Hi All, a quick update on the current situation with Emma - again thank you all for your messages and of course your prayers. Bless you all - you are all very special and have kept us going. We had another meeting with Emma's consultant yesterday and Emma has said to her that she doesn't want any more tests etc and wants to come home to spend her final time at home. She has lost more weight and is constantly feeling weaker and weaker. The consultant has said on a number of occasions that all the tests now are really for information only and even if they find something they will probably not be able to solve it (only name it). She currently weighs 25.85Kg. We think she will be home in the next 2 weeks or so. Please do keep her in your prayers. I think the next few months are going to be very difficult indeed for her as things get worse. Also please keep believing in miracle. Blessings Mark

INSANITY DAY 7!.So it was this time last week that I did my first Insanity fitness test. It feels like ages ago! So today's workout was "Cardio Power and Resistance" - hard hard HARD! Its just crazy that I'm dead after the WARM UP! My legs seem to be getting tired quickly! The other day I was running for the bus and I must've had delusions of grandeur because I thought I was running like Usain Bolt only to realise that I was doing a slow jog in the middle of the road! My legs felt like LEAD! So I weighed myself today only to find that the number on the scale had increased. I guess this is what everyone was saying about gaining in the first couple of weeks. I've actually lost inches from both my waist and hips which is interesting! So onwards I go! To be honest, the issue for me now is not the inches and pounds etc - that's part of it of course! Brothers wedding in May! - But most of all I just want to complete the CHALLENGE!!! Discipline and no SLACKING! 53 days to go!!! Feeling good!

Our youngest son, Jonathan, was recently injured while working in Las Vegas on an off-Broadway show. He is doing better now, but will probably have 6-8 wks of recovery. His beautiful wife, Lara, is with him now ( she flew in from Australia where she is working for a theater company for several months). I know that immediately picked up his spirits! Yesterday is the first time he sounded like my Jonathan...teasing me like he normally does. We are so thankful for all the prayers on his behalf. Please continue to pray that his rehab goes well.
