Inelegant analogy: The Silk Road Fund is Michael Jordan, AIIB is Dennis Rodman: one will carry the team, the other will get tongues wagging
I never said he was best. But is Michael Jordan the best without Scottie Pippen, Steve Kerr, Horras Grant, and Dennis Rodman?

Favorite bball player of all time: Magic Johnson. Top five: Magic, Allen Iverson, Kyrie Irving, Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman
Durant is young STILL, and LeBron took some years to get it together... Michael Jordan is responsible for Charles Barkley, Reggie Miller, Patrick Ewing, Kevin Johnson, Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, Karl Malone, Jeff Hornbeck, John Stockton... All great hall of fame players. That have NO RING because of Michael Jordan... Even Clyde Drexler, Hakeem Olajuwon, and David Robinson ONLY HAVE RINGS BECAUSE JORDAN RETIRED!!! Didn't okay against the same talent?? Come on. Not to mention he had to deal with Bird, Magic, Worthy, McHale, Isaiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Dominique Wilkins (even though he was just a good dunker) and Bill Lambier, and even played AGAINST Dennis Rodman and had to get past HIM. What do you mean he didn't have to play against the same talent? Lol via Tre Moneyneversleeps Welcher
1998 NBA champion!!. Michael Jordan & Dennis Rodman. The player like them does not appear
Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman and Scotty Pippen are elite examples of an elite class because they are super achievers. They set the boundary
Packers Fans so mad, Seattle SeaHawks is just a better team, SeaHawks is Michael Jordan , Packers are Dennis Rodman
Dustin Morrison and I play NBA 2k. A lot. We have the rosters set up so the legends from the legend teams are in the association draft, as well as tweaking old players to return them to their prime. Then we do an association draft where we control and draft for 6 teams each, and just play every match up 2 of our 12 teams have all season. We kinda have "our" players we draft every time, and we often bicker over who has the best group. So, if these two groups of players were Allstar teams, who would win? Keep in mind, they are all in their prime. Team A; Kyrie Irving, Steve Nash, Steph Curry, Patrick Ewing, Karal Malone, Michael Jordan, Carmelo Anthony, Wilt Chamberlin, Charles Barkley, Ricky Rubio, Paul George, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, John Stockton, Magic Johnson, Dennis Rodman, Al Jeffersen, Amare Stoudemire, Pau Gasol, Allen Iversen, Brandon Jennings, Thomas Robinson, Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose, and James Hardin Vs Team B; Larry Bird, Lebron James, Shaquille O'neal, Anthony Davis, John Wall, Damion L ...

If only basketball can be as entertaining as them Michael Jordan,Dennis Rodman,Scottie Pippen,Jason Kidd days! 🏀👌😁 lol bo!
Robert Johnson Spencer Simmons Merlin Simmons Joseph Perez Roel Salazar Jared Carter Dwight Mcgee and the rest of I AM ESPN... What exactly did Michael Jordan win without the help of other great players?? Since so many people wanna down LeBron for tryin to play on a great team with other great players and tries to act as if Jordan won the titles By himself LOL SMH, Jordan had an elite superstar wit em, great role players like Steve Kerr, John Paxson, Horace Grant, Dennis Rodman, and arguably da Best coach ever in Phil Jackson, Jordan never won anything without dose guys But why does LeBron get downed for wantin to play wit a great team?? If U ask me Jordan supportin cast is equal or Better to what LeBron has But hes loved for playin wit great players But LeBron is hated SMDH, EVERYONE NEEDS A GREAT SUPPORTIN CAST TO WIN TITLES, ITS A TEAM SPORT

I'm hope the Chicago Bulls win the championship! Michael Jordan,Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman is going to put it to them! I guess they are playing.. Anyway who cares? It basketball. Lmao
I hate when people say that Lebron can't win a Championship by himself like Jordan,Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson did smh... These ppl obviously don't know basket ball... Michael Jordan had Scotty Pippin, Dennis Rodman, and clutch *** Ron Harper... Magic Johnson had Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and James Worthy... And Larry Bird had Kevin Mchale Robert Parish and Dj aka Dennis Johnson... Every player named in this status is top 100 players of all time and sum hall of famers... So before u say Lebron couldnt do it on his own get ur facts right...
I totally agree with this person about 1 on 1! Why do ppl think whoever wins in a 1 on 1 game proves whose better? Thats dumb You cant tell whose a better open shooter, whose a better passer, whose a better re bounder, and more J.R. smith would kill Steve Nash and Ray Allen 1 on 1 but that doesn't mean he's better. Michael Jordan is a better player than Lebron but I think Lebron would win in a 1 on 1. Lebron is taller, faster, stronger and more athletic. I know the Lebron haters will totally disagree I'm pretty sure a lot of NBA players could beat Dennis Rodman 1 on 1 easily but I would take Rodman over them any day. 5 on 5 full court is real Basketball
Michael Jordan had one of the greatest point guards of all time (Steve Kerr), Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and Luc Longley
and Michael Jordan had Scottie popcorn and John Paxson and Dennis Rodman, hall of famers. They both had Phil Jackson as their coach
Who has a better team? Consider that championships do not matter and all the players are in the prime. Jake Louie Sinson team= David Robinson, Dennis Rodman, Lebron James, Michael Jordan, Steve Nash with the bench of Clyde Drexler and julius irving. Matthew Dulin team= Shaq, Kareem, Larry Bird, Oscar Robertson, Magic and bench of Ray Allen and Jerry West. My team= Hakeem, Tim Duncan, Kevin Durant, Tracy Mcgrady, Dwayne Wade and my bench consist of Kevin Garnet and Scottie Pippen
Several years ago I worked at an organization that spent a lot of money on a sales training seminar for some of its key people. At some point, one of the sales trainers said you don’t want guys like Dennis Rodman on your team since he was a nonconformist, and I thought to myself, “Dennis Rodman has been on five NBA championship teams—two with the Detroit Pistons and three with the Chicago Bulls—and Michael Jordan said he was the most unselfish teammate he had ever played with, because he was willing to do all the dirty work so other guys could score. Most organizations need more guys like Dennis Rodman!” The room was crowded, so I didn’t say anything, but I wish I had.
Remember when Michael Jordan, Scotty Pippin, and Dennis Rodman ruled the NBA world from Chicago ?

One of my friends and I were talking and she asked me who I think would win a game between the 1996 Bulls and the Heat team from last year. I told her the Bulls would've beaten this team in 5 games lol. Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time, or at least, the greatest one I've ever seen. Scottie Pippen is one of the greatest defensive players there's ever been, and Dennis Rodman is as unique as they come. This Heat team simply wouldn't have been able to deal with those three, as far as stopping them or dealing with their mind games. Lebron James, for all his talent, would've been doing more complaining than playing. He would've had his moments, but in crunch time, he would've failed against this team. Wade would've been considerably slowed down by Jordan and Pippen, and Bosh, despite his abilities, simply is too soft to deal with Rodman or Luc Longley in the post. Too much size in the paint and too much of a mental edge, and of course, the greatest and the greatest small forward of t ...
Society respects and knows the Nelson Mandela who came out of prison after 27 years and became the First Black President and not that Mandela who was for a moment ignorant and wanted fellow African Men and Women as he stated in his Autobiography to thank and appreciate the colonists and also forget the contribution that uTata Walter Sisulu played in grooming this leader who came to be a global icon. Fans remember Michael Jordan's basket that wona the National Basketball Association Champion for the Chicago Buls, not the rebound of Dennis Rodman or the pass of John Paxson that made this great victory possible. In politics, we remember the President who delivered the State of the Nation Address and not the team of speechwriters that carefully crafted and edited his speech. These are just a few examples of how in our society we tend to value individual accomplishments. Now we need to change this trajectory
Can I just make 1 on here real quick? How is it that Phil Jackson can manage to coach players like Michael Jordan (who is known for punching fellow teammate Steve Kerr in the face) and Dennis Rodman but Chip Kelly couldn't handle DeSean Jackson? Makes no sense!! I don't know who is at fault! I know Andy didn't want DeSean in KC and Chip didn't want him in Philly. All I'm saying is party of being a head coach is knowing how to manage your team! Cutting your all star player to me is not the answer!! I'm gonna be sick over this for a long time! Smh
A Chicago Bulls fan who goes by Howsito shared this photo of his back tattoos featuring Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman from left to right. The Scottie Pippen tattoo was the final piece in the massive homage to the players...
A crazy Bulls fan just showed off a tattoo that he has across his back that features Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan, and Dennis Rodman.
What is the Last Dance ?? Last Dance - a term , final act , a final performance , finale , last try. In 1999 - The Chicago Bulls did their " Last Dance ". After being champions for almost 5 times in the 90's , they finally decide to part ways. Michael Jordan , Scottie Pippen , Dennis Rodman , Luc Longley , Toni Kukoc and the coach Phil Jackson. It was the last time they will be together as a team. It was dubbed " The Last Dance " of Chicago Bulls. Hence ' The Last Dance ' is a His Life Production of Dancers who will probably be together to perform for the first and last time - should Our God come anytime soon. A last performance to share who God is what is His Plans for us - and what shall we do before everything here ENDS. The Last Dance - will be on April 19 , 6pm at Garden Royale, Goldenfields. Tickets available at any His Life Site.
Well I would not like Phil Jackson to be the Knicks Coach that won't be good news for Me.Phil Jackson has helped so much for my Chicago Bulls and has coached the best players Michael Jordan,Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman and also so many other great players. These Great players could not had been the players without the help from Phil Jackson so I don't want Phil Jackson to Help the Knicks please don't let it be.
I LOVE Joakim Noah!!! He is definitely my favorite Chicago Bull at the moment and second favorite of All Time behind only Michael Jordan but tied with Scottie Pippen and ahead of Dennis Rodman
The Donation of Michael Jordan The Dennis Rodman was joined by the brand Bulls. The team spent the season on winning scores. And at the same time they obtained the most excellent score in the history. It would be a coincidence that Michael Jordan won the championship once again at the Father's Day. At the end of the math, Michael Jordan firmly held on the basketball sitting at the United Center and he gave way to his feelings. Sadness permeated among people, when they heard Michael Jordan's crying. The most valuable player of the regular season, all-star season and NBA finals was got by Michael Jordan in his basketball career of this year. Before him, only two people who are Willis Reed and O' Neal made such achievements separately in 1970 and 2000. Even if Karl Malone got the MVP of 96-97 regular seasons, Michael Jordan won this title back soon. And this honor belonged to Michael Jordan all the time. Michael Jordan guided Bulls to defeat Utah and ascend to the top. Even though Michael Jordan got the seri ...
Happy Faithful Friday!!! God is good!!! Just a thought- You know the grass is not always greener on the other side so if you got you a good ride or die (Bonnie or Clyde) at home, work it out! Men-you don't want to lose your China Doll and gain a Chucky Doll and Women- you don't want to lose your Idris Elba or your Michael Jordan for a dang Dennis Rodman! lol ok carry on!!!
Who would you put on your NBA's greatest 12 man team ever assembled? - Mine are Kevin Durant, Lebron James, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Dennis Rodman, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Larry Bird, Dave Bing, Oscar Robertson and Kobe Bryant.
Dennis Rodman just announced that he will train the North Korean basketball team for the Olympics...I guess he's going to teach them the key strategy that always worked for him...pass the ball to Michael Jordan!

"I've got Michael Jordan dreams with Dennis Rodman habits." -Aries Spears
Something to think about: The reasons I sense that this Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls rivalry is a little ridiculous are as follows: 1. Dwayne Wade hates playing against the Chicago Bulls, especially with him being from Chicago, Illinois. 2. Think about how many Die-Hard Chicago Bulls Fans are on the Miami Heat roster. 3. The Bulls did not have the talent level that the Miami Heat had, however they balled their way to Title Contenders which included sweeping the Defending Champion Heat in the 1st Round of the 2007 Playoffs, and MVP Derrick Rose helping the Bulls to the East Finals in 2011. 4. Both the Bulls and Heat franchises have experienced Playoff Upsets in the 1st Round as seeds losing to seeds. 5. The LAST TIME the Bulls and Heat were considered legitimate rivals in the NBA, you saw Michael Jordan torch Steve Smith and Glen Rice for 56 points, Tim Hardaway return to his HOME TOWN to battle Steve Kerr :/ , and Alonzo Mourning become frustrated with Dennis Rodman's antics (let us not forget James Posey ...
Not to jump off a bandwagon, but Dennis Rodman was one of my all-time favorite Bull players, because I like defensive / hustlers, up there with Jerry Sloan, Norm Van Lier Scottie Pippin, Michael Jordan, Horace Grant, and Tom Boerwinkle. Rodman gave his best, every play, like very few else.
Growing up, I loved Dennis Rodman. I was a die-hard Knicks fan (still am), and if you're from New York, you're taught at a young age to never respect any opposing player, even Michael Jordan. But...
My boys and I became Chicago Bulls fans during the magical Michael Jordan years. Scottie Pippen, Steve Kerr, Toni Kukoc, BJArmstrong, John Paxson, Horace Grant, Dennis Rodman, and their larger than life coach Phil Jackson. Now, many years later, as basketball season gets underway toward a full head of steam, an article in AARP's Bulletin reminds me what I saw, what many saw, in Coach Jackson. "You have to be true to yourself as a leader," he said. "I believe events and forces change the course of our lives. I was brought up in the home of ministers; much of my outlook in life is from a spiritual direction. I knew things of a higher calling could unify groups of men." He found ways to unlock those truths with a simple round ball. We all need to reach deep, work hard, deal with life as a team, and use our own unique gifts to make this a better place. Nice reminder coach. And thanks for your words, your lessons, and those glorious years!!
BULLS had tha best season record in tha NBA n still do thanks to tha 95-96 season of going 72-10 winning 87% of they games wit Michael Jordan.. Scottie Pippen.. Toni Kukoc.. Steve Kerr.. Ron Harper..Luc Longley.. n Dennis Rodman

Wow, Kobe Bryant signed an extention with the LA Lakers for over 48 million dollars in the twilight of his career over the next two years, there is no cap room for the Lakers basically over the next two years, the Bus family and Mitch Kupchak are complete fools for this, greed is *** is all I can say, the two Jerry's never gave Michael Jordan that kind of money, the two Jerry's would have never even thought about giving Michael that kind of cheddar!!! I will say this, if it came down to it, he would have not have excepted it and would have loved to keep is team together for less, Scottie Pippen, Bill Cartwright, John Paxson, BJ Armstrong, Craig Hodges, Will Purdue, Horace Grant, Dennis Rodman, and so on. That is why the "Mamba" will never be Mike Jordan, nor his the "freak" in Miami will not ever! Keep your head up Derrick Rose!!! Go Chicago Bulls!!!
Kim Jong Un is friends with Dennis Rodman, who played on the Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan, who was in Space Jam with Bill Murray, who was in Ghostbusters with Dan Akroyd, who was in Blues Brothers with John Belushi, who was in Animal House with Kevin Bacon. Bam.
I wish I was alive to see Michael Jordan play live on the bulls with Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman
The reason the Looney Tunes got Michael Jordan is because Dennis Rodman kept arguing with Jessica Rabbit over who had to change
The Ultimate player would be: Lebron James' size and driving ability Gary Payton's perimeter D Bill Russel's Post D and rebounding Dennis Rodman's intensity Michael Jordan's clutchness and ability to take over a game Ray Allen's jumpshot Kobe Bryant's confidence Wilt Chamberlain's finishing touch Allen Iverson's crossover Nate Robinson's quickness and vertical Magic Johnson's passing skill John Stockton's court vision Jason Kidd's coaching ability from the court and sportsmanship If anybody has got anything to add or change please comment and I will consider editing the ultimate player. -Nic
Houstonians will find fun in the Rockets but not, I think, a championship, and for one reason: Dwight Howard is a knucklehead. The deal with talented knuckleheads is, they need an alpha dog or two to keep them in line. Then they blossom. In the 70s, Charlie Scott on the Celtics had Havlicek and Cowens, not to mention Jo Jo White. Later on, Dennis Rodman had Isaiah and Dumars, then Michael Jordan. Vernon Maxwell had Dream. Artest had Kobe. (Dwight had Kobe too, but, sweet holy Moses, that's another story.) Can Harden be The Man? It's certainly pretty to think so.
I think today's professional athletes are of different genes than when I was growing up... Dennis Rodman was the only crazy one back then and Charles Barkley got mad a few times..lol. But over all you never heard of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Joe Montana, Emmitt Smith, Jerry Rice or any of the Stars getting in to all this trouble... I think it has a big impact on our kids... Look at the stars from the past and look how good we have turned out... look at the stars of today and look at the kids these days... BIG difference in morals and respect. Just saying.
2013 NBA Talk- The Greatest Team in NBA History= 1988 to 1989= Detroit Pistions= Isiah Thomas , Bill Laimbeer, Joe Dumars , Mark Aguirre , Vinne Johnson and Dennis Rodman combined to form the heart of one the strongest defensive teams in modern era, Lacking a domiant center. Pistions featured a potent three- guard rotation that lit up Michael Jordan in 1988 - 89 season, and a deep bench that rebounded and defended relentlessly , Pistions wrere 15-2 in 1989 playoffs , including 4-0 sweep of L.A. Lakers in 1989 NBA Finals. Mr. Football
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Michael Jordan had Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman (plus Ron Harper and Steve Kurr) Larry Bird had Kevin McHale and Robert Parish Magic Johnson had KAREEM AND James Worthy? smdh
Don't compare Lebron James on Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman said "If he (Lebron James) was in our time, he will be just an ORDINARY player."
HBO's 'VICE' travels to North Korea The documentary crew that accompanied Dennis Rodman to North Korea over the winter says it had no idea it would meet the reclusive country's young leader, Kim Jong Un, until he showed up at a basketball game it was filming. The media company VICE arranged the trip and invited Rodman after its first choice, Michael Jordan, expressed no interest. A 30-minute documentary on the unexpected piece of basketball diplomacy will air on June 14 on HBO as the final episode of VICE's first season, and was previewed for some reporters on Wednesday. The North Korean leader loves basketball so much that he overlooked the government's antipathy for VICE founder Shane Smith, who had made two critical documentaries on North Korea, and invited the crew in. Smith wasn't allowed back but VICE's Ryan Duffy accompanied Rodman and three members of the Harlem Globetrotters traveling basketball troupe. "We just wanted to make a good documentary," Smith said in an interview. "We didn't do it as a ...
Dennis Rodman says Lebron James would be "average" if he played in the 1990s, and insists James' Miami Heat would be no match for his old Chicago Bulls team. "It's really not a comparison. If LeBron was playing in the late '80s and early '90s, he would be just an average player," Rodman said Friday on "The Dan Patrick Show." "To do what Michael has done ... what he did was more charisma, there was more articulating and stuff like that. LeBron is more like ... there's no flash to his game. He's a great player, don't get me wrong, he's a *** of player, I'll give him that. But to me Scottie (Pippen) and Michael are probably the two best one-two punches I've ever seen." Rodman, who won three NBA titles with Jordan's Bulls from 1996-98, said a 28-year-old Jordan would average at least 40 points a game in today's NBA. "I'm just sick and tired of people comparing (James) to Michael Jordan," Rodman said. "It's a whole different era, man." Rodman said Jordan thrived despite playing in a more physical era in the N ...
In my opinion, the Heat don't have, and never had a legit "Big-3". The reason why I think this is because IMO a Big 3 consists of 3 future Hall of Famers playing in their prime together on one team. Chris Bosh is NOT a future hall of famer. He's a great player to have on a team, but not HOF material. A few examples of a real "Big 3": -Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman -Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Kevin Garnett Thoughts? -AP33
Dennis Rodman is tired of the Lebron James/Michael Jordan comparisons. He says if Lebron James played in the early 90's, he would be "just an average player."
NBA CHI - Dennis Rodman: Lebron James average if he played in '90s; no comparison to Michael Jordan; those Bulls beat current Heat
Dennis Rodman said Lebron James would be an average player in the 1990s and that he is not even close to as good as Michael Jordan.
People forget that Michael Jordan had a great team during his 90's playing days when he won 6 championships. Supporting cast members like Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, BJ Armstrong, Horace Grant, Tony Kukoc and John Paxson. Look at all the great players since Jordan retired. 1. Tim Duncan played on some great assembled teams, Kobe & Shaq yeah they were the 2 best players but there teams had outstanding role players Robert Horry, Rick Fox and Derrick Fisher who all complimented both superstars. Celtics big 3+1 (pierce, garnet, allen + rondo). That team not only had those 3 but also a great bench with great defenders like Tony Allen and knowledgeable and vets like P.J. Brown & Sam Cassell. Back to Kobe when he won a couple more championships with a great team along with Pau Gasol, who gets joked about alot but is arguably the best foreign player ever in the NBA. This team included Derrick Fisher, Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, Shannon Brown, Trevor Ariza then subbed out for Ron Artest for there 2nd of the back ...
Imagine Ron Harper, Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman, and the great Australian wall of Luc Longley on them. Heat wouldn't move.
VICE wanted Michael Jordan to go to Korea, but they settled with Dennis Rodman. Because he's an obvious second to MJ.
Reading the biographies of the world's greatest basketball players" Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman. Grabee! Tulala ako!
Sad but true, been a bulls fan all my life. I know Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, or even Dennis Rodman wouldnt sit back and watch there team struggle and lose. Derrick Rose is a good player but if he doesnt have the heart or is scared to play he might as well retire
We started it. Dennis Rodman, He used to play with Michael Jordan, he went to North Korea and started this.
Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman greatest trio eve...
❝I want to do for rebounds what Michael Jordan did for dunks.❞ --Dennis Rodman
I liked a video Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman interview - 1996 season
So, anybody following this story about Dennis Rodman giving his props to North Korea? If you said yes, let me point something out to you. Dennis Rodman was the guy everybody made fun of even when he was one of the most successful basketball players in the entire country, playing right alongside Michael Jordan. Dude had colors in his hair that Crayola has yet to classify and more piercings than the art departments of any 3 universities. When he gave acting a try, he managed to make Van Damme look both skilled and normal by comparison. Then we have North Korea, the one place in the world that *everybody* with two functioning brain cells knows is the Platonic ideal of an evil dictatorship. So, let's strip the specifics out of this story and run the real headline, which amounts to "Washed up athlete and failed actor does something stupid!" Or we can even narrow it down to the more terse "Hey! Remember THIS guy?!" That's right, even though this story usually contains scary words like "nuclear weapons" ...
I think we as in "American society" have the wrong idea about Kim Jung-Un. He is not a legacy genocidal sadistic tyrant. "I like him, he is an awesome guy." says Dennis Rodman. A cross dressing alcoholic circus show, but he sure can catch them boards so we should take Rodman's word for it. The New York Times said that Michael Jordan was Jung-Un's first choice. What I want to know is how far down the list did he have to go until he got a yes from Rodman. I'm actually suprised he was available to be a good will ambassador for US, and not in rehab with Dr. Drew.
Dennis Rodman, the former NBA star known more for his body piercings and tattoos than international diplomacy skills, said on Sunday he returned from North Korea with a message from its leader Kim Jong-un for President Barack Obama - "call me."
I do miss the Bulls dynasty of the '90s. That was really fun to watch Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Ron Harper, Steve Kerr, Toni Kukoc, and John Paxon play basketball. It was entertaining. There is a new awakening with Derek Rose and company that gives Bulls fans a reason for tuning them it because they may do it again. Will they ever win 3 years in a row that will be touch to do in today's league. However, the Heat could win back to back championships.
Dennis Rodman was rebounding from Michael Jordan when he met Carmen Electra.
My, my. Hegel has been confirmed and the Harlem Globetrotters, with Dennis Rodman, have just arrived in North Korea where Dennis will be the first American to meet with the new leader. Seems the North Koreans are fanatics about basketball. President Clinton knew this when then Secretary of State, Madeline Allbright, gave the former head of North Korea, Kim Jung Il (sp.) a basketball signed by Michael Jordan. The Basketball is venerated and almost worshipped. Hail Dennis Rodman, America's new peace ambassador.
Basketball used to be good when it was Michael Jordan, Scotty Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Steve Kerr, Luke Longley, Tony Kuco and Phill Jackson...they were the dream team. Steve Kerr could hit a 3 point shot from anywhere..Rodman would break his neck and YOURS to rebound a ball, MJ and Pippen were Batman and Rodman, and Luke Longley big clumsy *** was the entertain for the team...I was a faithful BBall viewer but after they split..I did too...I need that again
Michael Jordan Brief One of my mentors, whom I looked up to in developing the mentality of COMPETITIVE AGGRESSIVENESS “His Airness” Michael Jordan, is 50 years today. He made me take interest in the game of basketball in 1988 and I have loved the game ever since. I enjoyed watching games of his team, the Chicago Bulls led by legendary coach Phil Jackson in which players like Dennis Rodman (No 91 with dyed hair) and Scott Pipen (No 33 always spotted Grace Jones hair cut) featured prominently. Born February 17, 1963 in Brooklyn, NY . Jordan attended Emsley A. Laney High School in Wilmington, where he anchored his athletic career by playing baseball, football, and basketball. He tried out for the varsity basketball team during his sophomore year, but at 5'11" (1.80 m), he was deemed too short to play at that level. His taller friend, Harvest Leroy Smith, was the only sophomore to make the team. Motivated to prove his worth, Jordan became the star of Laney's junior varsity squad, and tallied several 40-po ...
Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time no doubt about it. But you look at that '95-'96 team where the Bulls won 72 games. That team was full of All-Stars: Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Toni Kukoc, Ron Harper truly a great team
NBA All Star Weekend. Watchin 1988 All Star Game. The time when talent ruled the NBA and terms like "upsize and potential" were conversations you had about college players. The list of talent was crazy. No way today is like the NBA of the 80's or 90's. Let me give you a taste: Moses Malone, Larry Bird, Patrick Ewing, James Worthy, Magic Johnson, Akeem Olajawon, Clyde Drexler, Karl Malone, Michael Jordan, Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Dominique Wilkins, Doc Rivers, Matt Daugherty, Kevin McHale, Danny Ainge, Charles Barkley, Maurice Cheeks, Alex English. Do I need to continue. I understand Lebron is one of the greatest players to play the game, but MJ did it against these guys. Not to mention late bloomers like Reggie Miller, Dennis Rodman, John Stockton, and Gary Payton. Man to Man, pound for pound, you can't compare this league to that league. Happy All Star Weekend. Happy Birthday to the GREATEST TO HAVE PLAYED THE GAME, MICHAEL JORDAN. Shout out to Wilt Chamberlain, nobody else still has more rings than fi ...
People will hate me for this but I think Michael Jordan is way overrated. 1st he hit the nba when there was very little competition. A lull in top talent teams. 2nd after winning the 3 titles and retiring the bulls only won 2 less games the next season and still went to the conference championship. You might argue well they won 72 when he came back.. yes but that is also the year they picked up Dennis Rodman. 3rd he was Nike's first golden boy so he was over advertised to build up an exaggerated persona of greatness to make nike money (think Rocky movies only not fixed) if anything Scottie Pippen should be hailed as the best player ever. But because he wasn't flashy it fell on the ego of Jordan. I still think Jordan is a top 5 player but nowhere near the stratosphere he is viewed in. (For those of you who dont follow sports his 50th bday is coming up)
Michael Jordan was my childhood idol. Him with Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Luc Longley and Toni Kukoc.
Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Andersen sounds and looks a lot like Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman
I am happy to say there is no team in the NBA this year that will challenge the Chicago Bulls record for wins in a season. Michael Jordan, Scottie Pipen, Dennis Rodman, Tony Kukoj, Ron Harper, Bill Wennington, Steve Kerr, Scott Burrell, Ronnie Brown, Robert Parish, John Salley. You all are still immortals of basketball allure.
Black history moment: On this day in 1996, Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls and Magic Johnson of the Los Angeles Lakers went against each other for the first time since game five of the 1991 NBA Finals. That would eventually be their last time going at it on the court in their careers. Michael Jordan only had 17 points in the game but he did have seven rebounds and seven assists as well. Magic Johnson had 15 points, three rebounds, and three assists off the bench. But Scottie Pippen's 30 points on 12-21 shooting and Dennis Rodman's double-double of ten points and 23 rebounds proved to be too much for the Lakers to overcome. The Bulls also outrebounded the Lakers 43-29 and they shot 55 percent from the field while the Lakers shot 47 percent from the field as the Chicago Bulls defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 99-84. Prior to that game, Magic Johnson came out of a four-year retirement and played the rest of the season in hopes for the Lakers to make a deep playoff run, but the Houston Rockets derailed that ...

I know it's ancient history to some of you youngsters, but imsick of hearing how the the old bulls was Michael Jordan and others! Scottie Pippen bailed them out so many times with great defense , rebounding and scoring, let alone ball handling, and Ron Harper was smooth as silk and a monster on defense, and of course the rebounding machine Dennis Rodman!
Q? If you played sports as a kid, who did you try to emulate? (Ex: Michael Jordan-even down to when he stuck his tounge out, lol) I had 4: Willie Stargell (winding the bat at the plate) John Stallworth and Lynn Swann when I played street football. Dennis Rodman and his rebounding style.
Michael Jordan had Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, Dennis Rodman and Toni Kukoc as his main supporters.
Which is better: A: A player that can drive like Lebron James, shoot like Steve Novak, pass like Rajon Rondo and rebound like Kevin Love, or B: A player who can drive like Michael Jordan, shoot like Larry Bird, pass like John Stockton and rebound like Dennis Rodman?
I have a mint Michael Jordan rookie card 1986-1987 fleer for sale an a nba signed basketball by dennis rodman

Interviews with Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman early in the 1996 season.
I'm the Dennis rodman of the Michael Jordan era
Getting a full-back tattoo of toddler Michael Jordan painting nicely next to toddler Dennis Rodman painting wildly.
In my opinion Critical Thinking happens in more areas than the classroom or the workplace. Critical Thinking is definitely used in everyday conversations, even in situations of common debate. For example: Most basketball fans have debates on whether Lebron James is as great as Kobe Bryant and if either of them are as great as Michael Jordan. Now while a great deal of these individuals use popularity, and their emotions (Who they like more) to make a decision. A select few individuals approach their decisions by using the facts. Considering statistics, teams, the differences in the rules changes in the game, and the era for which these players played. This information is used to help them decide which player is the best. Detailed Example of Critical Thinking: Jordan made six finals appearances and won six championships. All while being the focal point of an offense, during an era that produced the exception of Scottie Pippen and possibly Dennis Rodman, Jordan never played with Hall of Fame caliber player o ...
Ecumenical Mass at Westminster College today for All Saints. Apparently, there is a prayer service of some denomination each Thursday. since the largest group of students claiming a religion at Westminster is Catholic (over 600) and today is a Holy Day of Obligation, Shannon asked me to come celebrate Mass. Wonderful! Things I said that all might want to hear and repeat if necessary: Around Busch Stadium we find statues of great people who did great things for the baseball team; the statue is to honor what they did for baseball. I remember fondly when the Chicago Bears put out the "Superbowl Shuffle" and went on to win the Superbowl. Lots of pictures of those guys together. And, Scottie Pipen, Michael Jordan and ... not the best off the court role model, Dennis Rodman, Bulls 3-peat; players the youth looked up to on the court. Well, as Catholics, we are called to take our faith more seriously than our sports. So, we don't call them heroes/heroines or role models, though they are that, we call them Sai ...
Better line up. Ron Harper, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Toni Kukoc and Dennis Rodman or Chalmers, Wade, Lebron, Allen and Bosh Why?
Out of all the Bulls players they had Ron Harper on Kenan & Kel... Michael Jordan, Scottie, Steve Kerr, Dennis Rodman...
Dennis Rodman might give more attention grabbing quotes than Michael Jordan, but if Bulls lose, Jordan has to face media.
There is a report that the ZEN Master himself is looking at the Lakers and is kinda salivating at the chance of "maybe" coaching this group of Lakers. And if that happens.IT IS OVER!!! There has NEVER been a better coach (no matter the sport) that molds egos together as well as he does. I mean look at the greatest team in NBA history, The Chicago Bulls in 95-96 (72-10) and in the playoffs (only lost 3 games during their first championship run that would lead to 3 straight) and they had on that team, The GREATEST player of all time in Michael Jordan, the great Scottie Pippen, and the "worm" Dennis Rodman. Now you talk about EGOS! And Phil molded all of theirs together and it worked perfectly. Think about him coaching THIS group of Lakers? Oh, I could definitely smell for him as a coach, for the Lakers tying them with the Celtics, and of course for the Mamba!!! Oh please, please, PLEASE come back Jackson!!!
I guess that if I was going to be anything other than a Christian , I would be a Zen Buddhist . Jesus was around a lot of crazy characters and handled them all well . Coach Phil Jackson , noted for his Zen like character , molded a championship team in the Chicago Bulls . Somehow , even with all of the distractions , he made things work in the the team with Dennis Rodman , Scottie Pippin , and the incomparable Michael Jordan .
What if Derrick Rose, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and Joakim Noah played together, all in their prime?
Michael Jordan , Scottie Pippen , and Dennis Rodman isn't a big 3 .sorry .
Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman are the best back in the day players for Chicago Bulls
This is why I love baseball. Today back in 1945, the color barrier was broken when Jackie signed with Branch Rickey to play with the Brooklyn Dodgers. If the Dodgers had stayed in Brooklyn, Jackie would have had a longer and greater career. If he were still alive today, he'd definitely be one ballplayer I would love to meet. Jackie paved the way for greats such as Michael Jordan, Hammerin' Hank Aaron, Dennis Rodman, and the list keeps going on.
Here's a quote from the dim-witted *** John Salley, "I think the greatest player I've ever played against was Magic Johnson. Next, was Larry Bird. Then, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The hardest guy I had to guard: Hakeem Olajuwon. No one can guard Hakeem. And then, Kevin McHale." There is NO mention of a man named Michael Jordan in that quote. Wait, not in the TOP 5???!!! He goes on to say that Isiah Thomas was the best player he ever played with despite being on the same team as Jordan in 1996. I looked around and noticed that John Salley said this about Jordan a few years back on NBC... "One time we were practicing, scrimmaging, and [Bulls coach] Phil Jackson forced him not to practice. He had on canvas tennis shoes, which was proof that it's not the shoes. He put Dennis Rodman, James Douglas and myself on the same squad for scrimmage. And Michael tied up those canvas [shoes] and said, 'I'm playing.' "I literally saw Superman enter the building. He took off to dunk on me and he just yelled, 'Block this, ...
A lot of people have been saying the 2012-2013 Los Angeles Lakers will be the best team ever with Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol, Antwan Jamison, Steve Nash, and Kobe Bryant. I'm not saying they won't be the best ever, but the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls that went 72 and 10 and won a championship with Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippin, and Dennis Rodman might have something to say about it.
On tip of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen got paid less than Ron Harper, Toni Kukoc, Dennis Rodman & Luc Longley on the 1998 Bulls team smh
Michael Jordan won 6 titles with Scottie Pippen, Steve Kerr and Dennis Rodman. No offense to those guys, but Kobe had Shaq and now Dwight?
Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman dominated this game to move their record to 46-5. . Jordan scored 44, Pi...
I still need 3 players...I would like a Michael Jordan, Steve Kerr, and a Dennis Rodman w/o the wedding dress. Is that to much to ask for?
Okay your a goon, what's a goon to a goblin??? I'm classic like Michael Jordan and your washed up like Dennis Rodman!
I had a dream I partied with Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and Steve Kerr last night.
In a 1998 survey, a thousand Americans were asked what chance a variety of public figures had of going to heaven. The winner in this heavenly survey was Mother Teresa. Seventy-nine percent of those surveyed said Mother Teresa is very likely or somewhat likely to go to heaven. According to the results of this survey, here are the chances that other famous persons will go to heaven. Oprah Winfrey - 66% Michael Jordan - 65% Colin Powell - 61% Princess Diana - 60% Al Gore - 55% Hillary Rodham Clinton - 55% Bill Clinton - 52% Pat Robertson - 47% Newt Gingrich - 40% Dennis Rodman - 28% O.J. Simpson - 19%
The best trio was Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman!
Dark skin Girls try to cut they hair off tryna look like Amber Rose and End up looking like Michael Jordan or Dennis Rodman
How about this: I suck @ basketball. My offense is like Dennis Rodman. My defense is like Michael Jordan. However, on my basketball shoot app on my phone I a lil bit betta. Shooting like Pau Gasol but no such thing as defense
Dear LeBron, I saw you on David Lettermen comparing yourself to Michael Jordan. You are not now, nor will you ever be Michael Jordan. He is a class act. If you want to compare yourself to the Bulls, try Dennis Rodman.
Of course Michael Jordan didnt go to some other team to play with like Lebron did with the Heat. I wouldnt either if i had B.J. Armstrong, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and Tony Kucoc on my team
Let's just get something straight here on Lebron James. Okay, hats off to him he finally got his hardware. Should the critics be silenced? For the most part yes, I do believe so and I hate LBJ. Here's where my problem lies now. I heard some analysts on ESPN talking about how he could still surpass the Jordan Legacy, they were comparing ages of first championships (MJ 28, LBJ 27) and playoff appearances and series wins by that age. There are 2 major differences just by going to their first championship and it's something that cannot ever be changed. 1. Michael Jordan stayed with and built up a bad franchise and NEVER left to go somewhere else to get it done. 2. Sure MJ had talented players like Dennis Rodman, Horace Grant, John Paxson, Steve Kerr, and of course Scottie Pippen however, he never hooked up with already established superstars as James did with Bosh and Wade. None of the players Jordan won his championships went anywhere and shinned on their own. Horace's finish in Orlando was probably the most ...
Thoughts on this??? . "Michael Jordan is The Absolute Best I've EVER seen because he took some B-C scrubbs and turned them into true players just by his will to win." LOL!!! B/C scrubs??? So Michael never had help? Please tell me how many titles he won without one of the 50 greatest players. Um...oh yea Scottie Pippen. Please let me know how many titles he won without Scottie. Because I remember Lebron taking the Cav's to the finals with Mo Williams...The best player that played on the Cav's during the Kings era was an old Shaq, an old Antwan Jamison and Larry Hughes. But lets forget Scottie for a second. Ron Harper was a 20 ppg player before he went to the Bulls to let Mike take all the shots...? NO? check my stats. Ok so lets forget Harper for a sec. Dennis Rodman will probably go to the hall of fame. NO?...Actually yea. And by the way...Horace Grant B/C player in his 2nd year and on. Averaged 13 and 8 homie! See you cant put up numbers when 23 has the ball. Oh and yea and having Phil Jackson doesnt cou ...
Congrats to the Miami Heat Dream Team 2012. But for the record... Lebron James, until you win with a pick up team like Bill Cartwright, Craig Hodges, John Paxson, Will Perdue, BJ Armstrong & baby sit a Dennis Rodman... You are no Michael Jordan my friend! Yes he had Scottie Pippen but he came from no where, and MJ helped that man to greatness! MJ23 best of ALL TIME!
Here's the deal, I'm not a big Heat fan but I'm getting tired of people discrediting them. Lebron earned this. The season/playoffs were not fixed. Also, Michael Jordan + Magic Johnson + Larry Bird is no where close to Lebron + D.Wade + Bosh... quit insulting those legends with comparing them to the Miami Big 3. It's really equivalent to Lebron + Durant + Kobe and that's the dumbest team I've ever heard of. Also, Michael Jordan had Dennis Rodman, who was way better than Bosh, and he also had Pippen who is comparable (not quite as much of an all-star) to D. Wade. So hush, children. I'm glad the season is over, I'm ready to see some USA all-stars dominate the world in London!
So finaly Lebron James an' Dwayne Wade have something to smile about, but can they be at par with the dream team of yester years like Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Shaqile O'neal and Dennis Rodman from Chicago Bulls?
idk why people hate Lebron ... I'm pretty sure Michael Jordan wouldn't have won all his rings without Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman ... Same with Kobe and Shaq ... and Paul Pierce and KG and Ray allan... people are straight up hypocrites
I had a dream that Dennis Rodman & Scottie Pippen visited me at Pitaya and Michael Jordan was getting coffee
Vado- "Lock Mics(Mikes) Like Joe Dumars" Wikipedia Joe Dumars: The following year, he won accolades during the Eastern Conference Finals when, with Dennis Rodman, he was a cornerstone of coach Chuck Daly's "Jordan Rules" defensive playbook, which forced the Chicago Bulls to change their offensive strategy to include less of Michael Jordan and more of the other members of the team. According to Jordan, Dumars was the best defender he faced in the NBA.
For all the Michael Jordan romanticists, here is a fun fact you probably were too young to remember. Jordan’s Bulls lost in the Eastern Conference Finals three straight times to the Pistons (1988, 1989, 1990) and he was considered an athletic marvel who could not win the big one — before finally breaking through in 1991. And when he finally won it all, it was because they had the best coach (Phil Jackson) best rebounder (Dennis Rodman) best number 2 guy (Scottie Pippen) and best Euro Player (Tony Kukoc). So ease up on all the MJ didn’t need to do this or that talk …. MJ did this and that.
is not an NBA fan (I prefer college and WNBA) so unless Michael Jordan, Magic, Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone, Steve Kerr (or even Dennis Rodman...ha) mysteriously end up on the court, I more than likely won't watch a game in its entirety for a very long time. :)
1990's Bulls takes on the 2012 Heats and this is probably it will look like. Scottie Pippen looks at Lebron James and says, "I can handle him in my sleep" Michael Jordan stares at Dwayne Wade and says, "Are you $h!ttin me?!? You think you are better than me!?!" Dennis Rodman pats Chris Bosh's head and says, "Watch and learn son."
Larry Bird had Robert Parish and Kevin McHale which both were all-Stars, Michael Jordan had Scottie Pippen in earlier year then later acquired Ron Harper and Dennis Rodman, which all were all stars, Magic Johnson had Kareem Abdul Jabar, James Worthy...Kobe had Shaq!! Why is everybody hating on Lebron James why? I want to see him win a ring. I hope they blow Indiana out tonight.
Look out Knicks...Starbury is the point guard on a Championship team.and has a statute a la Michael Jordan
According to all of the die hard Michael Jordan fans MJ could score like Wilt, have the post game of Hakeem Olajuwon, the rebounding ability of Dennis Rodman, the defense to stop a rhino in it's tracks, and the winning pedigree of Bill Russell. No MJ is not perfect and yes Kobe does do things better than he did you just have to deal with it.
Magic & Bird: A Courtship of Rivals really sheds light on how Earving and Larry were not only 2 of the greatest basketball players ever, but how uniquely similar and different they were to each other and how that fueled them in ways no other basketball player could achieve (Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman being 2 exceptions off the top of my head). Such a good documentary.
Dennis Rodman, Jesse James, Tommy Lee. Three guys with a degree of success in what they do. They are also known to be the bad *** bad boys with tattoo. I said this before, I have nothing against tattoo. Question is do you think these guys are as bad *** if they have clean skin? Or the tattoo help define them and make then cooler than they are? Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Ferdinand Porsche and Phil Collins are better than these guys in what they do. So tattoo or no tattoo, I think tattoo make you cooler than you would be without it, but the real deals don't need them to make their image.
My oh my how the NBA has gotten so soft these days. Trash talking is apart of the game yet it warrants techs and ejections?? Wish it was still back in the 80s and 90s where a good hard foul didn't have people all sensitive. How I miss Charles Oakley, Charles Barkley, Pat Ewing, Bill Laimbeer, Rick Mahorn, Dennis Rodman, Xavier McDaniels, Kurt Rambis, Kevin Mchale, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, The Magic Man, the list goes on and on. Those guys played the game like men, this league nowadays is too pussified (lol) the only ones still left from the era before NBA basketball was doomed are Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, Metta World (oh *** Ron Artest), Ben Wallace, Paul Pierce, Kurt Thomas, Marcus Camby. There are more but those are the ones I can think of who are still here.
I miss my old basketball team. The Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan, Horace Grant, Scottie Pippen even Dennis Rodman and his drama prone self and who could forget the best coach in the world Phil Jackson. That was a basketball team now a days all the game is about now is how much u make and petty jealously. We need a team like the bulls back that was good old fashion teamwork. No offense to the great players in the league now.
You can compare Kobe to Michael Jordan if you want to..its comparing him to Dennis Rodman..IT DOESNT MATTER! MICHAEL IS THE BEST OF ALL TIME
I swear to Michael Jordan that Britney Griner and Dennis Rodman should get married.
Michael Jordan is black, Dennis Rodman is a ***
Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan, and Dennis Rodman. YEA WHAT NOW!?!?!?! I know my own team >:)
