The Cleveland Cavaliers are trying to clear enough cap space to be able to offer a max contract to Lebron James. After signing Jarrett Jack to a four-year deal last summer, they haven't had quite enough room to truly offer the max deal LeBron is seeking this summer, whether he goes home to Ohio or re-signs with the Miami Heat. The Cavs appear to have cleared that hurdle in creating cap space. Marc Stein of ESPN.com is reporting the Cavs are sending Jarrett Jack and Sergey Karasev to the Brooklyn Nets; and a first-round pick and Tyler Zeller to the Boston Celtics. The Nets will send Marcus Thornton to the Celtics to complete the deal as the Cavs clear roughly $9.5 million off the books. ESPN sources say Brooklyn Nets on verge of acquiring Jarrett Jack from Cleveland in three-team deal — Marc Stein (July 9, 2014 Boston is third team in deal will acquire Tyler Zeller from Cleveland as well as future first-rounder and Marcus Thornton from Nets — Marc Stein (July 9, 2014 Three-team trade will see Nets acq ...

For the first pick of the 2017 NBA Draft, the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, or New York Knicks select George Rammah from Marquette University.
KUDOS TO THE MIAMI HEAT by Obie Usategui For all of us basketball fans, the Miami Heat's resounding victory over the Indiana Pacers last Friday night clinching the championship of the Eastern basketball Conference was all but a sight to behold. The Heat's 117-92 win over the Pacers earned them the right to yet their fourth consecutive trip to the finals against the San Antonio Spurs - becoming the First Team ever since the Boston Celtics in the mid 1980's to achieve this feat. Notwithstanding the magnanimity of the Heat's athletic triumph, for anyone who watched the six games Conference series, there were some indelible lessons to be learned which candidly could be applied by all of us in our daily lives, to wit, I thought the series proved, one more time, that "class" and "character" are just as much a part of winning in life as "talent" is, perhaps more. Arguably, the Heat's Lebron James will go down in history as one of the best that ever played the game. There are, if you will, many players who cann . ...
Everyone knows I'm a college basketball fan!! University of North Carolina Chapel Hill... I really don't watch the NBA (every now and then) but I must say this years playoffs have been pure great!!! After the Miami Heat beat the Boston Celtics in the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals, Dwyane Wade thought Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett were out of his life for good. Instead, here come KG and Pierce again for yet another long Playoff war with the Heatles.
The Miami Heat won their 9th straight playoff series on Monday. They are looking to become the First Team since the Boston Celtics (1984-87) to make four straight Finals appearances. They will face the winner of the TOR/BKN series. Can they stay hot in the second round?...Press play below!
Hi Jordan Sylver , I hope when you read this you are in a good mood, Id like to remind you, from when I've wrote this note, I bet you last in NBA2K12 and still undefeated by you in FIFA 13&14. Unfortunately, Due to my rookie status at the start of my NBA playing career, I wasn't as equipped and finely tuned as yourself. During this period, you were able to defeat Me as the Boston Celtics against your Miami Heat. The 1st quarter wasn't a great start by myself, it ended 54-39 to you. In the 2nd quarter, yet again you didn't disappoint. Winning the quarter 59-43. The Last two quarters were a completely different story, as my team recharged their batteries and came up with a different sort of attack(scrap defending). The 3rd Quarter ended up 50-46 to you, slowly but surely i was on track to close the lead you created in the first two quarters. THE GAME PLAN WAS WORKING. 163-128, me needing to score 35 more points than you. in my head this was possible after my last quarter performance. THE FINAL QUATER, My .. ...

Can anyone answer this question? NBA teams are always connected to a city. We have the New York Knicks, the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics. Why is Oakland's team called the Golden State Warriors?
Lebron James scored 11 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter, Chris Bosh added 16 and the Miami Heat blew an 18-point lead before rallying to beat the Boston Celtics 93-86 on Tuesday night.

NBA Trade: The Warriors acquired Jordan Crawford and reserve MarShon Brooks from the Boston Celtics, sending Toney Douglas to the Miami Heat in a three-team trade:
The Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, and Boston Celtics executed a 3-team trade! The trade is as follows: The Warriors send Point Guard Toney Douglas to the Heat; the Heat send center Joel Anthony, a 1st round pick they got from the 76ers, and a 2nd round draft pick to the Celtics; and the Celtics send Shooting Guards MarShon Brooks and Jordan Crawford to the Warriors. Thoughts?
News update: Joel Anthony, once finding out he was traded to the Boston Celtics, locked himself in the Miami Heat locker room refusing to leave.

Going to the Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics game in Miami on November 9th for my birthday. If anybody is going or in Miami, let me know. We will get together and have a drink!
A couple NBA teams we know is not going to the finals this year the Boston Celtics the LA Lakers Chicago Bulls the bucks and more . "BUT THE MIAMI HEAT THEY'RE GOING BACK" WHAT'S GOOD
Heat looking for 4th straight Finals trip October 22, 2013 MIAMI -- Anytime an NBA franchise is trying to do something only previously done by the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers, that's rarefied air. That's what the Miami Heat are trying to reach this season. After going to the NBA Finals in each of the past three seasons -- winning the last two titles -- the Heat now aim to join an exclusive club. Only the Celtics, from 1957-66 and again from 1984-87, and the Lakers, from 1982-85, have made at least four consecutive trips to the championship series. "It would mean everything, man," said Heat forward Lebron James. "First of all, it means that I'm doing my part and I'm helping our team get better. It would mean everything to our team. That's what we're here for. We work our tails off every day. If it can pay off with another Finals appearance, we'd represent the Eastern Conference the best way we can." Miami was taken to the limit twice in last season's playoffs, needing to prevail in Game 7s to bea ...

Vote For Greatest People in Miami Heat History are the most important people in Miami Heat history? You will vote from now until August when we will publish the final results. You can vote for up to 20 people and as many times as you want. This is an important question, as the Heat have been to four NBA Finals in eight seasons, and have won three. This franchise that was born in 1988 is well on its way to joining the likes of the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls and NBA royalty. Some background: The Heat has two members in the NBA Hall of Fame - Pat Riley and Gary Payton. And Gary Payton doesn't count, really. The Heat has had nine people selected to the NBA All-Star Game either as a player or coach: Dwyane Wade (9x), Alonzo Mourning (5x), Shaquille O'Neal (3x), Lebron James (3x), Chris Bosh (3x), Tim Hardaway (2x), Anthony Mason (1x), Stan Van Gundy (as coach in 2005) and Erik Spoelstra (as coach in 2013). Lebron James won two MVP's as a member of the Heat, as well as two Finals MVP's ...
Brad Stevens hired as Head Coach of Boston Celtics | The Point Forward - SI.com
In a surprise, the Boston Celtics announced they have hired Butler Bulldogs Head Coach Brad Stevens as Doc Rivers' successor.
Greg Oden will likely choose from a group of suitors that includes the San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics and Memphis Grizzlies, a source close to Oden told ESPN.com.
-Boston Celtics former star Ray Allen wins NBA championship with Miami Heat -Celtics lose star coach Doc Rivers -Celtics lose star players Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce -New England Patriots star player Aaron Hernandez arrested. -Boston Bruins lose in the NHL Finals All in one week. Not the best time to be a Boston Sports fan.
Who saw the draft for NBA last night? Alot of trades go into mixing things up. I can already tell that 2014-2015 season going to be interesting. Three teams I'm rooting for is Boston Celtics for having Rajon Rondo and Kris Humphries on the Celtics now Brooklyn Nets for having Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. But first and foremost my beloved two time champions the Miami Heat.
Smh!! That already BIG news rumors this Boston Celtics agree three players sent trade to Brooklyn Nets. Starting line ups this Deron William, Joe Johnson, Paul Pierre, KG, B.Lopez and sixth man J.Terry here will could chance beat Miami Heat
So the Boston Celtics went out and the Miami Heat won, the Boston Bruins lost last night gave Chicago Blackhawks the cup, and don't even get me started on the New England Patriots so maybe it is the end of the world well at least in the sports world... Only one hope left Boston Red Sox
if you see your favorite team . Miami Heat. OKC Thunder. San Antonio Spurs. Los Angeles Lakers. Los Angeles Clippers. Boston Celtics
Doc Rivers will coach the LA Clippers. The Clippers trading an unprotected first round draft pick in 2015 to the Boston Celtics.
waao Boston Celtics let go Doc Rivers smh lol fisrt perkins now this dumb move.
I will grant that the Miami Heat are the NBA Champs for 2013...BUTT: Game 6 made Dennis Rodman look like a prophet when he said that this Miami Heat team would have been "average" against the teams of the 80's. This year's Spurs team looked like the "over-the-hill" gang, with "old men" like Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker, practically schooling the "Prime-Time" combo of Bosh, Wade, and James. Compare the Heat to these teams of the 80's, and YOU be the Judge. ENJOY!! 1986-87 Lakers. Starters: Byron Scott, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy, A.C. Green. Bench: Mychal Thompson, Michael Cooper, Kurt Rambis, Wes Matthews, Adrian Branch, Billy Thompson, Mike Smrek. 2.)1985-86 Boston Celtics. Starters: Robert Parish, Kevin McHale, Larry Bird, Dennis Johnson, Danny Ainge. Bench: Bill Walton, Scott Wedman, Jerry Sichting. 3.) 1988-89 Detroit Pistons. Starters: Isiah Thomas, Bill Laimbeer, Joe Dumars, Rick Mahorn, Vinnie Johnson . Bench: Dennis Rodman, John Salley, James Edwards, Mark Aguirre. 4.) 1982 . ...
Ladies and gentlemen, what we are all witnessing history right in front of us. Vets in their prime, the Miami Heat have perfected the art of unity. Mind you, this is not the most dominant team that we’ve seen in NBA history. During their historic 24 game win streak, The Heat have led by 10 or more by the fourth quarter 12 times, including their recent victory against the rival Boston Celtics. No, this team isn’t truly dominant yet. *** I wouldn’t even call them truly clutch. Once again, the Miami Heat is a unit. This is what makes this team so dangerous, and as of right now, impossible to stop. Think about all the units in history that were dangerous; Ghangis Kahn, the Spartans from 300, and if you’re into Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z, then the Red Army may come to mind. As comical as all of this may sound, Miami is playing at an unreal, nearly cartoonish/ video game like pace. The biggest question that we’ve seemed to come up with is who will be able to stop them. However, I don’t believe t . ...

Hold onto your hats folks; we've got a game 7 in the N.B.A. finals... The wiley veterans vs. the hot shot Heat. There's no way this eternal Boston Celtics fan could ever cheer for the Miami Heat - all you have to do is watch the replay of one the game's best ever free throw shooters (Ray Allen) make two clutch free throws to seal the deal and not a single one of his teammates gives him a high five. Basketball is a team sport Miami...
[OPINION] Why Miami Heat is still MOST HATED team in NBA?!? ☞ Lebron James (*a SUPERSTAR, left Cleveland Cavaliers & JOINED Miami, NOT via trade) ☞ Chris Bosh (*a SUPERSTAR, left Toronto Raptors & JOINED Miami, via sign-and-trade) ☞ Ray Allen (*an ALL-STAR, left Boston Celtics & JOINED Miami, NOT via trade) ☞ MOST of them FLOP more than Ginobili does (*actors on court!) ☞ MOST of them disrespects their Head Coach Erik Spoelstra (*he sometimes gets shoved!) ☞ Dwayne Wade once said "99% of your HATERS either owe you or don't know you! Tell them to rest in peace cause they are obviously dying to be you!" ☞ Chris Bosh talks a lot when he scores (*his mouth opens up so wide!) ☞ The Heat play with so much confidence that, at times, it seems like they are more concerned with how they look than winning the game at hand. ☞ Your friends and Family are rooting for the Miami Heat even though they don’t know a lot about the Heat. (*ask them a simple question and they don’t know the answer) ☞ Ev ...
The 36-point margin of victory is the third-largest by any team in NBA Finals history. Only the 1998 Chicago Bulls (42-point win in Game 3 vs Utah in 1998) and the 2008 Boston Celtics (39-point win in Game 6 vs LA Lakers) have larger wins in the Finals. The 36-point loss is also the largest postseason loss in Miami Heat franchise history. The Spurs led by as many as 37 in this wire-to-wire victory. The Heat never led, and only tied the game twice. The largest NBA Finals loss by a team that went on to win the title was 34 points, by the 1985 LA Lakers against the Boston Celtics. If the Heat are to come back and win this series, they would set a new mark for the largest single-game loss overcome in a Finals series.
About the NBA, one thing about NBA Champions they have a great Center on their team. The great Boston Celtics had Bill Russel, Bird's Celtics had Robert Parish, Magic's Lakers had Jabbar, 3 peat lakers had Shaq, Kobe's Lakers had Pau Gasol. And the list goes on. Only Jordan's Chicago Bulls had no All Star Center (They only had a starting Center, Bill Cartwright and Luc Longley on each 3 peat teams). Coming close to Jordan's Bulls is Lebron's Miami Heat, they had an All Star Center Chris Bosh but he is not a legit Center, he is more of a Power Forward like Dirk. Miami Heat is an undersized team. Spurs is a bigger team with an All Star Center Tim Duncan and young role players. When it comes to average age, the Heat is much older than the Spurs. When it comes to coaching, Pop is more brilliant than Spo. With 4 rings to prove that against Spo's one ring. The Heat beat the Thunder in the Finals last year because Durant had no Scoring Center behind him. The basketball gods are leaning toward the Spurs on win .. ...
Christopher "Mad Dog" Russo says this Miami Heat team is not great, they aren't anywhere near great. Do you agree, or are the Heat a "great" team?
I wonder where all the Miami Heat haters are watching game 1? We are competing for a third straight NBA title and ya'll talking bout you're better, please explain how. Three straight finals appearances and a different Opponent each time. Either we are consistently Good or the rest of the teams are consistently inconsistent. Either way, Hi Haters.
Game 7 of East finals sets TNT ratings record Posted Jun 4, 2013 4:32 PM New York (AP) -- With the Miami Heat playing in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, fewer television viewers tuned in than last year. The Heat's 99-76 win over the Indiana Pacers on Monday night still drew the highest rating ever for an NBA game on TNT with a 7.1. The 11.5 million viewers were down from 13.3 million for Miami's Game 7 victory over the Celtics last season on ESPN. Boston is a much larger market than Indianapolis, and the Celtics have more of a national following than the Pacers. That decisive game was also more competitive than Monday's, when the Heat led by 15 points at halftime. Ratings measure the percentage of U.S. homes with televisions tuned to a program.- mao ni pasabot nako nimo Bruce James Obiña, Froiland Curato, dako ug halin ang NBA hehehehe

Gym time and Rolling like the Heat! Heat win 18th straight, roll past Pacers 105-91 By TIM REYNOLDS MIAMI (AP) -- It's not a Lebron James winning streak. It's a Miami Heat winning streak. If there was any confusion on that point, the reigning NBA champions might have cleared that up Sunday night. Mario Chalmers scored 26 points, Chris Bosh added 24 and the Heat won their 18th straight game, easily topping the Indiana Pacers 105-91 - even with James scoring only a season-low 13, yet clearly helping control play with seven assists and six rebounds. ''That's the thing about our team,'' Chalmers said. ''We can click on all cylinders.'' The streak ties the seventh longest in NBA history, and is the league's best since the Boston Celtics won 19 straight in November and December 2008. ''We just did what we're supposed to do,'' said Dwyane Wade, who added 23 points and six steals for Miami. ''Win at home.'' Ray Allen added 11 for Miami (47-14), which now has a victory over every NBA team this season. The Heat had ...

Indiana Pacers vs Miami Heat Saturday 02 February 2013 02:00 | ESPN (230) On 18 Feb, February, ESPN brings you is live coverage of the glittering 2013 NBA All-Star Game, one of the season’s most entertaining events, plus more LIVE coverage of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Regular Season. And the question on everyone’s lips is whether any Eastern team can keep the defending champion Miami Heat and star Lebron James out of the next NBA Finals. Experts have pointed to the revamped Boston Celtics as potential contenders in the East, joined by the Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls (that is, if injured Derek Rose is back by mid-season). Out West, the Los Angeles Lakers always depend heavily on Kobe Bryant, but the addition of stars Dwight Howard and Steve Nash should make them even more competitive. Last year’s losers to the Heat in the NBA Finals, the Oklahoma City Thunder, still have scoring leader Kevin Durant out front, but will need to play sharp to stay ahead of the Lakers, ...
David Thorpe writes the Boston Celtics have quietly improved their roster so significantly that they could upend the Miami Heat.
Celtics' Rondo tears right ACL; season over BOSTON (AP) -- Boston Celtics star Point Guard Rajon Rondo will miss the rest of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. The news came during Boston's 100-98 double-overtime win over the Miami Heat on Sunday in which Ray Allen returned to his old home court for the first time. ''New guys are going to get an opportunity now,'' Boston forwardPaul Pierce said. ''These guys haven't had a chance to really showcase what they can do.'' For the past five seasons, Pierce, Allen and Kevin Garnett made up the Big Three. After Allen signed with the Heat as a Free Agent in the offseason, Rondo joined that group - and became the team leader with his ability to run the offense. He was chosen as the starting Point Guard for the Eastern Conference in the All-Star Game in Houston on Feb. 17. Now the Celtics hope he can be ready for the start of next season. ''How far is that?'' coach Doc Rivers said, ''I don't even know how long that is. Eight months? ...

It couldn’t have happened any other way. The possible final matchup of the Miami Heat and the KG-Paul Pierce-era Boston Celtics had to come down to the wire, it had to be in Boston, and it had to be low-scoring. We wouldn’t have it any other way, with the exception of a few things. The [...]

NBA is nirvana. Yes it is. Bliss. Basketball ecstasy. Ultimate happiness. The best basketball show in the universe. Make it the whole constellation. And we're just less than a week since the 2012 NBA season has begun. So many things have happened and a bunch of story lines have sprouted like mushrooms. And we will discuss them one by one. Ray Allen, James Harden, Kevin Martin and Damian Lillard (AP) Ray Allen Let's talk about Ray Allen and the (hated???) Miami Heat. If you haven't watched him earlier, the NBA's career leader in three-point shooting just nailed a booming, deafening, dagger-like triple from the corner, fouled by the Denver Nuggets' Corey Brewer, swished the bonus free throw and carried the reigning champions to a 119-116 victory. Never mind that the pass came from Lebron James. So I wonder how the Boston Celtics are feeling right now. James Harden Oh. If there's Linsanity during one fleeting stretch last season, there should be one bigger this year. And James Harden is providing the firewor ...
Miami Heat is going down this season.Good Luck to Boston Celtics! We getting it this time! :)))
Boston Celtics got blew out, Miami Heat getting blew out, and the Chicago Bulls whooped *** Lmmfao. High HATERS!
The NBA tipped off on Tuesday and the defending champs, the Miami Heat, led by reigning MVP, Lebron James, played the Boston Celtics. Weighing in on the league MVP, the ATL rapper says Kobe is still a better ball player, and he even takes a jab at LBJ. “As a basketball player, I’ll say Kobe Bryant,” Waka doesn’t say this easily, “And I hate Kobe Bryant. I feel like LeBron’s a sellout. No matter what nobody say. As a kid growing up it was never about no check or no ring. It was about, ‘I play basketball man. I’m happy because I’m in the NBA.’ Now everybody, it’s like a check and a ring.” lmao Waka Flocka going in on Lebron James!!!
WALTHAM -- Asked repeatedly after Boston Celtics practice on Thursday about his late flagrant foul against the Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade who called it "a punk play," Rajon Rondo relented. "I don't think it was a hard foul," said Rondo. He sold it a
Since the NBA season is only two games old, I am ranking the NBA teams as of right now. If you agree like. If you don't comment. (Assuming they are all healthy) 10. New York Knicks 9. Los Angeles Clippers 8. Memphis Grizzlies 7. Boston Celtics 6. Philadelphia 76ers 5. Chicago Bulls 4. Los Angeles Lakers 3. Oklahoma City Thunder 2. Miami Heat 1. San Antonio Spurs

MIAMI – He knew the moment the NBA scheduled was released that his first real action in a Miami Heat uniform would come against and Tuesday night’s season opener against the Boston Celtics was still one of the strangest nights inRay Allen‘s career.

The 2012-2013 NBA season is officially back in action kicking off with a pupuplatter of games the last two nights. The Eastern Conference Finals rematch kicked it off with the reloaded Miami Heat facing a Boston Celtics team that hopes it can find a fountain of youth again. The Heat continued their winning ways by beating the Celtics handily with the help of their new acquisition Ray Allen's 19 points off the bench. On the Western front the Los Angeles Lakers have dropped to 0-2 after losing to the Dallas Mavericks followed by the Portland Trailblazers. The lakes have four future hall of famers and it's only a matter of time until they click, although their lack of a bench is worrysome to their eventual playoff run. The Trailblazers Damian Lilliard showed why he was the 6th overall pick dropping 23 points and 11 assists, earning a starting role in his first NBA game as a pro. The passing of the torch occurred last night with Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs meeting up against the top pick of the draft ...

New York and Philadelphia are such big rivals in sports especially football with the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles. I totally disagree 100% Boston and Miami are 100% rivals in sports because the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat always fight tooth and nail and play each other in the playoffs and hate each others guts. This year especially and New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins are the only two teams that are above .500 and in South Florida we have more Boston fans than New York and Philadelphia fans combined.

Although I am and always will be a Boston Celtics, I think this year I may be rooting for the Lakers! I have always recognized that Kobe is the best in the game, I am SUPER excited for Steve Nash (my favorite player) and Dwight Howard (the sexiest player) to be Lakers!! Oh and the Miami Heat are still overrated and I still dont like Lebron! And James Harden to the Rockets?! What the *** OKC...End basketball rant
Odd to see Emeka Okafor played for Washington Wizards after he played for the former and the currently Hornets teams but it was great to see Tyler Zeller again even though he isn't on Tar Heels team anymore. It was weird to see Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis played for the Miami Heat while Jason Terry and Leandro Barbosa played for the Boston Celtics. Very unearthly to see Dwight Howard, Steve Nash, and Antawn Jamison on the Lakers team while Elton Brand, Darren Collison, and OJ Mayo are on the Mavericks team. Ooooh yeah... the basketball season is back baby!!

Out of the blue got a call from a Los Angeles radio staton wanting to talk about the history of Canadian hoops in realtionship to NBA. Every so often various media outlets contact me for such as yours truly is considered a Canadian basketball historian and have written on such for the NBA over the many years. They caught me off guard with one question though, asking to name the current eight Canadians ready to suit up in opening night action tonight in NBA. Forgot one of the eight listed here: Joel Anthony, Miami Heat; Samuel Dalembert, Milwaukee Bucks; Cory Joseph, San Antonio Spurs; Kris Joseph, Boston Celtics; Steve Nash, Los Angeles Lakers; Andrew Nicholson, Orlando Magic; Robert Sacre, Los Angeles Lakers; Tristan Thompson, Cleveland Cavaliers But a quick question. The game has not happened yet so is it part of history? So in that I forgot, I never really knew yet as it did not happen?
The tip-off of a new NBA season starts tonight as the defending champion Miami Heat take on the revamped Boston Celtics at 8pm. Come on in and grab a seat to watch the intensity. Our dinner special is our Chili Cheese Melt with fries for $8.95. The melt consists of a burger cooked to tempature, fried onions, smothered with our homemade chili and topped with cheddar cheese. You can wash all that back with $2.50 vodka all night long.
I know It's preseason but Im gonna say this about the Heat right now, They went out their and embarrassed themselfs, I mean seriously, Lebron couldn't dunk or make a *** layup, And than in the fourth quarter in over three minutes, The Heat couldn't make a shot and went 0-10 in their 10 attemps, And the worst part is the Miami Heat along with Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh lose to a team of Anthony Davis, Austin Rivers, and Al-Farouq Aminu, Are you kidding me, They need to practice and I mean practice hard, Opening night when they receive their rings and raise that championship banner and play against the Boston Celtics, They better play good and win, If they wanna be champions like they are, Than they better play like It, Because God for Bit I hope the this Heat team don't turn out like the 06-07 Heat team, Remember what happened to those guys

TNT's Charles Barkley: Celtics have legit chance to beat Miami Heat in East The Miami Heat may be the homecoming kings, but the Boston Celtics are still in the court. During a Tuesday afternoon conference call with TNT analysts Reggie Miller, Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley, all three felt strongly that the Celtics would give Lebron James' Heat a strong challenge for the Eastern Conference crown. "LeBron covers up a lot of weaknesses because he's so physically amazing, but Boston to me has a legit chance of beating them," Charles Barkley said. "I think the Miami-Boston series to me is a toss-up. Boston has great depth, they have great size in [Jared] Sullinger and Fab Melo in the draft. I think the most underrated player in the NBA is Jeff Green. I know he didn't play last year, I loved him in Oklahoma City. When he got to Boston he went late into the year so he really never got comfortable. I think he is going to be fantastic." New York has been a focal point with the inaugural season for the Brookl ...

My new favorite Basketbal team(s) are still the Boston Celtics along with the new 2012-2013 Miami Heat with Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis!!! I did hate Wade and LeBron, but I'll learn to like them once again.

Ray Allen of Boston Celtics is now the latest signing for Miami Heat
A few highlights from a Celtics perspective following Ray Allen's introductory press conference with the Miami Heat on Wednesday. * Allen praises
Since the Sonics left, I pretty much cheer for the competitiveness of the NBA games. Not really a big fan of a certain team. With this in mind and the recent signings and trades. I think the Miami Heat will be the team to beat because who they had before and recently aquiring Ray Allen and Rashad Lewis. In fact those two played for the Sonics at the same time for a few years together. Teams that will also be good are Brooklyn Nets, LA Lakers, LA Clippers, San Antonio Spurs, Oklamahoma City Thunder and Boston Celtics. And depending on the off season Chicago Bulls and NY Knicks.
Allen, Lewis sign deals with champion Heat Posted Jul 11 2012 11:14AM MIAMI (AP) -- Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis have signed their contracts with the NBA champion Miami Heat, and will be introduced in news conferences later Wednesday.Allen agreed to join the Heat on Friday. Lewis agreed to terms with Miami on Tuesday. Neither deal could be completed until the NBA's offseason moratorium expired Wednesday. Allen will make just over $3 million this season. He comes to Miami after five seasons with the Boston Celtics, who offered the NBA's all-time 3-point leader nearly twice as much money as the Heat were permitted to spend. Lewis will earn about $1.35 million from the Heat, plus another $13.7 million after getting a buyout from the New Orleans Hornets earlier this offseason.
So, what's happened recently with my favorite sports teams? Hmm. Boston Red Sox---Still sucking. Yep. Boston Celtics- My favorite player, Ray Allen, only offered a 2 year deal when everyone else the C's were after got 3 year deals. Signed with Miami Heat. Kill me. Arsenal F.C. --- Robin van Persie does not want to extend his contract because of "lack of ambition" and he didn't agree with "course planned for the club" even though Arsene Wenger and the board are trying to do everything they can to strengthen the club. If he goes, that's the second team captain lost in as many seasons... What a great week for my sports teams!
When news came that their All-Star guard and future Hall of Famer Ray Allen signed with their rivals, the Miami Heat, the Celtics were hit right in the mouth

Ray Allen leaving the Boston Celtics for the Miami Heat ends the "Big Three," but Rajon Rondo was always the straw that stirred the drink.
So the Boston Celtics tried to trade Ray Allen all season long. That means they wanted to go in a different direction. So he signs with the Miami Heat. How is he a trader when they really wanted to let him go anyway? HUH?

So Ray Allen is going to the Miami Heat despite Celtics' double-money offer. I'm sure the fans are upset. Hmmm, why leave Boston?

The Celtics have started a phenomenon with all these super teams 1st KG, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce decide to come together with the Boston Celtics and they won a championship, then D-Wade, LBJ and Chris Bosh come together and won a championship now Ray Allen for the Miami Heat, then Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudamarie and now Jason Kidd for the NY Knicks, then Chris Paul, Chauncy Billups and Blake Griffin for the LA Clippers, now Steve Nash and Kobe for the LA Lakers. ADRIAN WOJNAROWSKI Heat gave Ray Allen reason to again feel wanted The issues chasing Ray Allen out of the Boston Celtics and into the arms of their most despised opponent stacked higher and higher, and suddenly everything crystallized in the hours basketball’s most persuasive recruiter, Pat Riley, captivated him. The emperor of the Miami Heat sold Allen on never hearing his name in trade talks and a run of championships awaiting him. After all these years, Allen needed to feel wanted again, needed the recruiting, and Riles had such a willing soul sitting with him in the breeze blowing over Biscayne Bay. Ray Allen played five seasons for the Celtics and helped them win the 2008 title. (Getty Images) "He felt he was getting respect that he hadn’t gotten from [Celtics president] Danny [Ainge] and [coach] Doc [Rivers] anymore," a source close to Allen said Friday night. "…The presentation was incredible." Respect comes in different ways, but make no mistake: The Celtics had offered two years and $12 mi ...
It's hard to put into words how Ray Allen's departure from the Boston Celtics makes me feel. I've always loved Ray Allen and all 3 teams he played for until now. From a basketball standpoint, at this stage in his career, the Miami Heat make the most sense. He'll get a lot of open looks from beyond the arc and have a great shot at a second championship. That being said, his legacy in Boston definitely takes a hit. could have been hanging from the rafters along with and part of a team that restored Celtic Pride. I can't see that happening now and it's a shame.
Men Always Seek Glory Steve Nash leaving Phoenix Suns to join Kobe Bryant of Los Angeles Lakers. Rivalry may end to gain one goal. Let us see what is going to happen to Grant Hill, if he will follow Steve Nash. Ray Allen leaving Boston Celtics to join Lebron and Dwayne Wade to Miami Heat. Wise decision for only have few years in NBA and still leave the league with impact and dignity. No for money much, but for joy and contentment of the hope of winning again. Wow alot of Free Agency in the NBA this week, I guess its the end of Boston Celtics run, with Ray Allen signing with the Miami Heat. Sometimes we must know when our season is up. Next season is anybody's season with the available talent now. I hope the Lakers can get Howard or Brand to help Kobe, Bynum, and Nash. I still thought the lakers should have kept Derek Fisher but they have Nash now. Adding Grant Hill as a role will help strength the bench and help the younger players as well. it will be interesting who emerge from the NBA Draft/ interesting I say!
