The following is a comment from another site regarding potential story and casting for an all-female Expendables film: Description: when America’s Navy SEALs are wiped out trying to penetrate the island lair of a deadly despot who has captured one of the world’s top nuclear scientists, it becomes clear that there is no such thing as the right man for the job and that this is a mission so impossible that only women can handle it. The only way in: some of the world’s deadliest female operatives must pose as high-class call-girls shipped in by private plane to satisfy a dictator–and instead save the scientist and the day. As for the cast, Millennium Film’s Avi Lerner said that he has spoken to Meryl Streep, Cameron Diaz, and Milla Jovovich, although that remains to be unofficial as no one is officially attached or signed on for the project itself. But that hasn’t stopped fans from making their shortlists. Linda Hamilton, Sigourney Weaver, Carrie-Anne Moss, Michelle Yeoh, Uma Thurman, Lucy Lawless ...
This is one of the things that are wrong with Hollywood. I just read a list that is supposed to be the "Top 12 Strongest Female Movie Characters." The problem is that 9 of the 12 characters on this list are women with guns or some kind of weapons who kill people / aliens, etc. In my opinion, that should be a list of the Top 12 *** Kicking women, not "strong" women because toting a weapon and beating people up or killing things does not a strong women make you. Good at self-defense is what it makes you. There are nowhere NEAR enough truly "strong" roles for women in Hollywood and it pisses me off. And if we're going to list out strong characters in the history of Hollywood, I can name about 20 that I cannot believe didn't make that list. And we wonder why young women don't have better role models? The list was: – The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009, trilogy): Noomi Rapace as Lisbeth Salander – The Color Purple: Whoopi Goldberg as Celie Johnson – Kill Bill, Vol. 1 & 2 (2003, 4): Uma Thurman as ...
Milla Jovovich. Michelle Rodriguez . Uma Thurman. Linda Hamilton . Kate Beckinsale . Lucy Liu . just to start you off!
For the as yet untitled female Expendables, give me Lucy Lawless, Sigourney Weaver, Milla Jovovich, Uma Thurman, Gina Torres,
there should be a female version of Expendables. Kate Beckinsale, Michelle Rodriguez, Uma Thurman, Milla Jovovich...
Ok, so word on the street is that, they're making an expendables movie with a female cast. So far the only heroine cast is Gina Carano. Here's a list of others I think should be considered: 1. Michelle Yeoh 2. Zhang Ziyi 3. Milla Jovovich 4. Angelina Joli 5. Uma Thurman 6. Zoe Saldana 7. Alicia Keys (Freaking loved her in Smokin Aces) 8. Taraji P. Henson 9. Michelle Rodriquez 10. Bridgette Fonda (Point of No Return- OMG!) 11. Geena Davis (The Long Kiss Goodnight- Classic!!) 12.Misha Tate 13. Kate Bekinsale 14. Beth Phoenix 15. Maggie Q. 16. Lyndsey Fonseca
Matt Smith thinks Charlize Theron could be the Doctor... Well then, why not Milla Jovovich, or Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Uma Thurman
I'd like to see a female version of The Expendables starring Milla Jovovich, Angelina Jolie, Lucy Liu, Kate Beckinsale, Uma Thurman, Zoe Bell, and Maggie Q. It'd be awesome.
There should be an "Expandabelles" movie with Cynthia Rothrock, Michelle Yeoh, Milla Jovovich, Sigourney Weaver & Uma Thurman.
Today's list is to honor those tough female actresses ... the heroines that exude the confidence that just makes you not want to even think of antogonizing them. Again, in no particular order, this is what I have so far. Please feel free to contribute to the discussion. 1 - Hillary Swank (Million Dollar Baby) 2 - Linda Hamilton (escapes insane asylum in Terminator 2) 3 - Pam Grier (Jackie Brown and more) 4 - Uma Thurman (The *** with the Kill Bills, she survives a needle to the hear in Pulp Fiction) 5 - Lucy Liu (Payback, Kill Bills) 6 - Michelle Rodriguez (Girlfight, Resident evil, *** she just looks mean) 7 - Angelina Jolie (the Tomb Raider, Mr & Mrs Smith) 8 - Sharon Stone (the original black widow) 9 - Lucia Rijker (She turned Hillary Swank into a paralegic in Million Dollar Baby) 10 - Kathy Bates (Remember Misery?) 11 - Sigourney Weaver (Aliens anyone?) 12 - Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil) 13 - Grace Jones (Conan, Harlem Knights) 14 - Demi Moore (GI Jane) 15 - Kate Beckinsale (Acrobatic vampire)
I wish i was a big time Director but since I'm not yet Quentin Tarantino, needs to shoot an "all girl" action movie like "expendables" but the chicks if he can masterpiece kill bill i'm sure this will be tight, with these women Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, Angelina Jolie, Michel|e Rodriguez, Milla Jovovich (from resident evil), AND THE MOVIE IS DONE IN A UNIQUE WAY LIKE KILL BILL OR EXPENDABLES EITHER WAY THATS DOPE. OH AND BEFORE YOU ADD ANYBODY, THESE 5 GIRLS HAVE DONE MORE THAN ONE ACTION MOVIE AND ARE KNOWN FOR THEIR ROUGH ROLES LOL
Okay, how about this Kate Beckinsale, Milla Jovovich or Uma Thurman movie? Which one? I need about 7 to last me for the night
