oh, hey, Joe Blanton struck out Jimmy Rollins
Well.I guess the phillies have waved the white flag for this season. Trading Shane Victorino and Hunter Pence to the Dodgers and Giants is a desperate move. I really don't see how the players that they get in return will help this team. I expect Joe Blanton to be traded as well as possibly Jimmy Rollins. To trade rollins would be a mistake in my opinion. But then..I'm just a baseball fan. It's not like the Philadelphia Phillies will listen to me.

Seriously. If the Phillies played like they did last night for the first 68 games of the season, it would be a totally different atomosphere in this city. Cole Hamels was excellent, Jimmy Rollins played his butt off, John Mayberry is making great swings, and Carlos Ruiz is still Carlos...
What a pick me up,after Jimmy Rollins' great play nailed Carlos Beltran at third.Molina homer chases Joe Blanton.
Jimmy Rollins just made the best play I have ever seen a Shortstop make. Perfect throw to get the runner at third. And of course, HEAVY B gives back a 6-0 lead. What a piece of garbage he is. He will pitch well, then he breaks your heart. I hate you Joe Blanton. I hate you very very much.

Lee allowed a season-high five runs today, his most since July 25, 2011 vs SD (5 runs). • Jimmy Rollins has reached base safely in each of his last 15 games (14 hits, 10 walks). It is the longest on-base streak by a Phillie this season. • Today’s attendance marked the 225th consecutive regular season sellout at Citizens Bank Park. • Josh Beckett has won consecutive starts for the first time this season and has posted a 0.61 ERA (1 ER, 14.2 IP) in that span.
