New York Knicks center Kurt Thomas born in Dallas, Texas. Thomas began his NBA career with the Miami Heat from 1995 to 1997. He then played for the Dallas Mavericks in the 97–98 season. New York Knicks (1998–2005) Thomas played seven seasons with the New York Knicks from 1998 to 2005, during which the team went to the playoffs four times, including two trips to the Eastern Conference Finals (1999 and 2000) and one trip to the NBA Finals (1999). Phoenix Suns (2005–2007) Thomas played two seasons with the Phoenix Suns from 2005 to 2007. Seattle SuperSonics (2007–2008) On July 20, 2007, Thomas, along with the Suns' first-round draft choices in 2008 and 2010, was traded by the Suns to the Seattle SuperSonics in exchange for a conditional second-round draft choice and an $8 million trade exception. San Antonio Spurs (2008–2009) Thomas was traded by the Sonics to the San Antonio Spurs on February 20, 2008, for Francisco Elson, Brent Barry, and a 2009 first round draft pick. Milwaukee Bucks (2009–201 ...
ok so you like the Phoenix Suns AND the Milwaukee Bucks?
The Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks have expressed interest in free agent Royal Ivey. I'm told that Ivey will work out…
AP source: 3-team deal sends Redick to Clippers PHOENIX (AP) -- A person with knowledge of the situation says a three-team trade is in place that sends J.J. Redick from the Milwaukee Bucks to the Los Angeles Clippers and point guard Eric Bledsoe from the Clippers to the Phoenix Suns. The deal also sends Jared Dudley from the Suns to the Clippers and Caron Butler from the Clippers to the Suns. The Bucks will get two second-round draft picks, according to the person who requested anonymity because the deal can't officially be made public until July 10 under NBA rules. Yahoo! Sports, which first reported the trade, said Redick gets a four-year, $27 million sign-and-trade contract as part of the exchange. In Redick, the Clippers get a much-needed shooting guard to play alongside Chris Paul, who has decided to re-sign with a team that has visions of contending for the Western Conference title. The Bucks acquired Redick from Orlando just before the February trade deadline, but decided not to re-sign him. Betwee ...
The Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks have pulled off a three-team trade, according to sources.
proud of copeland - The Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers, Utah Jazz, Milwaukee Bucks, Washington Wizards, New Orleans Pelicans, Oklahoma City Thunder and the Toronto Raptors are all interested in Chris Copeland who received a qualifying offer from the New York Knicks yesterday. - The Milwaukee Bucks have strong interest in J.R. Smith and have enough cap space to outbid the Knicks. The Detroit Pistons and the Phoenix Suns are interested in him as well. The New York Knicks extended a qualifying offer to Pablo Prigioni, making him a restricted free agent.
So, here's what I would do with the Milwaukee Bucks. I'd do a sign and trade for Brandon Jennings to the Dallas Mavericks and take back Shawn Marion and his contract they are trying to get rid of and they 1st round draft pic 13th overall. If Monta Ellis opts to stay in, I will trade him too... I'd try to pair him and the pick received from Dallas for Phoenix Suns 5th overall draft pick and Channing Fry, who is injuried and will likely retire, if not can help us as a stretch 4 and clear the cap room for Monta. If he opts out, I'd stand pat with the pics I have. I would NOT resign J.J. Reddick for more than 7 Million a year. But I would definitely Amnesty Drew Gooden, taking his money off the books. If we manage to get the Sun's pic, thats simple. Take Trey Burke with the 5th overall pick and then with our 15th Jamal Franklin who I believe will be the steal of the draft. If we can only get the Dallas pick, take Dennis Schroeder with the 13th and Jamal Franklin with the 15th. DO NOT GET A NEW HEAD COACH UNTI ...
More NBA-Speaking of trades, there have been a lot of hot trade rumors regarding New York Knicks backup point guard Iman Shumpert. The four big rumors have him going to the Phoenix Suns for Jarred Dudley, to the Orlando Magic for J.J. Reddick, to the Utah Jazz for Paul Millsap or to the Milwaukee Bucks for Brandon Jennings.

With Steve Nash gone from the Phoenix Suns, are AZ sports fans going to blame him for the demise of the Suns (now 13-28) like they continue to blame Kurt Warner for the demise of the AZ Cardinals? Suns coach got fired because the Milwaukee Bucks won in Phoenix for the first time since 1987 (24 games) :)

33 - Retired at many NBA teams! The Boston Celtics, for Hall of Famer Larry Bird. The Chicago Bulls, for Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen. The Denver Nuggets, for Hall of Famer David Thompson. The Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks, both for Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The Miami Heat, for Alonzo Mourning. The New York Knicks, for Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing. The Phoenix Suns, for Alvan Adams. Grant Hill currently wears the number with Adams' blessing.
1998 - One of many horrible moves by the MILWAUKEE BUCKS. They could have had DIRK NOWITZKI...oh and Steve Nash was in the same trade. Yikes. However, Pitino's plan was foiled by Nelson, whose team had the sixth pick. Nelson worked out draft day deals with the Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns: the Mavericks wanted Nowitzki and Suns reserve point guard Steve Nash; the Bucks desired muscular forward Robert Traylor, who was projected to be drafted before Nowitzki; and the Suns had set their sights on forward Pat Garrity, who was projected as a low first round pick. In the draft, the Mavericks drafted Traylor with their sixth pick, and the Bucks selected Nowitzki with their ninth and Garrity with their nineteenth pick. The Mavericks then traded Traylor to the Bucks for Nowitzki and Garrity, and they in return traded the latter to Phoenix for Nash.
Steve Nash of the Phoenix Suns, Doc Rivers of the Boston Celtics and the media relations staff of the Milwaukee Bucks were named today as winners of annual awards presented by the Professional Basketball Writers Association.
