Its been three years today since you left this world...you are missed , S. Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley

♫ This song is so beautiful and so much fun to cover. - (via
The Greatest Song Ever Written (In memory of Jeff Buckley, and tip of the hat to countless others) - So I'm on my bike for another stupid long ride, 2:30 a.m. under a full moon, and I keep myself awake by singing over and over again the greatest piece of recorded music ever, not simply by Leonard Cohen, but by any carbon based life form, living or dead. That's how I've come to appreciate Hallelujah. I'm too dense to include links here, but you should look for Jeff Buckley's definitive version and K.D. Lang's beautiful take. They can own the song. Also heartfelt is a live tv recording of four Swedish guys who nail it. At the opposite end, spare yourself the bloated Alexandra Burke rendition that demonstrates how badly a simple, elegant hymn can be treated. But I understand that her live tv show version was hugely followed, sending more checks to Leonard's mailbox and putting the spotlight again briefly on Buckley. And I'm all for that.
I want 2 cry sometimes jeff buckley
zoek de nieuwe singer songewriter...good luck, gonna stick with Jeff Buckley if I wanna cry while my spine freezes up

SPELLBOUND: Happy 56th Birthday to London-born singer/songwriter SIOUXSIE SIOUX (Susan Ballion). She was frontwoman for post-punk favorites Siouxsie and the Banshees from 1976–1996, then performed with her (ex) husband Budgie as The Creatures (1981–2005), and now has an infrequent solo career. However, she will give two concerts next month at the Royal Festival Hall in London as part of Meltdown. Her songs have been covered by Jeff Buckley, Tricky, Massive Attack, and LCD Soundsystem, among others.

To all who have served and are serving thank you. To those who made the ultimate sacrifice like my buddy SRA Jeff Selm, and SRA James Day, you may be gone but you are not forgotten. It was an honor serving with both of you.

Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah" is probably the most beautiful version of the most beautiful song ever
Jeff Buckley is my favorite member of the 27.
Maybe there's a God above, But all I've ever learned from love Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you. And it's not a cry that you hear at night; It's not somebody who's seen the light; It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah. - Leonard Cohen, "Hallelujah"
My god, this Natalie Maines solo album is good. The Floyd and Jeff Buckley covers are transcendent.

Six days to 500... A favor on this fine Sunday morning... Please ask one friend who hasn't heard us to check out a song today... Let's start with "Hallelujah"... Please send them here: ask them to "LIKE" us if they enjoy our take on the song Leonard Cohen wrote, and Jeff Buckley inspired in us... Thanks!!!
It is truly hard to find artists that you can tell that they are feeling what they write, and not only how they write it but how they sing it. The 900 or so people that hear this, and the millions that will hear it will understand exactly what I mean.

I am dedicating this to all the Service Men and Women that have safely returned to their loved ones.. and let's take a moment to think of the ones that haven't.. I Love what you have done in the name of The United States of America.. and also to the countless other counties that you have helped... I love you.. and I thank you... Happy Memorial Day Weekend... With all my heart and soul... thank you.. ~Johnny OnThe Spot!
'Star Wars' is 36 years old today. I fondly remember the summer of '77 when during the summer break, I would go to watch the movie every afternoon with my lunch money! Ah, the magic never really went away, despite Mr. Lucas' later efforts to snuff it out. ;)

The greatest musician ever that passed away has got 2 be Jeff Buckley.
It is the wee morning hours. Everyone is asleep but Me! Night is my time it seems anymore. It is when I think, cry pray, have a personal conversation with God, my Mom, or whomever I feel a need to reach out to that has left this earth. My Jeff and Jane are here, my Angie and TD and my Saray, Sydney and little Gracie, and Stevie met Larry half way to pick up our Vicki and our Katiebug. Such a wonderful feeling to know we are together with the exception of my baby girl Lindsay Beth. She will be here tomorrow and we will all be one. I thank our Dear Lord for letting this weekend come together. There is no place like Home and Family! And I love them so very much. Stevie and I have so much to be thankful for. Must not forget the fur babies all the bassets are here together also: Dudley the matriarch, Buckley, Sadie, Dexter and Paulie. Only missing Blue and Larry who had to work. God Bless Oklahoma and may God be with all who lost life, or property in the devastating tornadoes this past week.

Letra e música sensacionais de Jeff Buckley: Eternal life Eternal life is now on my trail Got my red glitter coffin man, just need one last nail While all these ugly gentlemen play out their foolish games There's a flaming red horizon that screams our names And as your fantasies are broken in two Did you really think this bloody road would pave the way for you? You better turn around and blow your kiss hello to life eternal, angel Racist everyman, what have you done? Man, you've made a killer of your unborn son Crown my fear your king, at the point of a gun All I wanna do is LOVE everyone There's no time for hatred, only questions What is love? Where is happiness? What is a life? Where is PEACE? When will I find the strength to bring me release? Tell me where is the love in what your prophet has said? Man it sounds to me just like a prison for the WALKING DEAD Well I've got a message for you and your twisted hope You'd better turn around and blow your kiss goodbye to life eternal, angel

I've been really lucky over the years and have gotten a bit of press for my performing and for my releases and decided to share some of it here(mostly, i just wanted to organize myself and have it all in one place!). Hope you enjoy...   "His voice has a nice gruff quality to it, somewhere between John Bell(Widespread Panic) and Ted Hawkins and he's admirably capable of going from that grittiness and swooping up into a falsetto in the manner of Jeff Buckley" M.T.H. Weitzman - Elmore Magazine   "James Dalton continues to release exceptional homegrown music without putting on airs of the folk world chameleons. It takes more than a guitar, a flannel shirt and fedora to live this music, and Frankonia is just the latest in a multitude of independent projects that continues to keep Dalton in the Shoreworld spotlight, and as Chris Barry would say, “And the world beyond.” John Pfeiffer - Aquarian Weekly   “ "For those of you who aren’t musically educated, he’s what industry folks call “ba-dass”” ...
