Los Angeles matched the longest winning streak in the NBA this season, equalling 11-game runs in November by Portland and San Antonio.“This stretch of games that we’ve played and we’ve been successful, has been a huge team effort,” Griffin said. “With our team, I don’t think it’s one guy that’s making us go. The NBA 2013-14 season is just around the corner! Here's a Western Conference preview! 1.GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS Splash Brothers aka Stephan Curry and Klay Thompson may be the best deep threat duo on the same team. With the addition of Andre Iguodala and a healthy David Lee and Andrew Bogut this team could take the next step to greatness! Mark Jackson is a top 3 coach in the entire NBA! 2. San Antonio Spurs Led by the best coach in the NBA Gregg Popovich! You can never count out the aging Spurs! Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan are a top 3 trio in the league! 3. Oklahoma City Thunder With the Russell Westbrook season ending injury in the playoffs it crippled this team. Look for a mostly healthy Westbrook, Kevin Durant and Surge Ibaka to lead by example! Probably wishing a bearded superstar was still on their roster! James Harden sighting anyone? 4. Los Angeles Clippers New Head Coach Doc Rivers may lead this team very deep in the playoffs! Happy 4th of July Everybody! Just a quick update on everything in the sports world: NBA: The Sacramento Kings have reported they will not match the offer sheet on Tyreke Evans after the New Orleans Pelicans offered him a 44 million dollar deal. In return, the Kings have sent an offer to FA Andre Iguodala worth 56 million dollars. Iggy played for the Denver Nuggets last season, and before that the 76ers in Philly. He has proved to be a solid shooter from anywhere on the court, and can also drive the lane pretty well. Dwight Howard has been called "the best center in the league", and that is quite possibly true. He is also the best free agent available since Chris Paul re-signed with the Clippers. He has narrowed his choices down to three teams, the Houston Rockets, the Dallas Mavericks, and going back to Los Angeles to play for the Lakers another season. He has all the time in the world to make the decision, and I will let you know as soon as he does. SG/SF Manu Ginobili of the Spurs has announced he will ...
It looks like it will be a very, very eventful offseason. *Chris Paul and Dwight Howard have been talking about playing together. *The Celtic's future is in question, with possible moves of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Doc Rivers. *Manu Ginobili, Kobe Bryant, and Tim Duncan will decide if they want to retire or not. -Oldschool34
While the 2013 NBA Finals still going on, the off-season will be interesting especially big names testing the market. Where will these players go? Here are the players that will be Free Agents along with my predictions:   Unrestricted Free Agents: 1. Dwight Howard (C) Current team: Los Angeles Lakers 2013-2014 Season: Houston Rockets. This will be the best fit since playing in Orlando with Jamer Nelson. James Harden and Jeremy Lin will make his workload eaiser in the paint as well as help on Defense.   2. Chris Paul (PG) Current team: Los Angeles Clippers 2013-2014 Season: Depending who will replace Vinny Del *** as a great head coach, he could stay with the team. Otherwise, expect him to look elsewhere in the Western Conference.   3. Josh Smith (PF) Current team: Atlanta Hawks 2013-2014 Season: Top Eastern Conference teams. Smith will want to go somewhere that will get him into the conference finals or NBA Finals. There could be the possibility of New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, or Boston Celtics. I . ...

David Aldridge talks with Chris Paul about Manu Ginobili and the rest of the Argentina team.
Some notables of the playoffs, umm.Pau Gasol is weak, Andrew Bynum is a child, Manu Ginobili is the Greatest International Player of all time in NBA history (any arguments about this, please comment), Tony Parker rivals Manu for that title. Chris Paul has proven that he is clutch but not super overwhelming. Blake Griffin is scary good in the post now, Joe Johnson is a bust in the playoffs, and Danny Granger/Rudy *** is underrated. I think that's all I got. I know i missed alot so people who read this don't hesitate to comment. Now on to the off season (Oh my goodness.)
Playoff Preview: San Antonio Spurs vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Kurt Helin May 25, 2012, 2:54 AM EDT 8 Comments Getty Images SEASON RECORDS San Antonio 50-16 (1 seed) Oklahoma City 47-19 (2 seed) SEASON SERIES San Antonio took the season series 2-1, however Manu Ginobili missed all of them (which might worry Thunder fans), the games were in March and earlier, bottom line these teams are different now. OFFENSE/DEFENSE RANKINGS (points per 100 possession) San Antonio: offense 108.5 (1st in NBA); defense 100.6 (11th) Oklahoma City: offense 107.1 (2nd); defense 100 (9th) THREE KEY SPURS: Tony Parker: He outdueled Chris Paul, so as his reward he gets Russell Westbrook. In one key regular season meeting between these teams Gregg Popovich asked Parker to attack Westbrook on offense, to wear him down and make him work at both ends, he did taking 29 shots and scoring 42 points. It worked. Expect a lot of that this series. On the other end, Parker is going to have to defend the pick-and-roll as well as he did last ser ...

The older we get, the better we play. U MAD Chris Paul and Blake Griffin? -Manu Ginobili, Tim Duncan and Tony Parker
Spurs 108, Clippers 92 Tim Duncan scored 26 points and had 10 rebounds to lead the Spurs to a 108-92 victory over the Clippers in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals on Tuesday at AT&T Center. Manu Ginobili came off the bench for his best game of the playoffs, scoring 22 points in almost 27 minutes. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin have been slowed by injuries after the physical first-round series with Memphis that went seven games. But the two were able to play while combining for 10 made shots from the floor but eight turnovers. Eric Bledsoe was like Ginobili with a strong effort off the bench. Bledsoe scored 23 points and had as many made shots (10) as Paul and Griffin were able to produce.
