Maia Mitchell (born August 18, 1993) is an Austrailian actress from Lismore, New South Wales. She is best known for playing Brittany Flune in the children's television series Mortified for Nine Network Australia, Disney Australia and the BBC, and as Natasha Hamilton in the Seven Network's children's teen drama Trapped. Disney Channel is an American basic cable and satellite television network, owned by the Disney-ABC Television Group division of The Walt Disney Company, and headquartered in Burbank, California. /5

ACTING CAREER Lynch was elected in early 2011 to appear in the pilot for the television series Disney Channel called Austin & Ally , 2 playing the male lead Austin Moon , a singer teenager who becomes a sensation overnight after of climbing a music video of him singing internet and later forms an alliance with Ally , played by Laura Marano . The pilot was later chosen for the production of a full season , the series premiered in December 2011 , and was renewed for a second season in March 2012.6 7 In the spring of 2013 it was announced that there would be a third season In early 2012 , Lynch began working on the Disney Channel Original Movie , Teen Beach Movie . The movie was filmed in Puerto Rico . He plays the role of Brady , the male lead in the film opposite Maia Mitchell. The film was directed by Jeffrey Hornaday and premiered July 19, 2013 , earning around 8.4 million espectadores.8

Maia Mitchell is an Australian singer/song writer and actress from Lismore, New South Wales. She learned to play the guitar at a very young age and her talent has been included in The Fosters - an Abc Family show that aired in June 2013 where Maia plays one of the main roles of Callie. Also, Maia has made her mark on the Disney Channel, appearing in a special episode of "Jessie" in 2013 as well as in the hit original film "Teen Beach Movie" with fellow star of the channel Ross Lynch. Mitchell participated in dance lessons as a young girl and performed in school and local theatre productions to kick start her career. When she was just 12 years old, she auditioned for the Australian television series "Mortified" and landed the lead role of Brittany Flune.
