People such as, Joel Osteen, Charles Stanley, Andy Stanley, Joyce Meyer, are the farthest things from Christian. They open the bible and tell you what it doesn't say. I'm not trying to be mean, but I care too much for people who place value in such hypocritical figures. Rather than listen to them, read your own bible, and not rely on people who are preaching for fame and checks. They pose more threat to christianity than Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Haris (Atheist) ever wwill.

For a long time now it has mystified me at the number of people, pastor’s and lay persons alike, who was raised in old time Pentecost, have now have turned to false prophets such as Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, T. D. Jakes, Joyce Meyer, Beth Moore, Oprah, and several others, for their inspiration! After much wonderment I have finally come to the conclusion this is the result of two things: (1) They have lost their first love and are now lukewarm, or (2) even though they have preached and taught for years and years, they only have head knowledge of the Word of God, and are carrying on in the flesh and not the Spirit. In either case, it is so sad to see so much of this in our supposedly Pentecostal churches.

To keep our mind on good & positve things we must read our bibles everyday & other uplifting books or materials such as Max Lucado , Joel Osteen,Joyce Meyer's Inspirational books. Well, the Dream Conference is over - I'm exausted but came out with some new ideas. Being able to see and listen to Joel Osteen was a real treat. He reminded us that what may be our darkest hour, might actually be the brightest. God sends adversity to get us where we need to be and as we stay faithful, we may actually be building our future. Today was an especially long day as this morning I had to drive to Tuscon to the memorial service of a long-time friend. Since her passing, all these memories - things I thought I had forgotten have all come rushing back as I remember the things we did together and endless conversations we enjoyed. Life is way too short and the loss of a friend is a reminder that life is not about "things" but family and friends. After the memorial - I drove back to Phoenix for the remainder of the conference. Next week Joyce Meyers is in town and a gathering of Jewish leaders to remember and pray for Israel - so next week may be busy as well - guess it keeps me out of trouble!

I prefer Joyce Meyers and Joel Osteen to Creflo Dollar and Eddie Long! Here are just SOME of the differences. Joyce Meyers doesn't ask you to send a set amount for most of her teaching and items. She asks that people send whatever they have to offer... and, that those that 'have not' send what they have and she will STILL send them information... and that those who 'have' send more for those who can't give more. I applaud that! She does some things that I might not care for, but at least she doesn't seem to try to bankrupt the people who want to hear what she has to preach. Now, here's the difference between her and Creflo Dollar. Creflo has been known to ask to see your w-2s to make sure that you're tithing correctly. That's raggedy to me. But, that's just MY OPINION! you know I watch pastors on TV and I am touched by some deeply, espcecially Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyers and Creflo Dollar. But when I tune in to the end of some broadcast and someone is trying to sell me a book how to pray effectively and he has a PHD and a lot of other letters behind his name I laugh. I pray like a farmer, speaking directly to God, not formally but as a friend. I don't think I need to buy a book to talk to God.

But there's no reason to pick at people who believe a little different than you and call them demonic or satanic. I consider myself a pretty positive person. But I took this past weeks to look at myself in 3rd person. To really "observe" myself. I was shocked how many negative things I was saying. I didn't even realize it. I was sayin: I am so tired. I'm never gonna get this work done on time. I can't believe our managers expect us to get all this work done, last time I checked we don't walk on water.(Ooooh I say that one alot!!) I should have been saying, I feel good, it's good to be alive. I CAN get this work done, one step at a time. I CAN do all things through Christ, who gives me strength to endure all. I really love Joel Osteen. Probably my favorite minister. and Joyce Meyer as well as Kenneth Copeland and there are others but lately I've been watching a lot of this man, Creflo Dollar. He's amazing. Not meaning to sound in any way prejudice but I never really cared much for a lot of black ministers cause they start hollering and jumping around a bit much for me. But Creflo is different, he's a very humble servant of God.

Wayne Voss The Lord gave us great favor in Honduras this trip. We were able to preach the Gospel to many thousands of people by television and radio, in the nightly church services, and on the city streets and dirt roads of Honduras. We ministered on the radio for four hours straight with China being one of its largest listening audiences. We preached the Message of the Cross and dealt strongly with the false religion of Catholicism by using a verse of Scripture found in John 2:5. We dealt strongly with the error being preached by false teachers such as Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, and Kenneth Copeland. We traveled to remote villages in some of the highest mountains where we were able to look down upon the clouds, and even there we found people hungry for the Truth of Word of God. There was no electricity on this mountain ...

Today we will be preparing for tomorrow when the baking begins. I feel so blessed. Had a great time in Houston seeing Joyce Meyer for three days. Put all I'm going through in perspective. Nothing like driving to Houston for a spiritual healing with Joyce, and getting a call from one of my children cussing me out. The devil certainly knows how to reak havioc. Anything that could go wrong on the way there went wrong, but we got there and after the experience we had in the name of our Lord, I'll never be the same. Added bonus = venue was Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church!!

Day 16 Sometimes in life we face difficulties that we really don't know the best way to handle. Praying for guidance and wisdom and also studying the bible is greatly important. Seeking wise council whether it be a pastor, deacon, or any other Christian or someone who has had the same struggle as you is also a wise thing to do. But one other thing that I find VERY encouraging is to read books that address the issue that I am facing. So today I am thankful for all of the authors who have inspired me to keep striving to be the best that I can be. Max Lucada, Joel Osteen, Beth Moore, Joyce Meyer, John Gray, Phil McGraw, Dave Ramsey, Willard F. Harley, Iyanla Vanzant, and so many more have each touched my life and help me to be stronger in my daily walk as a Christian. I'm thankful for their guidance!!

Arrived home today from Cathy Walters and my trip to Houston Texas. What an amazing trip! The Joyce Meyer conference was fantastic. She is such an inspiration to listen to!! We were very lucky at all three meetings and got seats on the floor section, 9 rows from the front in the middle!! Unbelievable with thousands of people there. Lakewood Church is huge; and all the people there truly welcome you like you are family. We went to their Saturday night service to listen to Joel Osteen preach; and when we told them we had never been there before, they took us right down front to the third row. Watched the service surrounded by Joels family members! Amazing! After the service we met him and had the opportunity to thank him for all he does. It meant a lot to me to be able to tell him that he was the one that brought me back to Christ. Nathan Akerley drove over from Biloxi so we were able to spend time visiting and sightseeing with him as well. The whole trip was truly a blessing!!

Speaking positively over your life and not letting those negative thoughts change your attitude. It's so important to surround yourself with positive people who speak victory over you. Happiness is contagious so spread it around. Sadly, negativity is contagious too if you're around it long enough. When you get around a Debbie Downer or a Complaining Carl who always talk about the horrible things in life it has a way of stealing a little of your joy. Don't let it! For my fellow Christians: be aware of God's false prophets. Any preacher who is overt about prosperity theology is a schyster, plain and simple. I see "pastor" Mike Murdock preach on CBN from time to time, and to be honest, the man sickens me. Joyce Meyer and Joel Osteen believe in this false ideology as well, but both actually help people in need. Belief should be intrinsic, i.e. believe in God and Jesus because it gives you hope, not reward. Also, atheists don't understand religion at all. In reality, they're bitter because they overanalyze everything and try to give everything a label. Realize something: for all the science and "fact" that you believe to know, in reality, it amounts to a grain of sand on a beach. God is the beach. I could also go into Quantum Mechanics here and talk about the fourth dimension and God being outside of time and space... yada, yada, yada. But I've got homework and a volunteering thing tomorrow, so I'll argue the merits of God and QM another time.

I just did some mini research...prompted by something Pastor Steve Brown said last night about false prophets & false teachings. Look up on YouTube, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, Rick Warren. I am astonished. I have bought books by all of them. But I could never get myself to finish reading them. I am gonna burn them. I won't give them to anyone I would be just misleading just as much as they were. Scary. Thank You Lord! I was even in bible studies with some of the books. How embarrassing. I am kinda mad at myself that I didn't look into verifying the authors validity, and kinda mad at former leadership for the same reasons. But all is forgiven. Thank You Lord, for lifting the veil from me. I also want to thank you for, not allowing me to get very far into any of those books & making me not want to read these books. I know that when I got those books, I was not a in a place at those times that I would have been aware of the false teachings. Thank you Lord for protecting me!

I just experienced one of the my life's greatest women conferences ever! The Joyce Meyer 30th Anniversary women's conference held in St. Louis , MO over the weekend. What more could I ask for? Hillsong Church's Worship Leader,Darlene Zschech, Madisa (what a voice and woman after God's own heart, Kari Jobe, Incredible lineup. Speakers: Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, and Christine Caine.. AMAZING! Weekend. Thanks to my kids Amber and Josh for sending me away. Came at a much needed time in my life. You both know that God is my Love. and you both are right behind Him. I love you both more than you will ever know. BAM!

Just got back from taking Beth to the airport in St. Louis - (sad) - but we had an incredible weekend together at the Joyce Meyer Love Life convention!! Joel Osteen was a guest speaker on Thurs. and Mandisa entertained us Friday night. Lots of "Hope" and joy was experienced and will carry on for quite sometime. Over 27,000 women were in attendance but we were ONE in God's love!! We celebrated Beth's birthday last night (B'day the 27th) but it was great to share the weekend with her!

hm back home Joyce Meyers brought home some good stuff ! so needed a refeshing saw a few people I knew from home 27 '000 woman under one roof to praise and worship their God , pretty awesome ! Going to register for next yr going to be another good one next yr Ron's favorite group. Jesus Culture , Natalie Grant ? and others Thinking I will have to try and get Ron in as an usher oh and Joel Osteen! awesome how they all preached every thing you have been praying about if you didn't know better you would believe they had been hiding out in your house .

27,000 women attended the women's conference this weekend. Thursday night was my favorite with Joyce Meyer and Joel Osteen but today was amazing too with Christine Caine. Mandesa was great last night also. So many great memories!!

The Joyce Meyer"s 30th Conference Celebration was awesome! The Holy Spirit was present all weekend. Made some great new friends. Enjoyed some wonderful worship and heard some great word from Joyce, Christine Cain and Joel Osteen.

Greetings from St. Louis! Great first night at the Joyce Meyer conference. Music, then Joyce spoke briefly, followed by Joel Osteen (they have been friends for 30 years!). He was so down to earth, sharing principles about how much God loves us and wants good things for us, how He can overcome any adversity and work it for good in our lives (Rom. 8:28)... it may take longer than we want - usually does. He got very teary and emotional several times while sharing... his wife, Victoria, came out and shared too. Very special.

Having a amazing time with my sis and 25,000 other God loving ladies at the Joyce Meyer Conference..Kari Jobe sang and Joel Osteen preached last night :) what a light they are in this world. The world says there are many ways to heaven, but Jesus said "I am the Way the Truth and the Life."

Just got back from picking my cousin Myrtle up from the airport. She is spending a week with me. She came for the Joyce Meyers conferance this week, also Joel Osteen will be here at the conferance in St Louis. We are planning on having a great week. Wish you were all here with us!!

There are many arguments to biblical doctrine. What is biblical and what is not biblical? What is truth or what is false? Calvinism, Arminianism, predistination, free will, TULIP, Prosperity Gospel... It doesn't matter what Kenneth Copeland says, what John Piper says, what Joyce Meyer says, what Matt Chandler says, what Joel Osteen says, or what even your pastor says... It's what the Bible says, that matters! The Bible is biblical, the Bible is truth, the Bible is the ultimate authority! Learn how to read your Bible! Stop listening to people reading the Bible for you. Read God's word and let God minster to you! Amen!

Groomed for Greatness… A definition of groomed is “to prepare, as for a specific position or purpose.” Have you ever noticed that nearly every “great” preacher, pastor, bishop, and teacher of the Gospel has horrible things written and You-Tubed about them? I recently did a search and all of them, Pastor Joel Osteen, Pastor Paula White, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Pastor Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyer, Bishop Noel Jones, Pastor Benny Hinn, Sid Roth, Paul and Jan Croutch and many others, each have evil and demeaning things posted about them. I also remembered how Jesus was treated the same way. My point is, none of what people say has stopped any of these great men and women of God. They ignore the hellish comments and continue to fulfill their calling. If you happen to be going through this or something similar, don’t worry. You’re being “groomed for greatness”. You must learn how to do what these anointed men and women do, ignore it and focus on the things that God has called you to do. That ...

To my friends at Wooster Church of the Nazerene, I feel the Holy Spirit has layed on my heart a desire to start a ministry for girls and women to minister the Peace and Love of Christ to broken hearts. The ministry idea is very similar to Boys and Girls clubs of America except being based on Biblical teachings and principals. Activities would include Bible study and Prayer, healthy cooking, sewing (learning to make and mend your own clothes), basic housekeeping, community service, exercise, crafting (I make greeting cards and scrapbook and have bang tools and supplies to share) movie night and possibly game night. I would like to write such ministries as Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, T. D. Jakes, Kieth Moore and Joseph Prince and see if they could donate teachings and materials to be available in a library and listen to, watch during craft time. I feel that ages 10 and up would be the best age group. All would depend on donations (I have already had scrapbooking supplies donated for this very purpose!) Ever ...

Stir up the gift of God, this verse of scripture did not say motivate the flesh, it did not say come to a clearer way of thinking, it did not say purchase a new book from those televangelists *** that only sustain you for a season, and is only intended for the fliesh ie joyce meyer, joel osteen, etc etc. Stir up the gift means it is already there, it means you have to pay nothing to get it, you need no outside resource to stir it, You stir it take responsibility for your own gift, quit trying to pass your laziness off as it is the Pastor's fault or you need to get to that one convention and then everything will work out. Stir up the gift means if there is nothing going on, you are the one hindering your progress in the Spirit.

Went for my evening walk and spent it with God praying and talking, watched Joel Osteen, and now I am watching Joyce Meyer. Pretty fulfilling night I must admit. Something I am extremely grateful for... my time of worship. So healing...give it a whirl!

Man a big dose of Joyce Meyer today, along with T.D. Jakes, and Joel Osteen, I remember around 8 years ago I was at my worst, pain, operations, you name it, and one morning God spoke to me through this woman (Joyce) and life have never been the same, that was aroung 6.05 one morning, and she spoke today about Margin time , down time, me time, that time with God and God only, I do this today every morning 4.30a.m God and I, I treat me, enjoy me, love me, and rest me, then I get back to work serving God, God allows me to do this, say Amen to that, MARGIN TIME IS A MUST

I love TV evangelism as much as the next person. Joel Osteen, Joyce meyer. God wants you to stop looking at the TV going "mhm, thats right preach it brother" or "preach it sister" and saying "man I wish so and so was here so that they could get a little education on how to act. Boy, God's word is good today, I know the perfect person that this exact message needs to be delivered to". STOP!!! BE THE CHANGE that you expect in others. Always assume that the msg of the day was intended for you and stick that pride in your back pocket. I'm tired of people always wanting someone to change instead of themselves going the extra mile. As Christians, we need to work HARDER, not LESS. Stand up for the ignorant and the new believers by setting an example for them to follow. If we could change our thinking, we could change the world!

I don't know how many people out there has liked Joyce Meyers and Joel Osteen face book pages, but both have encourging statements and Bible verses throught the day and makes u see things differently and encourages u using GOD'S WORD. PRAISE THE LORD:) I would recommend liking them!

It's up to you to Change Your Life...it's not a sermon by Creflo Dollar, a radio program by Tony Evans, a tv show by Joel Osteen or a book by Joyce Meyer...it's you and you alone that has to make it happen.
