Rand Paul and Harry Reid agree on something. And Durbin and Mike Lee. . And Cornyn and Whitehouse.

Thanks for the follow sir. Who do you more closely align with politically, Mike Lee or Harry Reid? Will you vote to repeal ACA?
Sen. Mike Lee was not responsible for the shutdown. Harry Reid & Obama were remember? =
We must take back the Senate in 2014. We must stop Obama and Harry Reid from ramming their radical agenda down our throats. And everything could ride on Kentucky. Democrats are mounting a massive assault on the Bluegrass State, and millions of dollars in special interest money are pouring in. Obama will stop at nothing to turn Kentucky blue. Mitch Mcconnell can’t beat the liberal machine. Mitch Mcconnell can’t win in November. He can't win because he voted for TARP. He voted for unconstitutional NSA spying. He voted to fund ObamaCare. Mitch Mcconnell can't win, but Matt Bevin can. Matt Bevin is a lifelong entrepreneur, not a career politician. He's a Constitutional Conservative. He will stand with Ted Cruz, and Mike Lee in the next big fight. Bevin will rein in unconstitutional NSA spying, and unlike Mitch Mcconnell, he will never surrender to Barack Obama and Harry Reid. Retire Mitch Only a real conservative like Matt Bevin can win the general election in Kentucky. Only a real conservative can ensure ...
He has cut out Republicans since day 1 when Obama became POtUS... Harry Reid: Because of "Tea Party craziness" he must become dictator...Reid is threatening to cut Republicans out of all decisions...will Republicans fight back? No, they will continue to vilify Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and any Republicans who fight back. "Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., doesn't often appear on Sunday morning programs. But he visited "Face the Nation" and made headlines in an interview with Bob Schieffer. Reid suggested that he might extend a ban on filibusters and simply go with majority rule."
Well, this is good news A 13 point swing! In the past couple months, we have seen a dramatic swing in mood of the American electorate that favors our efforts to take control of the Senate and retain the House. If it wasn't for Tea Party leaders like Mike Lee and Ted Cruz who stood up against Obamacare, Republicans would not be enjoying such a positive swing in support. According to a CNN/ORC International 'generic ballot test' that measures if voters would vote for a Republican or Democrat for Congress, the 8 point lead that Democrats held in the beginning of the year (50%-42%) has been erased and now voters prefer a Republican over the Democrat (49%-44%). That is an unbelievable 13 point swing and still trending in our favor. Charlie Cook of the reputable Cook Report calls this swing "one of the most dramatic shifts I've ever seen in 40 years of involvement in politics." The importance of taking back the Senate in 2014 has never been clearer after Harry Reid chose to shut down the government and activat ...
I appreciate where we all rally behind a "Reality Show" super star and are ready to do all sorts of things to get him back on the air, but where's the same outrage AND ACTION to defeat the left and what they are doing to us? Are you ready to participate? We need more Ted Cruz's, Mike Lee's, Rand Paul's, Louis Gohmert's, Ted Poe's, Steve Stockman's, and less Sheila Jackson Lee's, Hillary Clinton's, Harry Reid's, Charlie Rangel's, John Mccain's, Lindsey Graham's, John Cornyn's.. We have to unit, not divide, not sit this one out because he's not perfect, just do whatever it takes, whatever we can to turn this crap around. Please Pull your heads out, we are in the mess from our own doing.. doing nothing, while our enemies have united and played to win no matter what.. We must do the same, and we can win, because we outnumber them. GET ACTIVE! (PLEASE!)
Political oxymoron: Forget the fact that Harry Reid just stripped Mitch Mcconnell’s party of their ability to use the filibuster on Obama’s radical nominees. No, the real bullies in the Senate are Ted Cruz and Mike Lee according to Mitch Mcconnell.
Republicans in the Senate should feel ashamed Harry Reid is smarter and more cunning than them. I am sure their are some good Republicans trying to take a stand but since you have people like McCain, Graham, and McConnell in there, Ted Cruz, Tim Scott, Mike Lee, Marco Rubio, and Rand Paul have a hard time standing up for Conservative Principles
Obamascare has many names associated with it . Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and any fool who voted for it. Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are the stand alone MEN who stood against it, may they prosper while the rest of the " representatives die miserable, political deaths " .
I saw last night, that Mike Lee is being threatened with a primary race by the Utah Republican Party. I couldn't believe it. He, Ted Cruze, Rand Paul, Michele Bachmann and a few other patriotic Americans, stood up to Barack Obama, Harry Reid and the Democratic Party, in defense of our Constitutional rights. Barack Obama shut down the government with his unwillingness to talk, not the Republicans. Part of the Republicans need to remember who they work for, including Orrin Hatch. The Carbon and Emery County Republican Parties need to remind that bunch of Republican dough heads, up at our state capitol, to leave Mike Lee alone. He is the most honest politician to come out of Utah in My lifetime, that I can recall. Ted Cruze went home to the great state of Texas and received a hero's welcome including an 8 minute standing ovation and our man, who was helping him got a threat from his party. I used to rank Utah up there with Texas and Arizona (Jan Brewer) as the great states in the Union; no more! Use common s ...
Here's the problem with Congress and the White House in Washington, DC. Every single politician has acted these past two weeks exactly how their constituents were urging them to! Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Louis Gohmert, etc, are all being hailed as heroes back home. The same can be said, I'm sure, of Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, etc. Those in the media who favor our President, and the people who voted for him, are happy that he refused to negotiate (I wonder I'd they'll applaud the next Republican president if he chooses the same route?). The two big losers in this are likely to be Speaker Boehner and Mitch Mcconnell, both of whom will definitely face strong challengers from both sides in their next elections, with the former almost surely losing his speaker-ship soon. Americans are simply too far apart on most issues depending on their geographical location. Urban citizens have completely different values than rural folks do, and they generally want a bigger govt to take care of them. How do we go forward with .. ...
Our lives are about to change (not for the better). Senate Votes to Fund Obamacare. 25 Republicans just voted to fund Obamacare. The cloture vote to end debate on the House passed Continuing Resolution happened just moments ago. 25 Republicans voted in favor of ending debate, even though they knew that it would result in Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid attaching an amendment to that would allow funding for Obamacare. These 25 Republicans were relying on 5 Democrats to switch over on final passage, rather than relying on themselves to draw a line in the sand and demand a 60 vote threshold to fund Obamacare. They will try to tell you that on final passage of the bill they voted against Obamacare, but the simple truth is - their vote for cloture was a vote to fund Obamacare. Simple logic would have told them that if they voted on cloture and allowed Harry Reid to strip the defunding measure out of the bill that it would easily pass on a 51 vote simple majority. Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee along with a f ...
Ted Cruz just finished him historic fight against a tyrant Government. Harry Reid objected. The Senate will vote Friday or Saturday and will send the bill back to Congress. I call on the Congress to send the same bill back to the Senate and tell them to pass it or Congress will shut down the Government. God Bless Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio for doing what needed to be done!!!
Cruz is still going with assistance of Mike Lee, Marco Rubio, and Rand Paul among others. Harry Reid didn’t realize wha…
Anyone not standing with Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, you are standing with Harry Reid and propping up Obamacare!!
Castro can't go 5 minutes without his prompter, Harry Reid can't speak in coherent sentences, Nancy Pelosi shows up to work drunk everyday and I got to see & Mike Lee defend liberty on the floor of the senate off script for 15 hours straight!!
McConnell Caves on Obamacare: Dear Fellow American, Yesterday afternoon, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell officially announced his intention to abandon Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and the American people and instead give Harry Reid carte blanche to fund Obamacare in next year's budget. After a long career of compromises and flip-flops, he proved us right yet again. Mitch Mcconnell's treachery is exactly the reason why the Madison Project has already endorsed his conservative primary opponent, Matt Bevin, in Kentucky. Matt Bevin needs to defeat this Kentucky spineless RINO. Help retire him.
Diane Marie Don’t be fooled by this political theater going on in Washington, DC. The fix is in and both sides are trying to fund ObamaCare while saving face. The whole of House Republican Leadership thinks you are stupid. They have passed a bill that they know will be changed by Harry Reid before it goes back to the House in a few days. The smoking gun will happen when Boehner allows a Senate passed government funding measure to come up in the House minus the provision defunding ObamaCare. Also, know that Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell is in on this too. He is going to stand with Senators Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Mike Lee (R-Utah) to save his Senate seat, but he knows that he has the power to stop this scheme. Here is how both Republican and Democrats in leadership are trying to fool you. The House passed a Continuing Resolution, a measure to fund the government for two and one half months, with two things attached. A measure to defund ObamaCare and another to reorder the debt payment prioritie ...
The House of Representatives today passed a budget that included a clause on defunding Obamacare. Good for them. The vote went fairly much on party lines as the GOP has the majority in the House. Senate leader Harry Reid says the budget will be DOA when it arrives in the Senate on Monday. Why Harry? Why can't the Senate that has been led by you not pass a budget again? How many years has it been now? 6? 7? Democrat Senators have said they have the 60 votes to nullify this bill and stop a fillibuster that will be led by Republican Senators Ted Cruz,Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and a couple of others. Pelosi called this vote in the House a blatant attempt by the Republicans to shut down the government. This is the threat they have used each time Obamacare or any other piece of legislation that Obama has championed, especially when it comes to the budget, tirelessly and very effectively. Would the government being shut down really be such a bad thing? Here's the truth on those government shutdowns. The mail(USPS fun ...
Rolly: What if Harry Reid had seen the real Mike Lee in 2005? Any relation to Harald B? via
Talk about public distrust. Before January 2009, the filibuster was used sparingly -- only for measures and nominations to which the minority party in the Senate had their strongest objections. Since then Senate Republicans have filibustered almost everything, betting that voters will blame Democrats for the dysfunction in Congress as much as they blame the GOP. So far the bet is paying off because the press has failed to call out the GOP – which is now preventing votes on the President’s choices for three D.C. Circuit Court nominees, the Labor Department, the EPA, the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, and the National Labor Relations Board. The GOP has already broken with hundreds of years of Senate precedent and filibustered the nomination of a Cabinet secretary, Chuck Hagel for Secretary of Defense, and used the filibuster to delay John Brennan’s nomination as CIA Director. Harry Reid may now be able to summon 51 votes to abolish the filibuster, at least with regard to nominations to the cabin ...
Mike Lee just EVISCERATED Harry Reid on senate floor for using "banana republic" tactics to race through. Full report…
Share this post if you're ready to FIRE Harry Reid and put Ted Cruz, Rand Paul & Mike Lee in the majority!...
So revealing that this letter from Sen Mike Lee to Harry Reid doesn't even pretend to make an argument
Darn you Harry Reid for tying up Sen. Mike Lee with votes!!!
Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Marco Rubio, and a few others opposed the compromise pushed through by Harry Reid with the help of RINOs.
Republicans (as well as Democrats) Sold America Out! by Steve Deace on January 2, 2013 Print This Post Print This Post Sometimes after a long vacation you worry it will take you a while to get your groove back upon returning. Luckily (or tragically), Republicans disappointing us and selling us out has become a constant, so we can pick right up where we left off. The latest example is the New Year’s Eve vote (89-8) in favor of the fiscal cliff compromise engineered by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Vice President Joe Biden (which is more evidence of how entirely ineffective Harry Reid is). All but five of the Republicans from this lame duck session voted for it: Marco Rubio (FL), Mike Lee (UT), Rand Paul (KY), Richard Shelby (AL), and Charles Grassley (IA). According to the Club for Growth scorecard, Lee and Paul have a 100% lifetime rating for fiscal conservatism while Rubio is at 97% so they’re stalwarts by the organization’s standard. Shelby and Grassley are only at 77%, which is esse ...
Democratic controlled Senate is a failure ... time for a change, Or do you want to listen to Harry Reid for 4 more years?
A group of Senate conservatives has gathered enough support to block any treaties that come up for a vote during the lame duck session. A total of 37 Senators pledged, in a letter drafted by Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Pat Toomey (R-PA) to Majority and Minority leaders Harry Reid (D-NV) and Mitch McCo...
Matt Kibbe makes a great point. Rand Paul, Mike Lee and Pat Toomey have all proposed balanced budgets. Harry Reid, you and your democrats not longer have an excuse and can no longer blame the republicans for the lack of a budget being passed.
Zero Votes for Obama's Budget Last week, Senate Republicans tried to get Harry Reid and his Democratic majority to do something they haven't done in more than three years: pass a budget. Tea Party-backed Senators Pat Toomey, Rand Paul, and Mike Lee all introduced fiscally conservative budget proposals that were voted down by the Democrats. Senate Democrats have refused to submit their own budget, but Republicans did manage to force a vote on President Obama's budget proposal. "President Obama’s budget proposal, S.Con Res. 41, was introduced by Senator Sessions of Alabama in order to give the Democrats a chance to vote on the President's plan to dramatically raise spending and taxes," commented Max Pappas, FreedomWorks Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy. "Unsurprisingly, the Obama budget received zero votes from either party, as it is absurdly unsustainable and indefensible."
