Linda, Courtney, Ryan and myself joined with Linda's kids-Ron/Shelva, Sara and Mark, Owen/Jess, and Cara for a early birthday celebration for Ron and I with a huge 600 clam bake, smoked ham, grilled shrimp and more. So awesome to see that Linda's kids think so much of me. Ron's daugher, Sara made a chocolate birthday cake for her Dad and I. Cara introduces me as her step-dad to people. I refer to Linda's kids as my own extended family. Ron/Shelva, and Sara-thank you sooo much for such an awesome day. I loove you all in such a special way. So glad that COurtney and Ryan joined us for all the festivities. I really am a lucky man!!!

I got every emotional today listening to the Teacher talking about Quinn. She was telling me that he is going to go far in life, because he is a caring, thoughtful, very smart little man and good looking(LOL i put that one in). I am so proud to say I am his father. I know in my heart that Jessica and I are raising our kids to have really human values for this life that he has in front of him. We are going thru some much as a family and to know that our kids are doing great is just amazing. I am really happy to live in Lenoir where family is first. Hi can I have a pp plz … hi I had a very fast labour with my 1st, I had my 1st contraction and nothing for hr then about 5 more over the next 40mins then back to back ones and my daughter was here in 18 mins. I was induced at 40 weeks! I'm currently 30+4 with my 2nd and really worried the labour will be faster and il tear even worse this time! Any other mothers have a fast 1st labour and faster 2nd?? So clammed up that Ocean Crest Resort is joining us again for the Clam Chowder Competition. Chef Jess Owen created the winning chowder last year. Can he hold on again or will another restaurant take home the 1st Place Ribbon? Ocean Crest Resort did burn down but they are going to rebuild. As part of this community event, they have continued to participate so they keep the restaurant's name out there for when they re-open. We support all of our restaurants doing the ups and downs. This year's festival is going to be CLAMTASTIC!
