Ha true. Plus, at least we just missed out on era of Nu Metal, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit
I don't know a single person who listened to Limp Bizkit after Linkin Park came out.
yeah, like Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and Korn. Metal with record scratches and rapping.
the Machine You wanna get pumped? listen to killing in the name of, and bulls on parade, I'm actually a conservative and hate their commie messages, but their music kicks *** btw what is ICP doing on any list that is positive? them along with limp, and linkin park should be put to sleep. I think Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit are not good bands for representing rap metal, because their style is commercial; I don't hate them but I hate their style... RATM is the best rap metal bands because they have a great mix of the Tom guitar effects, the Tim bass great rhythm, the Brad drumming and the Zack great rapping (I really hate rap, but he really makes a good work in his songs) rock2metal RATM is one those bands whose songs will still be remembered and listened to 100 years from now. Zack is a *** of a vocalist and rapper, and Tom Morello's guitar sounds are totally unique, sometimes weird but awesome. They use really thoughtful social and political lyrics. Should be number 1, but I respect others' opinions too . ...
I'm about to let the 17-year old inside of me make an iPod playlist. There is sure to be some Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Staind, Foo Fighters, Weezer, Incubus, 2Pac, DMX, Ja Rule, Master P, Snoop Doggy Dogg, and maybe even a little Creed, to serve as the random butt-rock curveball.
Linkin Park, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit and more star in Metal Hammer Presents Nu Metal - OUT NOW! http:…
Those bleating on about Papa Roach, Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park would do well to remember what an absolute shambles metal turned into the last time they surfaced. There isn't, nor ever was, any excuse for Fred Durst.
As much as I love Kendrick and Eminem and Drake and Macklemore, I'll still love Linkin Park and Flobots and Foo Fighters and System and Deftones and Coldplay and Fort Minor and Dead Before Sunrise and Breaking Benjamin and Arctic Monkeys and Avenged Sevenfold and Nine Inch Nails and The Fray and Paramore and Goo Goo Dolls and 3 Doors Down and Limp Bizkit and Snow Patrol and Franz Ferdinand MORE
Band I was given - MetallicA (THANK YOU! Get some popcorn...) Do I like them - they have been my favorite band since 1988 when I first heard them. Loved them even thru the Load/ReLoad and St Anger eras, and even moreso now. Ever seen them live - 3 times... 1-1991 at Nassau Coliseum (an evening with Metallica, with Byron Addison) 2-2003 at PNC bank arts center for Dysfunctional Family Picnic (with Mudvayne, Deftones, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and Metallica headlined, of course) 3-2009 in Charlottesville, VA... IN the PIT!!! 1 person back from the stage!!! Amazing. \m/,
This new track "Rage" is a little mixed with Korn, Wu-Tang, Prodigy, Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit. I showed a handful of people last night at the show. 100% great feedback.. Get ready folks I'm telling you Game Changer.
Have some Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Lou Gramm, Lou Reed and U2 playing on the iPod back here in the screen print shop today.
One of my bugoy boys at work was playing Linkin Park's Somewhere I Belong on his computer speakers. I was cool with all E-heads, Rico Blanco, even Limp Bizkit, they would play but just today, my gall isn't just up for something loud so I told them to play Frank Sinatra instead. Ug tuod man, nangdownload jud ang mga manghak ug Frank Sinatra songs which now waft through our workplace. I could only smile at these boys' utter love for (me and) teasing me! I guess, it's also time to acquaint them with the wonderful friggin' classics. Download pud Burt Bacharach, Beatles, Dionne Warwick, Carly Simon, Spiral Staircase, Carpenters, Roberta Flack etc. :) -- Euge Navarro Paduano, Strawhat Josefer, Xander Junsay Garcia
Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park full blast on the bus. dont mind if I do
Slipknot, Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit are the greatest bands ever and if you don't agree. Well I hope you never have a prom date
Hybrid Theory received positive reviews from critics. Stephanie Dickison of PopMatters commented that the band was a "far more complex and talented group than the hard rock boy bands of late", and claimed that "they will continue to fascinate and challenge music's standard sounds." Q magazine gave Hybrid Theory four out of five stars. Robert Christgau of The Village Voice wrote that “the men don't know what the angry boys understand”, and gave the album a "two-star honorable mention rating", citing "Papercut" and "Points of Authority" as highlights of the album. Jenny Eliscu of Rolling Stone gave the album two and a half stars and commented that Hybrid Theory had "as much potency as albums by Limp Bizkit or Korn" and called it an album that "reflects the frustration of life". Allmusic writer William Ruhlmann said that "Linkin Park sounds like a Johnny-come-lately to an already overdone musical style" and called "One Step Closer" "a typical effort", referring to the lyrics of the song's chorus. NME's N ...

The late 90's early 2000's seen a genre come and go called nu-metal, a genre that was a healthy cross between hip-hop, metal, rap-metal, rock, and sometimes country. Lately by the bar that the industry has set as a commercial success (selling 100,000+ copies) it would seem that a few nu-metal bands are making a strong comeback. So what happened to Nu-Metal? Did it die, did it evolve or did it ever disappear? Some standout albums from the Nu-metal genre between 1999 and 2004 include: Infest - Papa Roach Hybrid Theory - Linkin Park Follow the Leader - Korn Meteora - Linkin Park Significant Other - Limp Bizkit Fallen - Evanescence Devil Without A Cause - Kid Rock 2004-2010 Then the genre seemed to disappear, Linkin Park released Minutes to Midnight which though sales were strong, both critics and fans considered it to be their weakest album (until Thousand Suns). Minutes to Midnight was strongly based in the rock genre and limited Mike Shinoda's rapping skills to two songs. Limp Bizkit never changed their so ...

I am sorry, I guess I wasn't clear enough in my last post. By "your" music, I mean music that YOU produced. I can't use copyrighted songs in my videos. If I could, you all would be hardcore Korn, Linkin Park, Disturbed, and Limp Bizkit fans. :) So to reiterate, if you have your own produced songs that is the type of music you think your fellow Hermanites would want to workout to I would love to feature your music in upcoming SHF videos! :) Comment below with your name and a link to your music and I will contact you if the beat fits what I am looking for!
from love of my Linkin Park :D History: *Warnings: Only for mad of LP listeners :P Although rooted in alternative metal, Linkin Park became one of the most successful acts of the early 2000s by welcoming elements of hip-hop, Modern Rock, and atmospheric electronica into their music. The band's rise was indebted to the aggressive rap-rock movement made popular by the likes of Korn and Limp Bizkit, a movement that paired grunge's alienation with a bold, buzzing soundtrack. Linkin Park added a unique spin to that formula, however, focusing as much on the vocal interplay between singer Chester Bennington and rapper Mike Shinoda as the band's muscled instrumentation, which layered DJ effects atop heavy, processed guitars. While the group's sales never eclipsed those of its tremendously successful debut, Hybrid Theory, few alt-metal bands rivaled Linkin Park during the band's heyday. Drummer Rob Bourdon, guitarist Brad Delson, and MC/vocalist Mike Shinoda attended high school in Southern California, where they ...

So I got to control the music at my gym this afternoon. I played Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Girinspoon and Audioslave for a while and someone said "this music is depressing, how are we supposed to get pumped up to train?". So for a joke I switched it to that song that goes "Don't you worry, don't you worry child. Heaven has a plan for you" and they were like "Woo! This is heaps better!". ^ u wot m8? :s - E
Typing something which almost means more to me than people. I could probably live my life alone as long as I had my laptop or phone, a good pair of headphones and mysidekick colleague from office.I started listening to the western music at 3rd grade with Cliff Richards; in 7th grade, got really close to Backstreet Boys, and I still hold my stand that their musicis good and cannot be trashed down. In 9th grade, started the revolution in me, when I lay my hands on MI 2 OST. We used to still have casettes in those days, yet hearingsomething like Limp Bizkit and Metallica threw me all hands on deck into rock and metal. Linkin Park, after I finished my gruelling series of ICSE exams in class 10, my dadbought me the Hybrid Theory (Linkin Park) casette. In 12th, Rasmus used to have all my attention. Until. I reached Bits Pilani Goa campus. I spent 4 years of my time at college, not just watching tv series, which I did think all my life until now. I got this huge collection of insane tracks, getting introduced to ...

Happy New Year to all Muslim. Mr. Chad, Is that drum set? lol =) Have a nice day Mr. Chad! =) We have to understand that Limp Bizkit triggering the rise of rap rock followed by Linkin Park. But one of the group that started the influence of rap Rock Music in the early stages (late 1980s) is the Red Hot Chilli Papers (RHCP were heavily influenced by funk, a precursor to hip-hop or rap). Group peers with, is the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy and Anthrax. But basically it was initiated by Run-DMC and Aerosmith "Walk This Way." mid 1980s.

You would figure a montage of Pantera, Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and Marilyn Manson cranked on the stereo would get a 15 year old up and moving. maybe Plan B (Tiny Tim) might do the trick... hm.

Musical Taste is like having a balanced diet. I need my 5 a day, Metallica, Pantera, Deftones, Pearljam, and Down. and then there are bands that are good but if I have to much, they become bad such as, Linkin Park, Green Day, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Paramore and so on.

It's official i'm going nova rock! Linkin Park, Billy Talent, Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Cypress Hill, Kassabian, The Offspring, Rise Against, man this is gonna be awesome!
On Linkin Park: I would sooner put on a Dionne Warwick Greatest Hits compilation before I voluntarily listen to Linkin Park. I would listen to "I Just Called to Say I Love You" and "That's What Friends Are For" back-to-back on repeat before I would think,"Hey, let's put some Linkin Park on the hi-fi." How are those guys still around? It would be, like, if Korn, Limp Bizkit or Papa Roach were still around. Don't they have enough money to retire? Or hire therapists? Or get into drugs or hookers, or something, anything, more productive than putting out a new Linkin Park album?
