Attny Gen Eric Holder Finally Did Something Right, Halts Local Cops from Using Asset Seizure Laws Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, has been the single worst AG in American history. His every move has been about politics, not justice, he has abused his position of authority to punish Obama’s political enemies and has forcefully advanced an extremist left-wing agenda. But finally, as he has one foot out the door, Eric Holder has done something right. He’s put an end to local police using Federal Law to seize property. The single biggest misdeed perpetrated by police forces across the nation has been the outright theft under color of law of the property of citizens cops claim are suspects in some crime, real or imaginary. This law is entirely un-American as it declares all suspects guilty before a trial is even scheduled. The civil asset forfeiture program called Equitable Sharing was initially meant as a way to instantly seize the assets and property of drug dealers to prevent them from shifting ...
The United States is a “violator” of human rights and it practices apartheid against the black people, a researcher and historian in Washington says. Dr. Randy Short made the remarks in a phone interview with Press TV on Thursday while commenting on a report which says the US Justice Department will recommend that no Civil Rights charges be brought against a white police officer who fatally shot an unarmed black teenager in Ferguson, Missouri, last summer. “There is not a living soul that is African and American in the United States that expected the United States Justice of Department to bring any charges against Darren Wilson, as it has done nothing in the cases of thousands and thousands of African Americans murdered by the law enforcement for decades,” Dr. Short said. “What’s most insulting is a fraud that Mr. Eric Holder, who allegedly resigned from being attorney general, was Obama’s appointed person to go to Paris, France, for the Charlie Hebdo false flag shooting, as the representati ...

Attorney General Eric Holder will announce the findings of a Justice Department investigation into the use of excessive force by Cleveland Police Department
Something I've been pondering this week: A group of Americans is unhappy with the local District Attorney's investigation, so they have the State Attorney General conduct a grand jury investigation. Unhappy with the results and the State Attorney General, the group of Americans convinces the Justice Department to conduct yet another investigation including a Civil Rights investigation. What's going to happen to that group of Americans should the Justice Department yield the same results? Solicit the help of the United Nations? Oh yeah, already did that too. Screaming that something is wrong long enough won't necessarily make it right.
from Senator Barbara Boxer re: Ferguson Police Department Today, following the grand jury's decision in the tragic death of Missouri teenager Michael Brown, I wrote to Attorney General Eric Holder urging the Justice Department to complete a thorough investigation of the Ferguson Police Department. The full text of my letter follows. The Honorable Eric H. Holder, Jr. Attorney General of the United States 950 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington, DC 20530-0001 Dear Attorney General Holder: I am writing to express my strong support for the Department of Justice investigation into whether the Ferguson Police Department has engaged in discriminatory policing practices. It is imperative that we find out if there is a pattern and practice of Civil Rights violations in Ferguson. The heartbreaking death of Michael Brown is only the latest of too many such tragedies that we have seen all across this country. So many of these tragedies are born out of distrust between the police department and the local community. Wh . ...

Eric Holder, who recently resigned as Attorney General and has been widely praised for his efforts at combating drug addiction was responsible for allowing Mexican drug cartels to obtain firearms smuggled into Mexico from the United States. It now seems Holder may also be responsible for providing the cartels with much more than firearms: "Gunwalking" subpoena for AG Holder imminent CBS News investigative correspondent Sharyl Attkisson, who has reported on this story from the beginning, said on "The Early Show" that the investigation into the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)'s so-called "Fast and Furious" operation branches out to a case involving grenades. Sources tell her a suspect was left to traffic and manufacture them for Mexican drug cartels. Police say Jean Baptiste Kingery, a U.S. citizen, was a veritable grenade machine. He's accused of smuggling parts for as many as 2,000 grenades into Mexico for killer drug cartels -- sometimes under the direct watch of U.S. law enfor ...

Via: Activist Post / American Thinker October 19, 2014 Stunning federal corruption case moving forward with almost no media attention By Thomas Lifson Corrupt federal prosecutors presenting false evidence in order to shake down a blameless corporation and bring in tens of millions of dollars seems like a pretty dramatic story. Especially when former prosecutors support the charge and a chief judge acts on the allegations and takes dramatic action. Yet the media silence is deafening. Eric Holder’s Justice Department is implicated in a dramatic and shocking case of alleged corruption that is so bad that the Chief Judge of the Eastern District of California has taken what can rightly be called the “nuclear option” and recused all the judges in the district from the case because they may have been defrauded by the DoJ prosecutors. So far, aside from the local paper, the Sacramento Bee, it is only Sidney Powell of the New York Observer, writing in the opinion pages of that publication that has paid atten ...
I commend and congratulate Attorney General Holder for his three decades of public service in the pursuit of equal protection under the law for all Americans. I want to thank the Attorney General for his fierce advocacy in defense of voting rights, women's rights, the rights of minorities and the disabled, and protecting the fundamental constitutional guarantees that all Americans should be assured of. His strong and swift response to my special request to engage the full force of the Justice Department in an effort to achieve justice for Michael Brown and his family in Ferguson, Missouri will never be forgotten. I am confident that his successor, along with the strong, energetic team whom the Attorney General has entrusted to conduct the two parallel federal investigations into this tragedy, will complete their work with great urgency, a devotion to the law, and a true sense of compassion.
YES! Justice Department official confirms Attorney General Eric Holder will announce his resignation later today - via
RANT: So it's Christmas in September. Corrupt, racist crony Eric Holder is resigning? I've no doubt the next "Attorney General" will be an equally vile creature, but because I value justice, I'm reveling. This opportunistic monster blatantly twisted the law for political advantage, the marks of despotic regimes, and I hope he'll be professionally humiliated when the (likely sanitized) Fast and Furious details are released. He should have been impeached and imprisoned years ago. Holder has lied under oath, abused his powers to prosecute Americans unfairly, asserted the right of the President to assassinate American citizens. Holder argued that “due process” does not mean what centuries of legal tradition have defined it to mean, but that 2001’s Authorization for Use of Military Force granted the president execution powers for anyone deemed a terrorist. “Terrorist” status, which according to Biden includes the Tea Party, can be exclusively decided by the president and his elite group of counselors ...

You’ve got a Black “Attorney General,” but how many cases of injustice to Black men and women tried in the White court system has the Justice Department come to the aid of, with a just decision being rendered after the Justice Department looked at it? How long can you build your future, hoping in this?
The Justice Department has made a multi billion dollar settlement with Bank of America and some of the money to be paid for the damages supposedly being paid by BOA is being diverted by the terms of the settlement to criminal organizations in the United States allied with the Attorney General and his Confederates and Associates. There is seemingly no limit to what these crooks in high office will steal and dare the American People to do anything about it. This is a money laundering scheme specifically subject to the RICO Act and the people responsible should be prosecuted and civilly be made to pay triple damages for their crimes under the provisions of this Act.
Several options await the Justice Department inquiry that Attorney General Eric Holder will see firsthand Wednesday in embattled Ferguson, Mo., where he will meet with law enforcement authorities investigating the police shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown.
Stop calling what is going on in Ferguson "protests." For crying out loud, rioting and looting are not protesting. It's felonious criminal activity. This might be Eric Holder's definition of "protesting," the kind of "protesting" he engaged in as a young "Barbados-American," but that's because he's a criminal. Here are 16 examples of highly disturbing behavior engaged in by Eric Holder, Attorney General of the United States of America: One - Discriminatory Hiring Practices On August 8, 2011 documents were released by the DOJ, subsequent to a court battle, which revealed the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division had been engaging in politicized hiring in the career civil service ranks. According to PJ Media, the politicized hiring practices of Holder’s DOJ are nearly unprecedented in scope. In June 2008, Holder admitted to the American Constitution Society (an organization started as a liberal counterweight to the Federalist Society) that the Justice Department was “going to be looking for people who share ...
I've got an urgent warning for gun owners in Tennessee. Your U.S. Senator, Lamar Alexander supported and voted for Barack Obama's anti-gun agenda. That's right. Last year — during the largest fight over your right to keep and bear arms in a quarter century —Lamar Alexander betrayed gun owners when it counted the most and voted to advance the President's gun control bill.1 If ever there was a time gun owners needed Lamar Alexander to stand with us, against our anti-gun enemies and their sympathizers, that was it. But I'm afraid Lamar Alexander sided with radical anti-gun Democrats like Dianne Feinstein and Harry Reid instead. And it wasn't the first time Lamar Alexander voted anti-gun. Senator Alexander also voted to confirm Barack Obama's anti-gun nominee for Attorney General, Eric Holder.2 Thanks to Lamar Alexander, Eric Holder's confirmation sailed through, leading to the Operation Fast and Furious gun running scheme and a no-holds-barred crack down on gun owners by the Justice Department. If that . ...

Eric Holder’s DOJ Denies IRS Scandal Even Happened! Dear Dixie, Gone are the days of Barack Obama promising to “get to the bottom” of the IRS scandal. Back when he learned about the scandal “from the news,” Obama promised that he would not rest until those at the IRS responsible for this blatant abuse of power were punished. Well, that was then and this is now. Instead of encouraging an investigation into the IRS targeting scandal, Obama’s Department of Justice has done exactly the opposite. They have yet to interview any of the victims of the targeting and seem to care less that the IRS is wantonly destroying evidence. All that pales in comparison to what Eric Holder’s Justice Department is doing now… A group of Conservative organizations has filed a lawsuit in Federal Court against the IRS for deliberately targeting them. Whether you agree that they deserve monetary reparations or not is up to a judge and jury to decide. But the Federal attorney actually argued in court for the lawsuit t ...

On this day in history, the Justice Department was created. The United States Department of Justice is a federal executive department established in 1870 and charged with providing the means for enforcing Federal Laws, furnishing legal counsel in federal cases, and construing the laws under which other federal executive departments act. The department is headed by the U.S. Attorney General, the chief U.S. law officer and an original cabinet member. Before the formation of the Dept. of Justice, the attorney general had represented the government in legal matters and given legal advice to the Executive Branch under the authority of the Judiciary Act of 1789, but there was no executive department to assist in carrying out the duties of the office. Because of the mounting responsibilities of the attorney general and because of the growing need for uniformity in the administration of law, a department was created. The act of 1870 also set up the office of solicitor general to represent the government in Suprem ...
The U.S. Department of Justice announced plans on June 3rd to revive a law enforcement group – The Domestic Terrorism Executive Committee – which will investigate persons the department designates as domestic terrorists. The reconstituted task force will emerge from one that was originally created by former Attorney General Janet Reno after the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. As law enforcement agencies began focusing on militia threats from abroad after the September 11, 2001 hijacked plane attacks on America, the committee was dissolved shortly afterwards. The task force under Janet Reno focused mainly on right-wing extremism while current Attorney General Eric Holder’s newly minted committee will reportedly focus on Internet radicalization. Reuters reports that committee members will be selected from the FBI, the National Security Division of the Justice Department and the Attorney General's Advisory Committee, which also includes representatives of federal prosecutors. Attorney General Holder: No Company or Individual is "Too Big to Jail" Watch the Video: the years after the financial collapse of 2008, some individuals used the phrase "too big to jail" to describe the theory that certain financial institutions-even if they engage in criminal conduct-are immune from criminal prosecution. As the Justice Department continues to pursue several important investigations, the Attorney General asserted that no individual or company, no matter how large or how profitable, is above the law. He intends to reaffirm that principle in the weeks ahead.

Holder Right There, DOJ! It was a short commute from the Justice Department to the Capitol, but a long morning for embattled Attorney General Eric Holder. The country's chief law enforcer (or ignorer, depending on your definition) sat through an uncomfortable grilling with the House Oversight Committee earlier today, in which he was called to the carpet about everything from the DOJ's pattern of lawlessness to the legality of the ObamaCare delays. Several members were particularly frustrated by the Attorney General's defiance of marriage law and his shocking advice to his state counterparts that they ignore their constitutions' definition of marriage. Rep. Steve Chabot (R-Ohio) led off, asking why, "when you are the top law enforcement official in the country, would you tell [state Attorneys General] not to defend laws constitutionally passed regardless of whether you agree with the policy?" Holder denied using the phrase "suspicious" (though this Huffington Post article clearly indicates he did). Instead ...
The Senate also voted 99-1 to confirm John P. Carlin to be assistant attorney general for the Justice Department's National Security Division. Carlin currently holds the position on an acting basis. He previously worked as special counsel and, later, as chief of staff to FBI Director Bob Mueller. He also was principal deputy and chief of staff to Lisa Monaco, the assistant to the president for Homeland Security and counterterrorism, when she was assistant attorney general. The Judiciary panel backed his nomination by voice vote on Feb. 6 and the Senate Intelligence Committee endorsed it, also by voice vote, a month later. Carlin, the acting head of the 300-employee National Security Division, would take over the unit on a permanent basis and remain a central figure in the administration's domestic surveillance programs, which have drawn fire from Republicans as well as Democrats, including several Judiciary Committee members
Hillary Hopes You've Forgotten - Have You? Hillary Clinton has been telling America that she is the most qualified candidate for president based on her "record," which she says includes her eight years in the White House as First Lady - or "co-president" - and her seven years in the Senate. Here is a reminder of what that record includes: HILLARY, As First Lady, assumed authority over Health Care Reform, a process that cost the taxpayers over $13 million. She told both Bill Bradley and Pat Moynahan, key votes were needed to pass her legislation, that she would "demonize "anyone who opposed it. But it was opposed; she couldn't even get it to a vote in a Congress controlled by her own party. (And in the next election, her party lost control of both the House and Senate.) HILLARY assumed authority over selecting a female Attorney General. Her first two recommendations (Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood) were forced to withdraw their names from consideration, and then she chose Janet Reno. Janet Reno has since been de ...
1980 - The Boston Branch of the NAACP pressed the U.S. Attorney General and Justice Department to conduct further investigations as to Civil Rights violations in the shooting death of a black teenager, Levi Hart, a 14-year-old African American youth from Roxbury, Mass., was killed in a police chase, under the leadership of Joseph Feaster. Mr. Joseph D. Feaster arrived at Northeastern University in 1967 to attend the newly-created College of Criminal Justice, graduating with a degree in Political Science in 1972. He subsequently received his Juris Doctor from the School of Law in 1975. Upon graduation, Joseph accepted a position at the National Labor Relations Board, holding a number of positions in state and local government. In 1985 he founded Feaster Enterprises which is a strategic planning, organizational development, and community outreach consulting firm. 21-year-old Yafait Tadesse of Carrollton, Georgia is an identity thief. Over the past two years, he stole at least 10 random people's identities and used them to file fake tax returns. And he had some VERY bad luck with the identities he stole. Because one of them was . . . U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. When Yafait filled out the fake tax returns, he listed "Walmart" as the employer for all of his fake identities. Obviously, the U.S. Attorney General doesn't work at Walmart. There's no indication Yafait targeted Holder . . . in fact, if he could do it all again, he probably would target anyone BUT Holder. The Justice Department thinks all of the stolen identities came from, quote, "publicly available websites." The IRS and FBI quickly caught on to him and he was arrested. This week, he was sentenced to one year in prison and a $4,000 fine.
Origins of the "Prepper" Part-2 The year 2000 came and went without a whimper or a bang. There was some consternation among the Rightwing Patriots that President Clinton would refuse to step down from office and declare himself a dictator thus causing Civil War. Like every other Patriot Movement Conspiracy Theory, this one failed to materialize. George the Second assumed office, appointing John Ashcroft as his Attorney General. Ashcroft took his duties very serious and is still known as "General" Ashcroft to his adoring fans. Though he had been a conservative-Republican with ties to various Patriot and Freedom oriented groups, Ashcroft redoubled the Governmental crackdown on the Patriot Movement. In the first two years of his administration, Ashcroft's Justice Department broke the back of the Southern Militia movement, just as Janet Reno's Justice Department had broken the Western Militia Movement. Prominent leaders were arrested in sting operations or killed in gun-battles. Weapons were confiscated an .. ...
WARNING: HEAD EXPLOSIONS JUST AHEAD 14 Feb 2014 by Burt Prelutsky Eric Holder, whose greatest ambition was clearly to be the worst Attorney General in history, helped solidify his claim on the title by insisting that the Justice Department will not allow profiling on the basis of religion or national origin. I had assumed that was already the policy of an A.G. who is so corrupt, he refuses to prosecute racial hate crimes unless the target of the investigation is a white individual or a Tea Party group. We’ve been engaged for the past 35 years in an undeclared war with Islam – undeclared by us, that is – but Mr. Holder regards it as rude if we concentrate on the religion or nationality of those sworn to murder us. Anyone who isn’t worried sick over what Barack Obama and Eric (Mini Me) Holder, are doing to our justice system just hasn’t been paying close attention. In fact, when you look at the Washington in-crowd that also includes Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, Kathleen Sebelius, John Ker ...
Sadly... reporter may have jumped the gun by reporting Holders resignation. DOJ Disputes Report That Holder Will Resign Dylan Scott – February 10, 2014, This post has been updated. The New Yorker reported that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder plans to step down this year, but the U.S. Justice Department is pushing back on that report. In a feature story for the magazine's Feb. 17 issue (sub. req.), writer Jeffrey Toobin said that Holder told him that Holder would leave his post in 2014, though he also said that he planned to remain as attorney general "well into" the year. But the Justice Department provided TPM a partial transcript of Toobin's interview with Holder, and in it, the attorney general did not explicitly say that he would resign in 2014, but that he would stay "well into 2014." “The most the Attorney General has said is that he still has a lot he wants to accomplish on issues like Criminal Justice reform, voting rights and LGBT equality," Justice spokesman Brian Fallon said in a stateme ...
Tony Perkins, Washington Update """Bolder than Holder: Cruz Demands Answers from DOJ For once, Eric Holder is conducting an investigation instead of being the subject of one. Even that's proving to be a tall task for the U.S. Attorney General, whose agency can't seem to put aside its political motives long enough to give conservatives a fair shake. And while accountability isn't exactly the motto of this Justice Department, Congress at least expected a pretense of concern over the very serious allegations of conservative targeting at the IRS. At a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday, Attorney General Holder feigned interest as he listened to members rant about the DOJ's indifference over one of the most shocking scandals to hit the IRS in modern history. It's "astonishing," said Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) of Holder's lack of urgency. Despite stacks of evidence dating back to 2010, DOJ has yet to hold anyone accountable for the high-level shakedown of Tea Party groups applying for nonprofit st ...
According to NBC News, the Justice Department will soon prohibit religious profiling in terror cases. The move, if true, would completely blind Federal Law enforcement to the threat from Islamic extremism. Already, the department has forced the FBI to bleach references to “Islam” and “jihad” from its counterterrorism training materials. It’s also made it harder for agents to infiltrate radical mosques. But Attorney General Eric Holder reportedly now wants to make it illegal for agents to even consider religion in their investigations. Why isn't this man unemployed?
From Tony Perkins' Washington Update, 01/14/2014: IRS: Taxing the Limits of Lawlessness The IRS had the "most despised government agency" title locked up -- until the Justice Department entered the running. As if the Attorney General's addiction to scandal wasn't enough, the DOJ announced that it would most likely not be pursuing criminal action against the IRS employees who targeted conservatives and pro-family groups for harassment. In an announcement that is sure to create more controversy than it clears up, the FBI explained that it hadn't found evidence of the "enemy hunting" the agency had been accused of. Officials told the Wall Street Journal that they were chalking up most of the political bias to "mismanaged bureaucracy" and confusion over the rules the IRS was enforcing. Unless agents uncover something in the next few days, the IRS will be off the hook for everything from leaking sensitive donor information to denying tax exempt status to organizations simply for their conservative leanings. "T ...
For those who don't know, John Ashcroft was the Attorney General of the United States during the Bush administration. He was the Attorney General during the time of my prosecution. While this in no way changes my own culpability or bad judgment calls I have made, don't we want a little more from our leaders? The article below is about Chris Christie: Secret No-Bid Contracts: When Christie was the top federal prosecutor in New Jersey in 2007 he awarded his former boss John Ashcroft, the one-time U.S. attorney general, a contract worth $28 million to $52 million to monitor a corporation as part of an out-of-court settlement, the New York Times reported in a page-one story. The 2007 deal involved no public notice and no bidding, as well as $750,000 a month in pay for Ashcroft and two other executives. The same year Christie awarded two similar monitoring contracts to two other former Justice Department colleagues from the Bush administration and a former Republican New Jersey State Attorney General. I share You share. Doesn't ANYONE know WHO could have the needed authority to CHARGE AND TRY him for all these CRIMES, we all KNOW he is guilty of?? There has to be some 'entity', other than, the Justice Department, Attorney General, Eric Holder, who, we know WILL NEVER DO HIS DUTY but, THERE MUST BE 'SOMEONE' WHO CAN and WILL DO SO? PASS THIS ALONG EVERYONE NEEDS TO HELP FIND THE ONE!!!
Still with the US, we're getting to the fakery of today. Before we do, let's note US political prisoner Lynne Stewart remains behind bars. For the 'crime' of issuing a press release, she was eventually tossed in prison. The 'crime' happened on Attorney General Janet Reno's watch. Reno has her detractors who think she was far too tough as Attorney General. She also has her supporters who see her as a moderate. No one saw her as 'soft.' Reno had her Justice Department review what happened. There was no talk of a trial because there was no crime. No law was broken. The Justice Department imposes guidelines -- not written by Congress, so not laws -- on attorneys. Lynne was made to review the guidelines and told not to break it again. That was her 'punishment' under Janet Reno. Bully Boy Bush comes into office and the already decided incident becomes a way for Attorney General John Ashcroft to try to build a name for himself. He goes on David Letterman's show to announce, after 9-11, that they' ...
Vậy là kinh doanh bên Mỹ khó quá. Chú Nguyen Thu ơi, chú vui lòng chia sẻ về đề tài này ạ. WASHINGTON (AP) - JPMorgan Chase has agreed to pay $5.1 billion to resolve claims that it misled Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac about risky home loans and mortgage securities it sold them before the housing market collapsed. The Federal Housing Finance Agency, which oversees Fannie and Freddie, announced the settlement Friday with JPMorgan, the largest U.S. bank. A broader deal with the Justice Department is still being negotiated. JPMorgan sold around $33 billion in mortgage securities to Fannie and Freddie between 2005 and 2007, according to the agency. That was the second-most sold to Fannie and Freddie ahead of the crisis, behind only Bank of America Corp. The securities soured after the housing bubble burst in 2007, losing billions in value. Fannie and Freddie were rescued in a taxpayer bailout in 2008 as they sank under the weight of mortgage losses. In a statement Friday, JPMorgan called th ...
The Wall Street Journal: "The Supreme Court ruled in June that a section of the 1965 Voting Rights Act is no longer justified due to racial progress, but the U.S. Attorney General has launched a campaign to undo the decision state-by-state. ... Mr. Holder wants to haul North Carolina and Texas back into long-term federal supervision through a back door. Under Section 3 of the Act, states can be required to get federal preclearance if a court finds that the state has intentionally discriminated against minorities in its voting laws. That's a high legal bar that the Justice Department will find hard to prove, especially since many of the two states' voter ID provisions are widespread in other states. ... All the evidence suggests that Mr. Holder's real motive here is political. Portraying voter ID laws as racist helped to drive Democratic voter turnout among minorities in 2012, and the White House wants a repeat in 2014. Never mind if the suits eventually fail in court. The goal is to elect more Democrats i ...
Eric Holder made a statement this morning that he would take a cut in his pay during a government shutdown. He wasn't specific about the proportion relative to the rest of the populace's injury, but his was the only voice in Washington declaring that the pain must be shared by those responsible for precipitating it. THE ONLY VOICE. NO-ONE ELSE. NO-ONE. He is Attorney General, the head of the Justice Department. *** right. At least one person there who takes his office literally.
National Security / Foreign Relations Division Week in Review Week ending 9/27/2013 1. DOD Taking Prudent Steps in Face of Government Shutdown The Defense Department is taking prudent steps to plan for a possible government shutdown Oct. 1, Deputy Secretary of Defense Ash Carter said in a memo. The Deputy Secretary believes there is still time for Congress to enact legislation to avoid a shutdown. “The administration is willing to work with Congress to enact a short-term continuing resolution to fund critical government operations and allow Congress the time to complete the full year 2014 appropriations,” he said. Still the threat of a shutdown remains and department leaders must prepare in case a lapse in appropriations occurs. If a funding lapse occurs it will affect the entire government. this past Independence Day, i took a pledge to Hillsdale College to read the Declaration Of Independence to my family & friends at our gathering. what struck me most was how some of the grievances the colonists had with King George III are applicable today with our own federal government, but also, specifically with the 0bama administration. a sample: "He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good." sounds like Attorney General Eric Holder's Justice Department refusing to enforce the laws which he finds disagreeable. "He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance." sounds like 0bamacare, with all of its new offices, agencies, bureaucracies, & the 16,000 new IRS agents sent out "harass" the non-compliant. "For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments..." sounds like 0bama's 2008 stump speeches wherein he prom ...
I heard President Obama say on the news tonight that if the American public knew what he knew about the NSA we would all agree to allow the info to be collected. Well, he didn't know anything about Benghazi, nor the IRS targeting political opponents, nor did he know anything about the Justice Department spying on reporters, nor did he know anything about Fast and Furious---seems to me like he doesnt have a clue what's going even though the Sec of State, Treasury Dept and the Attorney General are directly under the Executive Branch!! My trust of this administration is so low I don't think it even registers.
"Mr. Speaker, the presidents Justice Department sold weapons to narco terrorists south of our border who killed one of our finest. The presidents State Department lied about Benghazi with false information provided by the White House. The presidents Attorney General authorized spying on a Fox News journalist and his family for reporting on a North Korea nuclear test. The presidents Justice Dept confiscated phone records of the Associate Press because they reported on a thwarted terrorist attack. The presidents Treasury Department uses the IRS to target political opposition. The presidents Health and Human Services Secretary pressures the insurance companies she is supposed to regulate to promote Obamacare, which is the same law she uses to force citizens to pay for abortion inducing drugs against their religious liberties. Mr Speaker, the presidents dishonesty, incompetence, vengefulness and lack of moral compass lead many to suggest that he is not fit to lead. The only problem is that his Vice President ...
HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF...HOLD Eric Holder CRIMINALLY ACCOUNTABLE !!! Eric Holder CHANNELS WATERGATE Attorney General John Mitchell. Refresh your memory as to WHY John Mitchell resigned in disgrace and went to PRISON. It's so similar, it's scary: "Mr. Mitchell, the nation's only Attorney General to be imprisoned, was the last of 25 Watergate defendants to go to prison, serving 19 months for conspiracy, obstruction of justice and lying under oath. He left prison in 1979 and was disbarred. The scandal forced President Nixon to resign in 1974. When he took over the Justice Department in 1969, Mr. Mitchell said, ''I am first and foremost a law-enforcement officer.'' Almost immediately, he embarked on a series of activities that the courts would later hold to be in violation of the Constitution. At first, they were directed chiefly against foes of the Vietnam War and black militants, then against officials and journalists suspected of leaking damaging information, finally against politicians from George Walla ...

OK last one for the day. I am in shock. The leadership of ends justify the means has rocked the US government (Bomber Bill Ayers's buddy). I thought it was bad when the Justice Department dropped charges against the black panthers and intimidation at the polls, I was further dismayed with fast and furious which the President said Mexico gun crimes was due to US guns in Mexico (his?), Attorney General condoning drone strikes on US citizens in the US, then the needless death of an American Ambassador in Benghazi (which Obama lied about in the Presidential Debate and many more times), grandstanding with the families of Newtown massacre to destroy my 2nd Amendment rights, information before Boston Massacre was not shared, wiretaps on the Associated Press and now the IRS providing data illegally to liberal groups which has been know for over a year. Department of Justice Office of Public Affairs FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Thursday, January 10, 2013 Justice Department Obtains Comprehensive Agreement to Resolve Long Standing Litigation Regarding the Rights of People with Developmental Disabilities Today, the Justice Department announced that it filed in federal court yesterday afternoon a comprehensive agreement that will resolve long running litigation with the state of Tennessee originally concerning conditions of care at the former Arlington Developmental Center (ADC). On Jan. 15, 2013, the U.S. District Court in Memphis, Tenn., will conduct a hearing to determine whether to approve the agreement. Individuals affected by the agreement are invited to attend the hearing and provide comment to the Court. The White House, the Justice Department and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) are launching an all out effort to steal the election from the American People. The pattern actually started shortly after Obama was sworn in and Eric Holder was appointed as the Attorney General. He declined to prosecute the members of the New Black Panther party who had openly carried weapons and intimidated white voters at a polling place in Philadelphia in 2008. Then, prior to the 2010 elections the Justice Department told many State Governments that they did not have to comply with the Federal Law that required them to send absentee ballots to military personnel within a certain time period. The law was designed to make sure that our people overseas had time to file their ballots and have them counted. The actions of the DOJ were specifically designed to undercut the intent of the law and many members of the military did not have their votes counted. In fact, according to the Army Times magazine as many as 30% of the ...

Was just watching the NBC Nightly News that I recorded while we were out - very interesting story on the CIA issue and David Petreus (sp) - the Attorney General said that they don't "share" information during investigations between the Justice Department, FBI, and CIA. I find that interesting.wasn't that the very issue brought to light after the 9/11/01 attacks?? Weren't there going to be some changes regarding the different agencies sharing information gathered by one another during investigations so that nothing like 9/11 would ever happen again because if they had, then 9/11 may never have happened?? I'm just a bit confused by the Attorney General's comment."bleeping" ***
IT IS TIME TO FIRE Eric Holder! Eric Holder's misdeeds in the Justice Department, particularly involving the Fast and Furious scandal, have reached a Fever Pitch, leading Congress to hold the Attorney General in contempt. So what's next for Holder? Will he finally be removed from his position, or will his connections to the Obama Administration allow him to keep his job?
From Family Research Council Share with Friends | | November 01, 2012 | Permalink I Know What You Deed Last Summer... If the Justice Department keeps ignoring its job, Eric Holder could be the only Attorney General to leave office as the subject of more investigations than he's headed up. The scandal-ridden Holder, who was formally censured by Congress in June, now faces new allegations. This time, reporters are tagging America 's chief law enforcer with another cover-up: ties to a corrupt abortion doctor, who was indicted last year for more than $380,000 in Medicaid fraud. According to records, Dr. Tyrone Malloy, who was twice reprimanded for malpractice, operated his Georgia clinic out of a building that Holder's wife (an OB/GYN) and sister-in-law co-own. Reporters for Watchdog.org followed the paper trail to a family trust, where the Holders transferred ownership after President Obama's inauguration. Both Sharon Malone Holder and Margie Malone Tuckson, Holder's sister-in-law, have tried to cover their ...

It's time for Attorney General Holder to step aside. He's misled Congress, and entirely botched the investigation of the Operation Fast and Furious debacle -- yet he still leads our nation's Justice Department. It's just another example of the Obama Administration's transparent hypocrisy that despite the tragic and very human toll of this scandal, Attorney General Holder refuses to resign -- and President Obama refuses to remove him. It's up to the American People to replace both of them on November 6. Let's restore justice to the Justice Department. Thank you, Paul Ryan

The Obama Administration appointee at the center of the debate is Tony West, a longtime Justice Department lawyer who received national attention for his aggressive defense of John Walker Lindh, the so-called American Taliban who is currently serving 20-years in prison for colluding with al Qaeda in Afghanistan and taking up arms against U.S. troops. Late last month, President Obama appointed West as the DOJ’s acting associate attorney general, a posting that does not require Senate confirmation. He formally began the job on Monday.

Offshore Accounts 52,000 Had Secret UBS Accounts William P. Just a day after UBS (nyse: UBS - news - people ) agreed to pay $780 million to avoid prosecution in the U.S. on tax charges, the U.S. Department of Justice filed suit in a Florida federal court seeking enforcement of a 2008 Internal Revenue Service "John Doe" summons for the names of all Americans with "undisclosed" accounts at UBS. The new lawsuit seems at odds with gushing U.S. Justice Department statements just a day earlier, which said it had finally breached the famed Swiss bank secrecy laws, with approval from Swiss banking officials to "immediately provide" names and account information. In court papers, the government raised its estimate of how many Americans were involved from 19,000 to 52,000--a stunn ...

The program's activities involve data mining of a large database of the communications of American citizens, including e-mail communications, phone conversations, financial transactions, and Internet activity. There were internal disputes within the Justice Department about the legality of the program, because data is collected for large numbers of people, not just the subjects of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants. In March 2004, the Justice Department under Attorney General John Ashcroft ruled that the program was illegal. The day after the ruling, Ashcroft became critically ill with acute pancreatitis. President Bush sent White House counsel Alberto Gon ...

Despite the SEIU/Organizing for America/White House organization and support of the Occupy Movement against capitalism, the free enterprise system, and the American constitutional republic, Obama and his Attorney General have refused to follow the law and prosecute their capitalist buddy and campaign fundraiser/supporter, Democrat Jon Corzine, of Goldman Sachs. Corzine, in his testimony before a Congressional Oversight Committee, refused to tell the Committee where all the millions of dollars missing from Goldman Sachs went, leaving their depositors and investors out in the cold. Under the George W. Bush USDOJ, Corzine and Goldman Sachs would have already been fully investigated and held accountable. Under this lawless administration and Justice Department, Corzine has been allowed to skate.

Alright I'm going to apologize for posting this before you even read it. But I can't keep from saying it, so here you go. I predict that within days if not hours we will hear the “black helicopters” flying overhead and the conspiracy theorists will come forward with their claim that the tragic theater attack in Aurora Co is Barack Obama’s fault. They will claim that Obama’s Justice Department and the ATF put in play a convoluted plan that led to the ambush, because they want to have public outrage raised to a level that will create an atmosphere where the 2nd Amendment will be in play. This is the story they used in their trumped up investigation of the Attorney General which led to his “contempt of congress” charge in the Fast and Furious Scandal. A couple of wing nut congressmen and the NRA took a situation where the ATF had it’s hands tied by AZ law and turned it into a 2nd amendment conspiracy using public outrage to turn the tide for gun control. So I expect to hear Rush, Beck, or Drudg ...

The U.S. Justice Department said Friday it will not prosecute or investigate Attorney General Eric Holder following the House vote holding him in contempt.
Justice Department rules U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder won't be prosecuted for contempt of Congress via
Holder but Not Wiser The President's health care takeover may have been vindicated, but his Attorney General wasn't so lucky. In all of American history, no sitting Cabinet member has been held in contempt of Congress. That all changed yesterday, when the House held an unprecedented vote on the nation's top law enforcement officer, Attorney General Eric Holder. After months of investigating the Justice Department's "Fast and Furious" gun-running scheme, which resulted in the death of two government agents, Holder still refuses to cooperate. Members--led by Oversight Committee Chair Darrell Issa (R-Calif.)--finally decided they'd had enough. When the White House used "Executive Privilege" to dodge a subpoena for documents, Republicans had no choice but to single out Holder for formal condemnation. GOP leaders held two votes of contempt, both of which were joined by a surprising number of Democrats. The second vote was a civil citation, which passed 259-95--with 21 Democrats voting yes. Unlike the criminal ...

I could be wrong but if you read through this document from the ATF's website from 2009, it sure does verify that stimulus money was made available by Justice Dept. to ATF (~$15 million) for use in Operation Gunrunner and that Eric Holder, Janet Napolitano, the State Department and many other top officials in the Justice Department and ATF were well aware of Operation Gunrunner and discussed ways to make the program more effective...Maybe that's why they don't want all the emails released..everybody at the top of his administration had thier hand in this debacle at some point..Page 13 has some interesting reading... Let me begin by emphasizing the priority that this issue commands at the highest level of the Department’s leadership, including the Attorney General himself. On April 2, U.S. Attorney General Holder and Janet Napolitano from ...
Every defendant currently being prosecuted by the Justice Department should tell them to kiss it. If the Attorney General can refuse to respond to a legitimate subpoena and can tell the Congress take our word for it and if you don't we will cooperate no further, then they have no right to prosecute anything. Eric Holder should have justice done upon him.
Some have asked about my trip last week to the White House for a meeting on Fatherhood. Rather than responding individually, I will post this account of the meeting. Well, as some of you know, a Justice Department representative came to our regional fatherhood conference a couple of weeks ago here in Fort Worth. He honored five individuals who have made a difference in promoting responsible fathering. I was honored to be one of the “Certificate of Recognition” from the White House for my work as Chairman of the Fatherhood Coalition of Tarrant County. Last week we received an invitation to attend a meeting at the White House executive office building on “Father’s Day Champions of Change”. The meeting highlighted national and local efforts to promote responsible fatherhood. Some of the attendees who took part in the meeting were the Secretary of Education, the Attorney General, the Secretary of HUD, and the Secretary of Health and Human Services. We also met the military “Father of the Y ...
It seems like the month of June 2012 is one of the worst for the Obama Administration and it's Justice Department. First, the Justice Department fails to convict former U.S. Senator John Edwards of Campaign Finance Fraud, then they fail to convict Baseball Legend Roger Clemens on lying to a Congressional Committee, then one of his nominees for a crucial Diplomatic Post withdraws his nomination due to an extramarital affair with a Wall Street Journal reporter. My question is what's next? Is this a sign that the Administration is no more? His Justice Department has failed to convict two of the major cases it has had, and his Attorney General is at risk of being in Contempt of Congress. I think the icing on the cake will be SCOTUS's decision on "Obamacare" or otherwise known of "The Patient Affordable Care Act of 2010". This stuff matters ladies and gentlemen. It goes to show how much the Administration is focusing on all aspects of governance. Now I'm not saying The President is finished, but to me it goes ...

The only reason that Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) wants the Attorney General, Eric Holder to resign is to try and stop the Justice Department's halting of Gov. Scott of Florida's voter purge. Republicans are using every single underhanded tactic to try in win the the election, since clearly the party has no faith in Romney's "abilities." Everything Republicans in Congress or State Government do is all to constrict the Democratic vote for the 2012 election.

This is our head of the DOJ Attorney General Eric Holder: Tim Geithner can be sure he won’t be hounded about his tax-dodging by his colleague Eric Holder, US Attorney General. Judicial Watch strongly opposed Holder because of his terrible ethics record, which includes: obstructing an FBI investigation of the theft of nuclear secrets from Los Alamos Nuclear Laboratory; rejecting multiple requests for an independent counsel to investigate alleged fundraising abuses by then-Vice President Al Gore in the Clinton White House; undermining the criminal investigation of President Clinton by Kenneth Starr in the midst of the Lewinsky investigation; and planning the violent raid to seize then-six-year-old Elian Gonzalez at gunpoint in order to return him to Castro’s Cuba. Moreover, there is his soft record on terrorism. Holder bypassed Justice Department procedures to push through Bill Clinton’s scandalous presidential pardons and commutations, including for 16 members of FALN, a violent Puerto Rican terroris ...
