I cannot believe some of the things you hear when you work in a place full of conservatives. Today one of my coworkers said that Obama cannot travel with a dog because it is unclean in the Muslim religion. When I said something to one of my other conservative coworkers they said that's why Obama made there dog ride on the top of the car during the family vacation. Pundit Laura Ingrahm, big mouth commentator, Rush Limbaugh, and the Grandaddy of Republicanism, Mr. Fox News, Rupert Murdoch himself, all gave Mitt Romney some marching orders even though the messages were mixed. Rush told him that he must now seek to paint Obama as a LIBERAL. Laura Ingrahm scolded him suggesting that if he couldn't under these circumstances he should, "Close up shop and shut down". And Rupert Murdoch told him to move more toward the middle, embrace families, be a good joe. All of these suggestions following the good news that Obama received a bounce in the polls following the very successful Convention. So expect almost anything to come out of the Romney camp!

While in the car today, I decided to put on Rush Limbaugh to see what kind of opinions he was spouting- I got a doozy. He was ranting about how he knows that "you" (his listeners) don't really like Mitt Romney, and that it's not really about Romney. In fact, he said, "Elmer Fudd could be running. It's about defeating Obama." He is truly the *** that he is infamous for being.

I can't understand some conservatives and a good majority of the Republican Party anymore. Years ago, if I were listening to Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity or some select others, if they were talking about a politcian that supported Pro-Choice stances, scripted his own Health Care system that is way too similar to Obamacare, and had a very liberal voting record, they'd be bashing this guy and demanding he be voted against. Now, they are supporting a guy like that like he's the savior of our country in Mitt Romney. How can one be a Christian Conservative and throw their hat into the ring with this guy? How does this happen?

Okay, I think I've figured out why the right is so afraid of Obama. According to Rush Limbaugh, Obama can control hurricanes. According to Mitt Romney, Obama was able to gut work requirements for welfare despite never actually issuing an order to do so, a feat only accomplishable by a telepath. Paul Ryan further backs up these abilities by announcing that Obama was able to make policy decisions a year prior to being elected AND take over Ryan's own body like a meat puppet and force him to vote against his own interest. World's most powerful telepath AND he can control the weather. Obama is a walking X-Man team. I fully expect an announcement by Fox News that they've analyzed the White House's secret beer recipe and it turns out President Obama CREATED Dos Equis.

It's hard to believe it's even possible, but Rush Limbaugh may have actually hit a new low. Not only did he joke about a hurricane hitting New Orleans, he even suggested it would be a good way to "get rid of" the poor. Will someone, at some point ask Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan or any of the other Republicans who are running for office to respond to Limbaugh's statement above? Republican compassion, throwing money into the ocean, hoping poor people drown chasing it. Republicans, who howl at wasted money or being taxed but are fine with throwing bags of money into the ocean if it would hurt the kind of people you may imagine are poor and living in New Orleans. Basically Republicans would rather light their money on fire than see it help non-white people, and Limbaugh thinks that combined with joking about dead people in New Orleans is hilarious. Disgusting. Just disgusting. I said it before, I will say it again. . . . This is what we are up against.
