Kris Bryant & Home Run
Kristopher L. Bryant (born January 4, 1992) is an American college baseball player, who attended San Diego University. In baseball, a home run (abbreviated HR) is scored when the ball is hit in such a way that the batter is able to reach home safely in one play without any errors being committed by the defensive team in the process./5
Kris Bryant's Home Run was 495 feet.and you just reported it was 467. Give the man some credit!
REPORT: Cameras on Mars spotted a ball pass by the planet, believed to be the Home Run ball hit by 3B Kris Bryant …
Did anyone expect Kris Bryant to not hit a home run in his AAA debut? I can't wait to see him in Chicago
Just a thought: Today the Cubs selected Kris Bryant with the 2nd pick in the draft today. Bryant led all of college baseball in Home Runs and his potential as a 3-4 Home Run Machine is great. The GM of the Cubs is Theo Epstein who guides the direction of his team with the use of Sabermetrics like he did in Boston. Obviously, the Oakland A's and Billy Beane use Sabermetrics as well to aid in Baseball operations, and if you watch the A's, it seems like every one of their hitters is capable of hitting a Home Run. With the rise in Strikeouts and talent of pitching in Major League Baseball, is the Home Run the new OBP (On Base Percentage) in Sabermetrics of Major League Baseball in terms of finding the most efficient way to score runs? It seems like Home Runs are pretty important to Theo Epstein and Billy Beane.
Congratulations to former Bonanza High School graduate Kris Bryant being selected Overall in today's MLB Draft by the Chicago Cubs. Bryant has been compared to Mark Mcgwire and Troy Glaus and has 50 Home Run potential. Can't wait to see this kid hitting'em out at Wrigley Field in a few years.
