Joseph Parker (born 9 January 1992) is a New Zealand professional heavyweight boxer. Parker was an accomplished amateur boxer expected to be a contender for a gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics however he lost narrowly in two qualifying tournaments. Shane Mountain Warrior Cameron (born 17 October 1977 in Tiniroto, New Zealand) is a former 2002 Commonwealth Games bronze medal winner currently competing in the cruiserweight division. /5

NEWS: Joseph Parker's next opponent is "The Beast" Brian Minto, the veteran American who ended the career of fellow Kiwi heavyweight Shane Cameron. The fight will be in Auckland on July 5, the next of three fights that Parker's promoters Duco Events have planned for the 22-year-old this year. Originally, it wanted to match Parker against Cameron but that all changed last December when Minto stunned Cameron with a seventh-round knockout to win the vacant WBO Oriental title in Auckland. Minto will put that belt on the line and Parker will put up the WBA Pan-Asia belt he won on Sunday. It's a fight that has the potential to keep Parker climbing the rankings.
