So just watched Snow White and the Huntsman and other then Kristen Stewart (who has the emotional range of a pet rock) it was an amazingly well done movie. Special effects were incredible Charlize Theron once again shows her acting chops and why she is (IMO) the best leading lady going today And story was surprisingly interesting take on the old fairy tale To bad they didnt get someone who could, you know, ACT for Snow White role

Thoughts on Snow White & The Huntsman after my second viewing: 1) KStew is as KStew does 2) I REALLY WANNA KNOW WHO SNOW ENDS UP WITH IN THIS VERSION!!! THE ENDING *** !! WHO. DOES. SHE. PICK? Sam Claflin's safe choice--squeaky clean, dashing William, or Chris Hemsworth's tough, earthy, roguish Hunstman? I WANNA KNOW!!! 3) Charlize Theron's Ravenna really can't die enough times at the end. I want Snow to not just stab her, but knock the Mirror Mirror off the wall and drop it on her head. And kick her for good measure. She's freaking evil! 4) Now I can see Sam Claflin as Finnick in Catching Fire. I couldn't before. Now I'm more excited. 5) This is Chris Hemsworth's best role. Yes, even better than Thor. 6) Even though Snow's battle-rallying speech is made up of some cringe-worthy phrases, this scene makes me believe there really is an actress somewhere inside pale, glowering Kristen Stewart (KStew). Snow White and the Huntsman - I just can't buy into a retelling of this fairy tale where I'm told that Kristen Stewart (as Snow White) is somehow 'fairer' than Charlize Theron (Evil Queen). Come on now...really?!?! But at least Charlize looked like she was having fun with it and Chris Hemsworth with his Scottish accent, that occasionally faltered into a British accent, made the movie palatable.

Tristan and I tried ("tried" being the operative word) to watch Snow White and the Huntsman this afternoon. OMG! I am so glad we did NOT pay to see this in the theatre! We were both falling asleep, and while I do like Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, she was far from the kick *** Snow White I expected. Ginnifer Goodwin has it ALL over her in Once Upon a Time. I couldn't even get into the costumes and Charlize Theron as Queen Ravenna was just annoying. We made it about an hour and 15 minutes into the film and could seriously take no more. I ARE DISAPPOINT.

Snow White and the Huntsman wasn't bad. Well cast (yes, even Kristen Stewart), Visuals were amazing, and the story was done interestingly different then before. But really Charlize Theron stole the movie for me. Even those moments when she was "ACTING!!!" I loved her.

Alright folks, its that time of the year again, David's "Best of 2012 Movie List." I apologize for the late submission this time, but due to me starting my military career, I was in basic training for part of the year or in Germany and release times are a little different here. That said there were a few movies that I was unable to see (mostly from the end of the year). To the movies, this year we had a laundry list of heavy hitters (Avengers, Dark Knight Rises, etc). We also had a lot fall flat on their face. For instance, whatever universe Kristen Stewart is fairer than Charlize Theron, I don't want to live in. Again to be politically correct, this is just my opinion. I got "Snow White and the Huntsman" from the library. I really enjoyed the dark tone of the film but found it difficult to buy into the conceit that Kristen Stewart as Snow White was the "fairest in the land" including Charlize Theron as the Queen. I mean HAVE YOU SEEN HER?!?!

Bob's Movie Review: Episode 4: Citizens on Patrol Been a while since I did one of these, so there is a bunch to go over. Lockout: Futuristic shoot 'em up, decent action flick. Not a lot to say, worth a shot if you like the genre. Snow White and The Hunstmen: Could have been a good movie, however Charlize Theron phoned it in, and Kristen Stewart has one face for every emotion which takes you right out of her performance. The kid from Thor did a good job. Prometheus: I had such high hopes. I love all the Alien films. However this left me bored and wondering what the hype was all about. The Dark Knight Rises: I liked it. I didn't love it, and I certainly didn't think it was better than Avengers. It was a fitting end to the story, but I'm not sure I buy Joseph Gordon Levitt in what I think is coming. Lawless: A decent story, but incredibly hard to understand the dialogue due to accents and sound quality. All in all, worth a watch, especially if you like mob type stuff. Just watched Snow White and the Huntsman, and was pleasantly surprised. Solid entertainment. Suspension of my disbelief, however, was momentarily interrupted when the legendary mirror on the wall told Charlize Theron that Kristen Stewart was the fairest of them all.

"Snow White And The Huntsman" Not since 1991's "Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves" has a retelling of a Disney film been so action packed. By changing the title from Seven Dwarfs to Huntsman and adding Chris Hemsworth ("Thor") and Kristen Stewart ("Twilight") this film was made simply to appeal to younger audiences but the one to watch who stole the show was the villainous Evil Queen played by Charlize Theron who finally comes into her own, and along with this year's "Prometheus" gets the roles that She deserves! Got to thinkin;-I never, in all the commotion, announced who the winners were of the costume carnival and contest, well here they are-Third place, with $8.00-Destiny Phillips, 13 yrs. old-Checotah; 2nd place with $10 and the DVD of "Snow White and The Huntsman" w/ Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron-Catie Smith, 14 yrs. old, 8th grade, Midway; and of course, 1st place with $30 and our version of the "Oscar" (a golden skeleton on a platform holding his head!)-Brooklyn Selby, 13yrs. old, 7th grade, Midway. The night was a big hit, and everyone had a blast-and the performances by our local kids (their rendition of the "Thriller dance", was to die for!

settling in to watch what hopeful is a silly medieval romp, Snow White and the Huntsmen: now if only I could get over the fundamental flaw in the premise ... In what way could Kristen Stewart possibly be fairer than Charlize Theron on any level :)

Just finished watching Snow White and the huntsman. I give it a 6. 4 for Charlize Theron, 1 for Chris helmsworth, 1 for story and -4 for Kristen Stewart. It would have been an awesome movie if they would have just called it "The Queen" and killed Kristen Stewart off within the first 30 sec of the movie so we wouldn't have to stare at her buck teeth and be constantly reminded of how bad of an actor she is. Then the movie could have just focus on how bad *** Charlize Theron is. Pity.

Thank you Redbox. Thank you for a free rental so I didn't have to pay to watch the steaming pile of crap that was Snow White and the Huntsman. How did Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Ian Mcshane, Bob Hoskins and Nick Frost all lose the same bet? This could have been something extraordinary but it wasn't. The costumes were nice, I suppose. I can't believe how awful Charlize Theron was in this movie. Was she acting poorly on purpose to throw Kristen Stewart a bone? Then they ripped off Miyazaki and The Raven King. (And if you get that reference- you're awesome.) I feel sullied and unusual, which VERY rarely happens between me and movies. Even crappy movies I can take some enjoyment from but this? No. No, sir. I don't like it.

I really should be sleeping right now. Instead, I'm watching "Snow White and the Huntsman," and I'm wondering why they chose Kristen Stewart? I mean, I don't think she's ugly, but I certainly would not describe her as "fair," and especially not more than Charlize Theron. It's just...not the best casting, IMO.

Just watched Snow White and The Huntsman and That's My Boy. Snow White was actually really good, Kristen Stewart did well with it. Charlize Theron always gets me, one of my favorites. And That's My Boy was awesome, I practically laughed through the entire movie! Whoever critiqued this movie and said it was bad was probably a prude lol I thought it was absolutely hilarious!

Finally watched Snow White and the Huntsman. Question... At what point did they convince the masses that Kristen Stewart could act? Watched "Snow White and the Huntsman" last night. Really good flick. If it weren't for the constant nagging that I'm supposed to hate Kristen Stewart's acting, I would've enjoyed it more. I think everybody - including her - did a great job. They just give Kristen a character with a lot to emote until the end. Between Twilight and this, I think she's been stuck with "bewildered damsel" roles where she's not supposed to react to anything. In both stories, the damsel really does nothing except exist to be "special" and deserve all the adoration crapped on her. At least here, Snow White has a real reason why everyone is hunting her. Charlize Theron was great in a just-barely-campy role. Chris Hemsworth had a few brilliant pieces of physical acting, but his vocal range is kinda Keanu-ish.

Ok i just watched Snow White and the huntsman. I would def pick Charlize Theron over Kristen Stewart any day of the week! Also Prometheus is a kickass flick, hope they continue that storyline.

We watched Snowman and the Huntsman this weekend. I had actually seen it at the theater but Emily hadn't so I Redboxed it. Pretty good movie. Charlize Theron is awesome as an Evil Queen. Hemsworth was good as the Huntsman but couldn't they have found someone better for Snow White? I thought everyone knew from watching the Twilight series that Kristen Stewart can't act. Jade, i know you hate Kristen Stewart's acting, but here's how i analyze this. she was way better in Snow White than she was in Twilight, which proves that she's not a bad actress, she's just in bad movies. that's how i see it. and maybe its because her emotions play better in Snow than in Twilight; Snow's an orphan, she witnessed murder, been treated like dirt, and lives in a 4x4 cell... i wouldn't smile either. yet, Bella can't be happy like... never, even when she gets what she wants? THAT doesn't add up and it never will. oh, and Charlize Theron scared the life of me, just thought i should note that.

Sheesh! Chris Hemsworth is ridiculously attractive (holy crap!) and Kristen Stewart didn't do too bad as Snow White (playing Joan Jet helped make up for the terrible Twighlight saga.) Charlize Theron did a bang up job (as usual)! The blind dwarf was only a lil' creepy. All in all - I'll eventually own the film. Yay, a keeper! :)

Just saw: Snow White & The Huntsman Extended Edition (2012) 7/10 An offbeat film that is very loosely based on the fairy tale. The cinematography is the highlight of the film. Other than that I found Kristen Stewart and Chris Hensworth to be way too stiff, however Charlize Theron was okay. The screenplay is also average.

Watched "Snow White and the Huntsman" tonight, not bad for what it was, a fairy tale getting the LOTR treatment, very good special effects, particularly the troll. What I couldn't get past was Kristen Stewart as the fairest of them all, when Charlize Theron, the Queen, at least 15 years her senior, is way, way hotter than her. I mean, Kristen Stewart is like a 7 on her best day, and Theron is a 9.5, minimum, unless she's ugging it up on purpose to play a serial killer or coal miner or something. I also don't really get the whole "I really should have a line here but I'll just stare with some kind of inscrutable emotion and avert my eyes instead" thing K-Stew does. Say something you weirdo, I'm not a telepath.

I watched "Snow White and the Huntsman." About an hour and thirty two minutes into it there are five really good minutes of film. Kristen Stewart as Joan of Arc. Nah. Charlize Theron is the best thing about this show, if she had had a decent script that is. Costuming is good. Otherwise, don't bother. It is boring and plods along like a punch drunk mule.

Snow White and the Huntsman is a pretty decent movie. The cinematography is excellent. The supporting cast was great. Charlize Theron was a fun villain, and Chris Hemsworth was very good in his role as well. That being said, they really should have cast someone else as Snow White. Ellen Page for example, or Jennifer Lawrence. Emma Watson, Emma Stone, Karen Gillan, I mean, seriously, was there no one else other than Kristen Stewart who wanted the part. I would have even taken Lindsay Lohan. Oh well, I guess we now know why she was chosen according to the tabloids. Hopefully this hurts her drawing power for a few years and she doesn't get cast in anything for a long while.

Kristen Stewart yet again ruined another movie. The director of Snow White and the Huntsmen hired the most beautiful actress Charlize Theron, then hired Sloth (Kristen Stewart) to play Snow White. I'm pretty sure they pay her in baby ruths. At this point her power of ruining a movie just by being in it or showing her face, she can make a killing just by threatening to be in movies unless we pay a ransom.

well - Snow White AND THE HUNTSMAN lived up to its hype. Well scripted, great fx, fantastic soundtrack by James Newton Howard, and excellent choreography for the fight scenes. Charlize Theron plays one of the most evil witches ever on film and believe it or not Kristen Stewart was not annoying at all! There are plenty of nods to the Disney original, including a pair of birds that guide SW through the movie. Even the dwarves were awesome (Nick Frost gotta love him, lots of Brittish character actors too). Great flick if you like fantasy. 4/5 stars

Fortunately, her sleeping with director scuttles her involvement in the 2 planned sequels (which should probably be scratched anyway).
