Today, I proudly wore one of my Miami Heat jerseys. Four NBA FINALS in a row and WINNING two of them is amazing. THANKS Lebron James, Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, Chris Anderson, Ray Allen, Shane Battier, Michael Beasley, Mario Chalmers, Norris Cole, Toney Douglas, Justin Hamilton, Udonis Haslem, James Jones, Rashard Lewis and Greg Oden for giving us a GREAT year of Basketball and taking us to FOUR NBA FINALS in a row. You did something that Dan Marino never could do and that is WIN the biggest and final game of the sesson.
Changes are good. : Miami Heat big man Chris Andersen will decline his of his $1.45 million player option for next season and become a free agent, according to Yahoo Sports' Marc Spears. Miami's supporting cast could look quite different in a few months. Guard Ray Allen said he still loves playing, but is considering retirement after 18 seasons. Forward Shane Battier is retiring after 13 seasons. Free-agent point guard Mario Chalmers told Yahoo Sports he would like to re-sign with the Heat, but he struggled in the postseason and lost his starting job in Game 5. Forward-center Chris Andersen will opt-out of his contract to become a free agent, a source said. Longtime Heat forward Udonis Haslem has a contract option for next season. Sharp-shooting forward Rashard Lewis is a free agent also, and the Heat will have competition for his services, a source said.

There is absolutely no doubt that Lebron James is far and away the best player in the NBA. However, Udonis Haslem is my favorite Heat player. The guy sits on the bench most of the year but when called upon he's a warrior; he had one helluva game against the moribund Pacers. In fact, unless you happen to be a Lebron hater, you have to love the Miami Heat. Hands down, the classiest franchise in the NBA with perhaps the best owner in major American sports. There are no egos on the team. From Haslem, to the Bird Man to James Jones -- these guys are all about doing whatever it takes to win.
Wow Miami Heat made one trade at the deadline to free up money so they can sign a player if he is brought out of his contract that's wonderful not. Dwyane Wade is injury prone & he can't play all the time so what a waste of money & Ray Allen can't hit a three to save his life this year & Udonis Haslem don't at all & Miami Heat is paying alot to have him sit the bench that's so freaking awesome not. Miami Heat is paying James Jones to hit three's all day & he don't even play at all *** that's great. Miami Heat needed a SG like a Evan Turner or a Brandon Rush or a Eric Gordon or a DeMar DeRozan to step in & attack the basket & help Lebron James & a PF to rotate with Bosh like a Jordan Hill or a Jeff Green or a Glen Davis or a Jarvis Varnado or a Thaddeus Young or a Thomas Robinson or a Arnett Moultrie & C like a B.J. Mullens or a Andre Drummond or a Omer Asik or a Tyler Zeller or a Kosta Koufos or a Spencer Hawes so he can rotate Chris "The Birdman" Andersen & Greg Oden so Chris Bosh | MIA can move back to ...

Heat never trail Hawks, open preseason with win October 7, 2013 MIAMI -- Chris Bosh scored 21 points on 7-for-8 shooting, Lebron James scored nine and the two-time defending Champion Miami Heat opened the preseason with a 92-87 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night. Roger Mason Jr. scored 14 points and Rashard Lewis added 11 for the Heat, who had what once was 22-point lead trimmed to two in the final seconds but never trailed. Miami played without Dwyane Wade, Udonis Haslem, Chris Andersen, Michael Beasley and Greg Oden. Mike Scott led the Hawks with 13 points. Paul Millsap added 12, Al Horford had 10 points and nine rebounds and DeMarre Carroll scored 10. Atlanta lost forward Gustavo Ayon late in the first quarter with a right shoulder injury. The Hawks said he would be evaluated again Tuesday. Bosh had 19 points in 14 first-half minutes, helping Miami to a 49-30 lead at the break.

I want to congratulate the San Antonio Spurs, and their fans all across the country on a fantastic 2012-2013 NBA season. For those of you who are TRUE Spurs fans, I am sorry for your loss. Your team played a great series, pushing the Miami Heat to the limit in a very professional NBA finals. As everyone from players, coaches, and fans tries to find comfort in loosing game 7, hold your head high, and look at the season as a great one. The series was much better than an episode of the Sopranos. Tim Duncan, I appreciate you my man! To the City of Miami, a BIG, BIG, BIG congratulations to you guys on your third NBA title. Lebron Jame, Dwayne Wade, Mario Chalmers, Shane Battier, Chris Bosh, Mike Miller, Ray Allen, Chris (Birdman) Anderson, Udonis Haslem, and Noris Cole, great job! And to my my man, the "Mob Daddy", Pat Riley, you did a great job assembling a great team. To Lebron James Haters: Get off his *** *** it!!! I wish to thank the 2013 NBA Champions the Miami Heat and the members of the Miami Heat, namely, Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Ray Allen, Chris Anderson, Shane Battier. Mario Chalmers, Norris Cole, Udonis Haslem, Juwan Howard, James Jones, Rashard Lewis, Mike Miller, Jaris Varnado and Coach Erik Spoelstra for a game well played. They are 2012 and 2013 NBA Champions. They are repeat NBA Champions. Dwayne Wade has 3 Championships. Lebron James is in an elite club now with such Champions as Bill Russell and Michael Jordan.
Even with Chris Bosh being a complete no-show last night on the biggest of stages, Pat Riley cannot possibly move him anywhere. This team is incredibly close and that would be a big move that I don't think Lebron James and Dwyane Wade would like. Riley needs to bring back Chris Andersen, keep Shane Battier, Mike Miller, Ray Allen, and Udonis Haslem around, and add a banger who has some athleticism. I don't know who or when or where from but it's a move that needs to happen. Bosh's perimeter game is too powerful for this team and helps our offense get space, even when he's not scoring. Congratulations to the Miami Heat. We shouldn't yet be discussing next season but that's the nature of the beast. GO HEAT!!!
Gator greats Mike Miller and Udonis Haslem earned their second straight NBA championship with the Miami Heat.
BREAKING: Lebron James will play as the CENTER of the Miami Heat!! Udonis Haslem is out of the starting lineup!! Lebron James will challenge one of the best PF in the league, Tim Duncan. many HATERS of Miami Heat; whether they win or lose, folk jus shutup and get over yourselves, PLEASE!!! And no, I am NOT a bandwagon person.. *** I liked Miami when Pat Riley had Erik Spoelstra as an Assistant Coach and there were people like Alonzo Mourning, Eddie House, Travis Best, Brian Grant...jus to name a few! Then Dwayne Wade and Udonis Haslem came in together; *** Lamar Odom played with em before and of course we all know when it was Shaq and Wade!!! Come on people, am I on the bandwagon? I THINK NOT!!! Im my own person, will never do what others do! And too, Lebron is my man, but I liked Dwade 1st and he will always be first in my book even tho King James is the best in the league currently...cant let him take my fav spot!!! OAN: Bouta go in work...holla at yall in the PM!!!

If the Miami Heat takes another beatdown like they did last night the NBA finals should not be televised any longer. The Heat's age is starting to show .Shane Battier 96, Ray Allen 77, Mike (Injury) Miller 72, Chris Andersen 86, Udonis Haslem - a young 67 .in reality, they're older than the spurs. Spurs in 6 ...GO HEAT. begins day one of our battle...Miami Heat v. San Antonio Spurs. Funny...despite all we have accomplished this season..with the obvious evolution that our ENTIRE team has made...and ignoring the fact that we have...THE...greatest current player in the league...playing with one of the best 2 gaurds in the league(1st round Hall Of Famer) and a great hybrid power forward/Center/Small Forward in Chris Bosh...yes...Chris Bosh! Add Ray Allen..Mario Chalmers,Shane Battier,Udonis Haslem, the BIRDMAN...and a host of other pure shooters just waiting for their chance on the bench...People are saying we are the like it! Motivation for the hounds...MIAMI STAND UP! BRING THE HEAT! WE READY! BIG 3 ON DECK!
I love how I go to the gym and every other person is rocking a Miami Heat jersey. I don't remember seeing those when Jason Williams and Udonis Haslem were some of the biggest names on the roster.
A position-by-position look at the matchups in the NBA finals between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs: CENTER: Chris Bosh vs. Tim Duncan. Bosh had two strong games against the Spurs this season, averaging 20.5 points and 10.5 rebounds, and will focus more on that than his difficult Eastern Conference Finals against Indiana, when he shot under 38 percent and averaged a measly 4.3 rebounds. Tony Parker does most of San Antonio's offensive damage now, but Duncan showed he's still their man at the biggest moments in the Western Conference finals, twice dominating the overtime periods in a four-game sweep of Memphis. Edge: Spurs. POWER FORWARD: Udonis Haslem vs. Tiago Splitter. Neither will score often, but the veteran Haslem had a pair of big performances in the East finals, scoring 17 points in one victory, 16 in another, and shooting 8 for 9 in both. Splitter often converts when he gets it, making 58 percent of his shots in the postseason, and scored 18 points in the Spurs' regular-season visit to Miam ...
James scores 30, Heat take Game 5, 90-79 MIAMI (AP) -- There will be no win-or-else Game 6 in the Eastern Conference Finals for the Miami Heat this season. Lebron James saw to that, and now the reigning champions are one victory from a third straight trip to the NBA Finals. James finished with 30 points, eight rebounds and six assists,Udonis Haslem made his last eight shots on the way to a 16-point night, and the Heat used a dominant third quarter to turn things around and beat the Indiana Pacers 90-79 in Game 5 on Thursday. Mario Chalmers scored 12 points and Dwyane Wade added 10 for the Heat, who lead the series 3-2 and will look to close it out at Indiana on Saturday night. The Heat ousted the Pacers in six games in a second-round matchup last season. Paul George had 27 points and 11 rebounds for the Pacers, who got 22 points from Roy Hibbert and 17 from David West. The Pacers led by as many as seven at one point, but had no answer for the Heat in the third, getting outscored 30-13 in the period, inclu ...
The LeBron Heat-excuse me.Miami Heat took a commanding 3-2 lead in the Eastern Conference Championship series with a convincing 90-79 smackdown of the Pacers Thursday night. Lebron James took control of the game after halftime- outscoring Indiana 16 to 13 and Udonis Haslem continued his torrid shooting from the baseline as Miami pulled away to erase the Pacers four point lead. I can't help but laugh when I listen to a bias Reggie Miller calling the game and Moe, Larry and Curly {Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley and Shaquille Oneal} in the studio, It's always "The Pacers didn't play good defense" or "Indiana is turning the ball over too much" instead of "Miami is executing well on offense" or "The Heat's pressure defense is forcing Indiana into numerous turnovers". Their distain for Miami is so obvious that their efforts to remain neutral with their comments is an exercise in futility. Kenny Smith commented that there is no way Miami can win multiple championships with a team that finished at the bottom of the ...

And with that, we just witnessed the rebirth and birth of franchise players in Udonis Haslem for the Miami Heat (mah boys) and Paul George for the Indiana Pacers, respectively.

The Adjustment Bureau: LeBron in the Post May 27, 2013 -- 5:30 PM By Brian Martin Playoff basketball is all about adjustments -- both in-game and between games -- and typically the team or coach that makes the best adjustments wins. During Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, coach Erik Spoelstra and the Miami Heat made the strategic move to put Lebron James in the post and have him either create a shot for himself or his teammates.'s Steve Aschburner has a great feature on LeBron's post game in Game 3 that you should definitely check out. Here are, we want to see the numbers behind the adjustment. So we went to the video tape to investigate. My take - For all the Lebron James haters. Maybe he made a poor choice in how elected to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers.personally I agree, but at the end of the day, Lebron James, Dwayne Wade Chris Bosh and his team mates deserve & has proven to be the 2011-2012 NBA Champions. My congrats to the Miami Heat players and their organization for winning the NBA Championship...honorable mentions to Shane Battier, Mario Chalmers, Mike Miller & Udonis Haslem. I'm especially happy for one of the former Fab 5 member at 39 yrs of age - Juwon Howard who I had the pleasure of meeting at a youth basketball camp in Greensboro, NC. Congrats Enjoy-From a Diehard SPURS fan. Kenny Burd.
1ST and 2ND about Miami Heat championship yesterday: -1st triple double of King James in the NBA Finals, the last person to do it was Michael Jordan, having back-to-back triple double games in 1991. -Probably the first and last championship for Mike Miller (he will be retiring) -7th ring of Pat Riley, currently the President and GM of Miami Heat. He is a former player and coach as well for LA Lakers. He coached the Heat who won the 2006 NBA Finals. -1st championship for Lebron James and Chris Bosh. -2nd championship for Dwayne Wade and Udonis Haslem. -1st championship of Juwan Howard after 17 years of playing in NBA. -Only the second championship of the Heat franchise. -1st championship of the new Heat Owner, Micky Arison. -Shane Battier was the first Duke player to win both champioships in college and in NBA. He was the second Duke player to win NBA championship, the first was Danny Ferry, with the Spurs in 2003. -Erik Speolstra was the First Asian and First Filipino-American to win the NBA championship. ...

Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Paul Pierce and Lebron James fouled out in overtime, but the Boston Celtics still had Rajon Rondo and the Miami Heat still had Dwyane Wade. Rondo scored the go-ahead bucket and Wade missed a three-pointer at the buzzer Sunday night, giving the Celtics a 93-91 win and tying the Eastern Conference Finals at two games apiece. The game went to overtime only after Miami came back from an 18-point deficit in the first half, when Pierce was knocking down shots, Ray Allen was hitting three-pointers and Rondo was dissecting the defense with sharp passes. Even Keyon Dooling got in on the act. Indeed, all was right with the Celtics until the end of third quarter when the Heat started to make a run to turn a lopsided game into a dog fight. James hit a tying three-pointer in the final minute of regulation in front of a stunned TD Garden crowd, but also passed on the final possession to Udonis Haslem, who missed a jumper. In the end, Boston emerged with its second straight win and will hea ...

Coach Erik Spoelstra said it was emphasized more since shooting 24 of 35 from the line in Sunday’s Game 4. *Mike Bibby will make his first start of the series, replacing the injured Baron Davis (knee). Knicks coach Mike Woodson said Toney Douglas, who has yet to play in the series, is the backup. *Amar’e Stoudemire said his injured left hand is improving, but he is still unable to use it to block shots or dunk with two hands. He said, “I’m still very limited with the left hand, but I’m OK.” *Already ruled out for the series, Knicks guard Jeremy Lin (knee) said he’d rather wait until he is 100 percent before returning.
