The Legacy of Corrupt Eric Holder: 16 scandals (of many more): One – Discriminatory Hiring Practices On August 8, 2011 documents were released by the DOJ, subsequent to a court battle, which revealedthe DOJ’s Civil Rights Division had been engaging in politicized hiring in the career civil service ranks. According to PJ Media, the politicized hiring practices of Holder’s DOJ are nearly unprecedented in scope. In June 2008, Holder admitted to the American Constitution Society (an organization started as a liberal counterweight to the Federalist Society) that the Justice Department was “going to be looking for people who share our values.” The DOJ’s hiring records speak for themselves as this in depth study by PJ Media demonstrates. Two – Fort Hood Following the Fort Hood attack on November 5, 2009 not one of the post-attack reports issued by the DOJ mentioned Nidal Hasan’s Islamist ideology. And, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) refused to call the attack an act of terrorism on its ...
Attorney General HOLDER ANNOUNCES NEXT STEPS TO ADDRESS CONCERNS REGARDING THE CITY OF FERGUSON AND ST. Louis County Police DepartmentS WASHINGTON- Attorney General Eric Holder announced today that the Justice Department has launched two initiatives to address concerns about police services in the city of Ferguson and in St. Louis County, Missouri. First, in addition to the ongoing criminal Civil Rights investigation, the Civil Rights Division has opened a civil pattern or practice investigation into allegations of unlawful policing by the City of Ferguson Police Department (FPD). Second, the Attorney General announced that the Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Office has launched a Collaborative Reform Initiative with the St. Louis County Police Department (SLCPD). "The Department of Justice is working across the nation to ensure that the criminal justice system is fair, constitutional and free of bias," said Attorney General Holder. Good questions...what say you Mr. President? Michael Savage, love him or hate him, has some questions he would like to ask Obama...questions the media refuses to ask. I think they are worthy of review. 1. Why did you insist on pushing into the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department a lawyer who defended the assassin of a Police Officer? A lawyer who has such a hatred for the police and law enforcement that he called them “an occupying fascist presence”? 2. Why did you refuse to send military help to the people trapped in Benghazi? 3. Why did you attack Israel and have John Kerry threaten the Jewish people with another intifada and boycotts unless they gave away half their nation? 4. Why have you fired so many combat generals on such slim charges at a time when China is on the march and the Islamo-fascists are stronger than ever? 5. Why have you dismissed almost the entire nuclear command on trumped-up charges? 6. Why do you keep expanding the welfare state when the economy is so weak? Such a ...

Good news (for a change) In a bipartisan effort this week, the Senate blocked confirmation of an unacceptable nominee to lead the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division. As head of the NAACP's Legal Defense Fund, Debo Adegbile helped fan racial tensions by joining the offensive public crusade to lionize Mumia Abu-Jamal, the unrepentant killer of Philadelphia Police Officer Danny Faulkner.
I will also be reminding all of you that our two CT Liberal Democrat SENATORS- Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal, who we both supported by state and local police unions stabbed those same supporters in the back by voting in favor of this guy! Remember this when they are up for reelection! Thank goodness there are a few Dems in the senate with some sort common sense! Senate Democrats failed to muster enough support to push a controversial Justice Department nominee past a key test vote on Wednesday, leaving the nomination stalled amid bipartisan concerns about his past work on behalf of convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal. The nomination of Debo Adegbile for head of the Civil Rights Division was blocked, on a 47-52 vote.
The Senate vote against advancing Debo Adegbile, President Barack Obama's choice to lead the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, because of his connection with the legal case of Mumia Abu-Jamal was just plain wrong in Jim Vance's view. Watch his opinion here:
By Larry Lease President Obama made three mistakes concerning the nomination of Debo Adegbile to head the Civil Rights Division at the Justice Department. Each of these mistakes is going to cost him severely. First, he appointed Adegbile, a fiery, far left wing lawyer who defended a notorious cop killer, Mumia Abu-Jamal pro bono, and got him off of the death penalty. Abu-Jamal has been a celebrated cause of the left, not because he didn’t execute a Police Officer named Daniel Faulkner in 1981, but because of a symbol of alleged racism. Adegbile also has some rather arresting views on everything from the death …read more Source: Turning Point USA
Recently, President Obama nominated Mr. Debo Adegbile to serve as Assistant Attorney General for the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division. I oppose this nomination. Mr. Adegbile volunteered to represent Mumia Abu-Jamal, who murdered Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner in December 1981. As Officer Faulkner's widow explained, Adegbile was part of a legal team that extended her grief for 32 years, spreading misinformation about the crime and falsely proclaiming Abu-Jamal's innocence. Officer Faulkner can no longer speak for himself. We speak for him now. Therefore, I will continue to urge my colleagues to oppose Mr. Adegbile's nomination and defeat it on the Senate floor - US Sen Pat Toomey
Suffolk police to make 'significant changes' in dealing with minorities in DOJ settlement By Víctor Manuel Ramos, William Murphy, Robert E. Kessler, Paul Larocco, Rick Brand And Tania Lopez Newsday (December 3, 2013) Suffolk County police reached an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice to overhaul policing in minority communities, capping a four-year federal investigation that followed the fatal stabbing of Ecuadorean immigrant Marcelo Lucero in Patchogue. The November 2008 death labeled a hate crime revealed allegations that Suffolk police had not fully investigated reports of other attacks by teens on Latino immigrants, triggering the 2009 probe into discriminatory policing by the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division. The 27-page agreement released Tuesday seeks to ensure that Suffolk provides services "that are equitable, respectful, and free of unlawful bias" by training officers, tracking hate crimes and reports of police discrimination, assigning bilingual liaison officers to the sev ...

Is Holder warning the court? (If he is doing anything, it is threatening, not warning.) my comment With the Supreme Court preparing to deliver two landmark decisions on same-sex marriage, the Justice Department on Tuesday celebrated *** pride with speeches by Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr., Sen. Tammy Baldwin, Wisconsin Democrat, the first openly *** member of the Senate, and singer-songwriter and *** activist Melissa Etheridge. In what was billed as "A Year of Firsts" by the official website for LGBT employees at the Justice Department, Mr. Holder said the nation has made "great strides in overcoming the obstacles and biases that too often affect *** *** bisexual and transgender individuals." And nowhere was that clearer, he said, than in the work performed by the department's Civil Rights Division. "Under the landmark Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act - which President Obama signed into law in 2009 - we've strengthened our ability to hold accountable those who ...
FROM THE NEWSROOM: PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — The U.S. Justice Department has found that a Providence vocational school ran what amounted to a sweatshop involving developmentally disabled students. WPRI-TV reports the department's Civil Rights Division sent a letter to Rhode Island's capital outlining violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act at the Harold H. Birch Vocational School. The department found disabled students were paid little or nothing while working long hours in a "sheltered workshop" bagging, labeling, collating and assembling jewelry under contracts between the school and private businesses. It also found students were funneled into a similar segregated program after leaving Birch. Mayor Angel Taveras says the city shut down the program and is entering into a settlement agreement with the Justice Department. He says he's also talking with public safety officials about a criminal investigation.
Politics of race hidden behind the Tom Perez confirmation fight By Juan Williams Politico (June 3, 2013) Thomas Perez continues to be denied Senate confirmation as President Obama's labor secretary. Republicans paint Perez, the lone Hispanic nominee to the cabinet, as a partisan who pursued a racial agenda as the former head of the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), the GOP's leading Hispanic voice, has called Perez a "disastrous" choice for the cabinet. Yet during the 2012 national election, Perez mounted a record number of cases aimed at halting racial bias in voting. He specifically filed a case to halt a redistricting effort in Texas that federal judges ruled damaging to Latino voters. Perez also pursued an "unlawful discrimination" case against Arizona's Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the lawman famous for his crackdown on mostly Hispanic illegal immigrants. Hector Sanchez, president of the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda, charges that efforts to block Perez from becoming ...
The American Pravda is right on when they say there is racism in America. However, it's not the Tea Party movement that is guilty. It's the Obama regime, and the key player is Eric Holder. Try to imagine David Duke intimidating black voters during a presidential election, and watch the sparks fly, as they rightly should. Nobody should be afraid to cast his vote on Election Day in the U.S. But, in an Obama regime, the rules don't apply for black people. Hey, Janeane, this is racism straight up.  Rejoice because the truth is being exposed. Read from the American Thinker: Devastating Black Panther voter intimidation testimony today (updated) Thomas Lifson "Christopher Coates, former voting chief for the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, has given powerful testimony this morning, under oath, about the dismissal of charges against members of the New Black Panther Party who carried truncheons at a polling place in Philadelphia. Hmm...I'm pretty much on fire right now as I'm re-reading "The Bystander"...On page 1 as the author details the unrest in Summer of 1963 he mentions Thelton Henderson, the first black attorney in the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division who who warned that the situation in Danville, VA was "terribly tense and Negroes are about to shoot." Wouldn't it be interesting if he was briefing JFK, RFK and LBJ in the as Strom Thurmond and his cronies are escorted into the Oval Office?? Oh, the air conditioning in the White House will not be working on the day of the Strom/JFK showdown. : )
I Am always SO Happy to meet the cast and crew of Lawless America! :) We Are going to ROCK this Nation and take it by fire storm when hundreds of Us go to Washington in January!!! When I was finally successful through HUD FOIA to demand them to release My HUD 'Fair and Equal ' Housing report that erroneously and illegally concluded that I was not retaliated against, the HUD employee in Boston in charge of My request, God Bless Him, Ron Armstead, said that I created quite a fire storm at HUD. This was this past Spring and after over a years worth of repeated attempts, including demands all the way to HUD Secretary Donovan who I have made repeated attempts since May 20, 2011 to contact. This fire storm has made it all the way to President Obama who sent Me an e-mail from The White House last year telling Me to contact the Justice Department. I waited, as I take My direction from the Holy Spirit who guided Me to make that complaint to the Civil Rights Division that brought a complaint on behalf of the Latino ...

When Thomas E. Perez took over the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division in October, he found an office that was a shadow of its historic self.
Two Police of Puerto Rico Officers Indicted on Federal Civil Rights and Perjury Charges Police of Puerto Rico Lieutenant Erick Rivera Nazario and Officer Jimmy Rodriguez Vega were indicted on Civil Rights charges alleging that they used excessive force on two men, the Justice Department announced today. Nazario and Vega allegedly violated the constitutional rights of Jose Irizarry Perez and his father Jose Irizarry Muniz while the two were celebrating the local election results at the Las Colinas housing development in Yauco, Puerto Rico, on Nov. 5, 2008. Rivera was also indicted for making false declarations before the federal Grand Jury during its investigation into the Civil Rights violations. The indictment was announced today by Thomas E. Perez, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division; Rosa Emilia Rodriguez-Velez, U.S. Attorney for the District of Puerto Rico; and Joseph Campbell, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI San Juan Field Office. According to the five-count indictment, Rive ...
Massive assault on voter ID laws Just last week, a federal court struck down a Texas law requiring voters to present a government-issued photo ID before casting a ballot. According to the organization website, “Advancement Project intervened as defendants in this federal litigation in support of the Department of Justice’s position that Texas’ Photo ID law is racially retrogressive and should be denied preclearance under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act.” Prior to the ruling, on Sept. 13, 2011, the Advancement Project sent a letter to the Justice Department, calling on the Civil Rights Division to reject the voter ID law. It also delivered a petition of 120,000 signatures demanding the department deny pre-clearance of Texas’ law. And on Aug. 27, U.S. District Judge Algenon Marbley struck down Ohio’s “wrong precinct” law.
