As a young boy growing up in Eastern Cape in a small town called Lady Frere, was very crazy about football that was dreaming of playing for a big team like Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, Jomo Cosmos or Moroka Swallows one day so that I can be famous, have a beautiful house, drive a fancy car with a beautiful wife and my own family. But I thank God that all those dreams couldn't work out, had they worked out may be I wouldn't have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour of my life. May be I could have been one of those gifted famous football stars like Jabu Pule, the late Gift Leremi and Scara Ngobese, Steve lekoelea, Patrick Mbutho who had so much talent and money but now they are nowhere to be found. I'm just so in love with my Jesus Christ that I wouldn't exchange Him for anything in the world and no amount of wealth can substitute for Him!

Mphela could join Amakhosi earlier, but the Glamour Boys will have to negotiate with Downs for his early release. Chiefs officially declared their interest in Mphela on Monday when one of their top strikers Lehlohonolo Majoro looked set to leave the Naturena outfit. But Majoro’s deal with Supersport United fell through after the Tshwane giants withdrew their offer. Chiefs spokesman, Vina Maphosa, said they are looking at having Mphela immediately since they are running short of a striker. But he said it would be within Downs’ rights to ask for compensation if they release him early. Moroka Swallows have climbed to fourth place on the PSL log standings after they defeated Polokwane City 2-1 at the Dobsonville Stadium on Wednesday night. Edward Manqele and Rudi Isaacs were on the scoresheet for Swallows whilst Pulane Tlolane scored for the away side. Swallows took the lead early on after some fine passing and finishing in one move. Midfielder Lerato Chabangu dispossessed the ball in midfield off City, then laid a fantastic through ball for Manqele for his seventh league goal of the season, 1-0. Manqele could have got his second goal of the match in the 30th minute when he did well to fend off his markers and then unleashed a powerful shot on the edge of the box which went just wide of goal. Ten minutes later City could have added to their woes when defender Thapelo Tshilo nearly scored an own goal. In his attempt to clear the ball the former Jomo Cosmos and Mamelodi Sundowns defender stuck out at a leg and wrong footed the keeper, luckily for the away side the ball just went over the b ...
Good old days cc Siyabonga Gichana Victor Milimu Kollo Faisal Nabiswa Okinyi Mike Bennett Masinga The 33 goals scored by Bennett Masinga for Sundowns in 1990 is still the most goals scored by a Sundowns player in a single season. South Africa: Year 2012 in review The year 2012 saw Pirates wrap up their fourth PSL title, completing a second treble in two years after winning the Telkom Knockout and the MTN8 in a glittering season for the Buccaneers. Jomo Cosmos and Santos could not escape the drop into the NFD with Pretoria University and Chippa United securing spots in the PSL for the 2012-13 season. Mamelodi Sundowns is unbelievably rooted at the log in the Psl.With history suggesting that usually teams that sit at the bottom hardly survive the chop,eg Jomo Cosmos kept on saying they will turn things around last season but nothing happened and they went down, Bay Utd was the same. With also the understanding that Sundowns is a big team do u think its unthinkable to say they will go the same route? Comments only on the status not on the wall please.
Deepest condolonce to Bafana bafana and Thomas Madigage's family may his soul rest in peace we will always remember him with his leadership especial when he ws playing for Jomo Cosmos and Mamelodi Sundowns he ws a great player and a great coach, especial when he ws a coach at SuperSport
If Premier Soccer League(PSL) was a class room then: 1.Mamelodi Sundowns would be a rich boy with expensive books but don't know how to use them. 2.Kaizer Chiefs would be a slow learner with many teachers tryng to help him. 3.Orlando Pirates would be a boy who never study but always pass the exams and receiving awards of 3 to 4 every year 4.Swallows would be a old boy who never pass but always promcs to pass 5.Jomo Cosmos would be suspendend for being bully of hurting students who submits their homeworks & the rest will be there to watch.
