonathan Moyo and veterian defender Munangagwa which makes the diffrence.MDC coach Tendai Biti was seen standing on the touch line giving instructions to his outstanding troops to push forwand in numbers in search for the oppener and posibly winning goal the tactis which th captain blames.it was on the second minute of injury time when veterian strike Robert Mugabe broke loose and hit MDC on counter making no mistake.rounding off MDC keeper b4 puting the ball in to an empty net giving the host a rare win.after the match.MDC coach Tendai Biti blames captain Morgan Tsvangirai for agreeing a loan move to ZANU a season back and threatens to suspend him a move which 99% MDC suporters ar ...
MDC-T Performance on 31 July 2013 Revisited It is now making sense that 31 July 2013 was never going to give the MDC-T victory over Zanu PF. None of the people surrounding Morgan Tsvangirai believe Tsvangirai is a democrat. They all believed, wrongly or rightly that Morgan Tsvangirai with State power is difficult or impossible to remove from the helm of the MDC-T. So the best strategy will be to sabotage his campaign and keep him with one office, that of being the MDC-T President, without State power. What with the apparent hatred among its officials. And the widespread reports of internal sabotage of the election campaign, led by the Organising Secretary and a select group expelling all dedicated cadres and disqualifying some sitting Members of Parliament for not being clear loyalists. Now the hard hitting statements emanating from the fighting politicians in the MDC-T is clear testimony of a house divided against itself, and victory will never be experienced. It is evident that the MDC-T national leader ...
BLAST FROM THE PAST Why I cannot join Tsvangirai's faction, by David Coltart IT IS SEVEN months since the divisive meeting of the MDC National Executive was held on the 12th October 2005. I have refrained from making public statements since then but am now of the view that the public have a right to know my perspective. I have always believed that the two factions of the MDC, which emerged after the 12th October 2005 meeting, would never be as strong independent of each other as they were as one united party. Accordingly despite my deep concerns about certain issues, I felt it was necessary to try to reconcile the two factions and, failing that, to broker an amicable divorce between them. Moments after Morgan Tsvangirai walked out of the National Executive meeting on the 12th October I proposed that the remaining members of the Management Committee meet with him urgently to convey our continued support for him as MDC leader and our desire to accommodate his concerns. During October, November and December ...

Tsvangirai failed Zimbabwe, now he must go There was a time, not too long ago, when Morgan Tsvangirai personified everything that was good about Zimbabwe, writes Simon Allison for Daily Maverick, part of the Guardian Africa network. Tsvangirai was tenacious, fearless and determined to challenge the authoritarian one-party state that Robert Mugabe's Zanu-PF was intent on creating. He rallied the masses, campaigned vociferously, stood firm in the face of threats and intimidation and vicious personal attacks. He represented a Zimbabwe that refused to be bowed into submission; one that knew the difference between right and wrong, between democracy and kleptocracy. He wasn't just the leader of the opposition; in many ways, he was the opposition, and he gave Zanu-PF a serious run for their ill-gotten money. In fact, he didn't just scare the ruling party, he beat them fair and square in the first round of those 2008 elections. Zimbabweans wanted change. They wanted Tsvangirai. For the veteran opposition leader, ...
When Welshman Ncube supported the idea of participating in senate Morgan Tsvangirai refused but later participated but the party had already splited. When Tendai Biti. Supported the idea of leadership renewal Morgan Tsvangirai refused and the party splited and he then called for an early congress which means he also likes leadership renewal . Quotable quotes! "We are all the President's men, and should act accordingly"- Henry Kissinger. In this quote, unless one is throughly drunk to think otherwise- President means Morgan Tsvangirai made such via an elective Congress in 2011 until the people decides otherwise he remains our party leader. Hezvouko!
The greatest problem in Zimbabwe is not Robert Mugabe, Morgan Tsvangirai or Tendai Biti but voter apathy and disillusionment. Zimbabweans are tired, they have been voting since the attainment of independence. The essence and relevance of voting has glowingly become the much contested issue. Since the early 80's Zanu pf looted, and slowly in the process they destroyed the economy. The emergence of MDC in 99 was louded by many as the only way towards true democracy, rule of law and a move towards economic growth. With opposition wrestling nearly 50% of the parliamentary seats, hope was restored. An air of a better Zimbabwe was created as majority alulated the death of one party state. So articulate was the movement that even the preschool going children could be heard shouting.chinja. Zimbabweans risked their lives for the sake of the then people's movement. Lot of people lost their homes, possessions and their lives. Learnmore Jongwe, Batanai Hadzisi, Tonderai Ndira.may their souls rest in peace. What star ...

Morgan supporters threaten violence in squabble-ridden
With dust now settling over the leadership wrangle in our beloved MDC Party, the Peoples' Movement, it has become clear who controls the entity, given the events that took place in the last few days. MORGAN TSVANGIRAI is in CHARGE! He is the party's and people's FAVOURITE. It remains to be seen though, from the legal perspective, what Hon. Biti can get away with. What ever has or is happening to the MDC is not exclusive to the MDC. This has been the characteristic of opposition politics in Zimbabwe from the pre- colonial era, even ZANU PF was born out that. Following a major political turbulence, for instance electoral loss, opposition parties go into disputes over issues around strategy, money and leadership. STRATEGY, MONEY and LEADERSHIP are all issues that have been in the fray of discussions as reasons for desertion by a few of our colleagues. But, there is one other assertion that ZANU PF is influencing the ouster of President Tsvangirai and I concur. Here is why;- Given Mugabe's advanced age, natur ...
BREAKING: A faction of the MDC-T loyal to Morgan Tsvangirai in Makokoba constituency says it has passed a vote of no confidence in Member of Parliament Gorden Moyo over suspicions he belongs in Tendai Biti's renewal movement. The party's Bulawayo Province is set to deliberate on the expulsion Saturday. Moyo is yet to speak. Meanwhile, the civil war continues.
Suspended former mdc leader Morgan Tsvangirai is reported to have approached some two church leaders on wednesday night to persuade them to get involved in settling the problems affecting mdc. He tried Bishop Mutendi and Mukonori last week who both said their bread was buttered in zanu pf and could not get involved. Cool down Mr Handsome and allow due process to take place. ENOUGH TALK ABOUT Tendai Biti Tendai Biti may have broken a lot of hearts, triggered and catalysed considerable fury and to many he is a sellout, money monger and cheat, but I believe the talk about Tendai Biti has to cool and calm down. If he sees himself as a headline and topic day in and out both on social and formal media, his arrogance is bolstered and sharpened. Its clear that he sees himself as very crucial just because he is "the topic of the moment". Yes, what he did was gross treason and uncalled for, but lets get over it and put all our industry on Morgan Tsvangirai and team. More than 70 MPs are on Tsvangira's side, people all over the country know Tsvangirai and Tendai Biti is a mere drop in the ocean. Indeed, its easier for a teaspoon to empty a sea than for Tendai Biti to breakthrough politically. When Simba Makoni broke away from ZANU-PF it was big news, but his political career took a nosedive. Same can be said about Job Sikhala. Its all in black and white that Tendai Biti's political c . ...

MDC-T fires six more MDC-T's flagship province Bulawayo has suspended its chairperson Godern Moyo for allegedly being in the leadership renewal faction that wants party leader Morgan Tsvangirai to step down. Five others, Luveve Councillor Tamani Moyo, Clr Collet Ndhlovu of Cowdray Park, Makokoba district women's chairperson Genifer Kaoma, youth district chair Sony Poya and district committee member Thandiwe Moyo are set to be formally suspended at a provincial meeting on Saturday. They also face the crime of being in the Tendai Biti led leadership renewal faction. Party sources told Bulawayo24 News that a meeting was held in Makokoba Wednesday night and the district passed a vote of no confidence in Moyo, who is the MP for Makokoba. "Moyo's suspension and others will be confirmed at the provincial executive council on Saturday. "These people are detractors who are selling out the party. After firing about 10 members of the Biti faction on Tuesday, all the 210 districts and 10 provinces have been instructe ...
Morgan Tsvangirai versus Tendai Biti,in the battle for the soul of the MDC-T who will be the last man standing?
Its very unfortunate that Tonderai Ndira, Trymore Midzi, Talent Chiminya, Godfrey Kauzani, Fanuel White and others lost their Lives in vain. Their sacrifice for a new Zimbabwe has been rubbished by Biti and Company for money. Opposition politics will never be the same again. Personal greed, hate, dishonesty and deliberate lies against Morgan Tsvangirai have been upped all to mislead Zimbabweans who have suffered enough under Zanupf rule.
It's so sad that as Zimbabwean we use hate speak when someone differ with you in policies. We used to say its Zanu PF but I have seen it in my own part MDC T. We have my brother here Chalton Hwende who is now acting like Joan Moyo and Mugabe himself. I think as opposition we should show a difference from our Cdes from Zanu PF people like Maziwisa who carry hate in there hearts for MDC and it's leadership. Do not get me wrong I am a strong supporter of Morgan Tsvangirai but what I would want us to do as a people and a country is to move away from hate speach and listen to other even if we differ. That the only way we can built a better Zimbabwe. Democracy is about letting other share their views without fear intimidation or harassment . I look at some of the post my brother post and I say God have mercy on my brother because they are not doing us good as a party which used to preach fairness and democracy. It makes us look like hypocrites. If my brother could listen to this advice I think we will make a be ...

We are very grateful and indebted for the faith you showed in supporting Chimurenga music, a rare genre that has managed to shape our identity as Zimbabweans. However we also wish to extend our sincere apologies to our fans especially those who attended the Johannesburg concert held at the Standard Bank Arena for the poor sound quality and an abrupt end after Mukanya had only performed for just over an hour. The events on Saturday were unfortunate and beyond our control as the promoters were the ones in charge of the program. We hereby wish to express our disappointment in the manner in which Silent Killer Promotions handled the whole tour. Intra-party violence could once again rear its head in the squabble-ridden MDC following the suspension of party leader Morgan Tsvangirai and his lieutenants by a rebel group.
CLASSIC CASE OF THE SAME SCRIPT BUT DIFFERENT ACTORS Part of MDC President Morgan Tsvangirai's Workers Day Message I stand before you today, I cherish and acknowledge on behalf of the party the support you have given us following what has turned out to be an ill-fated attempt by the elite to capture our struggle. This struggle was not conceptualized in opulent boardrooms on expensive billiard tables. The working people’s struggle that conceived the MDC was started in smoky factories, in the mines, in the villages, by the students and the broad civic society under the constitutional movement. Despite the diversity of the players at its formation, the soul of the MDC has always been shaped and marinated by the workers and the ordinary people of this country. The soul of our party, conceived largely by the ZCTU, has never been driven by the privileged people who today want to capture the ordinary people’s struggle. Today, we publicly pledge here, in the presence of our great parent on this great day that ...

Dr Morgan Richard Tsvangirai is ruling the roast and no doubt he is. Newspapers's billboards and banners goes awash with his name topping the headlines. It means the print media is now making a killing in sales in marketing their brands. This signifies that without Morgan Tsvangirai their own survival will be in a limbo so as in politics. Why this debacle and why Tsvangirai's name always ? Tedai Biti and his friends who are missionaries of sellouts were dressed in MDC-T but inner in their hearts they are Zanu PF. Tsvangirai is a fearless leader who is until now causing nightmares for Robert Mugabe and his henchmen bcoz Zanu PF is very clueless and directionless in running our country and economy. I am convinced that since Mugabe is in his last days and won't finish the term and likewise Zanu PF wants to impose an imposter in MDC-T and leave no challenge bcoz Tsvangirai is the face of democracy and our revolution.

The feud in our party has reached boiling point. There is need for all of us to review this after 2 years from now. The truth of the matter as at present, is that there is no way Tendai Biti can work together with President Morgan Tsvangirai. Has the MDC been too soft as opposition?
Pity Morgan Tsvangirai. The veteran Zimbabwean opposition leader is facing a little opposition of his own, and he’s not coping too well. His party looks certain to split yet again, destroying in the process one of the few remaining challenges to uninterrupted Zanu-PF rule. Mugabe is loving it. Tsvangirai, on the other hand, looks weaker than ever. By SIMON ALLISON.

The only chance the opposition has of successfully challenging the ruling party is to recognise that there is strength in numbers, and strength in unity. Petty political differences must be set aside in pursuit of the greater good. Morgan Tsvangirai has taken his eye off the prize, confusing his own future with Zimbabwe’s – that’s why he must go, to make space for a leader who will put Zimbabwe first.

MDC-T faction moves to set up ‘democratic front’ A UNITED democratic front to challenge the 34 year-old Zanu PF rule is in the offing with the new initiative set to be officially launched in Harare in two months, it has emerged. Those privy to the goings-on have confided to NewsDay that the MDC-T “renewal” team that “suspended” party leader Morgan Tsvangirai and other standing committee members on Saturday had started a crusade to lure “all democrats” with a view to setting up a united front. “Renewal” team spokesperson Jacob Mafume confirmed yesterday that they were in talks with the Welshman Ncube-led MDC, Zapu led by Dumiso Dabengwa, civic society groups and others “locked up in undemocratic institutions” to come up with a winning team in 2018. “The position is we will try and hold talks with political actors and civic society so that we approach the crisis as a collective force,” Mafume said. “We need a convention or a big meeting to air the strategies. Extra Extra Read All About It!!! Workers rally behind Tsvangirai... Is it not a wonderful and refreshing feeling and thought that the state of mind I shall have the liberty to name as "political-mental-infirmity" does not strike all politicians (real and imaginary) at the same time. Rather, it opts to inflict only those who are often megalomaniac in nature and are often awarded a frail-looking disposition by Mother Nature? The Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions has thrown its weight behind MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai and has said that the rebels (for lack of a suitable name!) that are attempting to topple the charismatic opposition leader were out of order. ZCTU secretary general Japhet Moyo yesterday said workers were solidly behind the Tsvangirai-led MDC-T leadership elected at the last elective congress in 2011. LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) — It's Sunday, and 15,000 people are seated in the enormous arena-like church, fanning themselves against the dusty humid air in Nigeria. The preacher in a blue flowered shirt taps his microphone to announce "prophecy time." He places his hands on worshippers, who spin in circles, wave their arms in the air and finally collapse to the ground, shaking. They've been delivered. "Emmanuel!" he shouts. "Emmanuel!" the crowd echoes. A camera crew of 20 scurries around speakers branded with the slogan for his Emmanuel TV station, "Distance is not a barrier." The service is beamed worldwide. Morgan Tsvangirai is a political brand name. So is Robert Mugabe. Just like coca-cola. The grassroots will pick a successor. Not those who step up to the plate with dirt hands with saliva dripping onto the food iri kuda kudyiwa nevamwe. NO!
I am forced to talk about it and when i talk, i always talk nonsense and not even say *sorry *. There has been a talk about Renewal, some call them Rebels, whatever. Its unfortunate that the way other people think and behave is very unbecoming, you can't renew a political leadership, if not happy, you can only mobilise and form another political party, that is democracy and its allowed. In Zimbabwe you can't dream of unseating Robert Mugabe or Morgan Tsvangirai or any other leader, its impossible, these leaders came a long way. The DNA of African Politics is that leaders don't resign, only death do them part. What is happening in MDC T by some few individuals is just childish and youthful zeal. Think again ladies and gents. That is my take, no hard feelings, this post suits Juliet & the gang. Kiki Kiki Kiki Morning morning ladies and gents!!! Happy Easter!!!
Post of the day: There are two from the weekend after fun at Inkosi Ya Makhosi (designate) Mbelwa V Royal Wedding: One a Zimbabwean activist raising alarms of possible rigging in the Daily Times. He must be a joke. Zimbabweans would never have voted for Morgan Tsvangirai on three grounds. He had marriage scandals, he supported *** rights and he is a Ndebele. The Shona's to whom Mugabe belongs will never vote for a Shona. Tsvangrai was absorbed just like Kenya's Raila Odinga in a coalition Government and he enjoyed opulence while those he had claimed he was fighting for wallowed in poverty. Tsvangirai did not loose because of rigging. His character and personal and party management contributed to it. Dont raise temperatures in Malawi for no reason. Cartoons of the day: PPs Ken Nsonda and MCP's Dr. Jessie Kabwira fighting over 200 defectors, we are become so desperate. GUTU - Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai says Zimbabwe’s economy has deteriorated to such catastrophic levels that it is just a matter of time before President Robert Mugabe comes “running” to him for assistance. Addressing a large gathering of villagers at the weekend who attended a memorial service for the late father of recent MDC returnee, Job Sikhala, a highly-charged Tsvangirai declared that he was the solution to the country’s crisis and that Mugabe would soon have no choice but to beg him for help. “Mugabe knows very much that I am the solution to the crisis. I will not go to him to beg him to resolve the problems the country is facing. The country is now on its knees and Mugabe knows that he needs me to deal with this. He needs the MDC and Zanu PF is aware of that,” he said. Tsvangirai said Zanu PF had fooled itself and the country when the party celebrated a “dubiously-won election” through its bhora mugedhi slogan as the country’s coffers were now “completely” dry. “Th ...
Morgan Tsvangirai is the president of Zimbabwe, but the P is silent.
OUR HOPE LIES IN THE MDC BY MUTSA MURENJE We face elections on the 31st. There is but one party that has the will and capacity to move our nation forward, the MDC. ZANU PF has failed to take us to the Promised Land in the past three decades. Surely, Robert Mugabe has grown not only old but also tired. He no longer has the energy to meet the expectations of the electorate. Our future and that of our children is at stake. We wouldn’t want to be miserable for the rest of our lives so we better stand up for that which is right and just. It isn’t about Morgan Tsvangirai or Robert Mugabe but our future. We can’t afford to risk. Mugabe has been a major disappointment and thus we can’t expect any miracles from him. Tsvangirai and his team have tried ever since the coming of the inclusive government. We believe they can do more once they govern exclusively. Article 21 (1) of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states in no uncertain terms that: Everyone has the right to take part in the government of ...
Sunday Mail retracts false Bennett story. The State-run Sunday Mail newspaper has apologised to senior MDC-T official Roy Bennett, after falsely claiming that he criticised party President Morgan Tsvangirai's leadership qualities in an interview with the paper. In a story titled 'Bennett Slams Tsvangirai' published on March 23rd, the Sunday Mail 'quoted' Bennett as saying he and other MDC-T officials had lost faith in Tsvangirai, whom the story labelled "strong-headed and "power-hungry". When SW Radio Africa contacted Bennett over the story, he denied speaking to anyone from the Sunday Mail, or discussing internal party issues with the media. "I never made any comments nor have I done any interviews with anyone, I never have and never will talk to the Zanu-PF propaganda machine. I am not doing any interviews on internal party issues," Bennett told SW Radio Africa by email. In its retraction and apology this weekend, the Sunday Mail indicated that through his lawyers Bennett had distanced himself from the ...
"We have always been complaining about electoral theft and we can continue until eternity, but we are now going to adopt a paradigm shift in Zimbabwe’s political system. Mugabe will learn that elections will never be rigged again. WE ARE NOT WAITING FOR 2018, he should go now. Mugabe should know that we are coming to finish what we started in 1999", Job Sikhala rally (15March). "Do you think we stand a chance to get to 2018 with the current national leadership? WE CAN NOT WAIT TILL 2018, given the state of the nation. We have been taken to a hard place because of Mugabe and Zanu PF. To get out of this quagmire, we ought to take courageous action and refuse to be abused", Morgan Tsvangirai rally (06April). Am trying to read between the lines. Do we have a new way forward brewing here - based on the premise that waiting for 2018 is a non-starter?
The state owned but Zanu PF controlled Sunday Mail newspaper has been forced into issuing an embarrassing apology to MDC-T Treasurer General Roy Bennett after publishing an ‘exclusive’ interview purportedly with the exiled politician attacking his party leader Morgan Tsvangirai.
There are people who have been very vocal and against ZANU Pf and its Mugabe, they have suddenly gone AWOL, or when they post, its all about how bad Morgan Tsvangirai is, these people are now employees of ZANU Pf and work for money, be careful of them
Zimbabwe needs an urgent solution to mend its ailing economy but it is critically important to hear the truth being said from our political leaders particularly the ruling party Zanu PF. What surprises all sundry is that key issues which are topical are being left out as the work in progress or none and energy is now being shifted on the power struggle. Ironically both ZanuPF and MDC-T are pre-occupied with this struggle of gaining power in either life after Robert Mugabe when he calls it quit in anouncing a possible surprise retirement whereas the Renewal gangsters are pushing for Morgan Tsvangirai's ouster. The country Zimbabwe can continue to suffer an irrepairable damage if a strong contingency plan is not prioritised. We have heard of extremely hefty salaries which noone in the world would have earned, imagine $ 330 000 in earnings excluding allowances, it is a shocking revelation. A drastic measure and earliest solution is required before the wounds become a permanent cancer.
whoever hate my President Morgan Tsvangirai hes my enemy
THIS unvarnished truth about Zimbabwe's economy has finally revealed itself, courtesy of Morgan Tsvangirai, leader of the country's main opposition party, the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-T). Precipitated by a massively rigged election of July 2013 'won' by President Robert Mugabe, the fact that the country's economy has once again slipped into the abyss is an incontrovertible and stubborn reality. Companies have been shutting down en masse. Those that haven't are struggling to pay bills, chiefly wages. The economy is cash-strapped and a graver crisis is looming. The one sacrosanct secret known to all Zimbabweans is that all the problems bedevilling the economy are premised on politics. The blame rests squarely with the nonagenarian dictator, Robert Mugabe, who has been presiding over a remorselessly corrupt government and holding the country hostage for 34 years. But now, the chickens are coming home to roost, the ailing leader and his sycophants know clearly that his days are numbered. While the ...

Zim faces political legitimacy crisis — Tsvangirai HARARE - Daily News' news editor Gift Phiri (GP) chatted with opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai (MT) at his Highlands mansion for this exclusive and wide-ranging interview. Find below excerpts of the interview. GP: What’s your take on the current state of the economy? MT: First of all, I think you need to evaluate the current crisis and say what the root cause of that crisis is. To me, it’s a political crisis. The economic crisis is a symptom of the political crisis of legitimacy because that is the one that undermines the confidence in the economy. GP: How do you think the situation can be salvaged? MT: You know for the past five years, the economy was stabilised because of confidence in the economy due to political stability. Now, because of the crisis of legitimacy, as a result of a rigged election, already, it’s a crisis that has undermined economic confidence to the extent that all sectors have now been affected. There is a legitimacy crisi ...
THE FALLEN MAN THE SEPTEMBER CRISIS: PART ONE Today Frank Chikane gives us the insider’s scoop on the ousting of Thabo Mbeki HABO Mbeki returned from Harare in the early hours that Friday. It was September 12, 2008, and he went straight to rest. It had been many days of hard work. Many long working hours. But we believed there had been a victory. At midnight the day before, Mbeki had finally got Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and leaders of the Movement for Democratic Change opposition factions Morgan Tsvangirai and Arthur Mutam- abara to the negotiation table to initial a global political agreement to begin to set- tle the conflict in Zimbabwe. The triumph had come at the end of a tough week. Just two days before, Mbeki had flown from Harare to Mbabane, Swaziland to brief the troika of the secu- rity body of the Southern African Devel- opment Community (SADC) on his efforts to broker a power-sharing deal. He had arrived in Harare on the Mon- day with a proposal which ...
Kenyan politics revolves around ascending to presidency and it takes Kenyans more time discussing about who's next. If you want to know how hard it is to become President in Africa then ask Kiza Besige, Raila Odinga, Riek Machar and Morgan Tsvangirai. They can mention many ways of how not to reside in state house.
Democracy is all what we are looking forward in our country, Zimbabwe. Morgan Tsvangirai is a man at the moment when we are to talk about this topic. I am not saying he is the only democratic father in the nation, but he one in the forefront at the moment as he is the one who became courageous to challenge Mugabe and he even vectored in the 2008 general elections. Many people thought that in the just ended elections...31 July 2013, the party MDC T is going to walk over, but it turned the other way. Why why why. Be prepared, just open your ears and eyes as we are going to tell you what actually happened which led to the embarrassment of Tsvangirai. WADING IN? This is my view, and it may not be shared by others, including my current employers at the Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition and is certainly not representative of Civil Society, which ever way you conceive it. It is mine opinion, and I am most certainly entitled to it. If you disagree with it, " Ndasiya pfuti kumba saka ngatirovanei nemashoko" ( no physical counselling). The challenges engulfing the MDCT have been public, and in the same way that ZANU PF Succession Politics and conduct of internal process, or the NCA's internal democratic processes have attracted and continue to attract fair comment from those who are seeking democratic alternatives, so too does MDCT's. I was recently asked by a journalist from the Zimbabwe Mail 'Whether Mangoma's suspension was legal'- The following is the long answer, i gave, which the paper quoted in part yesterday: Morgan Tsvangirai is a great leader who has contributed immensely to the struggle for democracy in Zimbabwe, and has embodied for years, a vast ma . ...

Is it the Politics of Capitalism? Again? Looking at what is happening in MDCT, I cannot help but wonder if we are turning the clock backwards. I'm looking into the history of ZANUPF where questions of why & by whom were Josiah Tongogara and Herbert Chitepo killed. Our politics is very much influenced by the Western world in as much as ZANUPF might publicly loathe them, in the capitals of United Kingdom and other European nations was Mugabe's rise authored. The qualities of leadership the western world are willing to work with are: 1) Those who have love for their ways and means. 2) Those who are willing to follow their blueprints of economics. 3) Those who work hand in hand with Bretton Woods institutions and pliable to their demands. 4) Those distant from the bottom & indifferent ordinary man's needs. Morgan Tsvangirai doesn't fit the above, he is among the Zumas & Malemas of this world. I remember reading an article where US preferred Welshman ahead of Morgan reason being Morgan is too deep into Unionis ...
President Robert Mugabe's party has spurned opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai's call for another power sharing government ostensibly because President Robert Mugabe's Zanu-PF had failed to steward the economy.Mugabe was forced to share power with his rival, Tsvangirai, between 2009 and 2013 under…
Reports published by the Morgan Tsvangirai led Movement for Democratic Change that the party has paid a South African funeral parlour owned by a Zimbabwean businessman to ferry 22 bodies of Zimbabweans killed under yet unclear circumstances in a South African illegal mining fiasco this week have been proven to be all lies. On Saturday morning the MDC-T South Africa branch and some of its official and unofficial foras ran on line postings hinting that the opposition party has paid Kings and Queens a South African based Zimbabwean funeral parlour to ferry the bodies to its Bulawayo parlour. According to their statement the party vice president Ms Thokozani Khuphe was to receive the bodies in the company of other high ranking party officials in Bulawayo at an unnamed date. An extract of the statement from one of the MDC T's loud online mouths Boaz Mangamiso reads: "Kings & Queens Funeral Parlour will transport the bodies to their respective destinations. Hon Thokozani Khupe and other leaders will receive the ...
You know what ladies and gents, we don't have to keep guessing and end up stroking and cursing and insulting each other, at the same time hurting each other. My take is simple, those at HH and on the ground please do this without fail. I think Morgan Tsvangirai, Tendai Biti and Mangoma, whatever his first name is, i don't care because its not important. These 3 and the Top Management of MDC T must address a Press Conference and stop taking us as fools, some of us are not foolish. They have been working together for ages, they know each other in and out, many innocent people have followed them, many have been arrested and others are in jails because of them. Lucky ones migrated, they could have been killed by this murderer, evil satanic man called Robert Mugabe because of them. Many lost their properties, wealth and beings because of what they started. Now they are not worried about all the disturbances, what they worry much is LEADERSHIP. Can they all address us asap and let the world know what is happeni ...
Tendai Biti the MDCt General Secretary's Harare home was bombed last night. Tendai Biti was with Elton Mangoma at Harvest House the day Mangoma was severly beaten by mdct thugs suspected to be hired by the party 's leader. However Biti escaped the beating by hanging on Morgan Tsvangirai's jacket. 'Kana party yacho ichi tsemuka ngayi tsemuke' Basozilitshaya. Abakalitshayi.
Infighting rocks Tsvangirai party The violent confrontations that have characterised MDC-T infighting have spread outside Harare, amid growing indications that party leader Morgan Tsvangirai is fast losing support in official structures. In Masvingo, party youths allededly told the state media Herald that almost the entire provincial leadership is anti-Tsvangirai and they reportedly seized a car from executive members believed to be aligned to MDC-T deputy treasurer Mr Elton Mangoma, who has become the face of the leadership renewal calls in the opposition. Mr Mangoma and youth leader Mr Promise Mkwananzi were two weeks ago assaulted outside MDC-T headquarters in Harare as Mr Tsvangirai watched, while another youth leader, Mr Solomon Madzore, had to flee into the building to escape the mob. Party secretary-general Mr Tendai Biti survived by scrambling into Mr Tsvangirai's car. Mr Tsvangirai's support in party structures is waning, and in Masvingo - a province in which they fared particularly badly in the ...
Status Update By Mdc Spokesperson Why MDC reunification is impossible: Ncube 25 April 2013 By Guthrie Munyuki Daily News MDC leader Welshman Ncube says a re-unification of the former opposition party is "impossible" and a coalition with the Morgan Tsvangirai-led party very unlikely because he is unprincipled. The MDC split in 2005 because of Tsvangirai's failure to tackle violence and intimidation within the party, and his refusal to accept collective decision making, Ncube says in an interview published on Thursday. “Of course there is a problem. The problems which led to the split remain alive today. They remain unresolved. In fact the cracks are wider today than they were in 2005. The only thing we literally share in common is that we agree that Zanu PF and Mugabe have been bad for the country,” Ncube told the Daily News. “That’s about all that we agree on. We are not in agreement on just about anything and everything else. The things which divided us in 2005 still divide us today. People canno ...
How is Mangoma missing it? Honestly, l am surprised by Elton Mangoma. I really wonder what is going on in his head and making him want to continue playing the clown prince in the politics of the MDC. I said it from the beginning that after the disaster of the reckless plunge Elton made through writing a stupid letter and going onto a publicity blitz calling for Morgan Tsvangirai to go, Elton just had to leave. I have no doubt he is just delaying the inevitable yet subjecting himself to more humiliation. That Mangoma and his cowards of hidden allies decided to take the plunge without doing significant ground work within the party structures, simply struck the death knell to their mission. Mangoma has very few backers within the real MDC structures and therefore shall endure persistent humiliation within the party by the numbers behind Tsvangirai. Mangoma could be reading too much into the sympathy and noise largely coming from outside the MDC, where there are individuals and groups openly and even vindicti ...
Status Update!!! I am not very good in England, sorry, English but i read many links about what Mai Mujuru said, including the clip video posted by maybe the Zimbabwe herald or zbc/tv, whoever. I am very surprised the whole country, ZANU Pf and MDC( what nonsense.) Everyone has joined the factionalism in ZANU Pf and fighting a widow, there hasn't been any mention of Morgan Tsvangirai in the state media meaning everyone think ZANU Pf is good, they are blaming one of their own, praising the papers like there is no tomorrow. Don't be fooled, they are keeping your minds occupied by useless things, there is no mention of blaming the media there, there is no mention of supporting corruption there, unless if you are telling me she is the only corrupt person in ZANU Pf, maybe. Its not long before the wars come out and haunt MDC, through wiring they are busy looking for ways to destroy MDC and Morgan Tsvangirai in particular, be prepared for a tsunami before it comes and keep out of this factionalism and mobilise ...

UNACCOUNTABLE LEADERSHIP A LET DOWN IN ZIMBABWE The country with the highest literacy rate in Africa but among the poorest in the World. Zimbabwe’s leaders (the so called leaders) have failed to distinguish between doing business the right way and the existence of the black market scourge. As we speak the Ministers in charge of Mining and Indigenisation can’t even account for what is coming out of the so called indigenous mining companies. When the Ministers meet with the small scale miners in bars over a “bottle of something “, they are assured of progress at a larger scale and fail to ask papers that show whether the output from those mines have been declared via the correct channels for accountability purposes. One does not need to be a “rocket scientist” to understand that business performance proof is obtained on paper not from the word of mouth spread in bars. The Kasukuweres and Nhemas of this world have failed to understand such entry level finance principles that say an account of inc ...

EU to lift sanctions, but not on Mugabe and Grace THE European Union is to further ease sanctions against Zimbabwe next week, but will keep a travel ban and asset freeze on President Robert Mugabe and his wife, EU sources said on Tuesday. But the EU has held out an olive branch to Mugabe, inviting him to take part in an EU-Africa summit in Brussels in April and granting him an exemption from sanctions to visit Europe. The moves reflect a cautious easing of EU policy towards Zimbabwe 12 years after it first imposed sanctions in protest at human rights abuses and violations of democracy under Mugabe, who has ruled Zimbabwe since independence from Britain in 1980. EU states were divided in their response when Mugabe, 89, won a fifth term as president in an election last July that was endorsed as free by African observers but denounced as fraudulent by the opposition. The overhaul of the EU's policy, after a review, is designed to encourage positive change in Zimbabwe while retaining some leverage over Mugabe ...

"ZANU PF should instead encourage Morgan Tsvangirai to stay in power because his continued bungling allows them to rule in perpetuity"
MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai has called the elections a “farce”.
Kunewe To Whom It May Concern The quacks of the matter are at this crucial juncture of our democracy and freedom; more than ever do we need a man of steel, zeal and unquestionable thirst for a free and tolerant Zimbabwe none other than Morgan Tsvangirai. We elected this man for a five year term without any pre- conditions the same way we elected you and co. It is irresponsible and naïve to then pour the blame on the President yet you sat on the same table with him making decisions about electoral preparations. Be reminded that the office of the President is elected through the Congress by the people from every corner of Zimbabwe and not by 11 greedy people sitting in comfy chairs at Harvest House. Politics is about numbers and yours surely don’t add up. You worry about 2018 saying there will only be two years between that and 2016; was this not the case when you were elected in 2011, was it not the case when you were elected in 2006?? So what is your problem now? You morn yet you were the person respon ...

Every struggle has its ups and downs and in most cases these ups and downs are the result of jostling for positions of influence. And every struggle has its own casualties. Unlike other political parties the world over whose casualties are lying in graves, the MDCT, undoubtedly Zimbabwe’s most loved party under Zimbabwe’s most loved man Morgan Tsvangirai, is a peaceful political party that detests unconstitutional means of removing incumbent leaders. Sadly, the stolen election of 31st July 2013 have been used as a springboard for some trusted people to make clandestine and manoeuvres in the dark. We acknowledge that the MDCT has its own share of “pretenders” to the throne who would want to ascend to higher office prematurely and the party’s presidency is the main “prize.” And the height of it all is that the gamblers have resorted to outright mudslinging and malice against the person of Mr Morgan Tsvangirai. The recent allegation of embezzlement of party funds and countless other accusations ...
Worship news: Juju’s prophet predicts bloody revolt Young people will start a huge and violent revolt in South Africa –but first, youth leader Julius Malema will receive blessings from the Nigerian soothsayer who prophesied this. Malema and fellow Economic Freedom Fighters leaders left on Friday to visit Nigeria’s most famous – and wealthiest – charismatic preacher, TB Joshua. They will pay him a “spiritual visit to meet and create friendship with this son of Africa and his congregation, and ask for blessings for the journey ahead”, according to a statement issued on Friday. Their visit, which ends on Thursday, comes after Joshua told his Synagogue Church of All Nations congregation on the outskirts of Lagos on July 28 that South Africa could expect a bloody revolt. “In the nation South Africa, the country South Africa, the nation of South Africa … We should help them in prayer. I’m seeing huge revolt. Huge one. Revolt. And it will be very serious. You pray for your nation, South Afric ...
