Fresh crisis is brewing within the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) as some governors are said to be angry with the party’s National Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, for allegedly tampering with the result of the ward congresses in their respective states. The aggrieved governors include, Isa Yuguda of Bauchi State, Gabriel Suswam of Benue State, Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom, Ibrahim Shema of Katsina State and Liyel Imoke of Cross River State, Punch reports. Also, some members of the party’s National Working Committee are accusing one another of taking side with some influential members of the party in some states concerning the recently held ward congresses. Southeast Members Of The APC Accuse Party Leadership Of Marginalisation Protesting members of the All Progressives Congress, APC from the southeast distorted the inauguration ceremony of the party’s state chairmen in Abuja on Thursday. A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja presided over by Justice A.F.A Ademola, on Wednesday, cleared the way for the National Convention of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) slated for Saturday, in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State. The court dismissed a case filed by some former senators and House of Representatives members from Katsina State against the party seeking to nullify the CPC National Convention held in the Eagle Square, Abuja in January 2011 that produced the present national officers of the party.
