Prosecutors in Ferguson, Missouri, presented evidence today to a grand jury – which will decide whether to criminally charge the officer who shot and killed an unarmed black man. Meantime: Attorney General Eric Holder visited Ferguson, where his Justice Department is conducting a federal investigation of its own.
I think it's funny: CNN, and news outlets like MSNBC and Fox News corp are asking, "Should the Justice Department take over the investigation in Ferguson, MO" since AG Eric Holder is heading to the region just today? YEAH! Duh! And tell him let the Feds take over the entire South (yes, MO did join the Confederacy) while they're at it! Just like the North did during the "Reconstruction" period following the American Civil War! And let's get it right this time! (hint: "Jim Crow") Reconstruction, basically, was the time period of 1865-1877, though some historians count the time period beginning in 1863, two full years before the end of the war dating from when Lincoln emancipated the slaves. It was a twelve year period fiercely fought between many competing sides, e.g., the "Carpetbaggers" (Northerners who went to help rebuild the South after the war), or the "Scalawags" (white southerners who always lived in the region), the U.S. Army (sent in by Grant to suppress the KKK and Confederacy now an underground ...
Stop calling what is going on in Ferguson "protests." For crying out loud, rioting and looting are not protesting. It's felonious criminal activity. This might be Eric Holder's definition of "protesting," the kind of "protesting" he engaged in as a young "Barbados-American," but that's because he's a criminal. Here are 16 examples of highly disturbing behavior engaged in by Eric Holder, Attorney General of the United States of America: One - Discriminatory Hiring Practices On August 8, 2011 documents were released by the DOJ, subsequent to a court battle, which revealed the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division had been engaging in politicized hiring in the career civil service ranks. According to PJ Media, the politicized hiring practices of Holder’s DOJ are nearly unprecedented in scope. In June 2008, Holder admitted to the American Constitution Society (an organization started as a liberal counterweight to the Federalist Society) that the Justice Department was “going to be looking for people who share ...
I've got an urgent warning for gun owners in Tennessee. Your U.S. Senator, Lamar Alexander supported and voted for Barack Obama's anti-gun agenda. That's right. Last year — during the largest fight over your right to keep and bear arms in a quarter century —Lamar Alexander betrayed gun owners when it counted the most and voted to advance the President's gun control bill.1 If ever there was a time gun owners needed Lamar Alexander to stand with us, against our anti-gun enemies and their sympathizers, that was it. But I'm afraid Lamar Alexander sided with radical anti-gun Democrats like Dianne Feinstein and Harry Reid instead. And it wasn't the first time Lamar Alexander voted anti-gun. Senator Alexander also voted to confirm Barack Obama's anti-gun nominee for Attorney General, Eric Holder.2 Thanks to Lamar Alexander, Eric Holder's confirmation sailed through, leading to the Operation Fast and Furious gun running scheme and a no-holds-barred crack down on gun owners by the Justice Department. If that . ...

Attorney General Eric Holder announced yesterday that the U.S. Justice Department will join the case and argue for marriage equality whenever the Supreme Court hears an appeal by a state which had its ban on same-sex marriage ruled unconstitutional.
Now, this is exactly right. How can we have any confidence in the Justice Department, headed by a political appointee (Eric Holder), investigating his boss, President Obama and/or other prominent members of the administration? To allow them to investigate themselves and then whitewash it all (which is clearly what they have done so far), makes a mockery of justice. We saw this when Kennedy was killed. His alleged murderer, Lyndon Johnson, put friends and political hacks on the Warren Commission, and they gave him the result he craved, even though most of them knew it was a big lie. LBJ wasn't about to have himself investigated. No wonder the average citizen is so cynical about "the system."

Holder mentioned DOJ's efforts on Civil Rights, voting rights, *** rights, and a path to citizenship for illegal aliens. "In these and other efforts, there are undoubtedly difficult times ahead," he said. "There are too many wedded to the past and who irrationally fear the new America that is emerging."

MICKEY MOUSE & Mickey Rooney Posted: 12 May 2014 12:30 AM PDT To get an idea of how far removed from reality or at least from the truth liberals are, you merely had to listen to them insist that when Eric Holder appeared before Al Sharpton’s National Action Network, boohooing about the way he and Obama are treated, he wasn’t referring to the fact they’re both black. The truth is that virtually everything Holder does or says is racial in nature. Some would even say “racist.” He was the fellow, you might recall, who called whites cowards for being unwilling to speak honestly about race, by which he meant fess up to being bigots. Also, according to certain lawyers at the Justice Department, upon taking office, Holder announced it would not be his policy to charge non-whites with hate crimes or Civil Rights infractions. What’s more, he proved he meant it when he refused to indict the Black Panthers for intimidating white voters in Philadelphia during the 2008 presidential election. Under his despi ...

I have a question; when the United States Justice Department becomes corrupt, who do "we the people" turn to for justice, on a national level? Eric Holder is a criminal in his own right. He can't investigate himself! So if that be the case, who is going to investigate Lois Lerner and the IRS? This madness must stop and stop NOW! Do "We The People" have to take matters into our own hands and deal with these issues? Obviously Washington D.C. isn't capable of taking care of business! Frankly, I don't know why "We The People"continue to pay these thieves and liars for totally destroying OUR United States OF AMERICA! On a side note; we outnumber them 330,000,000 to 500. I think we can change things NOW if we really wanted to.
This was last week Attorney General Eric Holder cancelled plans to address a class of Police Academy graduates in Oklahoma City on Thursday after hundreds of state lawmakers, police officers and conservative activists planned a protest. Before the cancellation, demonstrators requested that officers attending the ceremony place the Attorney General in handcuffs, according to Oklahoma News9.com. “Eric Holder is in contempt of Congress right now,” said conservative protest organizer Bob Dani, citing the “Fast and Furious” and IRS scandals. Holder never made it to the show. Justice Department spokesman Brian Fallon said Thursday that an early-morning meeting would have made Holder too late to deliver the address. Instead, a U.S. District Court judge spoke to the group, according to The Washington Times. “The Attorney General had been looking forward to addressing the cadets, and regrets he cannot attend in person,” Fallon said. “He extends his heartfelt congratulations to the cadets and their fa ...

Eric Holder, the nation’s first Black Attorney-General, is launching a project that aims to collect data about stops, searches and arrests of Black and Hispanic males across the country. The action is part of a larger effort to eliminate racial bias in the system itself. “This over-representation of young men of color in our criminal justice system is a problem we must confront, not only as an issue of individual responsibility but also as one of fundamental fairness and as an issue of effective law enforcement,” said Holder. “Raci ...

Eric Holder: Black Panther case focus demeans 'my people' Attorney General Eric Holder finally got fed up Tuesday with claims that the Justice Department went easy in a voting rights case against members of the New Black Panther Party because they are African American. Holder's frustration over the criticism became evident during a House Appropriations Subcommittee hearing as Rep. John Culberson (R-Texas) accused the Justice Department of failing to cooperate with a Civil Rights Commission investigation into the handling of the 2008 incident in which Black Panthers in intimidating outfits and wielding a club stood outside a polling place in Philadelphia. The Attorney General seemed to take personal offense at a comment Culberson read in which former Democratic activist Bartle Bull called the incident the most serious act of voter intimidation he had witnessed in his career. "Think about that," Holder said. "When you compare what people endured in the South in the 60s to try to get the right to vote for Af ...
The IRS targeting of every conservative group seeking tax exempt status was investigated by Eric Holder's Justice Department and the Justice Department found no wrong doing. Just uncovered emails prove that Lois Lerner of the IRS, along with the head of the IRS, were working with Holder's Justice Department to not only target those groups - they were also going to falsify criminal charges and put some of them in prison in an attempt to intimidate others. This isn't about some low-level rogue IRS agents in the Cincinnati office like Lerner (and Obama) had stated before she plead the fifth to federal investigators. Major scandal, bigger than Watergate, and the democratic media needs to do their job of informing the public instead of protecting the administration. This isn't a game of us vs them; this is what happens when out of control big government has too much power.
Cattle grazing on public land is minor compared to illegally running 2000 guns to Mexican Drug Cartels. More than 200 people have been killed in Mexico, and a US Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, was killed with Fast and Furious weapons. But this Democrat Administration seems more interest in pursuing the former. Attorney General Holder, the chief law enforcement officer of the United States, has been ignoring Congressional subpoenas and been defiant when appearing before Congress over the matter. Two years ago he was indicted for contempt of Congress on both felony and civil charges, by the House. That is the first time in American history that the head of the Justice Department has been held in contempt by Congress. Still he doesn't comply with the subpoenas. In a Texas gun trafficking case, Oscar Bravo Hernandez received a sentence of 84 months for buying and sending to Mexico 55 firearms. AG Eric Holder obviously thinks he's 'above the law'! Eric Holder needs to be fired immediately...The display of total arrogance and ignorance while testifying in front of Congress was disgraceful. The issue at hand is that the Justice Department has yet to hand over documents - 18 months already waiting - on investigations that Congress is conducting. Wake up people - Congress has the job of oversight - to make sure the executive branch does the will of the people. To address a member of Congress as "buddy" shows a disrespect from someone who should be upholding the very foundation of our system of government. And still he has not produced the documents...

It’s time to hold the Obama Administration accountable. Attorney General Eric Holder has failed to perform his role by any measure. In fact, he and his office are actually promoting lawlessness and attacking the legal foundation of traditional marriage. That’s why Public Advocate is launching a new initiative to reign in President Obama and Attorney General Holder's rogue Justice Department. As the senior attorney in America, Eric Holder has continually advanced the Homosexual Agenda. Of course, he is doing this with Obama’s permission -- and likely his encouragement. The Obama Administration has been the most anti-Family regime America has ever seen. The Administration praises the radical Homosexual Agenda on a weekly basis. And Obama is demanding the passage of the *** Bill of Special Rights. But Eric Holder has gone even further. He refuses to defend and enforce U.S. law that disagrees with the Homosexual Lobby. Instead, he has endorsed the Homosexual Agenda in government offices and has violated ...
Eric Holder's Justice Department wastes no time suing states over their voter ID laws -- to protect the franchise, he says. But a fraudster who repeatedly voted for President Obama? Why, she gets a pass. Consider the celebrity status bestowed upon Melowese Richardson, the Ohio poll worker who admitted she voted six times for President Obama in 2012. Typically, voting just twice for president is enough to draw a federal felony charge. Ms. Richardson was charged and convicted under state law in Ohio and sentenced to five years in prison last year. But after serving a mere eight months, a state judge dismissed her conviction and allowed her to plead "no contest" to four counts of illegal voting, reports J. Christian Adams for Breitbart. Recently, Richardson turned up at a "voting rights" rally in Cincinnati, where she was warmly received and embraced by Al Sharpton. (Of course.) But she's not on Justice's radar -- even though the feds routinely go after criminals previously subjected to state charges, such a ...
You Gotta Love Texas! ***The City of Dallas, Texas passed an ordinance stating that if a driver is pulled over by law enforcement and is not able to provide proof of Insurance, the car is towed. To retrieve the car after being impounded, they must show proof of insurance to have the car released. This has made it easy for the City of Dallas to remove uninsured cars. Shortly after the "No Insurance" ordinance was passed, the Dallas impound lots began to fill up and were full after only nine days. Over 80% of the impounded cars were driven by illegals. Now, not only must they provide proof of insurance to have their car released, they have to pay for the cost of the tow, a $350 fine, and $20 for every day their car is kept in the lot. GUESS WHAT? Accident rates have gone down 47% and Dallas' solution gets uninsured drivers off the road *WITHOUT* making them show proof of nationality. I wonder how Eric Holder's U.S. Justice Department will get around THIS one. ** Just brings tears to your eyes, doesn't it? * ...

Eric Holder and the DOJ Have Spent Millions of Taxpayer Dollars on Unreported Personal Travel (Washington Post) – The agency that tracks federal travel did not report hundreds of personal and other “nonmission” trips aboard government planes for senior Justice Department officials including Attorney General Eric Holder and former FBI Director Robert Mueller, according to a watchdog report. Congress’s nonpartisan Government Accountability Office determined that the 395 flights cost taxpayers $7.8 million. But the General Services Administration, which oversees trips aboard federal jets, did not require documentation because of a GSA reporting exemption that covers intelligence agencies, even in cases of unclassified personal travel. The GSA exemption contradicts decades-old executive-branch requirements, specifically guidelines established by President Bill Clinton and the Office of Management and Budget, according to the report. The report said GSA “has not provided a basis for deviating from ex ...

Obama's Justice Department appealed the circuit court ruling that granted the Romeikes political asylum on the basis of documented persecution by the German government. The DOJ pressed for the case to be brought before an immigration court, where the political asylum ruling was overturned. Eric Holder had himself a good time, too, using the case as an opportunity to editorialize that home education is not, in his view, a fundamental human right. That meant that the immigration court's deportation order would stand, and the Romeikes were to be sent ...

In a feature story for the magazine's Feb. 17 issue (sub. req.), writer Jeffrey Toobin said that Holder told him that Holder would leave his post in 2014, though he also said that he planned to remain as Attorney General "well into" the year. But the Justice Department provided TPM a partial transcript of Toobin's interview with Holder, and in it, the Attorney General did not explicitly say that he would resign in 2014, but that he would stay "well into 2014." “The most the Attorney General has said is that he still has a lot he wants to accomplish on issues like criminal justice reform, voting rights and LGBT equality," Justice spokesman Brian Fallon said in a stateme ...

IBD Editorials Auto Trade Group Caves To Obama Race-Mongers Like mortgage lenders, the auto industry is inoculating itself against trumped-up racism charges by adjusting the way it prices loans. Eric Holder's witch hunt is spreading — and doing lasting damage. On Friday, the National Automobile Dealers Association issued new "fair credit" guidelines to protect the 16,000 car dealers it represents from discrimination lawsuits filed by the Justice Department and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The agencies have teamed up to frame car lenders as bigots after successfully framing home lenders. "Fulfilling these goals is particularly important in light of recent allegations," NADA said in a memo to members. Last month, Attorney General Eric Holder and his diversity cops sent a chill through the industry when they slapped the nation's biggest auto lender, Ally Bank, with a $100 million penalty for alleged racist "mark-ups" on loans to minorities. On a Nation in a State of Disunion: "After four years of the politics of divide-and-conquer, Mr. Obama had stirred sufficient resentment in his political base to win a second term. What he has produced entering the sixth year of his presidency is a nation in a state of disunion. "The pollsters at Gallup wrote last week that Mr. 'Obama is on course to have the most politically polarized approval ratings of any president.' Segments of the U.S. population see themselves not just in disagreement with the Obama administration, but as the target of its policies. "This includes not only the famous 1%, but also the upper-middle class, Southern states, charter schools, politically active conservatives, private businesses, the Catholic church, electric utilities, doctors driven out of ObamaCare's health networks and those famous partisans, the Little Sisters of the Poor. A trial date has not yet been set for Tsarnaev, 20, who was indicted in June on 30 federal counts, including 17 that carry the death penalty. Prosecutors say Tsarnaev and his brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, placed two bombs near the end of the marathon on 15 April 2013. Three people were killed and more than 260 injured in the attack. Tsarnaev is also accused of participating in the murder of a police officer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, died in a confrontation with police after the bombing. Tony Perkins, Washington Update """Bolder than Holder: Cruz Demands Answers from DOJ For once, Eric Holder is conducting an investigation instead of being the subject of one. Even that's proving to be a tall task for the U.S. Attorney General, whose agency can't seem to put aside its political motives long enough to give conservatives a fair shake. And while accountability isn't exactly the motto of this Justice Department, Congress at least expected a pretense of concern over the very serious allegations of conservative targeting at the IRS. At a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday, Attorney General Holder feigned interest as he listened to members rant about the DOJ's indifference over one of the most shocking scandals to hit the IRS in modern history. It's "astonishing," said Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) of Holder's lack of urgency. Despite stacks of evidence dating back to 2010, DOJ has yet to hold anyone accountable for the high-level shakedown of Tea Party groups applying for nonprofit st ...
I was on Wikipedia and thought this interesting; regarding Eric Holder (us Attorney General) In a January 29, 2013 letter to Holder, Senators Sherrod Brown and Charles Grassley had criticized this Justice Department policy citing "important questions about the Justice Department's prosecutorial philosophy."[121] After receipt of a DoJ (dept. of justice) response letter, Brown and Grassley issued a statement saying, "The Justice Department's response is aggressively evasive. It does not answer our questions. We want to know how and why the Justice Department has determined that certain financial institutions are 'too big to jail' and that prosecuting those institutions would damage the financial system."[122][123] Holder has financial ties to at least one law firm benefiting from de facto immunity to prosecution. Prosecution rates against crimes by large financial institutions are at 20-year lows.[124]

Eric Holder says the Justice Department will issue banking regulations for state-approved marijuana businesses yo now
So let me get this straight...We have no answers concerning the Black Panther voter intimidation, Fast & Furious, Benghazi, or the IRS scandal where they purposely, and still are mind you, targeting Conservative groups, but the Obama Justice Department along with Eric Holder have subpoenaed Chris Christie's campaign records over blocked traffic lanes and have indicted Dinesh D'Souza for contributing extra money to a Republican candidate? Wow! I'm not sure if any administration in the history of our nation has wielded so much partisan power as Obama. Disgusting!
HOLDER THREATENS SCHOOLS OVER DISCIPLINING BLACKS. More “RACIST” directives coming from Eric Holder’s Justice Department today. Now, Holder is threatening schools if they “unfairly” discipline minorities. Eric Holder is a racist…. His policies while in office have proven as much. …
Good !! So who do we go to for indicting Eric Holder and his USURY-owned public-private partnership (PPP) corporate Federal Government predatory (In)Justice Department practicing the malignant compulsory Religion of Legalism ?
It is time to Impeach Obama! There have been so many outrageous scandals under Obama that it's hard to keep track -- Fast and Furious, Benghazi, unconstitutional appointments, granting Obamacare exemptions to politically connected groups -- but by far the most far-reaching case of corruption under this president is the IRS scandal. Obama used the IRS to bully and intimidate conservative groups for years. He abused his power to silence his opposition and steal the 2012 election Now, none other than scandal-ridden Eric Holder himself has tasked his Justice Department with supposedly "investigating" the IRS's completely reprehensible actions. Does anyone really think Obama's partner-in-crime is going to conduct a real investigation into the IRS's behavior? It gets worse. Holder's Justice Department chose Obama supporter and White House guest, Barbara Bosserman, to lead the entire investigation of the IRS scandal! This left-wing benefactor donated thousands and thousands of dollars to President Obama's electi ...
Anti-justice Department head Eric Holder is about to HANDCUFF THE FBI CONCERNING USING RACE AND RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION OF SUSPECTED TERRORISTS...! What??? They may as well just stop any investigation and prosecution of terrorists! Then begin counting the increased number of murdered Americans here and abroad! Holder must go, ALONG WITH HIS TRAITOR BOSS!!
The Justice Department under its despicable leader, Eric Holder, has just announced they will no longer use religion as a criteria in profiling for terrorism. Are you kidding me? Way to throw a giant umbrella of protection over radical Muslims. After all, all of the identified terrorists were radical Muslims. Lord, save us from ourselves and our own stupidity!
Bad news. Wisconsin Republican Jim Sensenbrenner has introduced a bill that would give Eric Holder and his Justice Department new powers to monitor the use of foreign language election materials in polling places. It would also allow Holder to block voter ID and citizenship verification measures.
Justice Department under Eric Holder shelved the investigation of the IRS who targeted conservative non profit groups such as the Tea Party. These groups were the victims of bias and political enemy hunting prior to Obama's re-election.
Eric Holder just had the "Justice Department" tell schools that they need to have DIFFERENT punishments for black students in order to "fight" racism. This racist man is half of the problem. We need equal rules enforced equally, period. This man proves why congress has the power to impeach bureaucrats, too.
Obama's Justice Department just settled the case against JP Morgan Chase & Co for their involvement in the Bernie Madoff fraud case (Holder signed off on it). These bankers made many, many, many millions of dollars on the scam. JP Morgan agreed to pay a $1.7 billion fine. Not one person there is going to jail. The fine is not being paid by the executives that were involved. The shareholders are going to have to pay it. Not one stockholder made the criminal decision to steal this money but now they are on the hook. If you think Obama and Eric Holder are for the little guy you are a fool. They let the big rich banks get away with theft and fraud and not one person goes to jail. We are the only ones who get screwed.
The president's Justice Department doubled-down today, firing back today to try & lift the stay on the nuns, Little Sisters of the Poor, on being mandated to implement the contraceptive mandate in obamacare. Way to go Eric Holder & our esteemed president. How does feel to bully nuns? They are facing millions of dollars of fines if they lose. Have you read their title? Little Sisters of the Poor? Despicable!
Eric Holder's DOJ has become the Department of no Justice
Eric Holder and his Justice Department released the women convicted of passing messages from the Blind Sheik who is in prison, to those responsible for the first World Trade Center bombing. This is not the first time he has used his office to release terrorists. You have to know Obama was all for this. They are backers of terrorists time and time again.
Sebelius will not be prosecuted for obstruction by Eric Holder's corrupt "Justice" Department. There is NO JUSTICE anymore!
I share You share. Doesn't ANYONE know WHO could have the needed authority to CHARGE AND TRY him for all these CRIMES, we all KNOW he is guilty of?? There has to be some 'entity', other than, the Justice Department, Attorney General, Eric Holder, who, we know WILL NEVER DO HIS DUTY but, THERE MUST BE 'SOMEONE' WHO CAN and WILL DO SO? PASS THIS ALONG EVERYONE NEEDS TO HELP FIND THE ONE!!!
A little sarcasm to keep things in perspective for Americans: By Nick Hodge | Wednesday, November 27th, 2013 There's a lot to be thankful for this year... I'm thankful that I can keep my existing insurance plan and my doctor. I'm thankful for unconstitutional spying by the NSA. I'm thankful we spy on our closest allies. I'm thankful for political targeting by the IRS. I'm also thankful they're being trained with military weapons to enforce taxes, i.e., ObamaCare. I'm thankful the Justice Department snoops on and intimidates journalists. I'm thankful the Senate is trying to define what a "journalist" is. - I'm thankful for Weiner scandals. I'm thankful for government shutdowns. I'm thankful the government so staunchly pursues and prosecutes those who expose government wrongdoing. I'm thankful for a culture of drug abuse and sexual misconduct in the State Department. I'm thankful Eric Holder is unimpeachable. I'm thankful for Texas' intrusion on women's rights. I'm thankful for Fox and NBC cheering on their ...
Who's Mirroring Jim Crow? Louisiana's school voucher program is being pursued by Eric Holder's Justice Department on grounds that it "frustrates and impedes the desegregation process." The Wall Street Journal's Jason L. Riley responds: "Around 90 percent of the recipients are black, and 86 percent of them otherwise would be assigned to public schools that received a D or F grade from the state. In its lawsuit, the Obama administration argued that allowing children to leave these awful schools could make the public school system less white in composition and thus hamper school desegregation efforts. In other words, the Justice Department's position is that the racial balance of a school is more important than whether anyone is learning. Forcing poor blacks to attend the state's worst schools strikes me as something out of the Jim Crow South."

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Pat Toomey (R-Pa.), joined by 29 other Senators, today called for Attorney General Eric Holder to explain why his Justice Department is suing to trap 570 needy children in failing public schools based solely on their skin color.
Late Monday, Obama signed a bill to guarantee pay for active duty military if the government shuts down. Attorney General Eric Holder and Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said essential crime prevention and military services would continue, but some workers would be furloughed. Holder said he would cut his pay by the same amount as the most severely affected Justice Department employees because "we are all in this together."
Back from best trip ever to Italy, this time the northern lake region. Ray and I had a private balcony overlooking Lake Maggiore, and traveled with a grand group of people. Much fun. However.Sorry to hear that Tea Party conservative republicans are intent on financially screwing up the US, and the world, big time. Happy to hear that Eric Holder has the Justice Department suing North Carolina for the general assembly's imbecile, repressive voting laws. One day at the Plantation, then off to the Blue Ridge Mountains for most of October.
Eric Holder made a statement this morning that he would take a cut in his pay during a government shutdown. He wasn't specific about the proportion relative to the rest of the populace's injury, but his was the only voice in Washington declaring that the pain must be shared by those responsible for precipitating it. THE ONLY VOICE. NO-ONE ELSE. NO-ONE. He is Attorney General, the head of the Justice Department. *** right. At least one person there who takes his office literally.

Obama has followed in Bush's footsteps in other ways, too. In 2009, he surprised and dismayed some supporters by putting Alexia Kelley, an anti-abortion Catholic, in charge of the Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships at the HHS, where she oversees the distribution of more than $20 million in grants to religious groups. That same year, Americans United sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder asking for the Justice Department to terminate several contracts with several faith-based groups that were allegedly openly proselytizing to their clients, as well as discriminating in their hiring, in violation of federal law and Justice Department policy. Among the contracts was one to the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, which had received nearly $500,000 in federal funds from the Justice Department under a juvenile-justice grant to run a summer camp for at-risk kids that included Bible studies as part of the program. Nothing came of the protest, and the grants eventually expired. But the Detr ...

FROM THE NEWSROOM: HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Federal officials have announced they'll give $150,000 to put police officers in schools in Newtown, Conn., in the wake of December's massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary there. The grant from the Justice Department is intended to fund two resource officers in Newtown. Attorney General Eric Holder says the department is committed to providing resources to "ensure that the children of Newtown can feel safe and secure at school and elsewhere." In August, the Justice Department authorized spending another $2.5 million in Newtown to help compensate police for overtime, forensic work and security since the shooting. Twenty first-graders and six adults were gunned down in the rampage, one of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history. Police have been present since January at the school Sandy Hook students are using.

Tuesday, June 25, 2013 African Americans applaud Supreme Court decision on Voting Rights Act WASHINGTON, D.C. - Legal experts with the Project 21 black leadership network are hailing a ruling that was handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court today to bring American Civil Rights law into the 21st century by recognizing the evolving racial opinions of the American people and how increased fairness has come with such change. In its decision in the case of Shelby County, Alabama v. Eric H. Holder, Jr., the justices ruled that Section 4 "coverage" provisions within the Voting Rights Act of 1965 do not reflect an America that has changed for the better since the Act was signed into law almost 50 years ago. Up until now, Section 4 was used as a tool to establish certain areas of the country (all or part of 16 states) that needed federal approval to make any changes in their voting laws. "Federalism and state sovereignty are the big winners today -- and, once again, Eric Holder's Justice Department was the loser," s ...
"In 2000, Justice Department officials Seth Waxman and Ronnie Edelman wrote separate letters indicating the Second Amendment Constitutional right to bear arms only applied to well regulated militias and not to individuals. This was after Deputy Attorney-General Eric Holder on ABC's "This Week" (May 2, 1999) proclaimed that the Second Amendment "talks about bearing guns in a well-regulated militia. And I don't think anywhere it talks about an individual." It should be remembered here that Eric Holder would be chosen by President Obama to be U.S. Attorney-General and is currently in that position. In 2001, author William Grigg wrote Global Gun Grab: The United Nations Campaign To Disarm Americans, in which he explained that Americans "who expect an apocalyptic by blue-helmeted UN troops are fixating on the wrong threat. A much more plausible scenario is that UN civilian disarmament policies would be enforced by Americans against Americans." He also warned that, "...the chief impact that the UN will have upo ...

Welcome to you both.     And Mr. Assange, let me begin with you. Thank you for joining us.     What can you tell us about where Edward Snowden is right now and where he's expected to go?     ASSANGE: Thank you, George.     I wish I could answer these questions of yours in more detail.     The situation now with Edward Snowden is very sensitive one. It's a matter of international diplomatic negotiations. So, there's little that I can productively say about what is happening directly.   ...
Alan Dershkowitz, prominent attorney has said something which continues to indicate the curious lack of competence of Eric Holder and his Justice Department. It seems that they are charging Edward Snowden with espionage. If I remember my elective course centuries ago in constitutional law, that charge will not and cannot result in being returned to the USA by Hong Kong authorities. It almost makes the opposite more possible, namely political asylum. Maybe some lawyer on Face Book knows the specifics, but if so, it almost seems as if there is something in the mix with China and our government. Even Holder for all of his massive incompetence cannot be this simple-minded. At least one member of the Justice Department had to caution him.

Mark Kelley, head of Journalism at the New England School of Communications, says the Obama Administration is going after journalists more than any other Presidential Administration since Nixon. Who Is Being Dishonorable? Dishonest? David Limbaugh | Jun 18, 2013 Washington Post columnist Michael Gerson attacked Sen. Rand Paul, my brother, Rush, and my good friend Mark Levin in a recent column for their various comments concerning the National Security Agency's surveillance data collection operation and other administration activities. I find it noteworthy that Gerson -- who holds himself out as measured and reasonable, as one who abhors sloppy thinking and expression, and as one who decries the politics of personal destruction -- has gone out of his way to personally attack Limbaugh and Levin. He challenged their conservatism, patriotism, integrity and honor instead of simply registering his disagreement with their opinions. To make his case, he conflated and distorted their statements. Gerson "stipulate(s)" that "IRS targeting of Tea Party groups is deeply disturbing" and that "Eric Holder's Justice Department is politicized, swaggering and incompetent." Exclusive Commentaries From Mike Huckabee... Eric Holder Watch Pressure is growing on Attorney General Eric Holder to resign, but President Obama is still standing by his man…This week, the White House Chief of Staff issued a statement strongly defending Eric Holder and dismissing criticism of him as partisan political attacks. It must come as a shock to some of the liberal journalists who were appalled by Holder’s assaults on the First Amendment to learn that they’re now Republican Party hacks. Even the Huffington Puff boycotted Holder’s “off the record” meeting on freedom of the press. In defending their boss, the Justice Department has been reduced to legal hair-splitting that even Vidal Sassoon couldn’t fathom. For instance, they now claim he wasn’t lying about not branding Fox News reporter James Rosen as a criminal suspect because he never intended to arrest him. The House Judiciary Committee Chairman said in that case, why was Rosen described as a “flight risk”? If he’s not a ...

Holder can't even tell a good lie By New York Post June 6, 2013 6:50 am Washington ain't what it used to be: The quality of lies is in steep decline. Former Sen. Bob Kerrey of Nebraska once damned fellow Democrat Bill Clinton with faint praise by saying he was "an uncommonly good liar." Now we have Eric Holder. Despite lots of practice, the Attorney General remains an amateur with whoppers. His claim to Congress that he never heard of the Justice Department's "potential prosecution" of a journalist for reporting classified material wasn't just misleading - it was provably false. We know now that Holder approved the subpoena for the telephone and e-mail records of Fox News reporter James Rosen and the affidavit that called Rosen a potential "co-conspirator" in violation of the Espionage Act. Yet Holder is sticking to his story, and had a flunky write to Congress to split hairs. Since there was no ultimate prosecution, the flunky wrote, there was no foul. For Holder, this is business as usual. He lied in hi ...

"But to be clear, you’re not stepping down now?" Williams pressed. "No, I have no intention of doing so now," Holder replied. You have to love the way government works. In a statement issued by the Justice Department regarding the seizure of records belonging to Fox News reporter James Rosen and naming him "an unindicted co-conspirator," they state that they never intended to prosecute him anyway. So in the eyes of Eric Holder, that makes it ok. LOL, "I'm sorry, forgive me?"
Republican leaders of the House Judiciary Committee on Monday accused Attorney General Eric Holder of having something to hide, after the Justice Department issued a formal defense of his questionable testimony on reporter surveillance -- a defense Republicans rejected as inadequate.
Even liberals are starting to insist that Attorney General Eric Holder must go. In a USA Today column posted online Tuesday evening, George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley writes, "I am neither a Republican nor conservative, and I believe Holder should be fired." Turley concludes that Holder "has done little in his tenure to protect civil liberties or the free press. Rather, Holder has supervised a comprehensive erosion of privacy rights, press freedom and due process. This ignoble legacy was made possible by Democrats who would look at their shoes whenever the Obama administration was accused of constitutional abuses." The idea that President Obama would direct the Justice Department to investigate Holder is absurd, Turley suggests: "(Last) Thursday, Obama responded to the outcry over the AP and Fox scandals by calling for an investigation by -- you guessed it -- Eric Holder. He ordered Holder to meet with news media representatives to hear their 'concerns' and report back to him. He ...

Sadly, a plurality of liberals polled this weekend, don't care that either that the IRS targeted conservative groups with their audits, nor that the Press was/is being spied upon by the administration through the Justice Department. (I say spied upon as Eric Holder said there was never any institute to prosecute in the case of James Rosen.) It's an odd occurrence as liberals have most famously been supportive of personal freedoms; something they and conservatives have often found agreement on. I do commend the news organizations that choose not to meet with Eric Holder in his "off the record" meeting, and for those that went, I won't be buying your products moving forward as you have proven yourself not to be journalists. And that includes the WSJ and WP. Kudos to CBS and The New York Times for maintaining the objectivity and importance of the fourth estate... at least for awhile.

From get-out-of-jail-free-cards passed out to drug Money Laundering banks by Eric Holder's Justice Department, to the appointments of Citigroup alumnus and Cayman Islands tax-dodger Jacob Lew as Treasury Secretary, Debevoise & Plimpton partner Mary Jo White over at the Securities and Exchange Commission to the nomination of billionaire Hyatt Hotel heiress, subprime mortgage "pioneer" and union-buster Penny Pritzker to lead the Commerce Department, it's a bankster world, all the time.
President Barack Obama is preparing to nominate James Comey, who was the No. 2 in President George W. Bush's Justice Department, to head the FBI, people familiar with the decision said Wednesday.
Background: Eric Holder wants to have an off-the-record meeting with various and sundry media groups to address their concerns about why the Justice Department
The Big Guns are starting to check in, and here goes mine. “For we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but against principalities, against power, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6: 12. The present scandals going on in Washington provide the perfect time to teach the Body of Christ about the principles of spiritual warfare . Thank you Lord, for the opportunity to equip your people for the victory ahead. Princilple Every spirit being, whether the devil and his minions or God and his angels, must have a willing human person to work thru in this present Church age. Thus, the devil needs Eric Holder to pervert the Justice Department, and God needs you to prevent him from being successful. Principle # 2. The battle is not between democrats or republicans, races or genders, but the battle is over ideas, ideologies, doctrines and belief systems. Principle The devil’s most powerful weapon is money. With it he is able to deceive n ...

Rachel Maddow Show Aids Tyranny By Self Censoring News About Eric Holder I thought of a couple of titles for this article: - The Wicked Witch Of The Left Neither See's, Hear's nor Reports Obama Administration Evil - The name "Eric Holder" is the new Voldemort for the Rachel Maddow Show I Tivo Rachel Maddow. I occasionally watch this show that never lets facts get in the way of a good story. Rachel Maddow is fundamentally dishonest. She will twist facts, omit context, attack straw-men and use every trick in the book to promote leftist ideas, and in that promote the Obama Administration. When she opened last night, she reported on fires and explosions, I waited to see how the Republicans were responsible for these, but it never came. She was filling time in order to not report on Eric Holder, the AP scandal, Benghazi, the attack and use of government against political opponents, including the FBI, the Justice Department, the EPA, the IRS and, well I probably left out a few. Try to imagine a Republican adm . ...
remorse my *** he's sorry he got caught and that's all! that's only reason obams hiding too! inShare 1 President Barack Obama has been mocked for learning about untoward conduct in his administration from the press. But he's on the ball compared with his Attorney General, who wouldn't know about his own poor judgment without reading about it in the papers. Let's hope he has a Google alert set for "Eric Holder." The website The Daily Beast interviewed the Attorney General and Justice Department officials for a piece about how the AG is holding up in the firestorm over two controversial Justice Department leak investigations, one into The Associated Press, the other into Fox News reporter James Rosen. The Daily Beast piece pinpoints when Eric Holder had a crisis of conscience leading him to question his leak-investigating ways. The Washington Post had made inquiries at the Justice Department about the investigation into Rosen stemming from a 2009 leak, and the department's press office had begun to ready it ...

Eric Holder and perjury Perjury may not be such a “hard rap to prove” in Eric Holder’s case Posted: 29 May 2013 08:32 AM PDT (Paul Mirengoff) To my knowledge, Karl Rove was the first commentator to focus attention on a massive problem from which even Eric (“Nine Lives”) Holder may not be able to escape. Two weeks ago, testifying under oath before the House Judiciary Committee, Holder was asked whether the Justice Department could prosecute reporters under the Espionage Act of 1917. His response (emphasis added) was: In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material — this is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy. When he gave this testimony, Holder had personally signed a request to a court to authorize a wiretap on Fox News reporter James Rosen. The request stated that Rosen may have acted as “an aider, abettor and/or co-conspirator” by obtaining national security materials from a government official also und ...

Human Events said that nationally, “The Pew Center for the States estimates about 24 million ineligible voter registrations, including more than 1.8 million dead people listed as voters; about 2.75million with voter registrations in more than one state; and about 12 million voter records with incorrect addresses.” While these numbers are staggering, what is even more shocking is that despite the Justice Department being made aware of these facts, Eric Holder still opposes a national requirement for voters to show ID in order to cast their ballot. People have to present ID to cash a check, buy a beer, test drive a car, and sign their children out when they get picked up for day care.

Yes, Obama has called for an investigation into the Justice Department handling of leaks. And to whom has he assigned this task? None other than Eric Holder - head of the Justice Dept. - who we recently learned personally approved the subpoena to spy on reporter James Rosen. You just can't make this stuff up, folks. Obama another Bush.. who speaks a lot better.
A top Senate Republican on Sunday called for a special or independent counsel to investigate the Justice Department tracking the phone calls of a Fox News reporter, saying Attorney General Eric Holder was too involved in the process to be objective.
I keep hearing that Attorney General Holder can't investigate himself . . . But if you listen to his testimony, he probably wouldn't remember who or what he was investigating . . . besides, his Justice Department really only has one criteria for deciding who gets investigated, and Eric Holder doesn't fit it. (Circle complete - he COULD investigate himself, but he WOULDN'T investigate himself!)
"One of the greatest threats to liberty has been the government taking people's liberty for things that people are in favor of. The Pew Research Group shows that 52 percent of people do not think marijuana should be illegal. And yet there are people in jail, and your Justice Department is continuing to put people in jail, for sale, and use, on occasion, of marijuana. That's something the American public has finally caught up with. It was a cultural lag. And it's been an injustice for 40 years in this country to take people's liberty for something that was similar to alcohol. You have continued what is allowing the Mexican cartels power, and the power to make money, ruin Mexico, hurt our country by having a Prohibition in the late 20th and 21st century. We saw it didn't work in this country in the 20s. We remedied it. This is the time to remedy this Prohibition, and I would hope you would do so." --Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN), criticizing Attorney General Eric Holder in the U.S. House of Representatives, May 1 ...

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder approved the decision to seize the phone records and personal emails of Fox News reporter James Rosen, the Justice Department disclosed late Friday.
The review ordered by President Obama into the Justice Department's policies on pursuing reporters' records could have Attorney General Eric Holder effectively reviewing his own actions.
On the Friday before Memorial day, the IRS was closed due to sequestration while the rest of Washington just plain didn't work. Eric Holder stunned the town by showing up at his desk after HuffPost called for his head yesterday. And President Obama forgot to salute the Marine guarding his helicopter but made up for it by giving him a White House umbrella. This is HUFFPOST HILL for Friday, May 24th, 2013: White House WANTED TO KEEP ROSEN SUBPOENAS UNDER WRAPS - New Yorker: "The Obama Administration fought to keep a search warrant for James Rosen's private e-mail account secret, arguing to a federal judge that the government might need to monitor the account for a lengthy period of time. The new details are revealed in a court filing detailing a back and forth between the Justice Department and the federal judges who oversaw the request to search a Gmail account belonging to Rosen, a reporter for Fox News. A 2009 article Rosen had written about North Korea sparked an investigation; Ronald C. Machen, Jr., th ...
Eric Holder is starved of deputies at Justice Department as six top spots remain open |
Morning Rant: Why stop with the Associated Press? The latest revelation has the Eric Holder led Justice Department going after Fox News. What’s next” United Press International? Reuters? Let’s include some newspapers while they’re at it. The Washington Post, the New York Times? Oh excuse me, you won’t find them targeting the New York Times because that is a liberal newspaper that never criticizes Obama or the administration. Newly uncovered court documents show the Justice Department seized phone records associated with several Fox News lines as part of a leak investigation a revelation that comes as the White House Correspondents' Association spoke out against the administration's monitoring of reporters. Documents filed in October 2011 appear to show exchanges that match the specific locations of Fox News' White House, Pentagon, State Department and other operations. The last four digits of each of the phone numbers listed are redacted in the government filing so it is impossible to kn ...

I expect, no I demand respect, for the Office of President and a love of our country and her citizenry from the leader entrusted with the governance of same. President and Mrs. Reagan displayed an unparalleled love for the country and her people. The Reagan's made Americans feel good about themselves and about what we could accomplish. Obama's arrogance by appointing 32 leftist czars and constantly bypassing congress is impeachable. Eric Holder is probably the MOST incompetent and arrogant DOJ head to ever hold the job. Could you envision President Reagan instructing his Justice Department to act like jack-booted thugs? Presidents are politicians and all politicians are known and pretty much expected to manipulate the truth, if not outright lie, but even using that low standard, the Obama's have taken lies, dishonesty, deceit, mendacity, subterfuge and obfuscation to new depths. They are verbally abusive to the citizenry, and they display an animus for civility. I do not like them, because they both displ ...

Four reasons corrupt Holder must resign or face impeachment by Tiffany Madison DALLAS, May 16th, 2013 – New details regarding the Benghazi disaster, the IRS’ harassment of conservatives and the Justice Department’s spying on journalists materialize daily. Every revelation fuels investigative fires likely to confirm how high each scandal scaled the bureaucratic hierarchy. Eventually, those responsible must face consequences for corruption and deceit. Unlike the inquiries surrounding Benghazi and the Internal Revenue Service’s political bullying, the scandal implicating Eric Holder’s Justice Department with unconstitutional spying activities is fairly straightforward. As reported, the DoJ secretly obtained two months of phone records from journalists, treading on the First Amendment in the process. According to Holder, Deputy Attorney General James Cole “ultimately authorized the subpoena”, but he can no longer hide behind the desks of his subordinates. The buck stops with him. Political savvy ...
By PEGGY NOONAN Updated May 17, 2013, 6:43 p.m. ET are in the midst of the worst Washington scandal since Watergate. The reputation of the Obama White House has, among conservatives, gone from sketchy to sinister, and, among liberals, from unsatisfying to dangerous. No one likes what they're seeing. The Justice Department assault on the Associated Press and the ugly politicization of the Internal Revenue Service have left the administration's credibility deeply, probably irretrievably damaged. They don't look jerky now, they look dirty. The patina of high-mindedness the president enjoyed is gone. Something big has shifted. The standing of the administration has changed. As always it comes down to trust. Do you trust the president's answers when he's pressed on an uncomfortable story? Do you trust his people to be sober and fair-minded as they go about their work? Do you trust the IRS and the Justice Department? You do not. The president, as usual, acts as if all of this is totally unconnected to him. He's ...
The outgoing IRS commissioner claimed Friday that his agency's practice of singling out conservative groups for extra scrutiny was foolish and horrible -- but not illegal. Status UpdateBy Sarah PalinScandalous Hat Trick Mr. President, when it rains it pours, but most Americans hold their own umbrellas. Today in the Rose Garden you dismissed the idea of a Special Counsel to investigate the IRS scandal. With that, your galling political hubris shined bright in the midst of today’s dark clouds. Mr. President, how can we trust your Justice Department to conduct an independent investigation when there is a systemic violation of the Hatch Act throughout your administration? Surely you are aware that the Hatch Act prevents certain federal employees from engaging in political activity. Specifically, it’s illegal for these federal employees to engage in action in support of or in opposition to a political party, a candidate for partisan political office, or a partisan political group. Yet that is exactly what’s happened within the IRS, the Justice Department, and in the Benghazi cover-up. This scandalous hat trick is on your watch. It is not believable that you knew nothing ab ...

Holder Melts Down Can anyone, with a straight face, argue that Eric Holder should remain as Attorney General, and the country can have faith in his abilities and judgment in the coming months and years? I mean, apparently he doesn't even write things down anymore: Lawmakers skewered Attorney General Eric Holder yesterday over the Justice Department's sweeping effort to snoop on Associated Press reporters and editors -- while the embattled Cabinet secretary kicked responsibility down the chain of command. Holder was in the hot seat for hours of testimony before the House Judiciary Committee just days after the scandal broke, telling lawmakers that his deputy, James Cole, was the one who authorized the sweeping subpoena that caused an uproar in both parties. "It's an ongoing matter and an ongoing matter in which I know nothing," Holder said. Holder says he recused himself from the matter completely -- but in an embarrassing admission, he said he hasn't found a written record of that action. Dana Milbank rip ...

Why! Why is our Justice Department, the US Justice Department, bringing a non-US citizen, who has sworn to destroy our system of government, and oh yeah our justice system is part of that very same government last I heard, treating this terrorist better than our own citizens? I'm begining to believe the ONLY thing Eric Holder hates more than white people is the US way of life. It was bad enough when he refused to prosecute those 2 Black Panther guys for terrorizing voters and forced gun shops along the border to sell guns to drug dealers, who killed border agents and innocent Mexican citizens with those guns then blamed the gun dealers and our 2nd Amendment for those very deaths. Why is this man still in office?? Don't make some sense to me!!!
As US Attorney General, Eric Holder has been instrumental in keeping the Justice Department's drone memos detailing the legal justification for US drone strikes a secret from the public—and from Congress.
Should anyone eager to see federal criminal justice reform be rooting FOR the sequester? The question in the title of this post in prompted by these two recent commentaries by Walter Pavlo, who writes about white-collar crime over at Forbes' website: Sequester Impact on Federal Prisons Here's an Idea To Reduce The Deficit -- Release Some Federal Inmates The first post above links to this intriguing letter from AG Eric Holder which details the significant "downsizing" that would be required within the Justice Department if the sequester's automating budget cuts kick in. The second post concludes with these notable points about how we might sensibly cut some federal costs at limited risk to public saefty: In a time when we want people off of government assistance, the federal justice system is feeding more people into prison …. and believe me, prison IS government assistance (food, shelter, healthcare, supervision and monthly stipend (yes, inmates are paid)). Obama also needs to drop Eric Holder as an Attorney General. He's failed the Justice Department repeatedly
(GunAuction.com) — The Justice Department announced Wednesday that Assistant Attorney General Lanny A. Breuer, head of the Criminal Division, "will leave the department on March 1, 2013." Reason: A deal may be near regarding Operation Fast and Furious. The House of Representatives cited Attorney General Eric Holder for contempt last year and the House has filed a lawsuit to enforce its subpoena against Holder. It is demanding that he turn over records showing how the Justice Department responded to congressional inquiries about the gun-running scandal. But Politico reported that both the House and the Justice Department have asked that a scheduled hearing in the case be delayed as the two sides try to work out a deal. Breuer's departure may be part of that deal. In a news release announcing Breuer's departure, the Justice Department touted his accomplishments, including a mention that "the Criminal Division has made great strides in the fight against violent crime along the southwest border and across t ...

New York goes into a midnight session to vote on gun control and surprises...no one. Obama says he will task the Justice Department with cracking down on gun trafficking. The Justice Department...led by Eric Holder...responsible for the most well-known gun trafficking goat screw in history...will crack down on gun trafficking. Gotta laugh, baby. Some things you can do to prepare are to buy the things you ALREADY intended to buy. Don't go out and buy the first semi-auto you can find because you think it'll be banned. If it's not something you already wanted, you'll end up paying too much and won't be able to sell it for that much when the panic subsides. If you shoot a lot, you probably already have a stock of ammo or you reload so shortages probably don't concern you as much. But, if you're not stocked up, buy what you can when you can but rest assured the ammo companies are operating full-tilt and ammo will become available soon. Finally, it's been my recommendation for a long time to do your research on ...

Vice President Biden and Attorney General Eric Holder met with a wide range of groups invested in the debate over gun violence on Thursday, according to lists released by the White House and Justice Department.
WKLY NEWS: Public Opinion Poll: Why is everyone worried about the US government taking away guns from law abiding citizens? The US Justice Department sponsored a gun program to give drug dealers in Mexico assault style weapons with no background check. They do not fully prosecute those that use guns as weapons in our convenience store robberies, assaults on individuals in their own homes, or terrorists that try and take away our liberty. In fact, they will provide a public defender for those accused of attempted mass murder on our military bases and movie theaters. Fear not America, Obama, Joe Biden, Eric Holder, Nacy Pelosi, and Harry Reid are in control of the situation. (Right or Wrong)

Attorney General Denies Reality of Raids Attorney General Eric Holder faced tough questions before the House Judiciary Committee at the beginning of June over the crackdown on state medical cannabis programs. Pressed by several Representatives on why there have been more than 200 federal raids on state-authorized medical cannabis providers since 2009, given that President Obama had promised he wouldn't use "Justice Department resources to try to circumvent state laws on this issue," Holder flatly denied anyone in compliance had been targeted.
OBAMA THREATENS TO INVOKE STATE SECRETS IN MOTION TO DISMISS DRONE LAWSUIT December 17, 2012 • 10:10AM As reported by Politico by Josh Gerstein on Friday, Eric Holder's DOJ, acting on behalf of Obama, asked a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit over the killing of three American citizens in drone strikes in Yemen earlier this year: alleged Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) leader Anwar Al-Awlaki, his son Abdulrahman, and alleged AQAP magazine editor Samir Khan. All three were American citizens. The administration also threatened to invoke the State Secrets Privilege if the suit is not dismissed on other grounds. In the motion to dismiss, Justice Department lawyers argue that the necessity for the strikes and the viability of any alternatives is a question beyond the proper purview of the courts. The argument made by the DOJ is essentially that made by Hitler's crown jurist Carl Schmitt, that the leader is also the judge. "Plaintiffs thus invite this Court to determine whether an individual in Yeme ...

After yesterday's closed-door testimony of David Petraeus on the Hill, we now know for a fact that for two weeks the Obama Administration repeatedly and relentlessly lied to the American people about what they knew was the truth behind the September 11 anniversary attack on our consulate in Libya. Unfortunately, we also now know that they're going to get away with it. Within 24 hours of a coordinated assault that left four Americans dead, then-CIA Director David Petraeus was convinced the intelligence proved a local Libyan militia affiliated with al-Qaeda was responsible, and said so in his report. Then the Petraeus report was edited (probably by Eric Holder's Justice Department) to remove the terror angle and pile the blame on a spontaneous protest over a YouTube video. Over the course of two weeks, this blatantly false Narrative would only grow and sharpen, even though all knew it was a lie -- and by "all," I mean the White House, the terrorists, the media, and anyone with an IQ above room temperature. ...
Eric Holder now: "We do not share, outside the Justice Department, outside the FBI, the facts of ongoing investigations."
Obama showed utter contempt for the American (and, we might add, Mexican) people by asking Attorney General Eric Holder to remain at the Justice Department. Holder's department ran that fabulous failure known as Operation Fast and Furious, which caused two American and hundreds of Mexican deaths. Holder shouldn't serve again, unless it's serving time.

IT IS TIME TO FIRE ERIC HOLDER! Eric Holder's misdeeds in the Justice Department, particularly involving the Fast and Furious scandal, have reached a Fever Pitch, leading Congress to hold the Attorney General in contempt. So what's next for Holder? Will he finally be removed from his position, or will his connections to the Obama administration allow him to keep his job?
“Crimes have been committed here without a doubt,” said James Koutoulas, an attorney and trader who has been advocating on behalf of MF Global customers. “We think there are enough facts out here to start arresting people and start filing charges.” Regulators from the SEC and Commodity Futures Trading Commission “can only seek civil penalties and restitution for customers, but their findings could help form the basis of a criminal case brought by the Justice Department.” Oh, that’s encouraging. Advice for SEC regulators: do not send Attorney General Eric Holder an email to request that criminal case. He doesn’t always read his emails. He missed a ton of them dealing with some wacky hijinks involving American guns in Mexico. Jon Corzine himself may face a civil suit from the trustee overseeing MF Global’s liquidation. Meanwhile, he is still delivering huge amounts of money to the Obama campaign. According to the Weekly Standard, Corzine is listed as a top bundler in the most recent O ...
There must be something in the Constitution to protect us from a corrupt Justice Department, Eric Holder, & battle voter fraud. Attorneys?
I take the administration at their word, for now, that the president didn't know about the Patraeus scandal until after the election- but I would love one of my friends on the left to come out and say they don't believe that Eric Holder, the head of the Justice Department, knew that his FBI had been investigating the head of the CIA in secret for months. So if Holder sat on this, only telling Clapper on election night, then Holder is culpable for allowing a months long compromise in our nation's intelligence- for political purposes. Now, those of you on the left who see the obvious in this case, what do you now think about Fast and Furious, when Holder said things under oath that he later had to retract when evidence showed he was lying. Is it possible that he's not the stand up guy who accidentally purjored himself multiple times. There's more to the story to come out, I'm sure, and I could be wrong, but when Holder resigns to spend more time with his family and Obama exerts Executive Privilege again to ...
I am not ignoring the concerns about voter fraud, I am just not sure what to do about them. I notice that most of the conservative media is not biting on the voter fraud angle. On some level, many people have come to accept that there will be voter fraud. We are also a nation accustomed to knowing the wrong team won on Sunday, because we have the video to prove it, but nothing is done to adjust the win or loss column. I know some of you will get mad at me for being realistic (IMHO), but do you really expect Eric Holder's Justice Department to support any sort of major, nationwide investigation of voter fraud? He was probably at the meetings where it was discussed in advance (there's my conspiracy theory). You would need mountains of indisputable evidence that the MSM would still ignore and label the Republicans as sore losers still out to undermine Obama anyway they can. That is why you don't see me focused on voter fraud, but I understand why many of you are. It should be unacceptable and not ...
Watch out for Eric Holder's DOJ to press forward in a major way against the state of Louisiana this month. They're going to demand that Louisiana turn over its entire voter database to the Justice Department, including information you can't even imagine would be shared with bureaucrats in Washington, based on a ridiculous lawsuit which alleges that Louisiana doesn't register welfare recipients to vote with sufficient vigor.
Jamu Green... Policy contributer accuses The Romney Camp of preparing to intimidate voters at the polls. Umm.. I seem to remember a little issue involving the Black Panther Organization showing up at a polling station in Philadelphia and the Justice Department under Eric Holder decided not to press charges ...so.. Jamu Green really needs to stop throwing stones.
MRCTV's Joe Schoffstall attempted to find out exactly what Attorney General Eric Holder was telling Justice Department lawyers who are in charge of enforcing federal election laws in the final two weeks leading up the Presidential election. As
A coalition of business executives and attorneys have been pressing unsuccessfully to get a Congressional review into whether Attorney General Eric Holder's Justice Department improperly quashed a criminal investigation related to a federal bankruptcy case. Correspondence in March and May with the ...
Good news, bad news. The good news is that, at least in Cuyahoga County, the Hart Intercivic voting machines that the Romneys - specifically Tagg - has an interest in through layers of investments tied back to Bain Capital are NOT being used. The bad news is that they ARE being used elsewhere and, since I got that information from counsel at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections it has to pretty much be taken at face value that the reports are true. I sure hope Eric Holder and the Justice Department does a thorough investigation on this obvious major conflict of interest and potential for massive voter fraud on the part of the Republican Party. This IS the Watergate-level event I said in September that I expected from the GOP.
From Family Research Council Share with Friends | | November 01, 2012 | Permalink I Know What You Deed Last Summer... If the Justice Department keeps ignoring its job, Eric Holder could be the only Attorney General to leave office as the subject of more investigations than he's headed up. The scandal-ridden Holder, who was formally censured by Congress in June, now faces new allegations. This time, reporters are tagging America 's chief law enforcer with another cover-up: ties to a corrupt abortion doctor, who was indicted last year for more than $380,000 in Medicaid fraud. According to records, Dr. Tyrone Malloy, who was twice reprimanded for malpractice, operated his Georgia clinic out of a building that Holder's wife (an OB/GYN) and sister-in-law co-own. Reporters for Watchdog.org followed the paper trail to a family trust, where the Holders transferred ownership after President Obama's inauguration. Both Sharon Malone Holder and Margie Malone Tuckson, Holder's sister-in-law, have tried to cover their ...
Greta Van Susteren believes our Justice Department should be monitoring voting. Hu-huh, that's the one headed by Eric Holder isn't it? M,M,M
Not again! Another Republican party hireling caught throwing out registration forms so that people registered as Democrats can't vote on Election Day in Virginia! I seem to remember that in law school we learned that denying someone a federally guaranteed right under color of state law is a violation of Section 1991 of the Civil Rights Act. Where the *** is the Justice Department?? Anybody know Eric Holder??
On Oct. 17, Eric Holder handed out the Justice Department's annual awards for distinguished service to a slew of department employees. Featured at the top of the awards announcement were the men and women who successfully prosecuted 10 New Orleans police officers for killing innocent civilians in th...
This is from Chapter 10 (Tyranny of the Anti-Justice Department) of Dr. Michael Savage's book Trickle Down Tyranny: On October 12, 2011, Eric Holder announced that the United States had uncovered a plot to assassinate the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States, Adel al-Jubeir -- on American soil! The plot was supposedly hatched by the Iranian Quds secret service with the knowledge of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Although one of the suspects, Manssor Arbabsiar, was arrested in September, Holder didn't make the announcement until the next month, only days before he was to be subpoenaed to appear before a Congressional Committee to testify in the Fast and Furious guns-to-Mexico scandal that had come to light in the previous six months. Holder's report about the assassination attempt included this extraordinary information: The Iranian secret service was said to be trying to hire the Mexican Zeta drug cartel to perform the assassination. Apparently they would be using weapons that Holder's Bureau of ...

Romney kicked Obama's butt so hard in that debate that Eric Holder of the Justice Department is going to charge Romney with a "hate crime"
Another Border Patrol agent has been murdered near the U.S. - Mexico border. It's certainly a good thing that America has Eric Holder and at the helm of the Justice Department to direct the personnel who will lead the investigation.wasn't he held in contempt by Congress recently for his leadership in "Fast and Furious?"
Our President and his Justice Department allowed automatic weapons to deliberately get in the hands of drug cartel members. Hundreds of Mexican citizens were...
Where is Eric Holder and the Justice Department with all the Voter Suppression going on?
The US Justice Department has blocked the implementation of a Texas statute to require voters to present a photo ID at the voting booth. Last December, the same Eric Holder-led department blocked the enforcement of a similar law in South Carolina. Vetoing state laws governing voting procedures shows...
Some are calling for Ambassador Rice's resignation because of lies she told on ths Sunday talk shows, I disagree! Secretary Sebellus clearly violated the Hatch Act and keeps her job. Eric Holder keeps his job despite heading a scandal ridden Justice Department. Why start with Ambassador Rice? -Writte with tongue firmly placed in cheek.-
Obama appeals ruling which protected Catholic family business from HHS mandate by Ben Johnson Wed Sep 26, 2012 13:22 EST DENVER, September 26, 2012, (LifeSiteNews.com) – A judge’s order will not stop the Obama administration from pressing forward in its quest to punish a Catholic family’s business for refusing to comply with the HHS mandate. Hercules Industries, an HVAC business in Denver, won an injunction against the controversial provision requiring employers to cover contraceptives, sterilization, and abortion-inducing drugs in its health care plans on July 27. On Tuesday, the Justice Department appealed the ruling to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, also based in Denver. “On the same day President Obama spoke of religious freedom at United Nations, his Justice Department acted to deny that freedom to small business owners,” said Maureen Ferguson and Ashley McGuire of The Catholic Association in a statement e-mailed to LifeSiteNews.com. Eric Holder's Justice Department appealed the religi ...
Agent Jesus E. Diaz Jr., a U.S. Border Patrol agent has been sentenced to two years in prison for improperly lifting the arms of a 15-year-old drug smuggling suspect while handcuffed — in what the Justice Department called a deprivation of the teenager’s constitutional right to be free from the use of unreasonable force. We have DHS Chief Napolitano and Eric Holder to thank for this!
How Eric Holder and the Justice Department let each other down. My new post on Fast and Furious scandal.
Mexican prosecutors say they will continue investigating the botched-gun smuggling probe known as Operation Fast and Furious even after a U.S. Justice Department internal watchdog report concluded...
