Miss America World Peace Middle East Foreign Policy Miss Congeniality Boca Raton Ford Edge West Columbia West Boca Raton

32... I was: 32 I lived in : Boca Raton, Florida. It was a snowbird town where retirees stopped to see our kids because they missed their grandkids. Much changed in the 11 years we lived there! I was married to: Les Sternberg I loved our every Wednesday date nights I drove: a VW van (deja-vu to my first driving experiences learning manual shift as a teen) I worked: at home, caring for an 8, 7 and 1year old. I wanted: to be a good mom, to be friends with my mother-in-law, and an hour of peace to read an adult book I am: 30 years older I live: in West Columbia, SC I am STILL married to: Les, almost 40 years later I drive: a green Ford Edge with more electronics than I ever wanted but now NEED I fear: letting people down I work: as a doula and 8 years in continue to be touched by the miracle of birth I want: globally - mutual respect (at least tolerance) for other religions and cultures. Wait - does that sound like "World Peace?" Shoulda been Miss America. personally - slower-paced life, no alarm clock, long ...
Since Ron Artest changed his name to World Peace, have Miss America contestants had to wish for something else?
I realize that this will be a shock to many of you, but I (Kathy) don't generally follow the Miss America Contest..and (Sorry everyone) I find "The View" intolerable, but as I walked from Kitchen to stairs I caught a few comments from the new Miss America on The View ..and wow..she actually sounded extremely intelligent and capable. Good for her. I hope during her reign she can bring about World Peace.
The group here at 145 Pebble Creek Drive were cheering and so excited about the big OBAMA win at tonight's debate on Foreign Policy. The opponent seemed to be confused and thought it was THE MISS AMERICA PAGEANT--"I'm for World Peace!"
I feel like a Miss America Beauty Pageant contestant. I want World Peace!!!
I'm left with an image of Mittens wearing a tiara, holding a bouquet, standing on the Miss America stage professing his greatest wish for "World Peace".
Really my last one... If I'm Miss America I will work on World Peace!
So Romney u want World Peace? Sounds more like a miss America speech than a debate rebuttal
Thank you God! I have so much to be thankful for. Keeping Mike safe and helping him through basic is at the top of my list! Supplying Paul with work and the ability to work is next! Meeting all my new friends and reconnecting with all my old ones! Okay I'm gonna shut up before I sound like a Miss America speech. World Peace! lol!
If every woman gave every man a *** at the exact same time, we would suddenly have world peace. This is MY Miss America speech!
Can someone please explain to me why all of the Candidates are running their campaigns / debates based solely on lesser issues / popularity such as *** rights? Don't get me wrong, *** rights.very important to many people. However, not anywhere near the most important issues this county is facing. Why not just vote in Miss America for President, at least she wants world peace which is at least sort of a POLITICAL ISSUE. Wake up people you are just feeding into this "tabloid like" campaign. This is not about who has the same moral belie as you, or who will let you marry who you want, its not about race or religion, this is the next LEADER of our country, a country which is in SERIOUS trouble, in case people have been too concerned about chick-fil-a's moral standing to notice. Be part of the solution or don't complain about your grandparents not having health care, no jobs to be found, and widespread financial crisis. Because by all means, as long as someone is willing to let two men / women marry they must ...
To me, the most troubling thing in those videos was his lack of interest in obtaining peace in the Middle East. Quote: "On the other hand, I got a call from former secretary of state. I won’t mention which one it was, but this individual said to me, you know, I think there’s a propect for a settlement between Palestinians and Israelis after the Palestinian elections. I said, “Really?” And, you know, his answer was, “Yes, I think there’s some prospect.” And I didn’t delve into it." He didn't 'delve into it'? Seriously? Did the Jewish voters out there hear that? Anybody interested in peace in the Middle East? World peace? Isn't that lady on Fox & Friends a Miss America winner? Isn't she interested in World Peace?
I was just thinking about wishes. Like Miss America what do you wish for! It sounds humble on the surface but are any of the answers they give genuine and sincere. Cause I wish to be debt free and travel all over the world. World Peace! Nah! I am selfish I want peace for me! I admit it and so what would be a generous answer? Maybe if you were getting poor service somewhere and you complained you get a 10dollar gift card! Tell us your wish?
(Spokesman) Miss America, what is the One most important thing our society needs? (Miss America) That would be World Peace, but screw Obama's healthcare plan because I don't wanna spend any of My money to help others... Instead I'd rather get a perm!!! :D
