However, 8% say he’s the best, despite his foriegn policy blunders resulting in the murder of an ambassador while he slept to prepare for a fundraiser, the 29 unanimous smack downs by the Supreme Court over abuse of power and clear lack of understsanding of our Constitutional system, the IRS scandal, fast and furious gun running scandal, AP scandal, James Rosen scandal, NSA eaves dropping scandal etc, etc. plus the unemployment remaining obscenely hight, the national debt to never seen before levels, the labor participation rate at record low levels, on and on and on… sheesh it’s tiresome keeping track and yet… Ouch, he *** From Washington Times… And yet still many say he’s best president ever. IRS targets Obama’s enemies: The IRS targeted conservative and pro-Israel groups prior to the 2012 election. Questions are being raised about why this occurred, who ordered it, whether there was any White House involvement and whether there was an initial effort to hide who knew about the targeting and when. 2. Benghazi: This is actually three scandals in one: The failure of administration to protect the Benghazi mission. The changes made to the talking points in order to suggest the attack was motivated by an anti-Muslim video The refusal of the White House to say what President Obama did the night of the attack 3. via Tammy Bruce: This list explains why so many people are getting a bit dreamy about what might have been: • If a Republican had been in the White House since 2009, either John McCain or Mitt Romney, Border Patrol agent Brian Terry would be alive today. • Some 300 Mexicans killed by drug cartels using Operation Fast and Furious guns would still be alive. • Benghazi never would have happened, and Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, Tyrone Wood, Glen Doherty and Sean Smith would be enjoying their lives. • There would have been no scapegoated YouTube video maker sitting in jail. • Mr. Obama wouldn’t be spying on CBS’ Sharyl Attkisson, Fox’s James Rosen or every Associated Press reporter. • We wouldn’t have lost Egypt, Libya and Syria. • Ukraine wouldn’t be on fire and approaching civil war. • We wouldn’t be making it easier for Iran to get the bomb. • China would likely not be preparing for war with Japan. • The Internal Revenue Service wouldn’t be targeting political groups ...
Has anyone noticed that there is a Resolution [1] in the U.S. House of Representatives (H.Res.411) to impeach Eric H. Holder, Jr., Attorney General of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors? There are four Articles of Impeachment: Article I concerns Holder’s refusing to comply with a congressional subpoena regarding the Operation Fast and Furious investigation by Congress. Article II concerns Holder’s refusal to enforce certain U.S. laws including: the Defense of Marriage Act, the Controlled Substances Act, and the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986. Article III concerns Holder’s failure to prosecute individuals involved in the Internal Revenue scandal regarding tax records belonging to political donors. Article IV concerns Holder’s testifying under oath that he neither was involved in nor had heard of a potential prosecution of the press. Whereas three days later, the Dept. of Justice released documents naming journalist James Rosen as a co-conspirator in an alleged violation of the Espiona ...
On CBS This Morning, fill-in co-host Anthony Mason told viewers: "As Hillary Clinton decides her future, there are new signs that Republicans are targeting two Clintons, not one. The Republican National Committee created a website to sign up anti-Clinton voters. And 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney is taking a jab at former President Bill Clinton." A sound bite followed of Romney's remarks. NBC has made a habit of covering up it's own exclusive reporting when the news is damaging to Democrats. In October of 2013, the network gave only a scant 21 seconds of coverage to the stunning revelation that President Obama knew millions of Americans would lose their existing health care plans under ObamaCare. In May of 2013, NBC completely censored reporting from it's own investigative correspondent that Obama Attorney General Eric Holder personally approved an investigation into Fox News reporter James Rosen. -- Kyle Drennen To change your e-mail delivery address, click below on 'Unsubscribe/Manage your pr ...
We really need to get government out of our homes and our business! From: Gary L. Bauer Freedom Of The Press? Barack Obama made a lot of promises to the American people. His promise about being able to keep your current health insurance if you liked it was labeled PolitiFact's "Lie of the Year." Obama also promised to lead "the most transparent administration in history." Katherine Meyer, an attorney who has specialized in freedom of information requests since the late 1970s, said the Obama Administration "…is the worst on FOIA issues. The worst. There's just no question about it." Meyer added, "This administration is raising one barrier after another. …It's gotten to the point where I'm stunned -- I'm really stunned." Far from being open and transparent, the Obama Administration has cracked down on freedom of the press. Remember the Associated Press scandal and the targeting of Fox News reporter James Rosen? Sadly, in recent years the United States has dropped 13 positions in the World Press Freedom ...
Former State Department employee pleads guilty to information leak -- Obama’s war on journalism continues By Ed Hightower - 11 February 2014 - Former State Department weapons expert Stephen Jin-Woo Kim pled guilty last Friday to a single felony count of unauthorized disclosure of classified information in exchange for a proposed 13 month prison sentence. Kim is one of nine US citizens to be prosecuted under the 1917 Espionage Act by the Obama Administration as part of the latter’s war on whistleblowers and press freedom. In all previous presidential administrations combined, only three leak cases have been prosecuted under the Act. Kim’s leak concerned information about the Stalinist North Korean regime’s intention to conduct nuclear weapons testing in response to a United Nations resolution condemning its previous nuclear and missile tests. In June of 2009, Kim provided this information to Fox News Washington Bureau chief James Rosen, who published an article saying that this information came f . ...
US official pleads guilty to N’Korea leaks A US State Department official has pleaded guilty to passing classified information on North Korea to an American journalist. Stephen Kim, 46, now faces a 13-month sentence as part of a plea deal. The case began after Fox News journalist James Rosen published a story in June 2009 about US intelligence on North Korea. It is one in a series of recent prosecutions against unauthorised leaks from government sources. The Obama Administration has prosecuted more leakers than all previous US administrations combined. Kim, who was a former senior adviser for intelligence to an assistant secretary of state, will be sentenced on April 2 if a judge accepts his plea. The information found in Rosen’s article came from an intelligence report sent to several officials, including Kim, on the same morning Rosen’s story was published, according to prosecutors. Rosen reported US intelligence officials had warned the president and other administration advisers that North Korea w ...
25 Things President Obama is Guaranteed DIDN'T Mention During his State of the Union Speech! • Fast and Furious – gun-running to Mexican drug lords; investigation shut down by executive privilege. • Benghazi – we don’t know: why the ambassador was there, who ordered military to stand down, what Obama did for 8 hours, who gave Susan Rice the video talking points, or why Hillary Clinton and Obama tried to perpetuate the lies • IRS – used to target perceived enemies of the Obama agenda • AP – no one held accountable for spying on the media • James Rosen and his parents- Holder not held accountable for lying to Congress about his role in spying on a journalist and lying to a federal judge to obtain the secret warrant • NSA data collection – massive, warrantless data collection... just in case they need it • Clinton State Department shuts down investigation of criminal activity by employees • James Clapper lies to congress about collecting data on American citizens • EPA releases ...
More Proof! The Obama Administration Lied After the Benghazi Attack Onan Coca What’s new? There are times that reporting on the Obama Administration makes me feel like a broken record. Another day, another lie discovered. Well, at least we’ve known that this one was a bunch of hogwash for a while. Now we have even more evidence of that fact. Are you ready? The Obama Administration new almost immediately that the attack on the Benghazi consulate on 9/11/2012 was a terrorist attack, and not some random protest over a YouTube video. Fox News correspondent James Rosen got his hands on some of the just released testimony from the Benghazi hearings. Gen. Carter Ham, who at the time was head of AFRICOM, the Defense Department combatant command with jurisdiction over Libya, told the House in classified testimony last year that it was him who broke the news about the unfolding situation in Benghazi to then-Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Th ...

Enforcing the Enforcer If you're looking for job security, try working in the White House's crisis management department. The President's PR team was already pumping out spin for the ObamaCare disaster, and now it will have to pull double duty for the latest scandal: the impeachment proceedings against U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. For five years, America's chief law enforcer has been the closest thing to a political cat with nine lives, dodging one career-killing controversy to another. For once, the shocking allegations may have finally caught up with the President's loyal protector and put the Attorney General's invincibility to the ultimate test. He survived his role in the Fast and Furious gun-running scheme, failed his duty to defend federal marriage law, shielded the IRS from an investigation on its targeting of conservatives, committed perjury under oath in the James Rosen probe, and even was held in contempt of Congress. Unfortunately, nothing -- not even the congressional scolding -- seemed ...
HAVE YOU SEEN THIS??? A PRESS RELEASE BEFORE 011 BENGHAZI ATTACK EVEN HAPPENED AND THEY WERE PREPARED TO BLAME IT ON A VIDEO? WHAT IS UP WITH THAT? "H/T Walid Shoebat: Is there a new front opening up relative to the Benghazi stonewall? Fox reporter James Rosen picked up on the work of a House Armed Services committee that has zeroed in on a press release dated 9/10/12, one day prior to the Benghazi attacks. The release was issued by the office of the Press Secretary (Jay Carney). When Rosen questioned Carney about this, Carney bristled and was obviously uncomfortable with this new line of questioning"
The Obama Regime has the blood of the four men, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, on their hands since the massacre at Benghazi. They have the blood of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and the hundreds of Mexican citizens killed by guns from Operation Fast and Furious on their hands. The fact that the Obama Regime refuses to answer questions surrounding these avoidable, tragic situations is an insult to the American people and the victims who died in these incidents. Couple these outrageous incidents with Obama’s blatant overreach, attempts to shut down energy and drive up costs, NSA domestic data-mining, DOJ abuses of 2nd and 4th Amendment issues (including James Rosen, the AP-judge-shopping scandal, funding protests in the Trayvon Martin case), HHS cost overruns and utter incompetence in the (Un)Affordable Care Act rollout (let's not forget the exemptions for everyone except the taxpayer) and the unconscionable use of the IRS to silence the 1st Amendment rights of political opponents of the Sau ...

America the Beautiful was once the land of the free, with freedom of speech and religion, freedom of the press, and the right to assemble or to petition the Government in favor of or against certain policies. All of this is history and pretty much been relegated to the ancient history shelves. Our government has attacked the press, invading their privacy – James Rosen and the AP have just undergone an unlawful invasion by Obama and the DOJ. Speech is on trial daily; the Obama Administration has their attack dogs primed and ready to slice and dice those who disagree with them. They immediately jerk out the old withered race card in accusing those who dare confront Obama as racists. Speech is under siege by the Obama Administration, the Liberal News Media, and many special interest groups. Religion has suffered many blows since 2009, especially when Obama tried to force Catholics into the uncomfortable position of supplying birth control products to those who wish to shack up and play around. Recently, Ob ...

You know how lately Obama says he’s been finding out all the bad news not from his advisors but from the news media instead? But after listening to Jay Carney drone on and on day after day I’m beginning to think maybe no one in this administration knows what’s going on. Benghazi, the IRS, the NSA, AP reporter monitoring, calling James Rosen a flight risk, you name it and this administration says they heard about it in the news. So it got me to thinking, and yes, I know this plan’s a long shot but given the “talent” in Obama’s inner circle it just might work. We get a couple of newspapers and a few local TV affiliates to run this story; “Obama resigned yesterday. Family packing today and will depart for their new home in the suburbs of Nairobi, Kenya tomorrow at 8:45am.” Then we email the links to the stories off to the Kenyan media who’ll run with it in a heartbeat causing their government to announce the biggest “Welcome Home” party in recorded history. Allen West posted this on FB this morning: Recently, the entire uniformed leadership of the US Military was brought before the Senate Armed Services Committee on the subject of sexual assaults. They are being held responsible. So why isn’t Obama held responsible for all the scandals and questionable actions coming from his Executive Branch:I Benghazi, Boston terror attack, IRS, Fast and Furious, HHS solicitation of private funds, State Department misbehavior, Obamacare health exchange navigators, NSA surveillance, Attorney General Holder's actions against AP, James Rosen, and Sharryl Atkisson. This is all very indicting and shows a failure in the "command climate." If I were Speaker of the House, I would make a demand on behalf of the American people, and clearly articulate that "President Obama refuses to answer or take responsibility for various questionable actions within his administration. Therefore, as Speaker, I am issuing a subpoena for the President to appear under oath before the Government Ov ...

I know I've been a little lax on the Paul-itics lately, and I apologize for that. I hope to be back at it soon enough. Here's some briefs bits of the MAJOR "SCANDALPALOOZA" news that's been happening: *It was reported that the United States Department of Justice spied on phone records of numerous AP and Fox News reporters (including, in one case, a reporter's parent). James Rosen, one Fox News analyst in particular, was tracked via his visits to the State Department, phone traces, timing of calls, and personal emails. He was also labeled a "flight risk" to keep from being informed of the ongoing surveillance. The DOJ did not directly contact Rosen nor any other Fox News or AP personnel, instead going to their phone providers, including Verizon Wireless. Verizon immediately handed the information over by neither challenging nor alerting the journalists whose records were being requested. I repeat, VERIZON HANDED OVER PERSONAL RECORDS ON CITIZENS WITHOUT CHALLENGING NOR ALERTING THESE CITIZENS THEY WERE BEI ...

O'REILLY: "Personal Story" segment tonight. CBS News announced on Friday that Investigative Correspondent Sharyl Attkisson's computer was hacked into late last year. This, combined with the James Rosen situation here
Well, if Obama was truly unaware of the IRS abuse, AWOL during the Benghazi attacks and the subsequent administration-orchestrated cover-up, and oblivious to the Fast and Furious gun-walking operation, the targeting of the media in the Associated Press scandal, the raiding of Gibson Guitar Corp., the witch hunt against Fox News reporter James Rosen, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius' alleged pressuring of companies within the regulatory ambit of HHS to donate, and the multitudinous scandals concerning Solyndra, exactly what does he spend his time doing? If Obama wasn't behind those egregious episodes or was ignorant of them as he claims, then we have a right to know who has been acting as our president. If he didn't order them, then he undeniably fostered a climate that strongly encouraged his subordinates to implement them on his behalf. It simply cannot be coincidental that Obama's underlings have pursued discriminatory practices that precisely conform to Obama's agenda and to his fr ...

Inspired by the success of Woodrow Wilson’s favorite film, Birth of a Nation, Goldstein hoped The Spirit of ’76 would inspire the whole country. Alas, his timing was miserable. America was going to war, and Congress had just passed the Espionage Act (the same law Eric Holder used to target Fox News’s James Rosen). Authorities were outraged that Goldstein had cast the British — our allies in the war to end all wars — in such a negative light, especially since there was already strong anti-British sentiment among Americans of German and Irish descent. At the behest of the Department of Justice, Lucullus Cicero Funkhouser, the head of the Chicago Police Censorship Board (and contender for best name ever), confiscated the film. Goldstein agreed to edit out some offending material, including a scene where King ...

I never thought the day would come when I would not only lose all respect for the leadership of America, but I would actually fear the future of my children. THat sad day is upon us The President’s Follow-Up War Middle East: With the formal determination that Syria has used chemical weapons, the stage is set for U.S. intervention, with Hezbollah and Iran on the other side. How’s that Arab Spring working out, Mr. President? Following our less-than-stellar attempts at regime change in Egypt and Libya — aiding in the ouster of Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak and the overthrow and death of Moammar Gadhafi — the administration, even by its own elastic standards, has decided it can no longer afford to kick the Syrian can down the road. Perhaps it just needs a good war to grab the headlines away from the IRS’ targeting of Tea Party groups, the NSA’s blanket surveillance of innocent Americans, the unresolved Benghazi disaster, the charging of Fox News reporter James Rosen as an unindicted co-conspirator, the ...
Imagine that!!!--NEW YORK (AP) -- Private investigators found that CBS News Washington reporter Sharyl Attkisson's computer was tampered with multiple times late last year, the network said Friday. CBS said an intruder, working remotely using Attkisson's accounts, executed commands involving the search and filtering of data. The network said it is taking further steps to identify the intruder and how that person gained access to her computer. CBS hired a cybersecurity firm to conduct the analysis. Attkisson, an investigative reporter who has worked at CBS since 1995, said three weeks ago that she thought someone had tampered with her computers. In an interview with Philadelphia's WPHT radio on May 21, Attkisson said "there could be some relationship" between what has happened to her and to James Rosen, the chief Washington correspondent for Fox News Channel. In what appeared to be a leak investigation, law enforcement officials obtained a search warrant to obtain some of Rosen's private emails and tracked ...
Why is Holder still in office and not indicted for perjury? We all saw him lie to Congress in the Fast and Furious, now James Rosen..who they intend to prosecute as I heard it on c-span radio in the middle of the night on the radio and some democrat said go through with this against Rosen..that was not seen on television or maybe I missed it but I heard it. He also lied to three judges. What more is needed to indict him for perjury? Unless the republicans and democrats are afraid of this President who has something on all of them or have we already lost our country to crooks in all of these departments. I feel sorry for Snowden as no matter why he told us Americans about the the spying on us and we have nothing to worry about us and our calls, who knows what they may use in the future? Look how they concocted this story about Fox executives and James Rosen so they can do worse to our children. I keep remembering Hitler kept all those records also and then what he did with them. Are you the right color or ...
1. Fast and Furious - Not interested 2. Bailouts - not ok when Bush did it but Silence when Obama did it 3. Haliburton - hate them because of Chaney and Bush big oil ties But ignore Obama's ties to Soros, Goldman Sachs, and the CEO of GE 4. Billions of taxpayer money Obama gave to green companies starting with Solyndra and all but a few have claimed backruptcy. ~ yet his supporters look the other way. 5. Obama's DOJ chooses which laws they will enforce and which ones they wont. They spend millions of taxpayer money fighting Arizona on There immigration laws and right to work laws, and voter ID laws, and do not prosecute the New Black Panthers for voter intimidation at polling places in Philadelphia. ~ Democrats okay with this not a peep out of them. 6. Benghazi Coverup - Democrats look the other way and don't care. Nothing to see here folks, move along. 6. IRS targeting of Patriot and Christian organizations which suppressed voters - democrats care little. 7. DOJ wiretapping of James Rosen (reporter) phon ...
In the ongoing saga of scandals that have been coming out like a flood this year, after the election - not that any self respecting journalist would have uncovered any of this or reported on it DURING the election, we are told that the Justice Department named James Rosen a "co-conspirator" and "aider and abettor" in a leak investigation. The leak was a classified document indicating that North Korea, that haven of civil liberties and human dignity... well, compared to Obama they are, would respond to U.N. sanctions with a nuclear missile test. On the Scale of Duh this was a 9.5 out of 10. But this was classified intel, no matter how obvious, and DOJ is pursuing charges against the leaker and James Rosen. Who's Rosen you ask? He's the reporter that wrote the story on the information. Never heard of him. Well, he works for Fox News. Ah yes, that Fox News. So what's the big deal? Well, we have a new leak with a great deal of new information on a completely different front. Edward Snowden told the world abou ...
CNN contributor Ryan Lizza digs into the timeline of the Justice Department's investigation of James Rosen.
When reporters asked about Eric Holder targeting reporter James Rosen, Jay Carney said "I would refer you to the Justice Department". Not sure if that counts as a dodge or a threat. Fred Thompson
Greg Seriously you think the Judicial system going to WATCH to see if the Gov is doing things right James Rosen
I have been asked by friends what do I think the government is looking for and what do they gain by gathering data on us. I think they are looking for threats to national security. By virtue of gathering all of this data on everyone, you and I are being treated as national security risks. You don’t have to do anything now to come under suspicion. We can see the abuses that have occurred with the IRS, targeting ABC, and targeting James Rosen under a 1917 espionage law. As Mark Steyn says, this is what happens when parties merge with the state—the power of the state is misused. It doesn’t matter if we are intent on terrorist or other illegal activity today. We might be someday and therefore all the info collected now can serve as a baseline. The technology is with us and we like and enjoy using it, in fact it is essential for us now. I would not object to doing this to people if they have probable cause and a warrant. However, where you go on the internet, etc. is your private business and the ...
The full depth and reach of these surveillance programs are still being unravelled. With the IRS, James Rosen and now this surveillance news, we need to make Washington play by the rules and values of Americans living outside of Washington.
Susan Rice is moving to National Security Adviser from her post as Ambassador to the U.N., even after her credibility has been flattened by the Benghazi scandal bus. She will replace Tom Donilon, the guy suspected of leaking classified national security secrets to the press for President Obama’s election advantage. (Funny how the Obama Administration can blab about unleashing the Stuxnet worm on the Iranians’ nuclear program, but wanted to criminalize Fox reporter James Rosen for wanting to know about North Korea’s security policy). As former Democratic strategist Pat Caddell wrote at Breitbart: …Donilon is surely responsible for many of the leaks coming out of the White House, all of which seemed to advance the cause of making Obama look like a tough Commander-in-Chief. These were leaks that Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Democrat of California and chair of the Intelligence Committee described as “very, very disturbing.” She added, “It’s dismayed our allies. It puts American lives in jeopardy. It ...
Fast and Furious. Benghazi. AP reporters spied on. James Rosen lied about and spied on. IRS targeting Obama's political opponents. Tell me more about this "open and transparent" administration.
"Yes, I realize that throughout this essay I've used an analogy that some people will find offensive or even repugnant. But I've done this deliberately, because this is no time to hold back or to mince words. And if the president doesn't like being compared to a Nazi -- he should stop acting like one." ~ Herbert E. Meyer THE SMOKING GUN IN PLAIN SIGHT By Herbert E. Meyer As the Obama Administration descends into a whirlpool of scandals, a race has begun among Congressional committees and news organizations to find the proverbial smoking gun -- the document that will link President Obama directly to the IRS's targeting of conservative groups, or to the Justice Department's unprecedented legal actions against the Associated Press and Fox News reporter James Rosen, or to the Pentagon's ghastly failure to launch a rescue mission when our consulate in Benghazi came under attack last September. Study history, and you will understand why no such document is ever likely to be found: That just isn't how these thin ...
In concept, the feds collection of meta data is not that big of a deal. I want them to catch the bad guys before they strike. Unfortunately the Barak Obama Administration has used data collection and selective targeting for political purposes. His Justice Department exaggerated the warrant request for Fox News reporter James Rosen. The IRS was most certainly directed to target political enemies. The phone records of the Associated Press were seized in broad and likely unconstitutional raid. The administration has claimed these actions were justified for national security reasons (Rosen, AP) or incompetence/snafu (IRS). What gives sane Americans a chill about the NSA data mining efforts is that this administration has demonstrated a willingness to bend/break the laws for its own expediency.
Told you it wouldnt be long before they filled Juans glass with the koolaid Juan Williams chew on this... Benghazi happened, people died due to incompetence, or a cover-up, but it STILL happened AP records were grabbed and James Rosen was wrongfully targeted by Eric Holder, his freaking signature on it and had to coerce one of three judges to get it IRS targeting Conservatives happened... there is proof as well as testimony and a paper trail to prove it, (Hey *** the IRS is part of the executive branch, in case you forgot) I could go on but those were the three you threw out to try and deflect your precious from looking bad... featured in NBC s Science of Love
Haven't we had enough from Obama and thr Administration? . NSA Snooping . James Rosen attack . Associated Press attack . Banghazi fiasco and cover-up . IRS targetting . HHS/Obamacare train wreck . XL Pipeline stonewalling . Excessive regulations for drilling on Federal lands . An inept and unqualified President
Yes, he said this... "...If people can't trust not only the Executive Branch, but also don't trust Congress and don't trust.uh...Federal Judges, to make sure that we are abiding by the Constitution, due process and rule of law, then we are going to have some problems here." ~ President Barack H. Obama Ya think? With the goings on since the September 11, 2012 TERRORIST attack in Benghazi; the subsequent COVER UP; the IRS ADMITTING they have been targeting Conservatives; then "Pleading the Fifth" when questioned about it; the Congressional members on the left BLAMING THE TARGETS for being targeted; the guilty parties in the IRS not being fired but rather PROMOTED or given PAID LEAVE; Attorney General Eric Holder either lying to Congress or a Federal Judge or both; seizing the phone and email records of the media, namely Fox News' James Rosen and family along with the Associated Press, and now "mining" OUR PHONE CALLS, internet interaction and emails, why would he think we would EVER have a problem trusting ...
By Craig Andresen There may well be more to Eric Holder’s “possible” perjury and the DOJ’s spying on journalists than appears at first blush. While congressional committees continue to probe the James Rosen situation and Holder’s obvious lying TO the committee… I am taking another look at the DOJ and their spying on the Associated Press. Now, we ALL know what the DOJ gave as the reason for the clandestine grab of AP phone records that could well have placed HUNDREDS of press reporters AND many Members of congress in the snoop-happy cross-hairs. It was the DOJ’s attempt to find out who was leaking classified info TO the press. Right??? Hold on…Not so fast… I have a question. If Holder and his goons were trying to find the source of leaks…Why wasn’t he spying on the only possible SOURCES of those leaks? Obama’s inner circle. Correct? ONLY those with fresh knowledge OF that information could have possibly LEAKED that information. Reporters were simply doing what reporters and SUPPOSED ...
Let's see - it was a was two rogue agents in the Cincinnati office.I never intended to prosecute James Rosen...stories changing ever single day as new facts arise. By the way, Carter Hull, the IRS lawyer in the crosshairs of the IRS mess, is convenient. Most of the people in the Obama Administration, including the czars, are corrupt to their core and incompetent...soaking up huge salaries and perks and hiding in the shadows.any decent leader would have already had many, many heads to roll...but these liberals are not the least bit embarrassed and are only sorry they got caught...and they will all get caught...sooner or later.
One of the best bits of TV news analysis takes place each day on Fox's "Special Report with Bret Baier." The rotating, so-called All Star Panel that holds sway for the final twenty minutes or so of the program takes on the events of the day in a generally witty and interesting manner. Some panel members are card-carrying Democrats or Republicans, but the nice thing is they don't hide it, usually foregoing claims of being just off the turnip truck. Today's panel was exceptionally good, because it made some observations that went beyond the first layer of politics. The second segment included this (paraphrased): Guest host chris Wallace: Charles, are we getting close to Big Brother? Charles Krauthammer: It depends on who's in office. I don't think it's just our new technology. The IRS scandal isn't a necessary product of big government, it's a deliberate attempt to harass and to hurt conservative organizations. The way [Fox News reporter] James Rosen was treated, with false information being put befo ...
*IF YOU NEVER READ ANYTHING I POST, EVER AGAIN, YOU SURELY MUST READ THIS BECAUSE IT EFFECTS DEMOCRATS, REPUBLICANS, INDEPENDENTS AND EVERYONE IN BETWEEN * WARNING: Big daddy Obama is watching YOU, ME and everyone else who has a cell phone!! Yep, under the disguise of national security they have requested to get cell phone records of VERIZON customers AND be able to TRACK US! IF YOU ARE A VERIZON CUSTOMER, CHANCES ARE OBAMA now not only knows who you called but where you were when you called, who you talked to and how long. It is Verizon's records Obama and his 'faithful' AG, Eric Holder have demanded right now but without doubt, all other cell companies are sure to be required to roll over and provide Obama and Holder this information also. WE ARE PROTECTED against this in the constitution but they, as usual, and so arrogantly. totally have ignored it's existence. REMEMBER...HOLDER and OBAMA also FALSELY made Fox News reporter, James Rosen, out to be a 'criminal' for no other reason than to be abl ...
The appointment of Susan Rice as National Security Advisor is just a rabbit for the republicans and the media to chase to divert our attention from Benghazi, The mess at the IRS and the DOJ. going after James Rosen and the AP. it is also blatant PAYBACK for her loyalty to protect the president politically at all costs. If this woman is so smart and savvy on foreign affairs, how did she get it so wrong on the attack on our facility in Benghazi? And she gets promoted for incompetence? You've got to love how this administration works.
Pressure is mounting on Eric Holder to step down as Attorney General. Over the weekend, House Republicans confirmed that they are looking into the possibility that Holder might have committed perjury with his denials under oath of any involvement in the leak probe of Fox News reporter James Rosen, which we later discovered he’d signed off on. Sen. John McCain, who carries bipartisan gravitas, suggested that Holder should consider resigning. Ironically, there were even leaks that anonymous White House staffers would be relieved to see Holder step aside, since he’s become a lightning rod for scandal. So far, President Obama is standing by his man, even after receiving an unprecedented razzing from comedians for putting Eric Holder in charge of investigating Eric Holder. Whether his refusal to jettison Holder is due to stubbornness, arrogance, loyalty, or some other reason isn’t clear. But this administration has thrown a lot of people under the bus. At this point, I can’t imagine they aren’t ...
Team Obama picked the wrong victim in targeting the media By Washington Times (DC) June 4, 2013 6:50 am As a longtime, ink-stained wretch, I'm actually glad that some of the Obama Administration's bombs targeting our essential liberties found their way out of the Tea Party kill zone and were dropped instead on the Fourth Estate. Most of the media are the Obama Administration's most loyal constituents. In fact, they may be the most loyal constituents after the reliable voters in Chicago's cemeteries. A liberal administration targeting the media? It's like giving the dog that's been biting your opponents a swift kick in the head. The dog doesn't like it. By seizing the phone records on 20 lines used by as many as 100 Associated Press reporters, and by treating Fox News Channel reporter James Rosen like a criminal defendant, the Justice Department has managed to get much of the media sore at them. Even the leftist Huffington Post had a May 30 column by Jonathan Turley calling for Mr. Holder to be fired. The ...
I heard a very insightful comment last night, "The President is unfamiliar with the truth". With Benghazi, the IRS scandal, the secret gathering of email and phone records of AP reporters and the illegal investigation into Fox reporter James Rosen by the DOJ, this is sadly a very true statement. Wake up America.
You have to love the way government works. In a statement issued by the Justice Department regarding the seizure of records belonging to Fox News reporter James Rosen and naming him "an unindicted co-conspirator," they state that they never intended to prosecute him anyway. So in the eyes of Eric Holder, that makes it ok. LOL, "I'm sorry, forgive me?"
FOX-James Rosen cover up all over again!!! Multiple calls to the DC court went unanswered. Royce C. Lamberth,...
The Government Prosecutor is moving to make journalism a crime and using Bradley Manning as the means to this despicable endeavor. Now, the US government's claim in the Bradley Manning trial that Manning was basically receiving instructions from Assange. This is in order to justify and legalize their pursuit of Assange for espionage. Pursuing information is a journalists job, and if they have their way will soon be considered criminal activity. They are moving to criminalize investigative journalism. Pentagon Papers Lawyer James Goodale: It’s Time for Eric Holder to Resign. The Attorney General’s conduct in trying to pass off the James Rosen subpoena as falling under the Espionage Act proves that he is abusing his office. Pentagon papers lawyer James Goodale has seen this before—in Richard Nixon. Attorney General Eric Holder should resign for his role in the James Rosen case. He signed off on a search warrant to Rosen, a Fox News reporter. This warrant treated Rosen as a common criminal. It set ...
Attorney General Eric Holder Must Go - A Legal Analysis Most people in the country (as evidenced by polls and "man on the street" interviews I have seen on MANY programs) have no idea who our Attorney General is, much less what he has done. In an attempt to investigate the alleged espionage (the government's choice of wording - NOT Republicans') regarding North Korea back in 2009, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ - the head of which is Eric Holder - the U.S. Attorney General) sought a warrant to invade the privacy of James Rosen, a reporter for Fox News. The warrant sought (and was approved by a federal judge) and obtained Rosen's private phone records, his work records, his work and private email accounts, HIS PARENT'S PHONE RECORDS, and other information regarding Rosen. With no help coming from the White House or the DOJ, Congress called Holder to testify before a House committee on May 15, 2013. In response to a question about the DOJ's prosecution of suspected leakers and the journalists to whom . ...
“What if Eric Holder held an off-the-record press briefing, and the only reporter to show up was James Rosen?”...I love it!!!
The Justice Department won’t do to other media outlets what it did to the AP or to Fox News correspondent James Rosen, Attorney General Eric Holder said.
A week ago, it was disclosed that Attorney General Eric Holder – conjuring up false claims that Fox News reporter James Rosen had aided and abetted a State Department employee in disclosing national security information concerning North Korea – ordered the Department of Justice to secretly obtain th...
Amid a furor over a Justice Department subpoena of Associated Press phone records and an investigation of leaks to Fox News correspondent James Rosen, Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., the third-ranking senator in the Democratic leadership, voiced confidence in Attorney General Eric H …
Sadly, a plurality of liberals polled this weekend, don't care that either that the IRS targeted conservative groups with their audits, nor that the Press was/is being spied upon by the administration through the Justice Department. (I say spied upon as Eric Holder said there was never any institute to prosecute in the case of James Rosen.) It's an odd occurrence as liberals have most famously been supportive of personal freedoms; something they and conservatives have often found agreement on. I do commend the news organizations that choose not to meet with Eric Holder in his "off the record" meeting, and for those that went, I won't be buying your products moving forward as you have proven yourself not to be journalists. And that includes the WSJ and WP. Kudos to CBS and The New York Times for maintaining the objectivity and importance of the fourth estate... at least for awhile.
Attorney General Eric Holder needs to be indicted and made to do a "perp walk", as James Rosen asks for his comment!!
Meet Abdulelah Haider Shaye, The Other Journalist The Obama Administration Has Targeted 01 june 2013, WASHINGTON -- James Rosen got off easy. After searching his email and tracking his whereabouts, the Department of Justice has not jailed or prosecuted the Fox News journalist, which the Obama Administration says reflects its deep respect for the role of a free press. On Thursday, a DOJ spokesperson said in a statement that "the Department does not anticipate bringing any additional charges. During the Attorney General's tenure, no reporter has ever been prosecuted." The Obama Administration gave no such leniency to Abdulelah Haider Shaye, a Yemeni journalist who had access to top officials in the militant Islamist group Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) and reported on evidence that the United States had conducted a missile strike in al Majala for which the Yemeni government had claimed credit. After Shaye was initially imprisoned for alleged involvement with AQAP in 2010, supporters pressed for hi ...
Attorney General Eric Holder lies to Congress include the New Black Panthers, Fast and Furious, the James Rosen subpoena and the Associated Press.
On her blog this afternoon, Fox News' On the Record host Greta Van Susteren wrote that the Department of Justice should feel lucky they did not hack into her emails like they did with her colleague James Rosen several years ago.
How Stupid Do They Think We Are? Apparently VERY Stupid. Mark Steyn This is from the Weekly Standard, Daniel Halper. You know, I read stuff like this, and ask, "Do they really think that we are this stupid?" The answer is yes. "President Barack Obama's Attorney General, Eric Holder, is 'beginning to feel a creeping sense of personal remorse.' The feelings of 'remorse' began for Holder after he read an article in the Washington Post about how the Justice Department, which he heads, investigated Fox News reporter James Rosen. "At least, this is the story unnamed aides are telling the Daily Beast," which is an Obama sycophant publication. Get this: "'[F]or Attorney General Eric Holder, the gravity of the situation didn’t fully sink in until Monday morning when he read the Post’s front-page story, sitting at his kitchen table. Quoting from the affidavit, the story detailed how agents had tracked Rosen’s movements in and out of the State Department, perused his private emails, and traced the timing of hi ...
Imagine what would have happened if Attorney General John Ashcroft had investigated Chris Matthews in the same manner in which Eric Holder has investigated James Rosen... Come on people, time to level the playing field!
Holder knows nothing about the James Rosen search warrant he signed
Thought you might find this interesting. GOOD AFTERNOON TO EVERYONE! Attorney General Eric Holder decided to conduct damage control over the Justice Department's media-spying scandals through a series of press briefings. In a darkly comical touch, these briefings were to be held off-the-record. Several prominent media organizations - including the Associated Press, the New York Times, and CNN - refused to attend these meetings unless they were held on the record. The AP was one of the organizations targeted by DOJ's controversial surveillance. Even more aggressively monitored was Fox News, whose reporter James Rosen was essentially accused of espionage. Fox News is one of the few organizations that has announced it will attend Holder's briefings. No word yet on whether their representative will be James Rosen, but we have our fingers crossed. The Obama Administration has a long history of fearing free speech, going all the way back to its early efforts at challenging the legitimacy of Fox News. All of the ...
remorse my *** he's sorry he got caught and that's all! that's only reason obams hiding too! inShare 1 President Barack Obama has been mocked for learning about untoward conduct in his administration from the press. But he's on the ball compared with his Attorney General, who wouldn't know about his own poor judgment without reading about it in the papers. Let's hope he has a Google alert set for "Eric Holder." The website The Daily Beast interviewed the Attorney General and Justice Department officials for a piece about how the AG is holding up in the firestorm over two controversial Justice Department leak investigations, one into The Associated Press, the other into Fox News reporter James Rosen. The Daily Beast piece pinpoints when Eric Holder had a crisis of conscience leading him to question his leak-investigating ways. The Washington Post had made inquiries at the Justice Department about the investigation into Rosen stemming from a 2009 leak, and the department's press office had begun to ready it ...

Backlash Grows Against Eric Holder's Media Meetings " you can't meet with me if you report what I say " ~ Eric Holder Eric Holder's attempt to save his job by repairing his image with the media through a series of off-the-record meetings with several news organizations is backfiring in a major way. While ABC News and Politico have agreed to attend, CNN, McClatchy, the Associated Press, New York Times, and Huffington Post have all made very public statements declaring they will boycott the meeting. Last week, after news broke that holder had personally signed the application to obtain the warrant to seize Fox News reporter James Rosen's personal emails and phone records,...
Scales held by Lady Justice symbolizing the measure of a case's support and opposition. Justice should be EQUAL. Attorney General Eric Holder must go. He is a political hack, And a liar who has lied to Congress. He was instrumental in the pardon of the largest tax cheater, Mark Rich. He let the New Black Panther Party off on voter intimidation in a case that has already been won. Let's not forget fast and furious. He lied there too. The Justice Department under his leadership has authorized wiretaps on AP reporters. And his signature was on bogus papers to illegally wiretap Fox News reporter James Rosen. And of course he lied before Congress there again. I think jail time for this fool is in order. Like if you agree
Face it: The feds have not violated the First Amendment rights of James Rosen of Fox News | via
Attorney General Eric H. Holder must go, I do`nt care if he resigns, is terminated, or impeached, We can`t allow bad behavior to go unpunished. This man has gotten away with too much laready. First, He gives the Black Panthers of Philly a free pass when they intimiadated voters back in `08, then he punishes states that crack down on voter fraud by suing them for thier voter ID laws, then he sues the Governor of Arizona for doing the job he should have done, securing the borders, then, of course, he lies about Fast & Furious, now, he lies about being ignorant about harassing the media, (most notably James Rosen of Fox News), as well as his role in the IRS harassment of consrvative groups. Grover Cleveland said that "A public offfice is a public trust", & this man has lost his trust with the American people, 7 he should lose his office.

Attorney General Eric Holder judge-shopped to snoop on Fox News reporter James Rosen. (May truth keep coming out!)
Attorney General Eric Holder put HIS SIGNATURE at the bottom of the document that claimed James Rosen was involved in criminal activity by violating the Espionage Act. They had to make the claim or no judge would approve the search warrant. The search warrant was needed so they could search the reporters personal information to see what government official had committed a crime, although nobody, NOBODY, thought or thinks James Rosen ever committed any crime. They just had to "say" that to get a warrant. Now, Eric Holder, the chief law enforcement officer in the United States, has vowed to get to the bottom of why this happened. Sir, you signed the search warrant. We know what happened. YOU, by your signature, lied to a federal judge. That is a crime, and you need to not only resign but go to jail for this abuse of power. Or, provide proof that you really thought this reporter was guilty of a crime. As you have publicly stated, not even you believe that. Time to go Mr. Attorney General. To prison.
First Amendment expert Floyd Abrams says the Justice Department has overstepped its bounds in its pursuit of reporter James Rosen.
THIRD TIME IS A CHARM: AG Eric Holder is slowly beginning to sink under his own weight where these phoney warrants against FOXNEWS is concerned. It seems that not only did Eric Holder was the one who signed off on the warrants against James Rosen, the AG also had to go judge shopping to get permission to even get the warrant. Turns out that the AG had to go through two other judges before the third one granted his request. The first two noting that Rosen had to be notified that there was a warrant under his name. Well, of course Holder didnt want to tell him that he was violating his 1st amendment rights.. Whats the fun in that?? In a perfect world, Holder's days as AG would be numbered.. But Pres Obama told Holder to INVESTIGATE HIMSELF in getting to the bottom of the AP and FOXNEWS phone tapping.. That is the equivalent of me asking my dog to find out of who is peein in my garden..
The Holder Department of Justice went judge shopping with criminal warrants for James Rosen. Two separate judges refused to offer DOJ the ability to secretly search the contents of Rosen's e-mail account. A third judge, Royce C. Lamberth, appealed the…
Tonight on Special Report-- more problems for Attorney General Eric Holder. A House committee is investigating whether the president's top cop lied to Congress about surveillance on reporters -- specifically FOX's James Rosen. Team coverage tonight at 6pmET on
After claiming he had no knowledge of the DOJ targeting of reporters, it is now revealed that Eric Holder went to THREE different judges before finally getting one to sign off on the warrant for James Rosen. He lied to Congress under oath and should be in jail.
Our president has decided that the Attorney General, Eric Holder, should investigate himself in regard to the DOJ probe involving Fox News correspondent James Rosen. Using the same logic, shouldn't we allow the bombers at the Boston marathon to decide their own guilt or innocence? And yes, I'm being sarcastic.
Here Brenda, let's start with this: Yesterday, on Fox and Friends, one of the anchor people went out on the street to interview people on the recent goings on with the AP/IRS/James Rosen scandal involving Eric Holder, and Bengazi. First of all, what a shocker, one young man thought Bengazi was a country. Another individual thought the IRS scandal was good for President Obama, and most who were interviewed didn't even know current events about the AP or the IRS. Sadly, my cousins in Norway get the liberal news, so they do not see both sides of the coin. Imagine, if you will, the intelligence of our young men and women being determined by one young man who is more interested in skateboarding than what sacrifices were made by our Ambassador and the Seal team protecting him.
James Rosen is a real reporter and a superb professional. So is Sharyl Attkisson. There are others. But for the most part --the vast majority actual
"James Rosen is a lot of things, but a criminal co-conspirator he is not." Sen (R) Graham must watch RedEye
You've probably heard by now that the seizure of phone records relating to Fox News report James Rosen is the greatest threat to democracy since the Alien and Sedition Acts. Mind you, nobody has suggested that they were illegal. Indeed, Fox News had been unstinting in its criticism of the White House for its failure to crack down on leaks. The outrage is centered on the fact that DOJ did not follow its own procedures which required them to give notice first, so that the "target" would have an opportunity to go to court and seek injunctive relief. Update: DOJ gave notice to the parent corp of Fox News over two years ago, but News Corp didn't notify Fox of the information.
The former general counsel of News Corp. , parent company of Fox News , said his office never got any notification from the U.S. Justice Department in 2010 that it had subpoenaed communications records of Fox News reporter James Rosen.
The Fox television network this week confirmed that officials from the Justice Department notified its parent company nearly three years ago of plans to seize the telephone records of James Rosen,...
NY Times feels heat from the Obama Administration May 26, 2013 by Michael Dorstewitz Leave a Comment 0 inShare Email Print A Department of Justice probe, affecting The New York Times, commenced after a Times investigative reporter ran an article in June about the U.S.’s role in developing a computer virus directed at Iran’s nuclear program. Image credit Times journalist David Sanger’s post describing the computer worm, called Stuxnet, sent Obama Administration officials scurrying to find and plug the leak that wound its way to the reporter’s computer and eventually onto the front page of the Times, according to The Atlantic. This time the Obama Administration “plumbers” got a bit more creative in finding the leak. Instead of pulling Sanger’s telephone and email records as they had with Associated Press reporters and Fox News’ James Rosen, it looked for the leak at their end. This meant pulling every communication record of every government employee having any knowledge of ...
Eric Holder signed Off on warrant to read James Rosen personal e-mails
HUH? - Juan Williams: Eric Holder had nothing to do with James Rosen case
Yes, Obama has called for an investigation into the Justice Department handling of leaks. And to whom has he assigned this task? None other than Eric Holder - head of the Justice Dept. - who we recently learned personally approved the subpoena to spy on reporter James Rosen. You just can't make this stuff up, folks. Obama another Bush.. who speaks a lot better.
Eric Holder lied under oath during a Congressional hearing, he did personally sign off on the order to obtain James Rosen's phone records. Now Obama gives him the task of investigating the situation. Lois Lerner claims she is innocent but refuses to answer any questions regarding abuses of targeting conservative groups, yet she is given more paid time off. GREAT use of OUR tax dollars.
RB: Islamic supremacism is not based on a lie. By Andrew C. McCarthy Two plus two equals five. I mean, I really want it to be five. So let’s just pretend it’s five and, before you know it, it’ll be five. After all, we are the ones (or is it the fives?) we’ve been waiting for. My narrow-minded opponents, stuck in the mathematics of a bygone time, would have us make a false choice between elementary addition and our values. But as James Madison or James Rosen or somebody said, “The arc of arithmetic is long, but it bends toward, um . . . five.” That, it seemed to me, was about what President Obama was saying in his wag-the-jihad speech on Thursday at the National Defense University in Washington. Poetic justice would not give social justice the time of day, so it is tempting simply to ignore this cynical exercise — the speech was less about national security than about changing the subject. But the otherworldliness of Obama’s meanderings on war and the enemy is worth mulling over. Why this s ...
Fox News chief Roger Ailes responded to the Justice Department’s targeting of Fox reporter James Rosen via an internal memo to his staff.
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder approved the decision to seize the phone records and personal emails of Fox News reporter James Rosen, the Justice Department disclosed late Friday.
There is a God... I spent today at at cook out with family and friends. One of the guests was a close friend of my daughter and son in law...lets call him Mr. X. Since 2006 when Obama was campaigning for president and all during his first term and continuing through the 2012 elections, whenever Mr. X, a STRONG STRONG Obama lover and I would get into-verbal confrontations I could not convince him that Obama was unfit to be president. Well today he finally agreed with me.he is disgusted with Obama re: Benghazi, IRS, AP, and the James Rosen affair. Obama's complete lack of transparency etc. etc. and of course Eric Holder. Thank you Jesus please bring more of them to my side.
If Attorney General Eric Holder signed off on the James Rosen dragnet, he must resign.
Mark Levin: Holder targeted James Rosen because they couldn't wait to take a shot at Fox News
Do we know how the Washington Post initially heard about the James Rosen subpoena? I think they initially broke the story.
.is on a tear about excuse-making on behalf of the DOJ re: search warrant of James Rosen. Follow immediately.
