John Lennon & Kurt Cobain

Happy New year tho and long live Bob Dylan, Neil Young, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Arlo Guthrie, Jerry and everybody amen

But what if Heaven is a real thing? What if Kurt Cobain is jamming with John Lennon right now? For example.
What if Kurt Cobain, John Lennon and others were merely hiding out in seclusion? That's the basis for a new beer commercial.

The world needs more musicians/ writers like: Bob Marley, Kurt Cobain, Freddie Mercury , Johnny Cash, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Ronnie Van Zant , Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison!!! Heaven must sound so good. Better than what we got here
"Hashtag Selfie" is the MOST REQUESTED SONG IN THE WORLD? Somewhere in Heaven, Freddie Mercury, Kurt Cobain, Tupac, Biggie, Otis Redding, John Lennon, and George Harrison.. all hang their heads in shame.
For fun. Ray Charles, liver life-expectancy shorter than expected. John Lennon, allergy to lead. Janis Joplin death by Southern Comfort. Kurt Cobain died of ennui, basically. Michael Jackson, terrible case of identity crisis. Beethoven, heptitis. Amy Winehouse, failure to follow 12 easy steps. Elvis Presley, peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Bob Marley, religion and an inability to handle digital remastering. Jim Morrisson, snort, swallow, inject repeat. Johnny Cash, death by pie. Freddy Mercury, failure to “cover his meat when he went into heat.” Duane Allman answering the long standing question: motorcycle or bus.Whitney Houston, drown in a sea of receipts. Pick one? Anyone. More talent in one paragraph than can be found on all music billboards today. “Life is for the living. Death is for the dead. Let life be like music. And death a note unsaid.” ― Langston Hughes “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” ― Plato
History will tell you that John Lennon and Tupac Shakur were both gunned down by assassins, that Marilyn Monroe and Kurt Cobain were both so depressed that they committed suicide—yet what if they actually just wanted to escape to a tropical island, where they could spend the rest of their days drink
"John Lennon was definitely my favorite Beatle, hands down." -Kurt Cobain.

Dear God, give us back Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley and John Lennon, and We'll give You… —
I think I'm Jimi Hendrix, I think I'm Kurt Cobain, John Lennon gone insane. Someone take this gun before I blow out my brains.
I really wonder how different music would be today if John Lennon, Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, Jim Morrison, John Bonham, Kurt Cobain, Andrew wood, Layne Staley and all other great influential musicians hadn't died so young. I wonder.
When I think of the list of all my film and music heroes (Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Ian Curtis, Richey Edwards, Heath Ledger, Marlon Brando, Bon Scott, Marc Bolan, Jim Morrison) it makes me feel sad that these people (through one reason or other, own fault or not) are no longer with us. What fills me with even more despair is the fact that Justin Beiber still exists.
You guys are all just jealous that I get to hang out with John Lennon and Kurt Cobain in a lake of fire when I die.
As I listen to my music on my other system I just feel sad at times for all the good musicians that have passed. John Lennon, Peter Steele, Dimebag Darrel, Tim Kelly, Kurt Cobain, Lou Reed, Trevor Bolder, Clive Burr, Donna Summers, Davy Jones, Etta James, Ronnie James Dio, Jani Lane, Amy Winehouse, Freddie Mercury and so many more that have touched my life. They left the world with great music but left to soon. May they all be resting in peace.
“John Lennon has been my idol all my life.” -[Kurt Cobain's Journal - Page. 130]
I can't meet my idols, but I can dream. I love you my angels: Freddie Mercury, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, George Harrison, Mitch Lucker.

John Lennon and Kurt Cobain are two people I would have loved to meet
Today was the death of two of Rock And Roll's greatest legends John Lennon and Dimebag Darrel. John Lennon spoke the truth in regards to fight for our rights and stand up for ourselves. Dimebag Darrel is the savior of metal in the 90s as metal was being taken over by grunge, which is also a great rock genre R.I.P Layne Staley and Kurt Cobain, by producing the best albums: Cowboys from *** Vulgar Display of Power, Far beyond Driven, and The Great Southern Trendkill. each new album was even better as they progressed. Nevertheless Dimebag Darrel should be in the Rock And Roll hall of fame.
I like to think that Elvis, Dimebag, John Lennon, Johnny Cash, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Ronnie Van Zant, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, Jim Morrison, Jerry Garcia, Ritchie Valens, Buddy Holly, George Harrison, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Bonham and anyone else I've missed are jamming their *** off in heaven right now.
Joaquin Phoenix, Dr. Spencer Reid, Jared Leto are some of my favorite things ...John Lennon, Kurt Cobain and Jim Morrison too...the sound of my music. Just to name a few. ;-)
Also thankful for Kurt Cobain, Eddy Vedder, Paul Mccartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Grew up listening to awesome guys

Which famous person from the past would you most like to meet? — John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, & Albert Einstein.
October 30, 2007…A year after losing the top spot to Nirvana's Kurt Cobain, Elvis Presley, with an income of $49 million during the previous 12 months, once again topped Forbes magazine's list of the highest-earning dead celebrities. John Lennon ranked second, "Peanuts" creator Charles Schulz was third, and George Harrison fourth.
John Lennon - Hologram Museum To Open In London Thursday, October 17, 2013 Rock fans will get the chance to perform 'live' with dead heroes including John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Freddie Mercury and Kurt Cobain when a hologram museum opens in London. Bosses of the Music Hall of Fame in Camden, north London are planning to use the latest technology to create lifelike 3D images of some of the world's most famous late and living stars. Visitors will then be able to join their favourite musician for a performance, which will be recorded onto Dvd for posterity. The innovative idea was sparked after a hologram of dead rapper Tupac Shakur was used during a performance by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre at last year's (12) Coachella festival in California. The project's manager Lee Bennett tells the London Evening Standard, "You could be transported back to a specific moment of music or play with artists who are no longer alive, even playing back-to-back with a hologram.
I know people are begging for death performers to come back to life, but wouldn't it be pretty f**king scary if John Lennon, Whitney Houston, Kurt Cobain, and Heath Ledger to just rise up from the grave, walk to their families all to say, "What did I miss while I was gone?"
What makes an artist an artist? Perhaps its their sensitivity, which makes it unbearable for them to live in such a cruel world like Kurt Cobain. Perhaps its their dedication. Its Leonardo Da Vinci carving away at a sculpture while his fingers bled and he stood in a puddle of his own urine. Perhaps its applying that sensitivity to action like John Lennon. Is it a heightened sensitivity that breeds the most touching art?
I want to die, to meet Syd Barrett, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, John Bonham and Kei…
What would you do if you saw Elvis or, well, pick someone else famous that you never met, but is dead and you know exactly what they look like. Someone you've always wanted to meet (John Lennon, Tupac, Andy Warhol, Sid Vicious, John F. Kennedy, Princess Diana, etc.) but it was simply impossible because it was well known that they were dead. OK, now, go get some gas and walk in to pay. They walk out of said convenience store, give you that, 'Yeah, it's me, be cool' kind of smile, get in their car and drive off. What do you think? That pretty much happened to me this morning. Everything in my brain tells me Kurt Cobain is dead. I have all the evidence in the world. I don't really even think about it, or him. I don't expect to see him and I certainly don't go looking to- he's dead. So, this morning, I go to get some gas. I walk inside to pay and as I walk in... there he is. He's not old at all. In fact, he looks like he's just about to meet Dave Grohl for the very first time. He doesn't expect an ...
John Lennon and Kurt Cobain's deaths make me butthurt.
I think im Jimmi Hendrix . I think im Kurt Cobain. I think im John Lennon. Gone insane
It's weird how one person can have a powerful affect on the world. John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, 2pac, Elvis, Kurt Cobain.
George Harrison?, Freddie Mercury, James Brown, Not sure who the guy in the suit is, Bon Scott?, Janis Joplin, Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Jerry Garcia, and Frank Zappa on the toilet!!!
TOP 10 FAVORITE GUITARISTS Choosing 10 guitarists is like asking an art lover to pick 10 paintings or a chef to pick 10 foods, it's hard. There are so many great guitarists out there. I'm choosing my 10 favorite. They may not be the fastest shredders, but they have stage presence, stamina, can smoke most others on the guitar and have created or rewritten history with their awesomeness. Since there are usually 10 guitarists for every band, counting down only 10 overall is no small feat. Chances are, some of your favorites will be left out. I will be mainly focusing on the older guitarists, as this is my list and I can do whatever I want. Honorable mention: Nancy Wilson, Steve Vai, Ace Frehley, Buckethead, Jeff Beck, Kurt Cobain, John Fruciante, Dave Navarro, Hillel Slovak & James Iha More honorable mentions: Chuck Berry, Keith Richards, Pete Townshed, John Lennon, Joe Sartiani, Steve Vai & Peter Frampton *please ignore anything after the list has been finshed, my phone keeps messing up* 10.) Carlos Santana ...
Just want to take a moment to thank Kurt Cobain, Michael Larson, Brad Nowell, Layne Staley, Jim Morrison, Robert Johnson, Thurston Moore, James Brown, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Lennon, Peter Nelson, Ian Matthias Bavitz, Bob Marley, Jan Paul Beahm, Sean Daley, Jim Carrol, Chris Mcandless, And well there is probably a couple more that I will remember Later but never actually forget, for your existence and bearing your art form for all to witness and embrace. Much Love
That's it! Unless Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain resurrect themselves to form a supergroup, I am done shooting from the mixer. It is a total waste of time, when will the artistes management realise we are there to make them look good, beyond a joke!
Reading a magazine about John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Randy Roads, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Why do the good ones die so young?
Kurt Cobain, Jimmy Hendrix, Elvis Presley, John Lennon, George Harrison and my grandmother were still alive.
Five people Dead people I'd like to meet. Jimmy Hendrix,Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, John Lennon, the third hokage.
If I hear another JB fan say he's better than John Lennon, Freddie Mercury, Steve Perry, or Kurt Cobain, I will punch them back to daycare.
i really wish wise musicians like Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Freddie Mercury, Jaco Pastorius and John Lennon were still alive.
19 years ago today, we lost the most influential man since John Lennon, R.I.P. Kurt Cobain, your music is still cherished around the world
Heaven? Can we trade One Direction for John Lennon, George Harrison, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison?
Odd mental image appeared. The Gillette spots with three famous sportsmen, but with Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, and John Lennon instead...
MJ,Elvis,Freddie Mercury,John Lennon,James Brown,Bob Marley,Kurt Cobain...Music would be so better if these were with us
If you don't know who Kurt Cobain, John Lennon or Jimmy Page are, you can leave.
I'm still waiting on the day when John Lennon, Kurt Cobain and Joey Ramone resurrect and save music.
It occurred to me that many more American rock guitarists die early than do British guitarists. So I went to Rolling Stone's list of 100 Greatest Guitarists and noted those who died before age 55 or so. Here's what I found: American dead: Dime Bag Darrell, Buddy Holly, Kurt Cobain, Robert Johnson, Clarence White, Jerry Garcia, Mike Bloomfield, Randy Rhoads, Frank Zappa, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Duane Allman, Jimi Hendrix. British dead: John Lennon, *** Ronson, George Harrison. Dead American guitarists not making the list include Roy Buchanan, Danny Gatton, Johnny Thunders, and Tommy Bolin. The only other British guitarist I could think of was Paul Kossoff. Weird.
I hope there is a heaven or afterlife so I can meet Einstein, Ian Curtis, John Lennon and Kurt Cobain
Give us back Freddie Mercury ,Cliff Burton,John Lennon,Euronymous,Kurt Cobain and we give you Justin Bieber,One Direction,Tokio Bordel ..:|
I was thinking: You know how my parents' generation had several popular music legends/icons die early (Jimmy Hendricks, Janis Joplin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Lennon, etc.) and my generation had several too (Kurt Cobain, Michael Hutchence, etc.)? These people, beginning with being great and genius in life, gained their ultimate, acclaimed place in history through death. It was almost as if they were meant to be great and then cemented in the most prestigious and revered annals of music history through tragedy at a relatively young age. These great game-changers have all become legendary, sometimes almost martyrs. So I started thinking, who among today's popular "musicians" might find themselves a candidate to become one of these legendary musicians should they die/be killed before their time...then I realized: They'll all safely live to old age :)
The rock does not compare!! In the world music there are millions of people listening to the Rolling Stones that are in it ... more 40 years! ... Lots of people that listen Aerosmith, U2, Creedence, Black Sabbath, groups led_zeppelin ... There are still a lot of legendary ... people mourning the death of Freddie Mercury, that of Kurt Cobain, the John Lennon, Cliff Burton, Dimebag Darrell, DIO, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison of Luca Prodan, or Joey Ramone .. And million more than they listen to the today ... Guns & Roses, Nirvana, Pink Floyd ... even if they disappeared about 10 Years .. Many more people following listening to The Beatles, The Doors, Queen .. that disappeared more 20 years .. metalheads that listen to Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Hellowen, Motorhead ... Many who followed Riff still excited .. kon Pappo Vitico ... and a few others who are fanátikos of Hermetic and V8 .. 'Rollingas' they are followers Eternals of Mice Parade, The 25, Intoxicated, Young Beggars, street .. and ke always ...
God, please take Justin Bieber, one direction and Nicki Minaj, and give us back Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, Joey Ramone and Jim Morrison :(
Syd Barrett, Axl Rose, Freddie Mercury, Roger Waters, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, Saul Hudson, John Lennon, Paul Mccartney, Eddie Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar... If you don't know who these people are, I have less respect for you.
People are talking about Kurt Cobain, cause it's his bday & saying he died too early & was a music god, like Elvis & John Lennon. I like Nirvana, but Cobain should NOT be in the same conversation as those 2. Nirvana was a popular band, they didn't re-invent music the way Elvis & Lennon did. Anybody disagree?
Best band in Heaven as far as we are concerned is Sid Vicious on bass, Kurt Cobain on guitar/vocals, John Lennon piano/keyboard/vocals and Keith Moon drums..if they could ever get an album made

my favorite person the person I think is the most wonderful person out there, the one that inspires me the most is not Marilyn Manson or Kurt Cobain or Trent Reznor or Rob Zombie it would be without a doubt John Lennon
Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Tupac, John Lennon, Peter Tosh, Whitney Houston, Biggie, Kurt Cobain, Left Eye.we miss you, and so many more
Researching the resurrection of Tupac and came across this "Perhaps, instead of Live Aid, some bold entrepreneur could stage Dead Aid, the greatest bill ever seen in this world or the next: Elvis, Frank Sinatra, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Tupac Shakur, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin.." Dead Aid... It's the future
Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, Christina Aguilera, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, Madonna, Paul Mccartney, Whitney Houston, John Lennon, Frank Sinatra, Mariah Carey, Kurt Cobain, Eminem, Amy Lee, Stevie Wonder, Ozzy Osbourne, Axl Rose, Elton John, Aretha Franklin, Bob Marley, Johnny Cash, Nat King Cole, Amy Winehouse. What do all these people have in common? they where music/vocal masters idols on top of there generation... how many can you think of?
Julian Casablancas, Jim Morrison, Alex Turner, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, and Axl Rose are all my favorites. :-)
RIP Ronnie Van Zant. I know you’re up there with all the other great musicians who also died way too young: Duane Allman, John Belushi, Jerry Garcia, George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Holly, Michael Jackson, Brian Jones, Janis Joplin, John Lennon, Bob Marley, Jim Morrison, Elvis Presley, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kurt Cobain, Freddie Mercury… Meanwhile we’re stuck down here with the likes of Justin Bieber, Barry Manilow and Nicki Minaj. :-(
Week 3 Discussion: Charismatic Leadership written by David Charles Kramer In the past and present, charismatic leaders have risen in politics, entertainment, and of course in businesses throughout the world. With such a variety of charismatic leaders, we can study attributes and common traits of people that differ greatly from each other. Perhaps charisma is one of the only common denominators when we speak of names such as Bill Clinton, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and Warren Buffett, and compare them to leaders of different mediums such as musical leaders. Such leaders in music have risen with the fame of individuals such as Kurt Cobain, Elvis Presley, Paul Mccartney, John Lennon, and Jim Morrison. Charisma is a leader trait that results in effects on followers. Both positive and negative effects can occur from charisma. Not all charismatic leaders have been great role models. Kurt Cobain’s drug abuse and suicide left Nirvana’s followers sad, ashamed, mad, and without a leader. Cobain’s influenc ...
I need to figure out some more relevant memorials for my class. They are too young for John Lennon, or even Kurt Cobain. Ideas?
No more "kindly connect", Mami Jean's been a mentor when I was a newbie. The Raspberries should have been huge. That has been acknowledged by everyone from John Lennon and Elton John to Kurt Cobain and Guns 'N Roses.
What would you rather: Kurt Cobain to sing to you in a dream, or John Lennon to teach you how to play imagine? Hmm.
Sometimes I wonder what music would be like today if we hadn't of lost Marc Bolan, John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Jimmy Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Michael Hutchence and Freddie Mercury so very young. While there are many more I could have listed, these 7 absolute legends were so influential, inspiring, creative and talented. The world today would be different and its hard to understand how different because they're gone. Not only the music they would have created, but the future musicians they could have inspired. We have missed out on so much and it is sad. I miss them and I thank them for what they gave for their very brief lives, but I still wonder.
The Seattle grunge scene that transformed rock in the '90s produced four great voices, but the most distinct among them belonged to Alice in Chains' Layne Staley. Nirvana's Kurt Cobain deeply understood musical dynamics and could simultaneously scream and sing a melody in a way that few others could—think of John Lennon's searing lead vocal performance on "Twist and Shout." Soundgarden's Chris Cornell wailed and hit high notes, putting him at times in Robert Plant or Freddie Mercury territory. Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder combined a Jim Morrison-style natural baritone range with other punk and rock influences. But Staley sounded like no one else. His ability to project power and vulnerability in his vocals, as well as the unique and complementary harmonies he created when singing with Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell, made for a style that would get copied for years after Alice in Chains became a household name.
I'm so jealous 'cause at the 60's they had John Lennon, at the 70's they had Freddie Mercury, at the 80's Axl Rose n at 90's Kurt Cobain +
latest I heard is Paul Mccartney is going to change his entire identity to `Kurt Cobain` using forged passports and plastic surgery and tour with Nirvana all the time. Like everyday. and live out the rest of his days as Kurt. Ringo`s got his eyes on replacing Dave Grohl too who fancys himself as a natural replacement to John Lennon. This could get interesting. Band Swap Idol. It`s good how a P.R story can snowball by chinese whispers of annoyance when the real annoying story of the day everyone should be talking asbout is Rebecca Brookes got paid £10,800,000 in compensation to not go to work anymore after what could be mildly described as a `shanner` of a job at News Corp. Everyone should be annoyed and talking about that. or saying/ typing mic check 12.12.12. or sharing the `Christmas Pimpin` video by Colonel Mustard & The Dijon Five.
Paul Mccartney will be Kurt Cobain, and Joel and Benji Madden are set to fill in for John Lennon and George Harrison, respectively.
There is something that lately I've found a LOT more annoying than metal elitists. Classic rock elitists. It's the people that WORSHIP John Lennon and Kurt Cobain (classic rock?). And you HAVE to love EVERY "important" (aka popular and influential) classic rock band, as well as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, RHCP, Sublime, and White Stripes (for whatever reason) as well, or your taste in music is terrible. The only heavy metal bands on the planet are Sabbath, Metallica and Iron Maiden if you are lucky. John Petrucci is a mindless shredder, Slash and Angus Young are the deities of guitar. If it ain't 3 chord 4/4 Rock N' Roll, it ain't good unless it's Pink Floyd. Rush is too artsy, and for some reason "Somebody that I Used to Know" has to be the one pop song I like just to show I'm not a hipster dinosaur. Shinedown is the one good modern rock band, and Def Leppard are still an AMAZING live band, and Aerosmith playing on Billboard 200 is an EXTREME disappointment. Sorry, I feel like the only person that h ...
John Lennon: An Appreciation Preface: Imagine Paul singing, to the tune of Sgt. Peppers, "It was 32 years ago, today/ They murdered the best who ever was, to play..." There is not much new left to be said about John Lennon. Suffice it to say that, for me, he is the greatest single figure in pop music history. Murdered at age 40, just as he was undergoing a renaissance of creativity that surely would have carried him through middle age with vitality and dignity, the loss of his art to humanity is incalculable. I’m not exaggerating when I state that this sentiment is shared by millions. Go to Youtube, watch his videos, and read the comments. People are still genuinely angry, hurt, and saddened over his death. No other musician who died prematurely, including giants like Otis Redding, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, even Jimi Hendrix and Charlie Parker; none of them have managed to stay in the mind of popular consciousness like the figure of John Lennon. Perhaps it is the fact that he was assassinated, while th ...
The Pretty Reckless are not bad at all! Taylor Momsen's idols are apparently Robert Plant, Kurt Cobain & John Lennon. Interesting.
Lamp I made out of a metal barrel. Tribute to John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Joe Strummer and Kurt Cobain. Great song writers.
Famous Fatal Flaws : Kurt Cobain, he pointed the gun in the wrong direction. John Lennon? He ALTRUISTICALLY ACCEPTED IT.
Can we please have Mitch Lucker, The Rev, Dimebag Darrell, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, Paul Gray and Cliff Burton back? :/
Well musically speaking, I want to be a hybrid of John Lennon, Ely Buendia, Kurt Cobain, and Billie Joe Armstrong.

Did Justin Bieber really compair himself to Kurt Cobain and John Lennon? If he did then that just proves my point that our generation of music is dying. Someone has to bring grunge and punk rock back!
Hump Day Rewind: On this day in music history, forbes.com revealed in 2006 that Kurt Cobain (Nirvana) had overtaken Elvis Presley as the highest earning dead celebrity. According to forbes.com, Cobain's work earned $50m in the 12 months to October 2006, compared with Presley's $42m. Former The Beatles member John Lennon earned $35m.
. so you poked God, you liked John Lennon's status, you argued a little with Kurt Cobain on his wall.and now you wonder what's weird about your life.
John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Slash, Elvis, Ozzy and more stars with their families
Jim Morrison and Michael Jackson got a film made about their life when they'd died. Where is Kurt Cobain or John Lennon's film then?
If anyone wants a copy of my music Demo, just let me know! I'll get you one! With features from John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Biggie Smalls, and Tupac! Just kidding, they never returned my calls...
Dear God, we'll give you 1D, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber and Pitbull in exchange for John Lennon, The Rev, Kurt Cobain and Freddy Mercury. :)
John Lennon and Kurt Cobain die but Steven Tyler lives? I'm starting to have my doubts.
The best rocker is the dead rocker. For example; John Lennon,Elvis Presley,Kurt Cobain,Jimi Hendrix...

Today is Blasphemy Day. So here it goes: The Star Wars prequels were better than the original films. Harry Potter is an unoriginal Christ allegory that lacks moral justification. The Jurassic Park films were better than the books. Star Trek: Enterprise was the best of the ST series. Stephenie Meyer is a brilliant author. Yoko Ono was the best thing to ever happen to John Lennon. Jar Jar Binks is awesome. M*A*S*H was overrated. Steve Bartman did the right thing. Aerosmith could not have been better than when they were sober. Justin Beiber is the next Kurt Cobain. Cabernet goes great with trout. Brandy and water make an excellent cocktail. Caviar should be eaten with silver spoons. Stevie Nicks was the worst thing to ever happen to Fleetwood Mack.
Dear lord, You can have Justin Bieber, Rebecca Black, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers and Selena Gomez. But can we have Elvis, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, Tupac and Dimebag Darrel back please?
i wish i could have met John Lennon and Kurt Cobain
My 5 ideal dinner party guests would be Lisa left eye lopez because she was spiritual like me, John Lennon speaks for itself, Kurt Cobain a legend, Shane McGowan to keep the drinks flowing and Fernando Torres 2 explain the offside rule!! :-) x
How come David Gilmour, Kurt Cobain, Thom Yorke or John Lennon never trend while Justin Bieber and The Jonas Brothers always do ?!!
I am watching how our CIA was hypnotizing people, and turning them into Manchurian agents or assassins as far back as 1955. Through this process, people were completely oblivious to their other personality. They said it could even stand up to interrogation, because the main personality is unaware of the dormant personality that the CIA could call forward at any time. So, let's go forward, and see how it was used. John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., George Wallace (Nixon's opponent in 1968 primaries), Malcom X, John Lennon, Gabby Giffords, the Colorado Theater. If you can make someone kill someone else, you can certainly make them kill themselves, Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, John Bonham, Keith Moon, Brian Jones. The influential music that teaches the world to think for itself instead of accepting the myths of reality the Republicans push on us appears to be a threat to the most criminal organization the world has ever seen, ...
With the exception of John Lennon this list is pathetic
However, the top 7 on NME's Ultimate Icon list includes John Lennon, Alex Turner, Kurt Cobain and Jimi Hendrix. This pleases me.
dear god, if you will give us back John Lennon, Kurt Cobain Layne Staley and tupac we will gladly give you Lady Gaga, Justin Beiber, Lil Wayne and isnt about time you took Cher. I mean really.
Everybody dies love, even legends like John Lennon Kurt Cobain Michael Jackson.
John Lennon , Liam Gallagher, David Bowie, Alex Turner and Kurt Cobain named top 5 rock's ultimate stars. You're not wrong.
How stupid is this poll!? The Greatest Rock Icon in the period of NME's existence was righteously declared to be John Lennon. Nice one. Except look at who he beat, and shake your head in bewilderment. Liam Galagher SECOND? OMG... "Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher came second in the poll, with David Bowie in third and Alex Turner in fourth. Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain came fifth, Amy Winehouse came sixth, with Jimi Hendrix in seventh place. Morrissey ranked in eighth place, with Noel Gallagher in ninth and Ian Curtis in 10th place. Over 160,000 votes were cast in the poll, which ran for over six months and has taken place to celebrate NME’s 60th birthday."
R.I.P 2pac 1971-1996, seems like the good die young especially the ones who inspire and affect people profoundly with there words of wisdom, he spoke for a generation and had a brilliant mind that was silenced , before he really reached his full potential, alive or dead he joined a club of other legendary artistic and brilliant mind who were here for a short time yet affected so many people with there philosophy, charisma, and artistic talents... he was to rap what John Lennon and Kurt Cobain are and were to rock...R.I.P 2pac u fell victim to the streets but rest your head cause in your case there's a heaven for a G.
Music would be so much better if Kurt Cobain never committed suicide, if John Lennon wasn't shot and if Freddie Mercury never died of aids.
Dear God In exchange for one direction please could you give us Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Freddie Mercury, George Harrison and John Lennon
Who are your heroes? — John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Noel Fielding, Heaps of people idk! xx...
So, I am walking down the street in The City and some guy just asked me if he looked like Kurt Cobain & John Lennon if they had short hair... I said, "a little bit".
Never watch TV during the day but night duty beckons otherwise. Turned on Max and laughed my head off- "Top 50: R.I.P."- hilarious. Karen Carpenter at No. 36 presently. Talk about desperato for a genre or theme! Could pretty well guess the top 2 - Kurt Cobain / Freddy Mercury / John Lennon/
I would swap Nicki Minaj, Rebecca Black and Justin Bieber for Joe Strummer, Kurt Cobain, and John Lennon.
My buddy Matt posted a tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughn, who died 22 years ago today. It got me thinking about musicians that we lost too soon. So here's the question: For you, who are the musicians that died in your lifetime, and in turn you feel the world most missed out on the music they would have still created? Mine would be (in no particular order): Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Lennon, Jeff Buckley, Bob Marley, Kurt Cobain, and Randy Rhodes.
Dear God: Can the human species please trade Kurt Cobain, Aaliyah, and John Lennon for Lil Wayne, Riff Raff, and Rebecca Black? Thank you.
Give us John Lennon, Kurt Cobain and Janis Joplin. We will give you Justin Beiber, One Direction and Lady Gaga
I just found out that Kurt Cobain was a John Lennon fan. I have always loved both of them.
1. Daniel Sulzbach is one of my idols. Another being Christofer Drew Ingle. But John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, and Kurt Cobain will always be my inspirations.
When I die, I hope I can finally see a concert headlined by John Lennon, George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Syd Barrett, Keith Moon, Jim Morrison, and Frank Zappa -- with follow up performances by Kurt Cobain, Bon Scott, John Bonham, Brian Jones, both Tim and Jeff Buckley, Elliott Smith, Hillel Slovak, Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, Joe Strummer, and the complete Ramones. There could also be a freestyling group with Tupac, Biggie, Jam Master Jay, and Ad Rock, as well as a jazz combo with Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Max Roach, Paul Chambers, Bill Evans, and Monk. *** that would be worth seeing.
Dear god, please can we have John Lennon, George Harrison, the Rev, Paul Gray and Kurt Cobain back? We'll give you Nicki Minaj and jessie j..
i wish Jim Morrison was still alive. and Janis Joplin. and Jimi Hendrix. and John Lennon. and George Harrison. and Kurt Cobain. and and and

When people compare Kurt Cobain with John Lennon. No just no, Lennon is Lennon and Cobain is Cobain, you can't compare.
I have huge posters of Ronnie Radke, Kurt Cobain, and John Lennon above my bed.
Chillin at home with Kurt Cobain. We still dont know what John Lennon and George Harrison are laughing about, but im sure its something to do with what Freddy Mercury sang about Michael Jackson earlier today. :)
Ask yourself this Q. In their prime What would John Lennon, Joe Strummer and Kurt Cobain and John Peel think of today's daytime radio1 ?
Last night I had a dream I was hanging out with Kurt Cobain, he told me to keep singing because I have a good voice. It wasn't one of those dreams where the people disappear either.. He was with me the whole night. He was a very Nice Guy. He's the second musical influence that has visited me in my dreams from beyond the grave. Him and Peter Steele. All I need now is for John Lennon to pop in and talk to me. Is it a sign? I think so. :)

And similarly with the anniversaries of Kurt Cobain, Elliott Smith, Michael Jackson and John Lennon's deaths
If you could either bring back to life Kurt Cobain, Freddy Mercury or John Lennon, who would it be and why? :DD
"I worship people who survive." - John Lennon in response to those (like Kurt Cobain) who would rather burn out than fade away.
Muhammad Ali, Malcom X, Andre 3000, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, Dalai Lama, Nas, And Tupac are the people I admire and look up too.
1. You don't need anybody to tell you who you are or what you are. You are what are! - by John Lennon 2. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not. - by Kurt Cobain 3. Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are. - by Kurt Cobain 4. A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself. - by Jim Morrison 5.Where's your will to be weird? - by Jim Morrison
Is Michael Jacksons death really the most tragic moment in music history? Michael raped a little boy! Kurt Cobain or John Lennon should of been first.
Everyone hypin' about holograms for other dead 'stars'. Unless it's Elvis, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon or Notorious BIG, idc.
This paper isn't going as bad as I thought. So far I've used John Lennon, Anthony Kiedis, and Kurt Cobain as sources
Let's trade Justin Bieber, Adam Lambert and Katy Perry and get Freddie Mercury, John Lennon and Kurt Cobain back please?
In light of the recent (and highly impressive) bringing back to life of 2pac via hologram I would like to submit my list of candidates: 1. John Lennon 2. Kurt Cobain 3. Mark Bolan 4. Freddie Mercury 5. Johnny Cash
No disrespect to Tupac but I want to see a hologram of Jimi, Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, Elvis, Cash, Kurt Cobain, or John Lennon
Now that they have this technology. They need to bring back. John Lennon, Elvis Presley. Jimi Hendrix. Randy Rhodes. Bob Marley& Kurt Cobain
After rumour is John Lennon, Amy Winehouse, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain will headline Splendour in the Grass...
Mad respect for 2pac but they should have made holograms of John Lennon, Freddie Mercury, Jim Morison, Jimi Hendrix, or Kurt cobain first.
What if they did that with Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Freddie Mercury, MJ, Eric Carr & all my other boyfriends.
such a trip to see. I wanna see Freddie Mercury, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, and Jimi Hendrix like this.
If they brought back 2Pac in hologram form then they should bring back Kurt Cobain, Freddie Mercury, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, etc.
why you take MJ, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, and Put JB, 1D, Jonas Brother? God: Because I dont want Listen Horrible Song in Heaven.
Well I would be willing to see these people as holograms: Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Biggie I guess.
ugh life isn't fair, all the good people go dying, like John Lennon, Kurt Cobain etc. ridiculous.
Imagine if Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Robert Johnson and Kurt Cobain were alive today.
If I could be a mix of Joe Strummer, Eddie Vedder, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, Bob Marley, and Layne Staley. I would be so happy with life.
Who cares how old Kurt Cobain or John Lennon would be this year. Everybody who's dead would be an age this year.
Can u picture Kurt Cobain or John Lennon getting advice from Tommy Hilfiger and Stevie Nicks? Me neither
I have more than one, here's a few: Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Layne Staley, and Bob Marley
Oh, Berry! If I could get a hug by a dead rock star, I would pick John Lennon or Kurt Cobain.
I'll ever get 2 meet Kurt Cobain.. Bruce Lee.. Michael Jackson.. John Lennon.. Elizabeth Taylor & all my favorite passed friends
