Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown Band are among the country acts to have donated items that hit the block at the recent WhyHunger Hungerthon auction. Chesney donated a trip for one lucky bidder and a friend to meet him on his No Shoes Nation tour. Meanwhile, ZBB donated an eat-and-greet experience at one of their 2013 concerts. Others to donate included Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Kix Brooks, all of whom gave autographed guitars to the auction. Meanwhile, Jason Aldean kicked in with an autographed football, and Willie Nelson with a New Year's Eve package including front row tickets to his Austin City Limits appearances in Austin, Texas.
Move Over McGraw: Jason Aldean Wants to Try Acting OK, it's not like Jason Aldean is gonna hang up his cowboy hat and microphone, but . . . "I may dabble in some things here and there. Movies or whatever maybe here and there," Jason tells ABC News Radio, "but music will always kinda be my main focus." Tim Mcgraw, Trace Adkins, Carrie Underwood and Kix Brooks have all tried the big screen, and Miranda Lambert had a turn on one of her favorite TV crime dramas. Jason says he just wants to give it a try. "It's one of those things where if I do a movie, I don't even know if I'm any good. So, I may do one and it *** and I'm a horrible actor, and I'll never do another one. We'll see," he said. "But you'll probably see me dabbling in some stuff like that, I think, in the future."

There are two new songs: Kix Brooks' "Moonshine Road" (No. 46) and Toby Keith's "Hope on the Rocks." The No. 2 through No. 5 albums are Lady Antebellum's On This Winter's Night; Blake Shelton's Cheers, It's Christmas; Christmas With Scotty McCreery; and Jason Aldean's Night Train. Rounding out the Top 5 songs are Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise," Hunter Hayes' "Wanted," The Band Perry's "Better Dig Two" and Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away," in that order. It may be because there are few new titles to buy, but whatever the reason, country album sales really slumped this week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Last week, the Top 75 country albums sold 940,563 c ...
