If Milwaukee goes the Josh Smith route on Larry Sanders, who has the most to offer him when he clears waivers other than 76ers?
Imagine this starting 5 for the Kings: Rajon Rondo, Josh Smith, Rudy *** Larry Sanders, Demarcus Cousins. Dear Barbara.
Hawks rally, clip Bucks at buzzer The Atlanta Hawks rallied for another win on Saturday night against Milwaukee. Unlike Friday night against the Kings, though, they needed every second to secure the 103-102 victory. Al Horford put in the game-winning basket with just 5.9 seconds left after backing down Larry Sanders to get a good shot off. Horford finished with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Jeff Teague had 23 points and nine assists, while Devin Harris added 21 points. The game featured 18 lead changes, with Milwaukee taking a 102-101 lead on a Monta Ellis basket right before Horford's winner. Ellis, who almost became a Hawk earlier this week in exchange for Josh Smith, finished with 14 points and 10 assists for the Bucks. ~SportsMan
The Atlanta Hawks picked up a vital away win in Milwaukee earlier with a one point win that was 103-102. Al Horford had 23 points and 11 rebounds, and Jeff Teague scored 23 as well but had 9 assists. Devin Harris scored 19 and Josh Smith had a double double with 15 and 13 rebounds. For the Bucks, J.J. Redick played his first game scoring 16 points off the bench shooting 4-9 and 1-3 from beyond the arc. Larry Sanders scored 12 points and had an impressive 19 rebounds to chip in. Despite only being a one point loss, the poor production of backcourt players Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings who only combined for 25 points could've been the reason for not getting the W.
Larry Sanders had 19 rebounds Ersan Ilyasova 19 points Hawks should have traded Josh Smith for those two guys.
Breaking news: the Bucks acquire a mediocre white guy who can shoot and got rid of a mediocre white guy who could dribble. Way to go John Hammond, way to really earn that extension you got and keep on making parallel moves that will keep us right where we are and wont even create any buzz with our fans. Oh we got JJ Reddick? Oh that guy who can shoot 3s and, thats it? Please, no fan is going to buy a ticket to see him play. You had a chance to acquire someone in Josh Smith who would at the very least create some buzz throughout the city and have people talking. You could have signed him to a deal in the offseason and start the team fresh. But no, you decided to be stubborn and refuse to trade John Henson, Larry Sanders, and Bah Moute (sp). WHAT?!? Yea because those guys are who I want to go and spend my hard earned money to see, please give me a break.

I hope the Bucks organization realizes that trading Larry Sanders for Josh Smith would basically be Gary Payton for Ray Allen Part II.
What is your opinion if Josh Smith lands in Milwaukee for Larry Sanders, Brandon Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova?
Sports talk... everyone else please ignore. Rox should only make 1-2 *minor* trades approaching the deadline. Our PF position is our weakest so I'm thinking someone like JJ Hickson would be a perfect fit/compliment to our uptempo offense. He's an athletic big that can largely improve our D and grab some rebounds in big numbers as well. Hickson can also slide over to the 5 for spot minutes. He's only 24 on an expiring contract that won't command the max $ that Millsap or Josh Smith. A package of Greg Smith, T-Douglas, Cole Aldrich, and a 2nd rounder should do it - if not for less. If that's not doable, go after players like Kenneth Farried (Den), Larry Sanders (Mil), Andre Drummond (Det) etc. A minor trade like this now still allows our youth to develop. These moves wouldn't put us anywhere near a "win now" mode but inch us a step closer which makes it easier to swing for the fences later - a la Kevin Love, Josh Smith, La Marcus Aldridge. A second Morey-esque trade where he moves unused pieces for l ...
IF this rumor of Anderson Varejão getting traded to Milwaukee for Larry Sanders and Drew Gooden is true I will boycott the Cavs. Just even the fact that they are talking this trade with Milwaukee is a joke. I say we package Varejao and Gibson for Josh Smith (atlanta) or trade Andy to a contending team for some scrub big man with an expiring contract and a 1st round pick. Larry Sanders is the worst player in the whole league
