This is the word's most expensive guitar. It sold, at auction, for 2.7 million dollars, but technically brought in 3.7 million because the original purchaser donated it back for a second auction. Have to add David Gilmour , Alex Lifeson , Matthias Jabs and Steve Rothery ... from this list I choose Jimmy Page , Brian May and Randy Rhodes

Alright I played in a FB game with my Dad so I gotta come up with 11 things people might not know about me. 1. I have Asperger's syndrome, but most wouldn't notice at all. 2. I am extremely interested in 3D modeling. 3. I think The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad are extremely overrated (sue me!). 4. I find most red-head girls to be extremely attractive. 5. Despite their HUGE popularity, The Beatles really don't do it for me. Especially their first stuff, I like their more stoner-y stuff. 6. I love a lot of psychedelic music and art, but I really can't stand stoners. 7. My favorite Batman villain is Black Mask. 8. I still play a ton of PS1 games. 9. Despite my support of our military, I think the C.I.A are a bunch of dirty scumbags (Project MKUltra people!), excuse the expression. 10. Despite the great guitar heroes like Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen and the like, I still love David Gilmour the most. And Eric Clapton is amazing (but I really don't like listening to his music). 11. I am in the to ...
what if Paul Mccartney, Robert Plant, David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Roger Waters, Ringo Starr, and Jimmy Page got together to make an album?
I blame this list on the two guys listed in the title (and I already have a Bassist list) No particular order, mind you! (and liable to change in ten minute's time.) A list of favorites, not a "best of..." argumentative list! 1. Alan Holdsworth - great weird, wonderful bizarre, how does he make his hands do that? 2. Stanley Jordan - two handed, all-in-one, player -- saw him at Mt Hood Jazz Fest - he STOPPED everyone in the stadium 3. Ace Frehley - one of the two people who caused me to become a professional musician 4. Christopher Parkening - phenomenal classical guitarist - 5. Phil Keaggy - monster guitarist, and the first Christian pop guy I'd heard who had monster chops 6. Jimmy Page - I still hear what he's done and pull a Keanau Reeves: 'whoa" 7. Steve Howe - crazy silly prog rock parts, with such economical technique 8. David Gilmour - this guy can make music with ONE note 9. Alex Lifeson - amazing guitarist whose guitar parts are so wonderfully atypical - listen to any Rus ...
Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page or David Gilmour? If that question interests you then so might this...

It is with great pleasure that Halo introduce our new lead guitarist and backing vocalist Pedro Rodriguez Pedro Rodriguez is a Spanish chap who moved to London almost two years ago and he definitely brings Mediterranean spirit of the band. Pedro’s love of music is accredited in main to his father, who himself is a great lover of guitar music. Pedro admires any kind of music, in particular that which is made from the made from the heart "Rock is the most revolutionary music style of all times" he recalls. He refuses to bow to the competitiveness of the industry (keep Ego away from arts) and is aware that Rock music must be constituted of energy, sensitivity and harmony. Pedro's musical influence include: Santana, Jimmy Page, Robin Trower, David Gilmour, Raimundo Amador, Martin Barre, Jeff Beck... Guitarists, whose styles show themselves like they truly are, expressing truth and emotion through his instrument. Pedro uses PRS CE-24 1990 and Yamaha Pacifica 112V as electric guitars. You know 2-3 new bands , alternative or neu-metal and you think you are a rocker or a metalhead . Here at CMI I have noticed an increase of inquiries about autographs by rock musicians. Some are not too hard to find or get, given time, and others are impossible. Here is an updated list of the extremely rare, if not downright impossible from living artists, in order of their difficulty: 1) Jimmy Page (reclusive and does not sign, impossible) 2) David Gilmour (impossible or extremely rare, only signs vintage Pink Floyd collectibles) 3) Robert Plant (does not sign) 4) Pete Townshend (very rare) 5) Ritchie Blackmore (very rare) If perchance you can get one with a COA, you'd better insure it and get one *** of a safe to keep it in! The easiest and friendliest signer the past 25+ years and still going strong? Angus Young of AC/DC.

For girls who say one direction or justin beiber is "real music", I got news for you. Real music is Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, etc... Real music is a guitarist, a man(or in some cases a women) who plays with speed and agility on the frets and strings (Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Angus and Malcom Young, Pete Townshead, Tony Ionni, John Lennon, Syd Barret), a singer who announces the voice of true music (Robert Plant, Roger Waters, Ozzy Ousbourne, *** Jagger, etc...) a bassist eho helps the drummer keep the beat and pace (John Paul Jones, Roger Waters again, etc...) and a drummer who creates the roaring thunder of real music (John Bonham, Nick Mason, Keith Moon, etc...). And all these things are just the base of real music, there have been full orchesta's in this music, or a group of vocalists, or brass horns. Real music never included auto-tune like music today. P.S.- You dont see 1 direction with a Kennedy Center Honor.
Its simple.. i want to be Johnny Marr, Jimmy Page and David Gilmour combined. With a little bit of Morrissey chucked in for good measure.

Think about these things before you pick up that acoustic guitar: Neil Young, Jimmy Page, David Gilmour
Guitar greats: Eric Clapton (gotta just get that one out of the way), Jimmy Page, Alvin Lee, Stevie Ray Vaughan (RIP), Jim Hendrix (RIP), Mark Knopfler, Keith Richards, Allen Collins, Pete Townshend, *** Ronson (RIP), Robby Krieger, *** Taylor, David Gilmour, Joe Perry, Robin Trower, Duane Allman...who'd I miss? Some omitted on purpose - like Eddie Van Halen - they say he's good but I'm not a fan. I could be convinced though.

Roger Taylor: Shut up please! Dave Mustaine: LOL, No. - I didn't make this, but whoever did is so true It hurts.
I learned to play guitar because of Jimmy Page. But I fell in love with music because of David Gilmour.
Heres a short lived super group. The Firm LED by Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, and rhythm Guitarist and vocalist Paul Rodgers of Bad Company fame. Other alumni were journeyman drummer Chris Slade, he played with many top acts such as AC/DC, Manfred Mann, and Uriah Heep to name a few; and up incoming Bassist Tony Franklin who would go on to play projects with such artists as David Gilmour, Quiet Riot, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. The Firm scores a modest hit in 1985, this short tune; clocking in at just 2:49, Radioactive hits on billboard, the official video.
A bottle of Whiskey and suddenly i'm as good as David Gilmour, Kurt Cobain and Jimmy Page !!
I would love to see Jimmy Page,Eddie Van Halen,Angus Young,Josh Klinghoffer, Andrew Stockdale,David Gilmour and Kirk Hammett work on a song
Bloody *** how do you narrow it down to one favourite? Jimmy Page ... obviously. But two of my favourites who aren't included in this picture are Eric Clapton and David Gilmour.

had a dream that Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Roger Waters and David Gilmour were charged with the fake murder of Stevie Nicks. top 3 worst dreams ever..
Local guitarists excluded, Here's a list of my favorite guitarists in no particular order, Who didn't make my top 15 and who shouldn't be on it.
