"He cannot help himself, it is an addiction he has and he thinks that building up government and expanding programs is his mandate. And no matter what he does, it is going to be designed around raising taxes," former Gov. John Sununu (R-NH) said on the Wednesday broadcast of "Hannity." "The trage...

MORE POLITICAL SATIRE BY DAVID HOROWITZ….None of these things really happened! With less than two weeks to go until Election Day, there is a deep divide among Republican leaders over whether to emphasize misogyny or racism as the campaign’s closing theme…..In one camp is the Indiana Senate candidate Richard Mourdock, who says that his view that God is sometimes O.K. with rape is “gaining real traction with a key demographic: men who don’t like women very much.”….“I can’t tell you how many misogynists have come up to me at my rallies and said, ‘Thank you for saying what you said,’ ” he told reporters today. “I think they’re like, finally, someone’s taking a more nuanced position on rape.”…But in the other camp is the former New Hampshire governor John Sununu, who worries that the Republican Party’s emphasis on misogyny is threatening to drown out its “winning message of racism.”.“I understand the appeal of Mourdock’s anti-woman theme, but I worry that it’s goi ...

Wait. John Sununu is lecturing US on ethics?
Amused by NH reference in 1st act but did it have to be John Sununu?
So, I'm watching recorded footage of the inaugural and I say, "It sounds like what I imagine a Justin Bieber concert must sound like." Maybe even Beatles in Shea. Anyway, we're watching a recording of Martin Bashir's show so we start thinking of our favorite moments on his show. Alex thought the moment after a clip of Charles Krauthammer when Martin apologized if any small children had been in the room. I said it was when he referred to John Sununu as a "vat of poison." That's good writing. The man is clearly a vat of something. Anyway, I googled "Martin Bashir John Sununu" and found this...
John E. Sununu criticizes MIT, his alma mater, over Aaron Swartz suicide: "A crisis of values."
When I hear republicans.White folks... talk of succession from the union it makes me think. Whenever minorities speak in opposition to the country and governance, we're told to go back to wherever we came from. To play devils advocate, if you don't like our president or the direction of the country, BOUNCE! Go back to Europe!
Even John Sununu Jr. is disgusted with MIT and Carmen Ortiz.
Does Colin Powell have a "dark vein of intolerance" for Jewish people?  By his own standards, such as they are, when defaming John Sununu and Sarah Palin, it would seem he does.   Partial transcript from Meet the Press, Sunday, January 13, 2013 DAVID GREGORY: Well, you brought-- you brought up Israel. He-- [Hagel] referred to a Jewish lobby saying it intimidates a lot of people on Capitol Hill. What kind of thinking does that reflect? Can you understand pro-Israel senators being concerned by that comment? GEN. POWELL: They shouldn’t be that concerned. That term slips out from time to time. There was an article this week that the Israeli newspaper Haaretz has occasionally used the same thing. And so, Chuck should have said Israeli lobby, not Jewish lobby and perhaps he needs to write on a blackboard a hundred times it is the Israeli lobby. But there is an Israeli lobby. There are people who are very supportive of the State of Israel. I am very supportive of the State of Israel. So is Senator Hagel and ...
Conservatives yearn for more conservative minorities. Colin Powell said Sarah Palin & John Sununu are racists. "Shuck and Jive=racist. "Obama is lazy"=racist. Colin Powell is NOT a Republican. Sorry this ticks me off. There may be a racist conservative somewhere. I don't know any. I yearn for the day conservatives connect with Blacks and Hispanics. I'm willing to compromise on immigration policy to reach Latinos. Conservatives fully understand the problems associated with being an older White male bastion. Tired of the race card.
“A Dark Vein of Intolerance” On “Meet the Press”, Retired General Colin Powell made some wide ranging remarks including some about the Republican Party and how some within it “look down on minorities” and how it is tolerated by Party leaders. He provided examples of language used by Sarah Palin and John Sununu. He discussed the Party’s failure to acknowledge the changing demographic in the country and discussed the need for a thorough self-assessment to make required changes before finding themselves perpetually unable to win Presidential elections. I waited to hear the discussions on the Fox News talk shows and while disappointed, I was not surprised with the result. They first attacked the messenger, “How could Gen. Powell say these things after the Republican Party has done so much for him?” “He’s not really a Republican anyway” and it’s part of a plan to deflect from GOP criticisms of lack of diversity in the incomplete Obama cabinet. They pointed to Hispanic Governors and th ...

I keep seeing graphics and posts comparing John Sununu to Archie Bunker, and I have to say that I don't think this comparison is valid. One is a hateful, ignorant old bigot who terrorizes everyone he meets with whacked-out archaic theories about white male superiority and thinks every concern for people or the environment is a liberal plot. The other is Archie Bunker.
If Republicans are trying to shy away from the notion that America is divided between productive capitalists and dependent moochers, they forgot to tell John Sununu. Top Romney campaign surrogate John Sununu has crawled back under his racist rock, right? Haven't heard from him since the Romney loss.
As long as Donald Trump, John Sununu, Ruh Limbaugh & the rest of the far right clowns & *** speak for the GOP they will continue to lose.
Lebanese Cuban Thus John Sununu -. Could never have said that better. I think I love you :)
The GOP is DOOMED if their spokesman in chief is the ignorant and racist Lebanese Cuban thug John Sununu

What happened to Republican voice John Sununu? He had a lot of stupid stuff to say about President Obama before the election. Interesting how all republicans are now distancing them selves from Romney.
Dear Red States: We're ticked off at your attitudes and politics, and we decided we're leaving. We in New York intend to form our own country, and we're taking the other Blue States with us. In case you aren't aware that includes California, Colorado ,Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and the rest of the Northeast. We believe this split will be beneficial to the nation and especially to the people of the new country of The Enlightened States of America (E.S.A). To sum up briefly: You get Texas, Oklahoma, West Virginia and all the slave states. We get stem cell research and the best beaches. We get Andrew Cuomo and Elizabeth Warren. You get Todd Akin and John Sununu, We get Intel and Microsoft. You get WorldCom. We get Harvard. You get Ole' Miss. We get 85 percent of America's venture capital and entrepreneurs. Republicans are still bitter about the election and are trying to figure out what happen. Romney just stated on Joe Scarborough that Obama gave gifts to Hispanics and African-Americans. Both Romney and Ryan lost their home towns..Go figure! I also read yesterday that there were a very large turnout in the urbans areas all over ranging around 98-99 percent from African-Americans for Obama...Karl Rove, John Sununu, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and all you conservative pundits go eat your heart out!
Well now. We have tens of thousands of disgruntled citizens signing a White House website “petition” to secede from the Union. ? In the name of the prison warden in the movie Cool Hand Luke: “I think what we have here is a failure to communicate.” OR could it be that what we have here is a list of volunteers for Newt Gingrich’s Moon Colony? Why, ya know, it just could be a perfect solution. The Newster can be their academic advisor and take Joe Walsh, Adam West, Todd Aikin, Richard Murdoch, Sarah Palin, John Sununu and a few other ex-politicians as his council of advising elders for governance. Maybe Arizona Governor Jan Brewer will volunteer to be their start-up President since she is such a charismatic figure. Maybe Arizona Sheriff Joe can be their Attorney General; clearly he knows the intentions of the law. With the Newster’s genius and smooth ability to infuse his ideas into the public with such subtle persuasion there is little doubt they will be able to establish a harmonious sys ...
Mitt Romney failing to energize the base proved Sarah Palin right and John Sununu wrong.
Romney advisor says Colin Powell only supports Obama because he is black... as polls show this could be the most racially polarised election ever John Sununu...
This is from MSNBC -- what does any(everyone think of this? "My party is full of racists," said Colin Powell's former chief of staff on MSNBC last night. Lawrence Wilkerson was responding to a claim that Powell only endorsed the president because both men are black, made by Romney campaign surrogate John Sununu. Wilkerson said that the anger directed at Obama from "a considerable portion" of the GOP has "nothing to do with his competence as commander-in-chief and president, and everything to do with the color of his skin." He then branded that attitude "despicable." [Source]

To paraphrase John Sununu, John Boehner may or may not make a lousy talk radio host and Laura Ingraham would be a TERRIBLE House Speaker.

Three faces I really wanna see today on TV; Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and their parrot John Sununu
Too many Republicans embrace this: different = bad. If you are different from me -- in skin color, ethnicity, religion, culture -- then you are probably a taker & not a maker, in other words less worthy. Quite simply, there is a deep strain of racism in the Republican Party. It traces back at least as far as Nixon's Southern Strategy, which used race-baiting to lure disaffected working-class whites away from traditional Democratic voting habits. Later, Reagan struck a similar deal with intolerant evangelicals. These 2 strains make up the source of the current Republican base. It is the DNA of the "birther" ugliness and the take back my country xenophobia. And you can't dismiss it as a fringe phenomenon. John Sununu is the GOP establishment, and he publicly accused Colin Powell of endorsing Obama because of his race. The Republican Party of Nelson Rockefeller or Everett Dirksen could not even have imagined saying something like that, but that party is dead and gone. The Republicans' failure to connect with ...
Why the Republicans lost - Disrespect from: New Ginrich, Rush Limbaugh, John Sununu, Mitt Romney, the birthers, Donald Trump, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilley, etc. We don't vote for people who don't respect us. All of us are not on food stamps, we believe the president was born in Hawaii, we don't want an electronic fence, etc. So, until we get the proper respect, we will not vote for your party; then all of you along with Carl Rove, can go on FOX News and cry sour grapes while we revel in victory.
One National Leader Posted on November 8, 2012 2 Votes Speaker of the House John Boehner didn’t give the President the courtesy of a congratulatory call; instead he issued a line in the sand and an implied threat. Bipartisan–or bully? In his party, he is the defender of the orthodox faith: taxes are bad and special interests come before the people’s will. President Obama received 9 million fewer votes on Tuesday than he did 4 years ago. Even with a 13% shrinkage in his totals he only lost 2 states he carried in 2008, Indiana and North Carolina. The GOP lost more than 2 million votes from 2008 despite their $2 billion investment. Why didn’t it pay off? Because of people like Boehner, the Party’s presidential nominee, Mitt Romney, his chair, John Sununu, and pundit Newt Gingrich, the GOP is a shrinking collection of districts and states at odds with the agenda America wants to see for the nation, at home and abroad. If you see yourself as angry, the GOP platform and style appeals to you and is the ...

"Racial carnival barking – Sorry, Donald Trump, John Sununu, Ann Coulter, Sarah “shuck and jive” Palin, Rush Limbaugh, The Daily Caller, Sean Hannity and friends. It didn’t work. The bottom of the barrel appeal to older white voters was a sad turn for the GOP. And while the “lazy welfare queens,” “voter fraud,” Obama derangement formula works well on right wing talk radio, it makes no sense to use it in a presidential year, when minority voters tend to show up to vote in large numbers, unlike midterm elections a la 2010."
“Where's John Sununu? He's setting up the Romney transition WH Team. No, he's in hiding w/ Karl Rove.

I need John Sununu to explain this Bloomberg endorsement to me.
Here is my view on why Gov. Romney lost: Facts won & Hate lost. Let me prove this. Gov. Romney lost because of (Not in the order of "Importance") Jim DeMint, Mitch McConnell, Joe Walsh,Sarah Palin, Mr. 9/9/9, Jan Brewer, Eric Cantor, John Boehner, Michelle Bachman, Donald Trump, Newt Gingrich, Steve King, John Sununu, Allen West, Carl Rowe, Paul Ryan, Akers, Grover Norquist. Not these people BUT WHAT THEY SAID ABOUT THE PRESIDENT OF THE United States OF AMERICA AND THE OFFICE HE HOLDS. They have called him Un-American, Socialist, doubting his religion, doubting his birth certificate and these things are NOT even the worst names that they called our President trying to INSULT the President. You can never win people's votes with HATE and one liners. You need vision, you need a plan. you need compassion and understanding. Yes, this is why Gov. Romney lost. He is a descent man and I wish him all the best. Atul Vora
Did you know that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan voted for Obama/Biden yesterday? They knew that they did not have the momentum that they were talking about. Mitt Romney and the Koch brothers paid CNN and fox News to make the poll numbers look good to play with people's mind like they had their game togheter. Did you also know that John Sununu voted for Donald Trump and Chris Christie voted for Barack Obama. America one more thing that I am asking of you is to make sure that our leaders work the president for our cause and the well being of us. America I am giving you a list of republicans that are blocks on the road that been prevented Obama from moving the country forward. Their names are: Michelle Bachman. John Boehner, Mitch McCornell, Paul Ryan and there more of them specially the Tea Party poison Republicans that gonna need to go with these guys should they prevent any progress. Thank you Massachussetts for firing the Tea Party Poison Scott Brown!
The racial ignorance of John Sununu insulting Gen Colin Powell saying his endorsement of Obama was race-based ticked many people off.
In closing: I have 2 maybe 3 that voted for Mitt Romney on my page. They choose not to make their pages political as I did. 2 of the 3 probably aren't aware of what true conservatism actually is. The possible 3rd, smart lady. True conservatives should be upset at their party for putting up Mitt. His ideas or policies did not exactly line up at times with conservative beliefs. Too many skeletons and wayward beliefs behind closed doors and out of touch sentiments. The racist rhetoric that comes out of the mouths of party leaders such as Newt Gingrich, John Sununu and the like should upset anyone in 2012. Conservative pundits like Rush and Ann Coulter did nothing to expand the base only further split it from the rest of us. There isn't any leadership in that party to stop the racism, war mongering, angry men (and Michelle Buchamon). Mitch McConell, wow. Be upset about your conservative leadership. Understand that the electorate is not only made up of white males. Now to move forward, I continue to pray for ...
I would like to personally thank, Rush Limbaugh, Donald Trump, Karl Rove, John Sununu, Sarah Palin, Todd Akin, Richard Murdock, and of course all of the tea party members for re electing President Obama. Without all of your help this victory would not have been possible.

A former chief of staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell charged the Republican Party with racism after remarks in which John Sununu, a surrogate for Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign, suggested race was a factor in Powell’s endorsement of President Obama. - 2012/10/27
To those "Christians" who say that they're not voting for President Obama because their religious beliefs won't allow them to vote for someone who favors abortion and same-sex marriage, and are thus voting for Mitt Romney, let me put it plainly. And If you get offended, TOUGH. I'll ask God to help you forgive me on Wednesday morning. Your "religious" beliefs won't allow you to vote for Obama for the reasons stated above. Fine, but what would the bible say about Romney's stance on not caring about 47% of the country? Which people did Jesus say that he DIDN'T love again? I'll wait for you to find that page. What would it say about the undercover racist crap and OVER THE TOP racist crap spewed by Romney mouthpieces, Newt Gingrich, Donald Trump, John Sununu, Sean Hannitty, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin and Glen Beck? How are you reconciling the poison that these people have been spouting about not only the President, but the people who support him? What does the Bible say about the fact t ...
Granted, I may be a little obsessive with this. I watch ALL the news channels, read anything I can find online. I subscribe to National Review, Time magazine, and The As republic. Does anyone know where George Bush is? (Cayman Islands), *** Cheney? John Sununu?, and Sarah Palin? They have disappeared from view, and if you don't know why, you better figure it out. These are what the republicans are all about, and if you love our country, vote Obama. If you miss Cheney, vote Obama, if you support Sarah Palin, vote Obama. In other words, vote Obama.
Elaine Chao, Cindy and Senator John McCain, Senator Lindsay Graham and Senator Kelly Ayotte, introduced by former Gov. John Sununu gave a formidable vote of confidence and support for the next President, Mitt Romney and VP Paul Ryan. There is so much wrong with this country from the last 4yrs, doubling the debt, weakening job creation, Benghazi, the list goes on. And the worst is the degrading of our Military. Our Military keeps us strong. Any of you who have been there know this and must feel insulted at Obama's treatment toward you and your fellow soldiers..

I hear Meatloaf endorsed Mitt Romney today. I'm waiting to hear John Sununu declare on Fox that it was probably because, well just look at him ... Meatloaf is white, and so it's only natural that he's going to endorse one of his own kind.
Can we please stop being serious about the GOP R&R disaster team!!!
John Sununu is not a 'natural born' American - -
John Sununu's comments about Colin Powell are a disgrace to America.
Another Republican has broken away from the grip of the right wing obstructionists!
According to John Sununu, Meatloaf only endorsed Romney because he's white.
- John Sununu accused Colin Powel of supporting Obama because he is black. That is precisely Why I support him. He makes me proud to be black and an African.
why are Republicans digging John Sununu back up to bash Obama, youd think he would be happy enough with taxpayer funded ski trips to shut up
The only reason John Sununu is supportng Romney is because he's white?
To a Super-PAC not a campaign, big difference. What do you have to say about John Sununu then?

Mitt Romney's strong debate performance and his apology for his callous remarks deriding 47% of the American public appear to be moving his poll numbers up in some states. But Romney's reinvigorated campaign is unlikely to move black voters. Black support is at 0%, according to a NBC/Wall Street Journal poll (PDF) reported in late summer. The reasons for this may have powerful implications for the future of black political strength in presidential elections. It's worth recognizing that the unwillingness of black voters to offer any measurable support for the Republican presidential candidate is unprecedented. It's not enough to say that blacks are voting for President Obama because he's black and that racial solidarity trumps politics. Or to note that black voters are overwhelmingly affiliated with the Democratic Party. Sen. John McCain and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin ran against a considerably more charismatic and untarnished Obama -- who was still b ...

If romney is such a great candidate why are Colin Powell, Susan Eisenhower (Ike's granddaughter), Mayor Bloomberg (Independent), Lincoln Chafee, former Rep senator. However the best may be Linwood Holton former republican governor of virginia. when ask why he would support OBama and not his party choicee he responded with this quote"President Obama has a brain and he isnt afraid to use it. Colin Powell former secretary of state under Bush said, I no longer have a clue what Romney stands for. every time I read something he says he is contradicting something he said in the past two days." Of curse John sununu Romney's assistant campaign manager said " Of course Colin will vote for OBama, black men stick together. He later denied saying that but of he evidently doesn't think film or tape exists.
So ... what do those GOP racists John Sununu and Bill O'Reilly have to say about THIS?? ~
A day after former Secretary of State Colin Powell said he supported Barack Obama based on health care and foreign policy, a top Mitt Romney surrogate floated a different theory. Campaign co-chair and former New Hampshire Gov. John Sununu said Powell likely endorsed the president because they are bo...
Bill Clinton "when John Sununu called Colin Powell's endorsement of the President a race deal, Gov Romney was silent. Silence is a decision too"
The former secretary of state anticipates review board findings, while a security expert says cost of security at Baghdad, Kabul embassies to blame
Last week, Romney campaign co-chair John Sununu suggested that former Secretary of State and retired General Colin Powell endorsed President Obama because both men are African-Americans, and not because the deeply accomplished former cabinet secretary calmly evaluated Obama’s performance and deemed ...
Attorney General Pam Bondi joined Mitt Romney and the Republican team this Friday evening for a mega-rally in West Chester, Ohio, just outside of Cincinnati. Tens of thousands attended to hear Romney and his top national surrogates.
John Sununu needs to start sucking a *** until 2016. I'm tired of that piece of excrement.
ANSWER: Rush Limbaugh , Karl Rove , Donald Trump , Grover Norquist , *** Cheney , George Bush Jr. , John Sununu , Bill Oreilly , 99% of Fox news, and 53% of the GOP falling into a live volcano.QUESTION: What would I ask the magic Genie for first.
I have even seen them refer to his Presidency as a social experiment. Many times I have heard people say "OK this was a nice Social Experiment, now lets get a real President back in office" This is the most racist comment I have ever heard said about a President. It is no wonder the rest of the world no longer looks up to us as a super power or respects us when we no longer respect any of our Presidents. Saying things like this in the 50s wold have gotten you thrown into jail and it still should today. Kids used to want to grow up to be the President but not any more.
John Sununu thinks it's because they're both black. I think it's because they're both intelligent.
We seem to be going backward, not forward, on race and other bigotry issues.
An addendum to the spirited discussion to Tuesday's post... Regarding the race card, specifically.. by not disavowing the comments made my former Gov. John Sununu, Romney in fact, IS rewarding unacceptable behavior and views, so in my book, a vote for the Nitt Witt = disgusting. Notice, please I did not write that a vote for the Nitt Witt MAKES one a racist... It DOES however mean you support on...e. And it also means you support a misogynist, homophobe, who exhibited extreme cowardice in supporting Vietnam but refusing to serve (I dated a Mormon and know that it’s possible to post-pone one's Mission) who will literally stoop to blatant LYING (Jeep is not moving its factory to China - that's just the most recent lie, folks) in his pathetic attempt to win an office he is not qualified to occupy. To summarize: a vote for Romney doesn't make one a racist, misogynist homophobic coward, but it certainly indicates support for those views and behaviors or at the very least tolerance of them. The subjugation of ...
Let see, when a former Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Secretary of State and a Republican, Colin Powell, endorsed President Obama because of "public policy issues and leadership qualities", one of Mitt Romney's most senior campaign officials, former New Hampshire Governor John Sununu, asserted that General Powell's endorsement of President Obama was based on race. Well, at least one Republican can see thru Mitt Romney's ever changing policies on everything and when he voices his opinion he is basically labeled a racist. How low will the Republicans go?
I John Sununu think that Mayor Bloomberg andorse President Barack Obama because Mayor Bloomberg is black and Obama is black. Colin Powell andorse him because of his policies and the facts that he is doing a good jobs. Chris Christie is just a traitor because he coorperate with Barack Obama to do the job of the people who elected them togheter. We republicans we do not give a dawm about people affected by hurricane Sandy. We only care about party politics and the people are on theur own. That Fema crap we republicans leaders will srap that garbage and privatize everything including social security. I am Mitt Romney, John Sununu, and Paul Ryan and we approve this text.
Colin Powell is on record (2009) saying that race was one of the reasons he supported Obama last time.
Donna Brazile says a disturbing new poll, and comments by Romney surrogate John Sununu show that the country is far from MLK's dream of a post-racial reality
Let's see, on one side we have distinguished former Republicans General/Secretary of State Colin Powell, the Mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg and Susan Eisenhower--and even the Salt Lake City newspaper's endorsement. On the other we have the likes of *** Cheney, Rush Limbaugh, John Sununu and a bunch of hateful crazies who are obsessed with anti-everything ideas to explain away what they just cannot tolerate. How is this race even close?
(CNN) -- President Barack Obama's campaign touts the endorsement of former Secretary of State Colin Powell, a Republican, in new television and radio ads released Wednesday and Thursday.
What's John Sununu's Wins Above Replacement for the campaign? -60? Lol
President Obama was asked about remarks made by Romney's co-chair, John Sununu regarding Colin Powell's endorsement. Here is his response.
Can we all agree that John Sununu should be the next US Ambassador to the Vatican? 1) it gets him out of the country 2) He'd learn that as an official of the United States of America that our government doesn't, and shouldn't take orders from religious leaders of any stripe
Who's opinion do you respect and trust! Colin Powell or John Sununu? No Contest and NOT even close! :o))
Mitt Romney sends out his racist surrogates, Donald Trump and John Sununu, to deliver a racist message for all other racists to vote for Romney. Romney may not himself be a racist, but it is evident that Mitt has no scruples at all.
John Sununu, an outspoken top advisor to Mitt Romney, his campaign chair, and a Romney surrogate who frequently appears on TV news shows, yesterday told America that General Colin Powell endorsed President Barack Obama because they both are Black.
Lawrence Wilkerson, General Colin Powell’s former chief of staff, blasted the GOP Friday saying: “My party is full of racists.” Wilkerson, a retired Army Colonel, went off on the GOP while appearing as a guest on MSNBC’s “The Ed Show” Friday night, telling host Ed Schultz that the Republican Party...
Bloomberg endorses Obama! I can't wait until someone asks John Sununu if this makes Bloomberg black or Obama Jewish.
Hmm - He didn't say anything about endorsing the president because they're both black. I guess John Sununu was wrong.
John Sununu, Romney's *** spokesman, said that Colin Powell's endorsement of Obama was probably because they are both black. I wonder what he will say now that Mayor Michael Bloomberg just endorsed Obama, as did The Economist magazine. Sununu keeps saying that Obama doesn't know how to be an American and yet he was born in Cuba. Republicans. I'm telling ya.
This is John Sununu, top surrogate for Mitt Romney.
Any minute now, John Sununu is going to say that NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg must be black if he's endorsing President Obama. Or maybe he'll say Obama is secretly Jewish. Either way will be vintage Sununu.
I need John Sununu to explain this Michael Bloomberg endorsement to me
Mayor Michael Bloomberg has endorsed President Obama. John Sununu was asked to comment, and he said, "Mayor Bloomberg is only endorsing President Obama because he's part white, and when you have pride in your own race, you feel an obligation to do that."
Mike Huckabee news bulletin. "If you don't vote Republican you are going to burn in *** " or something like that. "I love the smell of civil discourse in the morning," said by me. Why am I not surprised to hear anything and everything these days as some in this country cannot help but show their true colors like John Sununu, the Donald, Hucabee, Morning Joe, Mark Halperin, Rush and now Geraldo points out that there is bloodlusting in reference to Fox news and Benghazi. As if we didn't know that real time extremism in many forms on Fox is not the order of the day. Some people in America are still in love with their own twisted version of their view of nostalgia and will, through any means necessary, make yesterday a part of today so they can get their country back, repeal healthcare, have freedom or... you know the rest if you have been paying attention. Those who fainted over Colin Powell's endorsement of the president were the ones Malcolm X spoke of long ago when he opined about an old saying in this c ...
Republican Mayor Michael Bloomberg endorsed President Obama today. Said Romney surrogate John Sununu, "I didn't know Mayor Bloomberg was black."
John Sununu and Paul Ryan caught smoking Cohiba's in a miniature replica of the Air Force One? IT'S TWUE, IT'S TWUE!!
claims he is not racist, but John Sununu is still co-chair of his campaign.
This election only got close when Mitt ran from positions. Thoughts? John Sununu
Obama’s lackluster performance : Former New Hampshire Governor John Sununu was right to claim that President Obama is a lazy president and that the primary reason fellow Republican Colin Powell endorsed him was because both men are black. Obama’s laziness was demonstrated by his lackadaisical ‘empty chair ‘ performance in the first presidential debate. This shows that he is not prepared or even interested in leading the country out of its economic and moral wilderness. Also, while our politically correct society would have us believe that racism in the US is dead, it is, in fact, very much alive. Four years ago, a staggering 95 percent of blacks voted for Obama despite the fact that most blacks — especially those belonging to the bible belt — militantly oppose all of Obama’s anti-life values and policies that include the acceptance of abortion, contraception, homosexual marriage and religious freedom. We can overcome the racial barrier not by voting for a president who is black or white but ...
To suggest that, in these troubled times, that one would vote for Barack Obama or anyone else based solely on race is ridiculous, narrow-minded, and suggests that Mr. Sununu sees people through colored glasses.
To 4 Americans dying in due to inept leadership isn't news. Only Binders, Bain and John Sununu gaffes make Headline News.
I honestly find it fascinating that Theodore Roosevelt IV, Susan Eisenhower, David and Julie Nixon Eisenhower, what seems to be most of Jerry Ford's kids, and Ronald Reagan, Jr. (ahem ... that's Ronald REAGAN, Jr., and, rumor has it, NANCY REAGAN, too) are all endorsing Obama. Plus a lot of Rockefellers, Heinzes, Weickers, Chaffees, Snowes and Specters. The only pre-W era Republican Romney's seemed to attract is John Sununu, and who in their right mind wants that creep?
John Sununu is kind of like the man!!! He has verbally byatch slapped many times.

Was it really only 5 days ago that John Sununu said some impossibly racist ish about POTUS and Colin Powell?
Great thing about GOP campaigns is I find out people I thought were dead (Ross Perot, John Sununu, Norm Coleman, etc) are not.
Good night. I hope to dream of either or John Sununu taking Press Sec. job in admin.
The only thing I`m going to miss when Obama is gone is watching John Sununu attacking him every day. He needs his own show!!!
Just 7 days to go until the election! And a "random thoughts" issue of my "And, in the News..." newsletter just went out - covering news, views, and wisecracks about John Sununu, the potential political impacts of Storm: Sandy, and other timely thoughts and theories. Let me know if you don't get these yet, but would like to see issue Thanks...
What about Sununu saying Colin Powell endorsement is based on race?! I miss ethics of John McCain!
"To call a black person racist for voting for someone who is black is to minimize the meaning of racism. Racism in America is a systemic deliberate dis-empowerment of people based solely on their skin color. When black folks start having the power to systematically dis-empower whites, you can call them racists. Resentment after being the victim of racism for hundreds of years is not racism. It's a healthy human response. To deny the victim of a crime the ability to feel, to process, and to react is to align with the perpetrator and is a continuation of the crime. You can't step on someone's foot and at the same refuse them the right to scream or to push you off. Racism is not supporting someone of your own race. Racism is going out of your way to destroy, dis-empower, defeat, and defame others solely based on their race. I as a black person will never cast a ballot with the same party that now houses the KKK and other greater and lesser racists. I don't care how much more economic growth they have to offe ...

I think its amazing that John Sununu suggests that Cilin Powell is voting for Obama because hes a fellow black man but he doesn't see that the correlary is that hes voting for Romney because hes a fellow white man.

The former chief of staff to Colin Powell has said the Republican Party is 'full of racists' in response to a comment by Mitt Romney's top aide John
I'm surprised that John Sununu didn't say that Chris Christie praised Obama's response to Hurricane Sandy only because Christie is black.
This would be a great time for the President to raise the issue of the Gulf Coast (BP) oil spill, April, 2010. The President’s stewardship of that event was unprecedented. Never in our history has a President taken an action against domestic corporate interests to protect the interests of the citizens. Maybe this is what ex-Senator, John Sununu meant when he said that President Obama didn’t know how to be an American? We should all remember that, unlike his predecessor, this President is the people’s President.
Susan Eisenhower a traditional Republican has endorsed President Obama, wow!!! where is John Sununu to make the claim that she did that because President Obama's mother is white therefore he aapplauds her for it.
Here is President Obama who: stopped a depression, ended a war, caught bin Ladin, saved the auto industry, brought unemployment rates below below 8%, AND tackled health care. And what did John Sununu have the guts to say: "He's lazy" and "not a real American". He went even further to suggest that one should look at the color of Gen. Powell's skin and see why he endorsed the president. No, we should look at the color of Sununu's soul to see why he supports who he does and why Romney hasn't come out to condemn his remarks. They are racist. And Romney wants them to be. He has used just such tactics this entire campaign. From the casual remarks about his birth, to endorsing Mourdouck. No other candidate could have a such a list of accomplishments as our President and then be told by a venture capitalist like Romney who has fed at at the trough of others loss his whole life; "You have no record to run on." It is because President Obama is a man of a different color and he is held to a higher standard. It isn' ...
Retired Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson blasted the Republican Party and one of Mitt Romney’s top aide as racist after John Sununu said that the only reason Colin Powell endorsed Obama is because both men are black.
Oluwaseyi Oduyela wrote from Washington DC: "The John Sununu in Our Imagination". I have heard Dr. John Sununu’s criticism of President Barack Obama not once but many times. One of them was when he wished the President knew how to act like an American. After the first debate he called Obama lazy and now after his endorsement by Secretary Collin Powell, he came out to say that the endorsement was racially motivated. This made me to do a little research on John Sununu. To my surprise, John Sununu obtained his PhD the year I was born-1966. This shows that he is well read but truly there is difference between knowledge and wisdom. I discovered too that Sununu was born in Havana, Cuba. He has Greek, El Salvadorian and Palestinian background. What can be responsible for Sununu’s hatred for Obama? Sununu is no stranger to controversy. He infuriated some as the only governor of a U.S. state not to call for repeal of the controversial UN General Assembly Resolution 3379 ("Zionism is Racism"). He later reve ...
Chris Christie just praised Obama. John Sununu wasted no time saying that the praise was race based.
Today someone asked me why I was supporting President Obama. On Rev Al MSNBC page of course he was a Romeny fan and he's veteran that along I don't understand. Because Romney cut benefits for veterans while he was governor of Massachusetts. I wanted to answer so badly, because he's black and made it to the higest office like the other folks did. But that's just me being prideful of his acheivements. I just listed a few things that hit home. Obamacare as the nuts name it. Making education & training a natural priority. He's for Unions, he thinks women should have access to free preventative health care. Modications for home owners approved faster. He ended war in Iraq. Restoring america's standing around the world. He believes in equality for all people, and sign the Lilly Ledbetter Fair pay act. He supports education by giving more flexibility to no child left behind making college aid more available. He thinks millionaires and billionaires should pay their fair share of taxes like the rest of us. Presid ...

Here is a message for John Sununu. I just took a blind test on the issues. It was about 25 questions. Turns out I agreed with Obama 97% of the time and Romney 6% of the time. Therefore Obama and I share a lot of the same opinions on issues of today. Yes I'm voting for him because he's black. You red-neck, racist, greaseball, born in Cuba, SOB. Boy the election had better get her quick because these lying *** are going to get me to cussing and make me loose my blessings.

Sharing from my coworker Gino. Please read especially if you're in public safety! Mitt Romney came under fire this weekend from Democrats after he suggested that we shouldn’t hire more firefighters. Then top Romney surrogate John Sununu, the former governor of New Hampshire, doubled down on Romney’s firefighter comments today, telling MSNBC they were not a “gaffe.” This is hardly the first time the presumed GOP nominee has tangled with firefighters. In fact, he has a long, bitter history with them. As governor of Massachusetts, Romney often ended up sparring with firefighters and their unions. He proposed stripping collective bargaining rights for firefighters and police officers in a city that needed a state bailout, and cut funding to a fire station to be built on the site where six firemen died. He also proposed tripling the state police budget to deal with homeland security concerns in the years after 9/11, but didn’t offer a dime for firefighters, angering many at the time. In 2004, when th ...

So Republican racism is coming to the fore. Is anyone really surprised by Sarah Palin's "shuck and jive" remark, or John Sununu's comments about Colin Powell, Donald Trump's idiotic claims or any of the other trash talk? Mitt Romney's failure to speak about against verbal atrocities committed in his name disqualifies him to be president, period.

I remember my mouth hanging open in disbelief when John Sununu said this. I couldn't believe someone in his position would say something so ignorant, racist and condescending in front of cameras. This cartoon sums up the first thought that ran through my head.
those who have worked with Colin Powell respect him and take his endorsement seriously. Those who have worked with John Sununu try to hide that fact.
Romney thinks Americans in general are as stupid as the republican base but they are in a category of stupid unparalleled in Americas history, When people can cheer one of their leaders and runner up in the primaries saying, "The Republican Party will never attract smart people", you know they are in a world of alternative universes where the obvious lies are meant for someone else not them and every whopper told is for a good cause. John Sununu focused the real reason behind why they would prefer to be lied to and a recent survey backed it up with the startling truth. 78% of Republicans hold a deep dislike towards minorities. So any liar is better than an honest black man in their preferred world and any lie is worth removing one from the White House, even at the expense of economic recovery, jobs, lack of cohesion as a nation, empathy for the victims of the Wall Street Crash and ensuing near great depression. Even at the expense of the loss of national sanity, international derision aimed at America by ...
And frankly, when you take a look at John Sununu, you have to wonder whether that's a comment based on issues or whether he's got a slightly different reason for bringing up Colin Powell's endorsement of President Obama.
I have always admired Colin Powell. When you think about who is the best person for the job of President, he would be at the top of many lists. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to want the job. He recently endorsed President Obama, believing he has done a good job of ending the war and rescuing the economy. When asked, General Powell was critical of Romney's tax plan and his foreign policy. I was disappointed by the Republican response. John McCain was critical of Powell's endorsement by saying "he (Powell) has harmed his legacy even further". Even further? Was the first time when he didn't endorse McCain in 2008? John Sununu, Romney's co-chair of his election campaign team suggested Powell's endorsement was only because Obama is black. Really, the race card? I respect their right to free expression but it's not right for leading Republican spokesmen to denigrate an American hero for expressing an opinion in a free country. Had he endorsed Romney, they would sing a different song. Politics is a dirty busin ...

John Sununu implied that Colin Powell only endorsed Barack Obama because they both have brown skin.
On Friday Cory Booker and Ann Coulter commented on John Sununu's assumption that Colin Powell's endorsement of President Barack Obama was because of race. Watch the clips and listen to the interview as Booker calls Mitt Romney's response to Sununu's comments a "disappointment" and Coulter remarks that it was "such a terrible thing to speculate about."
Black or white, if any candidate in Canadian politics wrote off 47% of the population he/she was supposed to be serving, that person would not be in contention for leadership let alone a neck and neck race. Yet somehow people take issue with Colin Powell for endorsing Obama? When American's start looking at policies over politics maybe they will forget what Obama looks like or where he was born, and might actually see why people are voting for him.

I was watching the news last night. It was BET, a special they had about President Obama and black vote. There were some black Republicans at they were saying the Democratic Party is the party of racism, segregation. The part that got me so upset was this. One of them said the Democrats are now getting out the slaves to vote. And they were talking and looking so angry. My argument with them is this. First it's a bunch of malarkey. There are hardly any blacks in the Republican Party. Why? It's becoming an increasingly racist party with a bunch of house slaves, like Michael Steele and a few more. A party with Rush Limbaugh, Shawn Hannity, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingrham, Bill O'Reilly, Donald Trump, John Sununu and more, is a party I think blacks have no business joining.

John Sununu said POWELL endorced Obama because he's black?! How many Presidents were voted for Bcuz they were WHITE? check your history.
John Sununu wants to make it about race because Colin Powell said: Romney is saying things quite different from what he said B4.
Favorite quote of the day from the NY Daily News. RNC Chairman Priebus "conceded that with the race so tight it’s important high-profile Republicans maintain 'discipline' and avoid gaffes — like Indiana’s Richard Mourdock saying pregnancies that result from rape are God’s work and John Sununu suggesting Colin Powell endorsed Obama because they’re black." Of course the problem is, Murdoch, like Atkins with "legitimate rape" didn't commit "gaffs"--the problem is these old guys actually feel that way! Sununu's remark wasn't a mistake: he meant it, it's not a "gaff"--it's racist. Preibus wants "discipline" by which he means "stop saying what you mean!" because when these ancients say what they mean it makes clear how crazy and stupid Republicans really are.
Now that the Des Moines Register has endorsed Romney, I wonder if John Sununu would say it's because Romney is white!
John Sununu, (nice American name), Donald Trump, Sarah Pailn, and Archie Bunker are all one of the same.
