long-rumored bout pitting UFC veteran Vitor Belfort (22-10) against former Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold (10-1) is slated to headline a UFC event in Brazil in the coming months. Brazilian outlet Tatame first reported the news, which was later confirmed by UFC President Dana White. A date and venue for the event were not specified, though White expects the event to take place in the second quarter of 2013. Lorenz Larkin vs. Francis Carmont Added To UFC On FOX 7 According to a report by Dan Alegria of The Press-Enterprise, Lorenz Larkin will make his UFC debut against Francis Carmont at UFC On FOX: Henderson Vs. Larkin had a Strikeforce title match with Luke Rockhold set, but Rockhold was unable to heal in time for the two to meet. The promotion folded in January. Carmont (20-7) has won nine consecutive fights, including four straight since debuting in the UFC in 2011. He has scored two submission victories and two decision wins inside the Octagon.
