SAD NEWS- Veteran film and television comedic actor 'Robin Williams' was found dead in his home in Tiburon, Calif. on Monday. He was 63. The cause of death is believed to be suicide via asphyxiation, according to the Tiburon coroner’s office. Born in Chicago to a former model and an auto-industry executive, Robin McLaurin Williams attended high school and community college in Marin Country before graduating from the Juilliard School in 1973. His career exploded in the late 1970s on the strength of both his stand-up comedy act and “Happy Days” spin-off “Mork & Mindy,” which channeled his antic stream-of-consciousness style into the role of an alien on Earth. While “Mork & Mindy” was still on the air, he starred in Robert Altman’s unusual adaptation of “Popeye.” He next feature roles came as the title character in John Irving adaptation “The World According to Garp” and as Russian on the loose in Manhattan in Paul Mazursky’s “Moscow on the Hudson.” He took his career to the nex ...

I've been surprisingly grieved by Robin Williams' death. My first memory of him was when I was about 10 years old and my family was visiting my parents' best friends. At some point in the dinner party, my parents' friends wondered where their normally rambunctious son was. They soon realized the reason the house was so quiet was that their 4 year-old had been downstairs watching Robin Williams on HBO for the last hour. I loved about 2/3rds of Robin Williams movies, especially the serious ones. But, the 2/3rds I loved roughly coincided with the first 2/3rds of his movie career. I lost interest after Good Will Hunting, after which, aside from Insomnia and One Hour Photo, his singular talent seemed to be predicting the worst films of the year and then asking for a starring-role. (I hear that World's Greatest Dad is great but I haven't seen it.) But, in the mid 2000's, a friend of mine who's a pastor in San Francisco had the privilege of having Mr. Williams attend his church for a time. Though Robin was raise ...

Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Minnie Driver and Robin Williams are all exceptional. Stellan Skarsgård is brilliant as well. It deserved awards.
Fans of legendary actor and comedian Robin Williams, who died Monday, turned a bench where Williams and Matt Damon shared a scene in the classic Boston film “Good Will Hunting” into a makeshift memorial Monday night.
There’s a memorial for Robin Williams on the Public Garden bench he sat on with Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting:

I have been reading posts about Robin Williams, people quoting their favorite lines from various movies etc. Robin made me laugh, I enjoyed his kind of humor. But in Good Will Hunting there is a scene with Matt Damon. Damon says something about Williams character having lost his wife. Part of Williams response is " "You don’t know about real loss, ’cause it only occurs when you’ve loved something more than you love yourself. And I doubt you’ve ever dared to love anybody that much." That line resonated with me. Right now I am watching an ABC special about Robin Williams. They just showed part of that conversation, which takes place while they are sitting on a bench in the Boston Public Garden. And until this moment I never realized that it is the same bench that Terry and I were sitting on when he proposed to me. Wow. Just wow.
My favorite Robin Williams movie was Good Will Hunting. Him and Matt Damon did a great job together in this film.

...Or, I wish Disney would make a ghetto Good Will Hunting w/ Pop as Robin Williams and DMC as Matt Damon. Directed by Spike Lee!
Had a dream Robin Williams was my math professor and Matt Damon came to motivational speak. I'm okay with it.
If I was to ask you all in your opinion what is the greatest bit of acting in a film you've seen what would you say? For me it's between two films: Robert Downey Jr - in 'Chaplin' where he's discussing why he doesn't speak in his films and begins to do ballet. Robin Williams - in 'Good Will Hunting' where he has the deep talk with Matt Damon in the park. Two absolutely incredible scenes in my eyes!
Uh-oh. I've got that feeling again. Ive learned/conquered math. Now I think I'm Sandra Bullock in Gravity. Or Megamind. Or Einstein. Or Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting. Just waiting for Robin Williams to come around the corner and have his mind blown by my mathematical genius.
Dear God, Like Robin Williams said to Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting, "Its not your fault"...so enough with the vengeful rain and let us play football tonight. Cheers.
Allen are you as obsessed with Robin Williams as Christine is with Matt Damon? 😐
Music from 'Happy Feet 2' starring Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Alecia Moore (P!nk), Hank Azaria, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon ... Music not provided by me I own no rights to this, all music provided by Happy Feet.
but I just had a solid fifteen minute conversation on why I don't have a valentine and I feel like she's the Robin Williams to my Matt Damon
shocked you haven't already got it on your collection, the fart story Robin Williams tells Matt Damon was adlibbed
I'm trying to process the Bronco beat down and thought of Good Will Hunting. You know...the scene when Robin Williams holds Matt Damon so tenderly. Just replace that by holding every Bronco saying over and over "It's not your fault. It's not your fault."

Watched one of my favorite movies again last night; Good Will Hunting. I think the acting was great, especially by Matt Damon, Minnie Driver and Robin Williams. One of those movies where you really reflect on life as the credits roll. One of my all time favorites, hats off to Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
"f I hadn’t have gone with the Robin Williams line, I definitely would’ve mentioned what a *** I think Matt Damon is."
On this day in 1997, Good Will Hunting, a movie that will earn childhood friends Ben Affleck and Matt Damon a Best Screenplay Oscar and propel them to Hollywood stardom, premieres in Los Angeles. Good Will Hunting, which opened in wide release across America on January 9, 1998, featured Damon in the title role as a troubled math genius from South Boston. Directed by Gus Van Sant (Drugstore Cowboy, My Own Private Idaho), the film co-starred Robin Williams as Will’s psychologist and Minnie Driver as Will’s girlfriend; Affleck played Will’s best friend, Chuckie. A big box-office success, Good Will Hunting received nine Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Damon) and Best Supporting Actress (Driver) and won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar (Williams) in addition to the gold statue for Best Original Screenplay. Before the success of Good Will Hunting, Damon and Affleck had achieved some notice in Hollywood but were far from household names. Matthew Paige Damon, who w ...

UPDATE: I am benching Robin Williams and replacing him with Matt Damon. Matt Damon is my left winger. Has experience at a young age. Srong.
Matt Damon is an actor who portrays as much grace as he does machismo, but paired with Robin Williams he shines. GREAT movie.
Robin Williams was in Good Will Hunting with Matt Damon who was in Saving Private Ryan with Barry Pepper was in 25th Hour
filme foda, me fez refletir bastante: Robin Williams (Sean) is Matt Damon’s (Will) therapist in Good Will Hunting (1997). Sean: Thought about what you said to me the other day, about my painting. Stayed up half the night thinking about it. Something occurred to me… fell into a deep peaceful sleep, and haven’t thought about you since. Do you know what occurred to me? Will: No. Sean: You’re just a kid, you don’t have the faintest idea what you’re talkin’ about. Will: Why thank you. Sean: It’s all right. You’ve never been out of Boston. Will: Nope. Sean: So if I asked you about art, you’d probably give me the skinny on every art book ever written. Michelangelo, you know a lot about him. Life’s work, political aspirations, him and the pope, sexual orientations, the whole works, right? But I’ll bet you can’t tell me what it smells like in the Sistine Chapel. Oh the monologue by Robin Williams to Matt Damon in Will Hunting on the park bench is one of the most amazing film moments of all time! Bless... x
Yea it was and it really is. The symmetry between Robin Williams character and Matt Damon's is exquisite writing.
Somewhere, Robin Williams is consoling Matt Damon and saying "It's not your fault!"
I'm sitting here watching Happy Feet 2 with the husbond Robin Williams as Lovelace sang his behind off! Talk about surprising. I can't take Matt Damon as Bill and Brad Pitt as crazy Krill. For those adults who don't like cartoons this one has an all star cast; Sofia Vergara, Hank Azaria, Common, and Alicia ("Pink") Moore. I LOVE Sunday's.
Our hotel room has a actual props used in the great Matt Damon & Robin Williams movie Good Will Hunting.

I want to be bros with Leo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Robin Williams and Mark Wahlberg. But actually.
Matt Damon doesn’t need to finish his monologue. He has famous people like Robin Williams to do that for him
Matt Damon hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live. The best. He had Sheryl Crow as his band leader, Andy Garcia as his Guillermo, Ben Affleck as his prop card guy, Robin Williams as his monologue and guests - Demi Moore, Reece Witherspoon, Amy Adams, Gary Oldman and Nicole Kidman. Then Sarah Silverman - Jimmy's ex. Maybe he should host more often! LOL
Thanks to YouTube I was able to see the awesomeness of last nights Jimmy Kimmell show! Pretty epic! Matt Damon hijacked it from Kimmell, and had boatloads of A list celebs on it.Robin Williams even did the monologue!
Kudos to the great night of tv last night.Matt Damon took control of Jimmy Kimmel's Live show, and had guests: Robin Williams, Andy Garcia, Sally Field, Reese Withersoon, Nicole Kidman, Gary Oldman, Demi Moore, Sarah Silverman, John Krasinski, Bem Affleck, and bandleader, Sheryl Crow.what a show! Funny as *** a total put-down in jest of KImmel, who for the past ten years signed off his show, "My aplogies to Matt Damon. We ran out of time." Hilarious spoof of late night tv show...a great humourous hour of tv! Anybody out there among my friends see it?
Cool--Matt Damon crashes Kimmel and has Andy Garcia, Ben Affleck, Cheryl Crowe, and Robin Williams on!

Who else can bring together Andy Garcia, Robert DeNiro, Ben Affleck, Gary Oldman, Nicole Kidman, Sheryl Crowe, Sarah Silverman, Robin Williams, Amy Adam and a bunch of other people I'm probably forgetting!! And there's probably still some other people coming out too!
What's with the gazillion stars doing quick appearances on Jimmy Kimmel? Not that I 'm complaining. Matt Damon hosting..Ben Affleck, Andy Garcia, Robin Williams, Amy Adams, Nicole Kidman, Gary Oldman, w/Sheryl Crow as "band director". Plus taped cameos from DiNiro, Emily Blount, Don Cheadle, Sally Field and more. Geez.. And more are planning to show up! Sheryl will be debuting new single shortly.nice accident tuning in!
Jimmy Kimmel Live is off the damned hook tonight! Matt Damon hijacked the show..and in the first 30 seconds...(in order of appearance) Andy Garcia, Cheryl Crowe, my good buddy Ben Affleck, Robin Williams, Sally Fields, and John Krasinski

That was me doing Good Will Hunting, thank you, thank you. Jess was doing a really bad Robin Williams. I was Matt Damon.
It does! Top 6 or 7 for me. The scene at the park with Matt Damon & Robin Williams is so great. IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!
It's easily Matt Damon's and Robin Williams' best work.
Re-heard the last speech of "The American Beauty" by Kevin Spacey and one from the adorable Robin Williams (with Matt Damon) in "Goodwill Hunting". Got charged, the former inspired me to collect create and achieve the beautiful moments of life and the later taught me to be practical put forth the best I got. Perhaps our dreams need need a float, the float needs a feel, the feel needs a passion and the passion needs a dream.
Celebrities that play dungeons and dragons: Mike Meyers claimed to play D&D on Inside the Actor’s Studio. Vin Diesel, a longtime player, wrote an introduction to the book Thirty Years of Adventure: Celebrating Dungeons and Dragons. Judy Dench was reportedly introduced to the game by Vin Diesel. Matthew Lillard has played (and apparently beat) kids for charity. Basketball player Tim Duncan is a long-time player. Robin Williams has played for charity, but admits to playing at home as well. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon were introduced to the game by Kevin Smith. Daryl Hannah supposedly plays (though I could find no corroborating evidence). Jesse McCarthy and Lauren Graham have at least touched a D&D box. ctor/Director Jon Favreau (Iron Man) credits D&D for much of his storytelling prowess. Joss Whedon played D&D in college. Stephen Colbert was a big player as a kid and still plays now. Ewan McGreggor reportedly plays. John Mccain does not play, and his staff at least do not respect those who do. Will Wheaton ...

'You're a tough kid. I ask you about war you'd probably throw Shakespeare at me, right? "Once more into the breach, dear friends." But you've never been near one. If I asked you about love you'd probably quote me a sonnet. But you've never looked at a woman and been totally vulnerable. Known someone that could level you with her eyes. Feelin' like God put an angel on earth just for you...' - Robin Williams to Matt Damon from 'Good Will Hunting'
The home run that the Red Sox Carlton Fisk hit off Pat Darcy in game 6 of the 1975 World Series, was acknowledged by Red Sox fans Ben Affleck and Matt Damon in their film,"Good Will Hunting".The professor character, played by Robin Williams, has a ticket for the game on October 21st,1975,but,in a casual encounter,he meets the woman, who would become his future wife. So,he gives up the ticket. My first response, upon seeing this,"Are you f.g serious."I'm sorry, there is not a person on the planet, for whom I give up a World Series ticket. It's baseball,it's history, and, believe me,it is romance. Now,there are people, violins in hand, who would say,"You might have missed the opportunity of a lifetime."Give me the woman who says,"Here is my phone number, call me after the game, but, you are not missing the World Series on my account."Fisk's homer reverberated all over New England that night, just like the hoofbeats of Paul Revere's horse.
Good Will Hunting I've watched probably 15-18 times in my life.it's still that good..the trade offs between Robin Williams and Matt Damon are extremely calculated human dialogue ...good stuff!!!

yas Good Will Hunting on the iplayer. so rewatchable. Robin Williams isn't just gonna let Matt Damon fall through the cracks.
"Do yer like apples?". "Well how'd yer like them apples?" top performances from Robin Williams and Matt Damon.
Saw 'Good Will Hunting' film for third time last night. Absolutely brilliant acting by Matt Damon and Robin Williams. Gets better! :)
just realized the saddest thing about Good Will Hunting isn't all the abuse Matt Damon got as a kid, and how it makes it hard for him to trust girls, or how he cries when Robin Williams forces him into a tearful, bear-hug submission to tell him it isn't his fault. Even sadder is the part when Ben Affleck convinces him to go chase his beautiful, rich girlfriend across the country to Stanford, or whever, and Ben and the boys are still stuck in their meaningless, soul-sucking, greaseball jobs in a town infested with rich college know-it-all ***
Matt Damon turned 42 yesterday. He was upset about getting older, but Robin Williams kept insisting that it wasn’t Damon’s fault.
Sometimes life is like Good Will Hunting-except in real life Elliot Smith is dead, Matt Damon *** and Robin Williams is a joke thief.
Matt Damon isn't in this picture.neither is Robin Williams.

Good Will Hunting II Matt Damon drives to California, realizes Minnie Driver is gross and drives back. Tells Robin Williams it is his fault
In the movie "Good Will Hunting", Robin Williams talks to Matt Damon as a therapist and delivers some key advice about the virtues of a long and devoted marriage. That advice was meant for me in my real life. I think I'm going to die alone. I miss all my past girlfriends and one of my exes.
“Sean: My wife used to fart when she was nervous. She had all sorts of wonderful little idiosyncrasies. She used to fart in her sleep. I thought I’d share that with you. One night it was so loud it woke the dog up. She woke up and went ‘ah was that you?’ And I didn’t have the heart to tell her. Oh! Will: She woke herself up? Sean: Ah...! But Will, she’s been dead for 2 years, and that's the stuff I remember: wonderful stuff you know? Little things like that. Those are the things I miss the most. The little idiosyncrasies that only I know about: that's what made her my wife. Oh she had the goods on me too, she knew all my little peccadilloes. People call these things imperfections, but there not. Ah, that's the good stuff. ~ Robin Williams as Sean Maguire, Matt Damon as Will Hunting.”
California celebrities are heavy in the real estate market this summer. Robin Williams listed his home for sale in Villa Sorriso and Matt Damon scoops up a resort-like home in the Pacific Palisades.
Buddha and Robin Williams (or Matt Damon who wrote the dialog of Good Will Hunting) met in my head today when I was coming back from the Writing Tutor Orientation.
bout to watch the best Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Robin Williams movie ever made. Thats right through trick editing I have managed to hybrid Chasing Amy, Bourne, and Dead Poets Society all into one movie!

Good Will Hunting, one of my fav movies i think its the best iv ever seen Matt Damon act and he got to work with the amazing Robin Williams, matt and ben are allways great in there movies together :)
I have to measure back my hyperbole when I talk about this clip, but I think it is one of the greatest scenes in any movie. Not only for the brilliant acting - the way Robin Williams delivers each line, and the subtle facial expressions Matt Damon makes (without speaking) to each - but the scene is more than that... I always think of this scene when I think about social media, and the internet, and google and wikipedia, and the volumes and volumes of limitless information that people find in seconds to yell back and forth at each other online, acting like we all know so much about so many things that we have never really witnessed, or experienced, and truly know nothing about.
The scene in Good Will Hunting at the park where Robin Williams sons Matt Damon is some of the best acting I have ever seen.
Just finished watching Good Will Hunting and it gave me another reason to love Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Robin Williams.
Here is the latest installment of my diatribe against the excessive consumption of soda. Check our web site for the other installments of -• The Soda Wars-chapter 3 When History Repeats In the 1997 hit movie "Good Will Hunting", young Will (Matt Damon) is about to be introduced to Dr. Sean Maguire (a psychologist played by Robin Williams). Sean is dismissing his college class and he leaves them with the following statement, "See you Monday, we'll be talking about Freud and why he did enough cocaine to kill a small horse." If a person has not studied medicine, pharmacology, or psychology, the statement by Robin William's character would have probably gone right over their head. But for those of us who have, it may have brought a bit of a chuckle, as indeed the famous Sigmund Freud was heavily involved with cocaine. He both used cocaine and recommended its use to others. He considered it to be a new wonder drug. Freud felt it made you more alert, improved memory function, made introverts more social, save ...

From Good Will Hunting: Dialogue between Robin Williams and Matt Damon Sean: Do you have a soul mate? Will: Define that. Sean: Someone you can relate to, someone who opens things up for you. Will: Sure, I got plenty. Sean: Well, name them. Will: Shakespeare, Nietzsche, Frost, O'Conner... Sean: Well that's great. They're all dead. Will: Not to me, they're not. Sean: You can't have a lot of dialogue with them. Will: Not without a heater and some serious smelling salts.

Best monologue ever. Robin Williams from Good Will Hunting. When he's telling Matt Damon about what he doesn't know because he's just a kid
Can anyone tell me why "Good Will Hunting" is so good? Here are some of the reasons I came up with: a.) Matt Damon is a total smart alack the entire movie b.) Robin Williams' beard c.) Bahstahn accents d.) It shows it is cool to be intelligent e.) Matt Damon is sporting the Justin Hoffman hair cut, circa Birth-10th grade.

- Ha! Thank you. I'm watching Matt Damon cry on Robin Williams shoulder and wondering which of the two smells worse.
I like to think Matt Damon learned how to tell a killer story from Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting
Things I love: I love that movie Adam Sandler made about getting a woman way out of his league. I love that movie Michael Bay made about explosions. I love that song Enrique Iglesias sings about getting some action. & I love it in Patch Adams where Robin Williams hugs Matt Damon, rouses Robert DeNiro from catatonia and inspires those rich kids with poetry.
Robin Williams sets Matt Damon straight. The amazing Williams monologue sitting on the park bench by the water - in HD.
"Good Will Hunting for Red October" - Where Marko Ramius replaces Robin Williams and he and Matt Damon are *** for each other
