Sol Campbell . What a *** . " If I were white I`d have been England captain for more than ten years". The fact is he won 73 caps for England - 3 of which he captained the side. The list of players who captained the side when he played is as follows: David Platt, Tony Adams, Alan Shearer, Paul Ince (also black ), Stuart Pearce, David Seaman, Martin Keown, David Beckham, Michael Owen, Steven Gerrard and John Terry.Every single one of these players was infinitely more qualified than Mr.Campbell to captain the national side and for him to suggest otherwise is a grave insult to his fellow professionals. It also sets back the kick it out campaign who are trying to address more serious racial issues. A character aligned to ability makes a captain Mr. Campbell and signing for Notts County and quitting after a single defeat shows exactly what you were made of. Now grow up and be thankful that a ten a penny centre half such as yourself even got to make a living at the game !!!
Tony Adams was the regular starter, as there was a rotation between Martin Keown & Steve Bould. And David Seaman the GK
A documentary looking back at Thierry Henry's glittering career at Arsenal was released this week with a special premiere screening at Emirates Stadium. The former Gunners striker was joined by Ian Wright, David Seaman, Sol Campbell and Martin Keown to celebrate the release of 'Arsenal Legends – Thierry Henry', in which the FIFA World Cup winner tells the story of the key moments and goals that marked his eight-year spell at the club. "Even though I arrived here as a world champion, I was nobody" Thierry Henry He also talks about his arrival at Highbury, which followed a chance meeting with Gunners manager Arsene Wenger on a flight to Paris, as well as how he had plenty to prove when he signed for the North London club from Juventus in 1999. "You don't arrive at Arsenal football club when you have the likes of Tony Adams, Martin Keown, Lee [Dixon], Nigel [Winterburn] and Ray Parlour," said Henry in the documentary. "Before I arrived, those guys won the double. "Some of them were part of the team that wo ...
PLANETFROM A TRUE GUNNER The Return of the British Core... Knowingly or not, Arsene owes a great debt to his predecessors, especially George Grahamwho nurture the roots of English at the squadhe inherited as boyband "Arsenal Famous Wonderwall" consisting of David Seaman, Martin Keown, Tony Adams, Steve Bould, Lee Dixon and Nigel Winterburn and midfielder energetic Ray Parlour...But soon the British Core dissapered and Arsene Wenger started recruiting French players who later won manytitles...Patrick Vieira in his first season, Nicholas Anelka and Emmanuel Petit (1997/98) and Thierry Henry - who was flop at Juventus - season 1999/2000... This was a breakthrough decision because this formula successfully brought many titles...The arrival of African Players changed the Premier League...This is what makes French connection base becoming crucial because the majority of African countries use French as their official language...CescFabregas in an interview once said that he was having trouble arriving at Arsenal ...

Arsenal haters, please lend me your ears just for a moment..!!Arsenal is a hotshot team that will, once again, qualify for the Champions League next season..!! What I really miss in the current squad is the killer instinct and never-say-die attitude of legends in the mould of Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Tony Adams, David Seaman, Mark Overmars, Martin Keown,Emmanuel Petit, Dennis Berkamp etc ,etc. We have to strengthen the squad this January transfer window...the money is there; plenty of it..!! Arsenal is a lifestyle..!!!

Wembley FC is made up of ex-pros for laugh. Martin Keown, David Seaman, Terry Venables.
Okay! Look at this team: David Seaman, Graeme Le Saux, Ray Parlour, Martin Keown, Claudio Caniggia and Brian McBride :)
Ray Parlour and Martin Keown came out of retirement to play for Wembley FC as did Graeme Le Saux, Caniggia, and David Seaman (GK coach)
David Seaman, Ray Parlour, Martin Keown, Graeme Le Saux, Claudio Caniggia and Brian McBride have all signed on to play for Wembley.
London, U.K. – 21 June 2012 – Wembley FC, an amateur football squad based in North London, today announced it has assembled a group of ex-international players including Claudio Caniggia (Argentina, River Plate, Boca Juniors), Brian McBride (U.S.A., Fulham, Chicago Fire), David Seaman (England, Arsenal), Ray Parlour (England, Arsenal), Martin Keown (England, Arsenal) and Graeme Le Saux (England, Chelsea), to help them go as far as they can in next season’s FA Cup. The signings by Wembley FC were secured with the support of its sponsor Budweiser, the lead partner of The FA Cup, which earlier in the year recruited former England manager Terry Venables as the club’s Technical Advisor. The all-star line-up has been coaching the 34 player strong amateur squad for the past four months and will now add their experience on the playing field starting with the first kick of the new FA Cup 2012/13 Season – an extra preliminary round tie on August 11, 2012. Jason Warner, Global VP Budweiser, said, “As a l ...
Roy Hodgson springs a surprise with his first England team...Playing for England will be: John Bishop, Marvin Humes, Jason Isaacs, Paddy McGuinness, Aston Merrygold, Olly Murs, Mark Owen, Ben Shephard, Jamie Theakston and Jonathan Wilkes with Robbie Williams as Captain. They will be joined by football legends Graeme Le Saux, Martin Keown, Kevin Phillips, David Seaman, Teddy Sheringham and Des Walker.
The two best teams I faced in my career were Juventus (1996-1999) and Arsenal (1997-2000). It isn’t so much the individual flair and skill that stands out, it’s the mental toughness. Think of the characters: Angelo Peruzzi, Ciro Ferrara, Paolo Montero, Antonio Conte, Zinedine Zidane, Didier Deschamps, Alessandro Del Piero; David Seaman, Nigel Winterburn, Martin Keown, Tony Adams, Emmanuel Petit, Patrick Vieira, Dennis Bergkamp. You knew you would never break them mentally. If you have a core of characters like that, you win titles. -Gary Neville-
