Won't allow me to highlight what I wrote or any of those pics huh FB?? What's wrong? You don't like the truth? You can't handle the truth??? I post it three times and I can't highlight any of them. Well let's make sure this message goes out. Do not let us be divided by our FEW differences but let us be united by our MANY common goals and common interests. We all love the same things thus there is no reason to be divided and only reason to be united. My heart still goes out to everyone that lost a family member on that horrid day. Sitting there with my Father watching the second plane hit tower two. It didn't take long till I was crying. All those that truly loved what America is and stands for lost someone that day because we love our nation and the citizenry of our nation. However we gained something that day and that is the sense of unity and working in one accord. Let this not only be on this day but every day. Let this not only be for this cause but for all of our causes. What is that cause? Freed ...

The blue-eyed boy of American politics, Kennedy steered America through the Bay of Pigs Invasion and the Cuban Missile Crisis. He paved the way for the moon landings and Marilyn Monroe sang for him at his birthday. When Kennedy was shot in 1963, the nation went into mourning. Though Lee Harvey Oswald was charged with the crime, controversy remains about who shot JFK. • 1917: John Fitzgerald "Jack" Kennedy was born • 1940: Graduated from Harvard University • 1941: Enlisted for military service • 1943: Won the Navy and Marine Corps Medal for heroic conduct after a Japanese attack • 1953: Elected Senator of Massachusetts. Marries Jacqueline Lee Bouvier • 1961: Elected President of the USA, at age 43. Orders the Bay of Pigs Invasion of Cuba • 1962: Negotiated the removal of Soviet nuclear weapons in Cuba in the Cuban Missile Crisis • 1963: Assassinated in Dallas. OK Dan I'll give my 11 -- I'm sitting here bored to death on a Sunday night in my office. A bit of shameless narcissism in play here. 1) I can't swim -- or more to the point I won't go over my head. I've nearly drowned three times, and was once resuscitated. 2) I had perfect attendance from the second day of first grade all the way through high school. I missed my very first day of 1st grade due having the bug along with my sister Brenda. I was late 3 to four days a week however. I've never called into work sick, although I've called in for other reasons. Never stayed in a hospital overnight. 3) The best decision I've EVER made was asking my wife to marry me. 4) Never been to Disneyland and only to Florida once. 5) My mother found out she was pregnant with me; in leaving the doctor's office a few minutes later -- she was told by the cab driver that JFK had just been shot. I am named after JFK -- my real name is John Fitzgerald. 6) For reasons I've not quite figured out -- I really, really like the ...

Irish cadets who performed at JFK funeral to offer final salute In this Nov. 25, 1963 file photo, an Irish cadet honor guard, center rows with arms outstretched, stand in formation as the U.S. flag is lifted from the coffin of President John F. Kennedy during his funeral services at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. / AP Photo For hours the young cadets waited, standing at attention by the freshly dug grave - a striking tableau in their crisp green tunics and brown breeches, rifles by their sides. Fifty years later, they still remember how those hours felt like an eternity, the muffled beat of the distant drums growing steadily louder as the funeral procession crossed the Potomac River and entered Arlington National Cemetery. They were closer to the grave than anyone, this specially chosen honor guard about to deliver the performance of their lives. Opposite, a phalanx of press photographers from around the world jostled for position, training cameras on the 27 soldiers as reporters asked, "Wh ...
I want to talk also about protection from the demonic. How to stay free! Free from those spiritual attacks of the enemy of your soul. There is a way to protect your heart. And of course it is with the word of God. That is how I am able to live in the midst of turmoil, and sorcery, and corruption in government and stay absolutely free. My feet are beautiful! It's John Fitzgerald Kennedy! You're correct, don't even bother dig the element of surprise! Duh
On June 4, 1963, a virtually unknown Presidential decree, Executive Order 10, was signed with the authority to basically strip the Bank of its power to loan money to the United States Federal Government at interest. With the stroke of a pen, President Kennedy declared that the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank would soon be out of business. The Christian Law Fellowship has exhaustively researched this matter through the Federal Register and Library of Congress. We can now safely conclude that this Executive Order has never been repealed, amended, or superceded by any subsequent Executive Order. In simple terms, it is still valid. When President John Fitzgerald Kennedy - the author of Profiles in Courage -signed this Order, it returned to the federal government, specifically the Treasury Department, the Constitutional power to create and issue currency -money - without going through the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank. President Kennedy's Executive Order 10 [the full text is displayed further below ...

The Republican legend BY ALFREDO LEUCO Tomorrow marks exactly the 50 anniversary of the assumption of the doctor Arturo Humberto Illia as President of the nation. Why it is worth retell as forged this true Republican legend. He became President on October 12, 1963, the same year in which the world is touched by the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy and wept for the death of the good Pope, Juan XXIII. Perhaps it wasn't a coincidence. The same day that Juan XXIII died was born as a good President Illia. Today all placed them on the altar of the founding fathers of democracy. Just give any figures to take dimension of what was their Government. The gross domestic product (GDP) in 1964 grew 10.3% and in 1965 the 9.1%. "Chinese rates", we would say now. In the previous two years, the country had not grown, had negative numbers. That year the unemployment was 6.1%. It took 23 million dollars of Central Bank reserves and when he left there were 363. It seems from another planet. It promulgated the minimum ...

Hugh Glass 1783?-1833 It is not known what Hugh Glass had done before he appeared in the Rocky Mountains as a fur trader. He was thought to be a seafarer, possibly even a pirate who came west. He was known for his wilderness skills. In 1823, he joined the Major Andrew Henry expedition to the upper Missouri. He was scouting with some others when he came between a female grizzly bear and her two cubs. He was severely injured, slashed from head to foot. He was bleeding profusely. It was not a matter of if he would die but when. The other members of his party carried him on a litter for several days waiting for him to die, but he still held on. Now came a decision. They were going through dangerous Indian country. They couldn't jeopardize the entire party for one man. So two men would stay behind with him, young Jim Bridger, and a man named John Fitzgerald. Finally after a week it looked like he had died, showing no signs of life. So Bridger and Fitzgerald packed up to go, taking Glass's gun and gear. But som ...

A 5-0 start was interrupted with a 21-17 loss to the Cardinals, with the Falcons and Redskins contributing to the L column later. Seventies nemesis Los Angeles booted the ‘Boys from the postseason 14-12 in Round 1 — derailing yet another potential Staubach-Stabler shootout. Not terribly gaudy stats, but lots of tools in this toolbox to potentially take them all the way. Offense: 42 Offensive line: 19. Another powerhouse performance, with young guard Herb Scott and center John Fitzgerald the only 3’s. Tackle Ralph Neely and guard Blaine Nye earn 4’s, while tackle Rayfield “Big Cat” Wright makes yet another Pro Bowl as a 5. Nye is also a Pro Bowler in his final season. No J-3s or J-4s. In a vestige from his early days ...
Read and performed "Conversation with the Sea" and "The Courtesan on the Parisian Balcony" tonight at Rapp Saloon Poetry Reading hosted by elena secota who created a wonderful Summer Solstice and Love themed event. A room full of inspirational talent with delicious beverages and treats. Deepest gratitude to Elena for a great night. I was seated between writer John Fitzgerald and actor Elliott Gould. My bike ride home under the full moon along the ocean bike path from Santa Monica to Venice was total bliss with "Light My Fire" by The Doors on repeat.

St Brendan's Senior League 2013 Round 4 St Pats 2-11 Ardfert 1-9 St. Pats had a well deserved win to maintain their unbeaten run in the St. Brendan’s League on a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-9. St. Pats opened the scoring with a Joe Costello point after two minutes and this was followed by another from David O’Callaghan after six minutes. St. Pats dominated with Michael O’Sullivan and Liam Poff controlling the middle of the field. Kieran Hurley pointed two frees in the 8th and 10th minutes after fouls on Gary Savage and Joe Costello. A great run through the middle by Adrian Greaney with an off load to Gary Savage who buried the ball in the net to leave St. Pats ahead 1 goal and 4 points to no score midway through the half. Ardfert were beginning to come more into the game and Stephen Wallace pointed two frees. The same player goaled in the 18th minute after John Fitzgerald parried a rasping shot. Gary Savage finished off a well worked move in the 25th minute to dispatch the ball to the Ardfert net. Andy B ...

Here is something that needs more attention: Obama’s ties to Rezko, Blagojevich, corruption Evelyn Pringle: Curtain Time for Obama — Part 2 Feds track Obama’s visits to Rezko In the media, Obama always made it sound like he rarely saw Rezko, saying they met for breakfast or lunch once or twice a year. However, the FBI mole John Thomas helped investigators “build a record of repeat visits to the old offices of Rezko and former business partner Daniel Mahru’s Rezmar Corp., at 853 N. Elston, by Blagojevich and Obama during 2004 and 2005,“ according to the February 10, 2008 Sun-Times. During his March 14, 2008 interview, the Times told Obama, Thomas is an FBI mole and he “recently told us that he saw you coming and going from Rezko’s office a lot.” “And three other sources told us that you and Rezko spoke on the phone daily.” “Is that true?” the reporter asked. “No,” Obama said, “That’s not accurate.” “I think what is true,” he said, “is that, it depends on the period ...

Well, you're probably familiar with what he created, though it might surprise you to learn that Butts was a bad speller. He created the iconic and still quite popular game Scrabble, which requires one to be adept at spelling. The inventor himself was admittedly not the best speller, often scoring only 300 points on average in a game of Scrabble. William Faulkner Faulkner wasn't a truly terrible speller, but if you take a look at his original manuscripts there are some definite errors the iconic Southern author wouldn't have wanted to see in print. Mary Immaculate 1-13 U.C.C 1-13 Tough conditions in the Tailteann welcomed a much favored U.C.C side to Limerick for Mary Immaculate's first Fitzgibbon Cup home encounter in just under a decade. The game started at an inter-county like pace and Mary I defenders struggled to hold there lines for the first ten minutes with Cork racing to a 1-6 to 5 point lead with Brian Hartnett breaking through the defence after ten minutes to slot home a neat finish. Each side had their periods of dominance during the first half. The Reverend John Fluff was the pastor in a small town in Ireland. One day he was walking down the high street when he noticed a young lady of his congregation sitting in a pub drinking beer. He walked through the open door of the pub and sat down next to the woman. “Miss Fitzgerald,” he said sternly. “This is no place for a member of my congregation. Why don’t you let me take you home”. “Sure!” she said with a slur, obviously very drunk. When Miss Fitzgerald stood up from the bar, she began to weave back and forth. The Reverend realized that she’d had far too much to drink and grabbed her arms to steady her. When he did, they both lost their balance and tumbled to the floor. After a few moments, the Reverend wound up on top of Miss Fitzgerald, her skirt hiked up to her waist. The pub barkeeper looked over and said. “Oy mate, we won’t have any of that carrying on in this pub.” The Reverend looked up at the landlord and said, “But you don’t understand. I’m Pastor Fluff. ”The b ...

Music of the day: 1) Cole Porter compilation CD (featuring Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Dinah Washington to name a few). 2) White Stripes "Elephant" CD (always). 3) Tinariwen "Tassili" CD (Listen up). 4) Rolling Stones "Exile on Main St." (YES). Now listening to some Devil Makes Three on youtube. The music of the day would be almost complete if I could just find where I put my Nirvana unplugged in New York, and my BLUES compilation CD featuring Mississippi Sheiks, John Hurt, Leroy Carr, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Howlin' Wolf, and Furry Lewis among others. Where o where could I have put them? Nothing kills the blues better than listening to some Blues.

You don't represent nothing, you're just pretending, When was the last time you ever played Hendrix? Or Miles Davis, or John Coultrain, or Ella Fitzgerald, or Billie Holliday; We can call it urban, to me that's cool, If urban means street, that includes jazz too, and rock for that matter Go ask *** Jagger or Jimmy Page what they were listening to - the blues Not discrediting love Zeppelin too; just giving credit where credit is due

Advice on writing from Rainer Maria Rilke: “Beware of general themes. Cling to those that your everyday life offers you. Write about your sorrows, your wishes, your passing thoughts, your belief in anything beautiful. Describe all that with fervent, quiet, and humble sincerity. In order to express yourself, use things in your surroundings, the scenes of your dreams, and the subjects of your memory.” ~ excerpt from 'Letters to a Young Poet
