I hate to disappoint all you fans of "THE BIBLE" TV series but this is a farce! Watch it with your bible in your lap.there is hardly NO bible dialogue coming out of their mouths! They went out of their way to make it as "culturally correct" as they could! But when you have Joel Osteen and Rick Warren on your consult team...what do you expect!

Rick Warren, Joel Osteen and the infamous Glen Beck have endorsed this work - but the History Channel? Increasingly The History Channel has been catering to the Religious Right, and this is a blatant example.

The new History Channel TV mini-series "Bible" depicts Samson as a black man with dreadlocks, played by Nonso Anozie, and worse, it commits Biblical revisionist sacrilege by having the Philistines, as the bad guys, say that the two races should not mix and spins their animosity towards Samson as being racism motivated by his love for Delilah, who is played by Kierston Wareing, a White British actress. Judeo Megachurch pastors Joel Osteen and Rick Warren are enthusiastically promoting this filth. The History Channel, of course, is owned by Jews, but this particular show is produced by Judeo-"Christian" Zionist goyim. Ya know...I've wondered ALL MY LIFE...why my dad's church in San Antonio...has NEVER had more than 4 or 5 families in its congregation. Ever. I see Max Lucado's "campuses" down the freeway. I see Joel Osteen's smugy *** face in Houston. I lived down the street from Rick Warren's massive church in Saddleback. My dad was an associate pastor in Robert Schuller's Crystal Cathedral holy theme park... But why is my dad, my rail-thin, disease-ridden dad...even among his brothers and brother-in-laws...the ONLY guy bringing in less income than his debt-ridden, "mentally disabled" second son?

I wasn't interested in watching the new "Bible" miniseries, but because a few folks have told family members, "It's really good!", I decided to look into it. I watched a little bit of it last night and listened to some more of it this morning. It is garbage. But I didn't really have to watch or listen to it to know that, once I knew who three of the main consultants (contributors?) were: -Rick Warren, who consistently twists Scripture to get it to mean whatever he wants it to mean instead of teaching what it really means -Joel Osteen, whose teaching infers he has never actually read the Bible -TD Jakes, a health and wealth prosperity heretical preacher who denies the Biblical doctrine of the Trinity Don't watch the "Bible" miniseries expecting accurate Biblical theology.

Rev.2:4 - Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. This admonition was not written to an apostate church. It was written to a church which could not abide heretics in their midst. This was a church that would have rejected Rob Bell or Rick Warren or Joel Osteen. They did labor for Christ; they did have a missions program; they did see people saved; they did observe communion and baptism; they did believe God’s Word. But the Spirit said they had left their first love. Wow, what an indictment from God.

Here's a question (if you know the answer without thinking keep it to yourself, this is meant to be both educational and thought provoking at the same time): what do you get when you cross Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, and the History Channel?

Think if you just have "enough faith" God is going to REWARD YOU? If you listen to the likes of Joel or Victoria Osteen, Rick Warren, TD Jakes, ETC or watched the Bible "movie" you might think that is the Christian message, but in reality the reward IS FAITH because it is by GRACE through FAITH IN Christ's and His finished Work that a man is saved! God GIVES the FAITH, THE REPENTANCE, THE SALVATION. All of these are GIFTS FROM HIM to the lowly sinner. What do you think about the 'History Channel's' mini-series "The Bible"?? Do you honestly believe that this series bears any similarity to True Biblical Reality?? [Note: If you actually believe 'Rick Warren' and 'Joel Osteen' and T.D.Jakes' are actually true Biblical Christians, and qualified and capable of honest 'consultation' on 'Sound Biblical Doctrine', then my question is obviously MOOT? If you are a True Biblical Christian, then you obviously realize this entire program is a SHAM, and specifically designed to MALIGN, and DISCREDIT, and OBSCURE the Truth of The Bible.

For a long time now it has mystified me at the number of people, pastor’s and lay persons alike, who was raised in old time Pentecost, have now have turned to false prophets such as Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, T. D. Jakes, Joyce Meyer, Beth Moore, Oprah, and several others, for their inspiration! After much wonderment I have finally come to the conclusion this is the result of two things: (1) They have lost their first love and are now lukewarm, or (2) even though they have preached and taught for years and years, they only have head knowledge of the Word of God, and are carrying on in the flesh and not the Spirit. In either case, it is so sad to see so much of this in our supposedly Pentecostal churches.

I see a lot of hype about the "Bible" series on History Channel. Two of the main "pastors" that were consulted for the History Channel series "The Bible" are Rick Warren and Joel Osteen, who both are unbiblical in their teachings. They are really just motivational speakers who use Jesus as a footnote. The producers of "The Bible" are also the same producers of the "reality" show Survivor. What I'm getting at is don't expect Biblical accuracy or accuracy in the character of GOD and/or Jesus Christ, just expect to be entertained more than anything.

Friend, make sure you're listening to the right gospel. When presenting the gospel, Joel Osteen, pastor of the largest congregation in America, leaves this part out. Rick Warren leaves it out. I am astonished. I have bought books by all of them. But I could never get myself to finish reading them. I am gonna burn them. I won't give them to anyone I would be just misleading just as much as they were. Scary. Thank You Lord! I was even in bible studies with some of the books. How embarrassing. I am kinda mad at myself that I didn't look into verifying the authors validity, and kinda mad at former leadership for the same reasons. But all is forgiven. Great message - and yes, it is something that is sadly missing from many churches these days. I really enjoyed this guy - and it was cool hearing the word being shared in another country (India).
