If you did not, you missed the following: * Great British stories from great authors: Harry Potter, Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, etc. * The dancing doctors, nurses, and patients. The patients were not really patients, but they bounced on the beds * A musical salute to the music of the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s. * Kenneth Branagh * Passing and lighting of the Olympic torch * And, most of all, the Parade of Nations, not to forget the performance of Sir Paul McCartney The show was produced by Danny Boyle, the Irish film director who won an Oscar for Best Director for "Slumdog Millionaire."
