I turned on the tv this morning early, and who did I find? Well it was one of my favorite prosperity theives...Joel Osteen. I heard him talk about all the believer will receive in the cash, talent, things, and general material life sort of list. Of course, he has done well, considering the huge estate(s) and jet(s) that he has purchased with money taken from people that will never own their own jet. He never once in the entire sermon talked about being obedient to Yeshua and loving Him. His focus was on what you will receive from him by faith, and by the presumtious forking over of "seed money" to establish this faith. These television evangelists for the most part, and yes I will name TBN as one of the sources, promise prosperity if you give. Christ will always supply His own with what they need. He never, ever promises a jet plane and a mansion in this life. The scripture says give and it will come back full measure and overflowing. I wanted to point my friends and family towards a link on YouTube entitled "Are you a Victim or a Victor? A call for discernment" It was done by a man named Justin Peters. He is a very strong godly man, and he speaks of the Word of Faith movement. (Benny Hinn, Jesse Duplantis, Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer). It is an interesting take on what is taught in their churches versus what the Bible says and instructs. It was truly a wakeup call, and a clarity that I personally needed. I encourage you all to go to youtube and watch the video of his seminar at Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth. I have personally seen him do this seminar at my church at FBC in Farmersville,Texas. The video is about 51 minutes.

After checking out some videos on youtube about Joel Osteen Ministries and Joyce Meyer Ministries and even Benny Hinn Ministries I can already tell that my future will hold lots of arguments with religious people. The bible clearly states that you will know the true prophets from the False Prophets by their "fruit". These people are producing amazing things for God and their ministries are obviously prosperous. Sure we all have our faults, we were all sinners and we all fall short of the glory of God. But there's no reason to pick at people who believe a little different than you and call them demonic or satanic. I won't sit back when people start doing that to me and picking at tiny things I say, I'm definately going to stand my ground and prove my point.

Not only have they desacrilized what we believe but they have passed their distortions off as the truth of the gospel on large platforms for all to see and people like Meek Millz have no respect for the truth revealed within the pages of scriptures.

Over the past few weeks I have been troubled with concern about the "word of faith" movement that is snowballing amongst christians.I have to admit that until today I didn't know alot about it,or the "preachers" involved.After doing some investigating I must say that I am appaled at their doctrine.Many well named "preachers" involved are the likes of Joyce Meyer,Joel Osteen,Creflo Dollar,T.D. Jakes,Benny Hinn,and many more to just name a few,these are the more popular names.This doctrine is straight up HERESY!If these are some of the ones that you listen to or follow,I beg you to do some serious investigating and turn and run from their teaching as fast as you can!Do not take anything from this doctrine,for as it says in Galatians 5:9; "A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump".
