Thanks for the welcome. I don't know how many are aware of Hanoi Jane's big party in Hollywood on June 5th. She's getting the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute, just like Mel Brooks last year, and Shirley McLaine they year before. I'll be there with a few friends and picket signs and POW/MIA flags. It should be a great protest with all the TV cameras there...it will be my third in the past 3 years - life is good. Thursday, June 5th- 5 PM - 6799 Hollywood Blvd - Be there aloha.

Congratulations to Mel Brooks winning the 41st Lifetime Achievement Award at the American Film Institute and very well deserved. Mr. Brooks has done things that no one has done in the industry at least to my knowledge. If anyone disputes that, please let me know I would welcome it, and Loving It! What Mel Brooks brought to the industry whether it was on TV or the Movie Screen it was bringing slap stick humor in his films and I've always admired that. What I remember the most of his films is "Blazing Saddles," and his TV series hit ''Get Smart" and one more time Loving It, that's right folks! There have been other films but I'll mention that on my Classic Film Hall Of Fame stay tuned. Thank you for reading my Shtick, Oy vey what Chutzpah! Thank you family and friends, and God Bless!
Tonight, we were supposed to go to the American Film Institute salute to Mel Brooks at the same venue as the Academy Awards. It is a Black Tie event with lots of celebrities...we just couldn't do it. We enjoyed similar tributes to Michael Douglas and Warren Beatty. We will just have to watch it on television in a few weeks.
