Hon. Abdullahi I. Mahuta, Member Representing Malumfashi Local Government, at Katsina State House of Assembly Wrote: Yesterday on our way to the Masai people, a young man who just finished his post graduate studies in Canada asked me a very interesting question. He wanted to know between Saudi Arabia and America where would i choose for my daughter to live in. i sensed he was trying to mock me and my religion seeing that i was the only Muslim among the group members. and suddenly everybody seemed to be interested in what i would say. I told him i would prefer Saudi Arabia than America. they all laughed, probably, at my 'foolishness'. He was obviously determined to open my eyes and save me from what he would call my old fashioned and outdated ideas. so he lectured: "you see Mr. Abdullahi, if you take your daughter to Saudi Arabia, they would deny her all her rights and freedom. they would force her to cover all her body and other restrictions. but in America, she would have all the freedom and opportuniti ...

You condoned to most of the decision and position of the Sultanate that pleases you. Suddenly, you kicked against the announcement that says "the Sultan had communicated that none of their sources did sight the moon including Saudi Arabia". Rebelliously, you jumped up and say that the Sultan is Government appointed and Saudi Arabia is controlled by the western world. YOU BETTER TRY TO FIND OUT IF THE DEVIL IS NOT IN CONTROL OF YOUR FACULTIES!

The payment includes about N150 million to Mrs. Turai Yar'adua, as well as others to the late president's aged mother, his married daughters, and sons. Although the controversial former First Lady has got the biggest payout, it would be recalled that it she who pushed Nigeria to the brink of a political crisis between 2009 and May 2010 while her late husband was hospitalized in Saudi Arabia. Mrs. Yar'Adua was at the head of a cabal of Ministers, aides and security agents that manipulated the nation for many tense months as they clung to power, almost leading to the collapse of the government. It remains unclear if Yar-adua's second wife, Hauwa Umar Radda, whom the late president divorced in 1997, benef ...
